A/N: well, although that last episode was totally adorable, I think it was very... um flakey. As GodIsnotaZombie was telling me this morning, it was flakey. The writers completely discreditted Brennan, making her seem like some kind of weird person who had suddenly lost all she had learned in the past six years. I loved the fluff, but they're not really making any sense. Why would she have a DVD made, if she doesn't think Booth would care? I'm really thrilled about Booth and Brennan's little girl. BabyBonesxMichael are going to be seriously cute.
Their Little Girl
Truth be told, she was extremely excited at the fact that they were having a baby girl. Of course, it was illogical, she would love her child no matter what it was, but for some reason knowing she was having a daughter made it all the more exciting, in a way. She looked up to find her best friend and her son standing on the doorway.
"Hey Ange, Michael," she greeted them, motioning for Angela to come in. "Why did you take him out of the Daycare center?" she said holding her finger out to the little boy. He smiled widely at her, and made a grab for her finger. Angela and Brenna chuckled.
"Well, you know, it is our lunch break, so I though why not?" Angela replied, allowing Michael to move closer to her pregnant friend. "Besides, we haven't had a lot of girl time in a while. And besides, I think Michael should really spend more time with his future mother-in-law." she chuckled, taking a look at Brennan's amused face.
"Ange!" she exclaimed trying to hide a smile, "I'm six months pregnant, your son is only five months old, and you're already making plans for them to get married!" she shook her head and laughed. "I wonder what Booth would think..."
"Well, never mind that, I wanted to talk you about Booth." Angela said cutting to the chase. Brennan looked surprised, but allowed her friend to go on. "Is he excited about the baby? I mean, of course he is, but what did he say about having a little girl?"
Brennan looked at her quizzically, and then back to Michael, who had been fingering her bracelet. She took it off and allowed him to hold it in his chubby baby hands. "He actually said he knew we were going to have a girl, right from the beginning, which, of course is impossible."
"Right, Sweetie. But you are excited, aren't you?" Angela said, becoming a little more serious.
"Well, of course I am, Angela." Brennan replied, "I have wanted to have a child for quite a while now, and Booth is the father. And I love him. And I love our life now." she said solemnly.
"That's great, Bren!" Angela said, squeezing Brennan's hand. "So, have you guys thought about names?"
