"CLASH OF THE TITANS part 1" - THE TEEN TYRANTS ARE BACK AND THEY WANT REVENGE.
CLASH OF THE TITANS part 1
In a world belonging to the Team Titans there is a prison that resides on a small island a few miles off the coast of the city. In this prison there is a secruity guard, a plump fellow with long shaggy orange hair. He is a budding superhero (in his own personal opinion) and believes in truth, justice, and catching his evening television shows. He likes to call himself Remote Control, but today he calls himself Romeo, and as he walks down the maxium security corridor he took out his breath spray and sprayed his mouth twice... then he proceeded to spray his neck, chest, and underarms resulting in cloud to form that he swooshed away. He was going to have to smell good if he was going to impress his lady friend... that lady being Darkfire.
Remote Control placed his hand on the scanner that was placed by the steel door. Once authorization was granted the door moved up into the ceiling revealing a bar cell. In the cell was Darkfire stretched out on her bunk.
"I have breakfast," Remote Control announced as he bended down to place a tray of food on the floor. With one quick motion he pushed the tray forward, bypassing the opening in the bars and landing at the foot of Darkfire's bunk.
Darkfire smiled. "You're back. It's about time," she said as she stood up and moved to face the lovestruck guard. She held onto the bars with her hands. "The other guards have been most unpleasant. Where have you been?"
Looking to impress Remote Control flexed his muscles and told a small fib. "I've been... working out," he waggled his eyebrows when he said 'working' and grinned. She would never know he was out of town attending a movie convention.
Darkfire chuckled and turned her face away from him so he wouldn't see the disgusted look that look over her countence as she poked out her tongue. Regaining her composure she turned back to him, the smile back on her face. "Such a hard worker deserves a reward. On my planet we reward our fiercest warriors with a kiss."
Remote Control smiled, hearts floating above his head. "Really? That would be-" he paused, his budding superhero code coming to the surface. "Wait a minute. It's against the rules to get too close to your cell."
"Oh rules, rules, rules," Darkfire huffed. "Why must you follow them?"
"Because it's my job-"
"What harm could it possibly do? I've been locked in here for weeks without any sunlight. My powers are gone," she cocked her head to the side with an innocent look. "I'm completely harmless."
Remote Control blushed and giggled. "Well... maybe just this once."
As he stepped in front of the bars with a happy-go-lucky expression on his face he was completely unprepared for the hand that shot out to grab hold of his throat...
On the other side of the prison was Pink Raven, laying on her belly on the floor of her cell with her legs swingly idly in the air. She hummed as she drew pink birds on the floor with chalk. Unlike the rest of her team she was more easily detained just so long as she was kept happy. As she went on to add trees to her work of art her chalf broke in half.
Grumbling, Pink Raven stood up and walked to the front of her cell. "Guard... Guard!"
There was a pause and then a grunt and a thud. Then she heard footsteps... and then Darkfire appeared.
Darkfire twirled the club she had taken from the guard and placed her other hand on her hip. "Hello, Pink Raven. Missed me?"
Pink Raven cocked a brow. "That depends... Did you bring me a present?"
Darkfire held out the guards keys and Pink Raven grinned...
It didn't take long for the other prison guards to get wind that Darkfire was out, so she and Pink Raven were unsurprised when at least a dozen guards stepped into view.
"Surrender!" commanded one of the guards standing in the front of the group, his weapon drawn.
Darkfire narrowed her eyes. "We do not have time for this. Renegade and the others still need to be freed."
Pink Raven rubbed her hands together. "I'll finished them. One blast of dark magic coming up."
"No. I'll deal with them," Darkfire said. "Provide me with sunlight."
Pink Raven huffed. "Joy hog," she mumbled before disappearing into the ceiling.
"Hey, where'd she go?" asked one guard.
"I don't know, but we better not let that one escape," said the other guard, raising his weapon. The other guards followed his example.
Darkfire was unimpressed. "Three... Two... One..."
The ceiling collapsed causing debris to fall between the guards and Darkfire. In poured the sunlight, and as the dust settled the only thing the guards saw were a pair of glowing green eyes...
Beastling and Renegade sat in there cells, each in their own bunk. Neither was expecting the wall to their cell to be blown off.
Renegade hopped off of his top bunk immediately when Pink Raven and Darkfire came into view. "What took you so long?"
"My apologies," Darkfire said.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Beastling said. "Let's ditch this place!"
"Not yet," objected Renegade. "We have one more thing we need to do."
Pink Raven and Beastling looked at him in bewilderment...
The darkness was lifted and the world came into view for Cyberion. After being taken into custody Cyberion had been put offline and stored away in the lowest level of the prison to gather dust, but someone had turned the robot back on. He turned his head from side to side and discovered who that someone was. He wasn't surprised to discover his old teammates stood before him.
"We're breaking out," Renegade said.
Cyberion was not opposed to this, but he did have one question. "Where to?"
Renegade smirked. "To another world."
TT
In Titans Tower; as Robin and Cyborg went over upgrades for the tower in the kitchen, and as Raven read a new book, and as Starfire knitted a sweater for Silkie... Beast Boy danced to a new video game he had gotten. As the green teen shaked his lower half to an upbeat melody he came dangerous close to Raven who resided on the sofa. As his rear came into vision Raven could feel her temper rising.
Beast Boy, do you have to do that now?" she asked him.
"Of course I do. I have to get all the high scores before Cyborg gets his turn," Beast Boy explained.
"Yeah, Raven, let the green bean have his fun before I wipe the floor with him," Cyborg said while wearing a smug smirk.
Starfire lifted her head up from a struggling Silkie who did not like his new fuzzy purple sweater and turned her eyes to her boyfriend. "Robin, will you be particpating in this new game of dance?"
"Not really my thing, Star," he replied, eyes still focused on his work.
"But, Robin," Starfire began as she floated up to him, giving Silkie opportunity to escape. "Did you not play a game similar to this one at the arcade?"
By this time Robin had been waving his hands and shaking his head in a 'no' guesture, but he immediately stopped this and hung his head in embarrassment once he saw Cyborg's smirking face paired with Beast Boy's laughter who had stopped playing to listen in. Even Raven had a small smile.
Beast Boy and Cyborg were immediately by Robin's side, nudging him. Beast Boy was the first to attempt a jab. "Soooo, Robin-"
"Not. A. Word."
Beast Boy and Cyborg immediately backed off, but the metallic teen couldn't help himself. "Whatever you say... twinkle toes."
Beast Boy and Cyborg high fived each other and erupted into laughter. Robin had smoke coming out of his ears and raised his finger to make a response but was interrupted by the alarm.
Raven was by the monitor immediately. "It's Dr. Light. He's robbing a bank."
"You heard her Titans," Robin began with a voice of authority. "Go!"
TT
As the Titans arrived at the scene of the crime they discovered that Dr. Light had already made his escape just a few moments before their arrival.
Cyborg looked at the monitor in his arm. "I got a lock on the power source of Dr. Light's suit. He's not far," he announced, looking at his team.
"Then we can still catch him," Robin said, exiting the empty bank vault, his team following.
As they exited the bank, prepared to board the T-car, they were surprised to see a rather roughed up Dr. Light rushing towards him. The team prepared themselves; Robin had his birdarangs in hand, Raven and Starfire's hands glowed, Cyborg had his cannon aimed, and Beast Boy turned into a bull. They were shocked when Dr. Light stopped upon seeing them and screamed like a four year old girl.
The villain dropped to his knees. "Please, please don't hurt me!" he cried with tears flowing like a river out of his eyes. "I'm sorry! Just... just don't beat me anymore!"
The Titans' expressions were all the same; shocked eyes the size of dinner plates.
"Um... what?" was all Cyborg could say.
"Look, I even came to return the money. You see," Dr. Light said as he approached them all and placed a brown sack full of money in their hands. "Please, just... just let me go to jail now. Call off your friends and just let me go to jail!" Dr. Light said with one final sob.
The team looked at each other.
"Um... okay?" Robin said with a shrug.
Dr. Light's eyes sparkled with relief and he hugged the leader. "Oh, thank you! Thank you!"
Robin pulled away in confusion and was a little bit creeped out. He immediately handcuffed the villain and turned to Raven. "Right... Raven, transport him to the prison while we return what was stolen."
Raven nodded and transformed into her black raven form, taking Dr. Light with her and disappearing.
Once they were gone, the first to speak was Beast Boy. "That was..."
"Weird?" finished up Starfire.
He nodded. "Very."
"What did he mean by 'friends'?" Robin pondered outloud. "If any of the other Titans were coming into town I would have known about it."
Starfire clapped her hands in excitement. "Perhaps there are new heroes in the city. We can become their friends!"
Beast Boy nudged Cyborg and joked with him. "Or maybe we have clones running around town."
"That wouldn't be too much of a stretch," said a voice from above, a voice that was eeringly familiar to Beast Boy's...
The Titans spun around to view the owner of this voice, and they were shocked to see themselves from another universe.
Pink Raven placed a hand on her hip and smiled. "Missed us?"
Cyborg was the first to recover from his shock. "What are you guys doing in our universe?"
"We came to say hello," Pink Raven answered sweetly.
Starfire's eyes began to glow. "Then you have accomplished your task. Please leave."
"No can do, babe," Beastling replied. "You see we have unfinished business."
Robin's eyes shifted from left to right, taking in the sight of Darkfire, Cyberion, Beastling and Pink Raven. His maksed eyes narrowed slightly. "Where's Renegade."
"If I were you I would focus on those who are currently present," Darkfire snapped before unleasing her eyebeams.
Before the attack could hit Robin, Starfire jumped in the way, grabbing Robin and moving him out the way. Darkfire's eyebeams hit a nearby parked car, melting a hole through the back passenger doors.
"Looks like the fun has started," Pink Raven said before she hovered towards Starfire and Robin, Darkfire following her lead.
Using her powers, Pink Raven created a large claw to grab hold of Robin, separating him from Starfire. Realizing that her boyfriend had been plucked right out of her arms Starfire made a u-turn and headed in Pink Raven's direction but was tackled by Darkfire. The alien princess crashed into a building's wall, causing a small crater in it's side. Starfire glared at her other self.
Darkfire smirked. "Keep your attention on me."
As Pink Raven pulled Robin in closer she chuckled, thinking she had easily caught her next victim, however she was not expecting the smoke bomb that Robin threw. A cloud of smoke blurred not only her vision, but her concentration as well, causing her claw to disappear. When the smoke cleared Robin was gone along with it.
Pink Raven couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. "Looks like we're playing hide and seek."
As Pink Raven searched for Robin; Cyberion and Cyborg had engaged in hand to hand combat. Meanwhile Beast Boy had turned into a pterandon and dived in Beastling's direction. Beastling yawned in boredom at the upcoming attack, and once Beast Boy was close enough he jumped onto his back to ride him.
Beastling cheered and produced a cowboy's hat out of thin air. "Yee-haw!"
Trying to get the villain off of his back Beast Boy began to fly in loops, taking daring twist and turns that would have thrown a normal person off his back. Unfortunately Beastling was not a normal person. He struck Beast Boy on the head, hard enough to knock him unconscious, and as they fell towards the ground Beastling jumped off and safely landed on a flag pole as Beast Boy crashed into the ground.
It was during this moment that Raven's portal appeared and she stepped onto the scene. "Dr. Light's behind bars. He said something about a team that looked similar to-" she paused, shocked to see Beast Boy face down on the ground. She ran towards him, her arm outstretched. "Beast-Ugh!"
Having only been focusing on Beast Boy, Raven did not notice the battle Cyborg was in. Therefore, she did not notice the upperhand Cyberion had gotton on him, or when Cyberion had lifted up her friend and tossed him like a sack of potatoes. However she was aware of Cyborg the moment his body was thrown into her, knocking her down as the metallic teen's body pinned her to the floor and causing her to hit her head, causing her to slip into unconsciousness...
Robin skillfully kept his eyes on Pink Raven from his position in the alleyway. In his hand was an exploding disc just itching to be thrown.
On the sidewalk Pink Raven poked her head into the oddest of places in search of Robin; the hood of a car, a trash can, a paper bag... but found nothing. She huffed and stomped her foot. "Ugh, where is he?" she pondered outloud as she scratched her head, distracted.
Seeing his window of opportunity Robin wasted no time and threw his disc. As it neared Pink Raven, Robin was upset to see her disappear into the ground, his disc passing through thin air... Suddenly he felt a presence behind him.
Pink Raven smirked as she stood behind Robin. "Boo."
... Seconds later Robin was seen being thrown out of the alley in a flash of black energy. His body skipped across the concrete like a stone across the water until he finally hit a fire hydrant where he passed out. It was after this that Starfire fell from the sky and landed on the roof of a car, caving it in. As she struggled to lift herself up a shower of starbolts from Darkfire rained down upon her. Darkfire halted her attack once her feet touched the ground. She took a step forward in Starfire's direction, her arm drawn up and her fist glowing just incase. Darkfire narrowed her eyes upon seeing Starfire's arm lift up. Darkfire was seconds away from attacking once more, but stopped herself when Starfire's arm went limp.
Pink Raven did a twirl in triumpth. "We won," she gloated, coming to a stop. She pointed a finger at Robin, pretending as if she was ready to fire. "Now let's finish them off."
Cyberion blocked her line of fire. "No. Those were not our orders. We were told to distract them."
"And distract them we did," added in Darkfire. "Now it is time to leave."
Pink Raven pouted and seeing this, Beastling nudged her. "Cheer up, Pinky. The real fun hasn't even started yet."
Pink Raven perked up and grinned at his words, and soon she, along with her teammates, disappeared... leaving Robin and the others spread out across the street defeated.
TT
The T-car was awfully quiet as the smell of defeat still lingered in the air. There was mixed emotions coming from each of the Titans; confusion as to how the Tyrants came to their world, embarrassment at how easily defeated they were, anger for not being able to protect themself or the team, shame for not being able to do more, and determination to meet their enemies on the battlefield again. The urge to confront the Tyrants broke the silence that had been plaguing the T-car and they began to toss out ideas on what to do.
"Perhaps we should ask the other Titan teams for help," suggested Starfire from the back seat.
"We can't do that," Beast Boy snapped irritably, crossing his arms and looking out the window of the front passenger seat. "It would make us look weak."
"But there are strength in numbers," Raven stated.
"Before we do anything we need to figure out a way to send them back to their universe," Robin said. "Cyborg, can you come up with something?"
"I'm sure I can come up with something," Cyborg answered. "It might take some time though."
"Time is a luxury we don't have," Robin mumbled, turning to look out the window just in time to see that they were nearing the tower...
The Titans entered the darkened tower still in discussion about how to handle the Tyrants.
"STAR labs have recently been looking into the theory of the multiverse. They should have some notes that could be useful," Cyborg told Robin.
As Cyborg, Robin and Starfire walked ahead into the darkened hall, Raven paused with a frown suddenly feeling strange. Beast Boy came to her side.
"Is something wrong?"
"... I'm not certain, but I-"
Raven's sentence was cut off by a loud gasp emitted from Starfire/
"Silkie!" Starfire immediately rushed to the overgrown bug's side and was horrified to find her precious bumgorf tied down with duck tape. She immediately got to work on setting him free and when she ripped the last piece of tape off, which happened to be covering his mouth, she pulled him into a hug. "Oh! My little bumgorf, who could have done this to you?"
Silkie's response was to cough up a paper ball which landed on the floor in front of Cyborg and Beast Boy. The two boys cringed and both had the same response: "Ew!"
Curious, Starfire picked up the wet paper ball and straightened it out. Cyborg and Beast Boy both said "Ew!", turned green (greener in Beast Boy's case), and fainted on the floor with their legs sticking up in the air.
Starfire raised a brow and showed Robin the paper. "Robin, what is this?"
Robin took the paper from Starfire's hand and read it outloud. "Hope you like the surprise I left you. Farewell. R."
"Who's R?" Beast Boy inquired.
It was at that moment the lights turned on and the Titans knew what their surprise was. The walls of Titans tower was laced with bombs.
Cyborg's human eye widened. "Oh no..."

In Jump City the sun was setting and the citizens were going about their own business. The ice cream man had just gotten another customer, a mother was buying a balloon for her son, and a young man was riding his bike. The air carried a carefree attitude with it as it blew, and despite the villains and crimes that may have taken place today, the citizens were carefree. They had their guardian angels; the Teen Titans. They felt safer with just one glance at that giant T overlooking the city and they felt hopeful that tomorrow, even if there was a robbery or a superpowered villain that their guardians would come to their aid and all would be carefree again. Unfortunately for the citizens of Jump City they were in for the shock of their lives.
Jump City carefree mood was interupted with a frightening booming sound that caused the ice cream man to drop the cone belonging to customer, that caused the son to let go of his balloon, and that caused the bike rider to loose his balance. It shook the entire city.
The sound came from Titans tower... and was followed up with it's collapse.
The citizens crowded the streets, their eyes wide and their jaws dropped as the tower belonging to the Titans went up in flames and smoke. Before anyone could voice their shock and confusion their attention was diverted to a teenage boy dressed in black and grey. He stood on top of a black platform being created by a girl in pink. Behind them was a ferral green boy, a robot, and a orange skinned girl dressed in black. The boy in grey and black smirked as he addressed the crowd.
"Hello, everyone. My name is Renegade. These are my friends," he said, gesturing to the others who stood behind him, sharing his wicked expression. "We call ourselves the Teen Tyrants... This city belongs to us now. And trust me, it's not up for debate."
