Crazy Witchy story

It was two weeks later when Will was released, the doctors keeping her an extra two days for observation after her concussion had healed. They were amazed, it usually took a month or so for a minor concussion to heal but for a medium concussion like Will's to heal in a mere week and a half was completely unheard of before!

"Honestly! I'm fine!" Will said torn between amusement and disbelief when Halinor insisted on helping the girl around school and town due to the four breaks in her one of leg bones from hitting the side of the pier so hard. Right now Will had to use a crutch to get around with her leg in a neon green cast and it was her first day back to school after the attack. She would usually have to use two crutches instead of one but her left arm was also broken in three places so it was also in a cast… Damn did her luck suck.

"I'm a licensed PT and an aide, and I see you as a granddaughter I never had. I am helping you whether you like it or not. Kandrakar hasn't had anything of interest happen in years besides you girls being appointed as Guardians that is, they don't need me there and won't realize I'm gone for a while anyways, and Katherine had no objections to me coming onto school property to help you. Face it there's no way you're getting rid of me or talking me out of this, Will." Halinor said calmly in return as she carried the girls book bag for her after gently helping her out of the car.

"Woah. How'd you get that badly beat up?" Uriah asked as he and his goons stared at Will wide eyed, they knew she had been in the hospital but for her to be that badly damaged…

"Some idiot tried to attack my mom at the pier…I got him about as bad as he got me considering I managed to electrocute him. Shame he survived." Will said with a rare cruel grin crossing her face, causing Clubber and Kurt to gulp audibly while Uriah backed up a step scared. Will was damn scary when she wanted to be.

"Yes but I'm sure he'll think twice about attacking you or your mother now Will…especially after your mom got done with him." Halinor said smirking and causing Will's cruel grin to widen slightly in amusement.

"It was. She kicked his butt so hard I think he is twice as bad off as me now." Will said grinning as she used her one good arm to manipulate her crutch and wobble away from the car Halinor had bought a few days ago.

"There you are Halinor! Will! I was looking for you, Will. I wanted to let you know that you're not allowed to participate in gym class or on the swim team until your arm and leg are fully healed." Knickerbocker said walking up to the two girls who smiled at her, although Will pouted at this news.

"Aw come on! I bet I can still kick the others butts in gym class at least." Will said pouting at Knickerbocker who laughed at this.

"I'm sure you can too, however doing so might strain your current and recently healed injuries. Therefore no gym class for you…unless you want Halinor to fill in as your replacement in that class till your ribs, leg, and arm are healed." Knickerbocker said with a nod before grinning as she made the offer. She knew how good Halinor was at gym class back when they were in school…and if that beat-down she gave one guy yesterday when he made fun of Will's injuries was any indication she had certainly maintained her physical fitness over the years. Will snickered slightly, it would be funny to see the arrogant boys in that class get their butts handed to them by Halinor.

"Only if Halinor wants to do it." Will said with a snicker and shrug while Halinor grinned, this would be fun.

"Count me in." Halinor said causing the three bad boys of the campus to stare in disbelief and slight worry. If both Will and Principal Knickerbocker vouched for this woman…they had better be wary. Especially since Will could knock out any guy in class with a single punch. That girl had one mean right hook…

"D-Do you want us to carry your books or something to class Will?" Uriah asked eyeing the blond warily and causing Knickerbocker to look at the boys in disbelief when Clubber and Kurt voiced their questions as well.

"Nah. I'd be carrying them myself but Halinor won't let me." Will said glaring slightly at Halinor who gave her an amused look.

"You have a leg broken in four places and an arm also broken in three different places and you still want to try to do things like carry your forty pound book bag around. Not only is it not good for your healing injuries but your mother would kill me if I let you do something that reckless!" Halinor said flatly as she looked at the red head who pouted at this while the 'bad boys' gaped at this in disbelief.

"I still maintain that the only reason he managed to break my bones is cause of that metal pipe he hit me with! I had him dead to rights before he grabbed it!" Will said pouting while the 'bad boys' gulped as they backed away before turning tail and taking off. They needed to let everyone know that Will was not someone you wanted to piss off…and neither was the blond woman accompanying her.

"Huh I hadn't seen them run that fast before. Wonder what made them run like that." Will said staring after Uriah and his goons in honest confusion. Halinor and Knickerbocker exchanged amused and slightly exasperated glances over Will's head before Halinor and Knickerbocker began to escort the red head to class, which distracted her quite easily.

"I can walk on my own thank you!" She said pouting at them as she hobbled on ahead in order to keep Halinor from picking her up and literally carrying her. The blond had done it before and didn't even break a sweat at Will's weight with the casts added! The two school friends exchanged amused and fondly exasperated looks as they walked after Will. Halinor was the one to say what they both were thinking.

"She's definitely Nerissas' kid alright. She's just as stubborn as Rissa is."
