Crazy Witchy story

"That's how I got injured. Any questions?" Will asked after explaining to her homeroom class the cover story for her being so injured. She noticed one of the jokers in the class open his mouth and she glared.

"Any that don't make me want to flatten the idiot asking?" She amended causing him to gulp and close his mouth while the rest of the class snickered.

"I got one! Who's the hot lady behind you?" One guy asked looking at Halinor who merely smiled kindly at the class. Will and Taranee snorted at what the guy called Halinor, they couldn't wait to see his and the other drooling boys reaction when they found out how old the blond woman was since apparently they thought she was rather young. Not that the two could blame them for the misconception since Halinor looked maybe thirty five, and that w's pushing it even when they had a god guess of how old she really was.

"My name is Halinor, I'm a friend of Katherine… that's principal Knickerbocker to you all in case you don't know, and I know Will's mom Susan. Since I'm a licensed Physical Therapist and aide, not to mention I have a lot of spare time, I volunteered to stay with Will to make sure she's not straining her injuries…which she most certainly would." Halinor said giving Will an amused look while the red head merely grumbled under her breath with a pout on her face.

"Kicking their butts in gym class wouldn't cause any strain. I only need one good arm for that and I've got one good arm." Will muttered loudly and causing the class to gulp while Halinor merely giggled.

"Perhaps so but your other arm is broken in no less than three places." Halinor said dryly to the red head who pouted at this while many gaped.

"I don't even need to use it unless I want to really humiliate someone!" Will retorted pouting at Halinor who gave a small chuckle at this.

"And someone would piss you off enough you'd actually hurt yourself worse getting back at them." Halinor said as if merely finishing Will's sentence.

"Don't worry so much Halinor! Anyone try to mess with Will right now is an idiot that I will happily light on fire." Taranee, the only one of the girls actually in Will's first block class, said in a cheerful voice that belied her threat. Will and Halinor smiled slightly when they both heard the telepathic agreements from the other three younger Guardians.

"That's if you get to them before I do you mean. You're not the only one able to light people on fire after all." Halinor cheerfully agreed with the new fire guardian, smirking when the students closest to her inched away ever so slightly.

"You two are far too overprotective." Will said flatly to the two pyromaniacs who both snorted at this.

"Hark who's talking! You electrocuted a guy for attacking your mom at the pier Light Bright!" Taranee said causing the class to gulp at the scowl on Will's face at this.

"The rat bastard had it coming Candle! He didn't just attack my mom he also nearly ran Irma mom off the road, nearly broke into Lillian's room, almost blew the head off of Peter, and just about gave Yan-lin a heart attack before attacking my mom. The bastard only got away alive because he grabbed that pipe and nearly brained me with it at the last second!" Will snarled causing everyone but the two Guardians in the room to gulp audibly and look at her in a lot of fear, visibly moving away from the red head who seemed to have lightning coursing through her hair and dancing in her eyes.

"Yes you're definitely Thunder Queens kid. She reacted the same way when someone went after not just her family but also mine, Kadma's, Cassidy's, Yan-lins and even Katherine's families. The only difference is that she didn't get knocked into a support beam on the pier and then thrown into the water below after getting whacked with a pipe." Halinor said shaking her head while everyone gulped, looks like the violence ran in the family.

"Really?" Will asked looking curiously up at the blond woman who smiled at her and nodded.

"Yes, it was about two months before Cassidy's death. Nerissa was not happy when the guy sent Cassidy to the hospital as well as attacking the rest of us and our families. If I recall correctly, Thunder Queen gave the guy a broken nose, seven broken ribs, a sprained wrist, a twisted ankle, both of his shoulders were dislocated, and she had broken both of his knee bones beyond repair. The only reason she didn't kill him is because the rest of us talked her out of it and cause Cassidy woke up from her comatose state and calmed her down." Halinor said causing everyone but Will to gape at this.

"Wow… go mom." Will said grinning and causing Halinor to giggle slightly.

"I'll tell you more about your mom's exploits back when she was your age later Will. Right now it's about time for your class to start isn't it?" Halinor asked causing Will to grin before pouting.

"Yes grandma." Will said pouting at the older woman who merely smiled at the title, she liked it when Will called her grandma.

"Aren't you upset with her for calling you her grandma?" One guy asked looking Halinor up and down appreciatively while Halinor merely smiled.

"Why would I be? While she's not my granddaughter by blood she's the closest I'll ever get to having one of my own so naturally I don't mind. It helps that I'm literally old enough to be her grandmother." Halinor said causing everyone but Will and Taranee to stare at her shocked for a minute.

"Y-You're old enough to be her grandmother? You don't look a day over thirty!" One of the guys who had been drooling over Halinor said shocked while Halinor giggled again.

"Why thank you for saying so but I'm well over thirty, child. I went to school with Yan-lin and Katherine after all, but I'm about two years younger than them since I skipped a grade or two." Halinor said causing many jaws to drop open at this Knickerbocker, who had been standing at the door quietly up until now, laughed at this.

"I don't blame them for being shocked! If I hadn't gone to school with you myself I wouldn't know you were near my age either, Fire Princess." Knickerbocker said snickering in amusement. Her next comment caused Halinor to blush darkly while Will and Taranee busted up laughing at the look on Halinors face.
"You have barely, and I stress the barely, aged a day since Cassidy and Nerissa locked you and Kadma into a supply closet back in our senior year!"
