Emma and Killian were lucky to both enjoy walking around the park during lightly snowing days. The few cherry blossom trees planted there allowed a light pink glow from the sun above them to peek out, a photo-worthy image to behold. Their laughing could be heard closely by a sleepy elderly couple on the bench nearby. The two seemed to stop in place while talking as the old woman opened one eye curiously to find the noise.

What she saw brought a warm feeling to her heart, opening her other eye to look at them yet poke her husband vigorously and whisper his name repeatedly to get his attention at the same time. His loud, erratic snoring stopped shortly, eyes popping out of his head in anger, ready to beat up anyone who just woke him up. And then he saw his wife and huffed hotly. "Do you always have to wake me up at the worst time, Ellie?!"

She giggled childishly, punching him lightly jokingly. "Oh, come on, Carl. Don't be such a KJ." He raised an eyebrow in reply.

"KJ?"

"You're so late in the modern world, aren't you?" Ellie huffed superiorly. "Killjoy."

"And I was supposed to know that how?" Carl huffed to himself. He looked to her to find her pointing to a man and woman walking down the street, laughing and joking to each other, touching each other lightly without a care. She sighed admirably. He felt her leaning her head on his shoulder, him leaning his back on hers, an unbroken habit. Ellie spoke softly. "Doesn't this remind you of something?"

He sighed mockingly. "That awful movie you showed me last night? The Pencil? Or was it about an eraser?"

"Shut up! It was a great movie! Now be serious."

"Ah, alright, alright. Erm... December, 1958?" Ellie laughed and nodded. She looked back and forth between her husband and the people. "Correct. They look... happy, together. Hey, do you think they're going out?"

"Not likely," A voice behind them murmured disappointedly. "Scaredy-cats."

The couple turned around to see a tired trio of people behind them. They looked like they knew them, or at least seen them before, anyway. Carl grumbled grumpily. "What do you folks want?"

Ellie nudged his shoulder furiously, looking to the group of people with a smile, embarrassed by her husband. "Sorry about him. I just woke him up from a dream of unicorns and cupcakes." They laughed. She held out her hand, smiling. "I'm Ellie, my husband over here is Carl."

"Sorry, nice to meet you." His voice was rough, eyes staring into the concrete, though he genuinely seemed to be sorry. He also reached his hand out, to which they shook forgivingly.

"I'm Elsa," the blond one spoke up. She pointed to her other two friends. "That's Ariel. She's a peppy one." The redhead smiled widely, waving. The other woman looked away embarrassedly. She didn't like meeting new people for some strange reason. "And that over there is Regina. Pretty shy but feisty when she needs to be." She really hoped that jab wouldn't get her five feet under, for future's sake.

Carl looked back to the two, now collecting some falling leaves and cherry blossoms. The man found one, putting one in the woman's hair, adorably nervous while doing so. "So are you sure they aren't-?"

"Nah. Those two idiots are Killian and Emma. Not dating at all. Ever since they kissed for a crazy dare for New Years, they've been acting crazy small." Regina replied, cutting him off. "Though they always hang out with each other, they seem like they're resisting. Like there's something they'd rather do and that that day was such a big deal."

"Is there anything we can do?" Ellie asked. "We could give 'em one of those 'old person tells a story, thinking that they're a couple' conversations, and maybe shift their drift if you like?" Ariel pondered on that. "That could work..." Elsa sighed. "No it won't. Too fricking stubborn to EVER make a move. If they don't before they're forty, i'm going to kill them. Either that and lock them in a room together forever until they, you know, do something."

"Not a bad idea," Carl spoke. They laughed, but he looked at Ellie and saw too many mistakes he made. He didn't want the same to happen to those two, despite never meeting them. Everyone deserved a happy ending. She had the same sad look as his. "But in all seriousness... advise them to do it before it's too late."

"Will do," Elsa nodded assertively. "Swear. Now, you two have a nice day."

"You too. And give us updates on those two scoundrels, mmm'kay?"

"Certainly."

They watched their figures disappear, waving along. Ellie lay her head back down on the hard wooden bench, turning slowly to find the two people. As the woman chattered excitedly to him, the man stared at her in such a way so similar to the way Ellie and Carl did. They were funny, stupid, lovesick fools.

But then again, isn't everyone?
