REVIEWS:
AllenWalkerXTrainHeartnet: Wow! I loved it. I wonder what will happen next like how L.L and C.C are going to react. Also will Euphie reunite with L.L or Lelouch I am guessing. Please update soon it's so good.
Reply: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you (and I quote) "[…] loved it." I'm pretty sure their reactions were quite standard but I really can't think of another way of putting it. I mean I would want to do what they had done too! I believe the question is, does Euphie even know L.L. exists? And they will meet though Euphemia will be quite…shocked. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just can't wait for the future chapters!
ZZ960107: Why every time I read Euphie' name I have a bad head ache. Any way Suzaku returned to Lulu.
Reply: Zizi! Darling~ how are you? I'm good! XD yeah, even I get annoyed by Euphie. Suzaku's reckless actions are chivalrous, awesome, and well with good intention. Euphie's reckless behavior just annoys me. I mean I like her as an anime character but I can't say that I was exactly sad when she died. The only reason I cried was because Suzaku was bawling his eyes out. (To anyone who reads this reply, I hope your opinion of me doesn't change very much. I'm just not very big about Euphemia li Britannia. I feel like, to a certain degree, Code Geass ended the way it did because of her naïve dream about an Administrated Zone of Japan.)
SailorKickass270: SUZAKUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU IS BACK! By the way, I'm sorry I missed the last chapter to review v_v It's nice to know that you care though! and I wonder if I'm late but I may know who Infinite is…PLOT TWIST! .. but finally. I was so confused at first xD and oh my gosh! ...Continued Story (I think that's the one, or it may be Stories...I'm not really sure o_o) back in chapter 5...that song brought back so many memories! My eyes got watery reading that! T_T I don't wanna strangle you though. That's how I am! I don't usually leave cliffies on purpose; I'm usually tired and can't think of a closer spot to end it. But anyway, update soon! :D
Reply: Its fine, we all miss appointments at some point in our lives. At least you got this one! Yes, I think you are very late in knowing who Infinite is. I'm pretty sure people had some idea of who Infinite was since the second chapter. XD Plot twist? I seriously need to find out the definition of plot twist. ;) Yup! That was continued stories! It will most likely come up at the end of this R1 and the beginning of my version of R2. Yeah, getting tired is usually the reason for me!
LeAwesomeOne IX: I'm reviewing when I should be sleeping. Sorry for the late review. And I still haven't read Code Wolf. But I'll have to sleep first, and I'll read it after attending the pit known as hell (or school). :/ great chapter, I didn't notice the whole physic Lulu thing, what episode is it in?
Update!
Reply: Its fine, you reviewed so everything's good! Yes, I know of that pit. It is a hellishly dark place. I'm surprised that anyone has made it back home alive. It is in episode…episode…5! Yeah that's the one! It is at near the very end of Episode 5! Lelouch practically tells the entire situation by his chess pieces! It's so weird…he's psychic!
Crazy anko: I'm sick and weak. It's just my illness decided to play with me for a while. I'm still trying to drive out them. The hell! Why you stop it!? By the way, Happy new year. 明けましておめでとうございます。色々なこと、ありがとうございました。今年もよろしくおねがいします
Reply: O.O you can type Japanese!? WTF! I stopped because I was tired! (And I wanted to make it more dramatic and have you guys begging for more. *demon horns appear*)
Codegeasslover6: I wonder what C.C and L.L are going to do?
Reply: …spoiler….sorry for cutting out the last part of your review but I couldn't have you spoiling the beginning of the chapter now can I? And yes, C.C. does do that! XD Hope you enjoy!

New Student
The entire class stayed quiet as they waited for something to happen. And something did happen.
"Su-Suzaku?" C.C. said tentively as she slowly got up. Everyone quickly noticed that Suzaku was staring at the green haired girl in surprise.
"C.C.?" At the sound of her name, the yellow eyed girl quickly moved towards the middle aisle and ran down it; nearly tripping over her own feet.
"Suzaku!" C.C. yelled when she jumped into the air and into Suzaku's readied arms. As she cried and smiled into the brunette's shoulder, the rest of the class got a glimpse of her white, lacy panties. Most of the boys had blushes on their faces from the quick look that she had given them and because they had never really noticed just how attractive C.C. was. Especially when she was genuinely smiling. "Suzaku, we missed you!" the crying girl practically yelled. When she pulled back, Suzaku had his hands on her waist and a small smile on his face.
"It's good to see you too, C.C." At this, C.C. squealed and quickly wrapped him in a bear hug once more. The majority of the class looked and felt a bit awkward, like they had intruded upon something they shouldn't have. The rest watched with disdain as the Eleven continued to make friendly contact with a Britannian. Though that was forgotten when they started to see someone else step into the aisle. The murmurs that had started quickly got silenced as they watched L.L. walk towards the front of the class. When he was nearly right in front of the other two Kururugis, the purple eyed Britannian stopped.
"Move, C.C."
The girl quickly did as she was told but made sure to stay within arm's reach. Which was a good idea on her part since L.L. decided that it would be a good idea to try and hit Suzaku with the class textbook.
"YOU STUPID KURURUGI!"
Suzaku, using the (almost) supernatural speed he had learned to control in the military, quickly moved his face just out of reach as L.L. wildly swung his arms. Before he could take another swipe, C.C. quickly wrapped her arms around L.L.'s chest and started to drag him back while Suzaku continued to stare at his love with wide eyes and an open mouth.
"Damnit C.C.! Let me go so I can knock some god damn sense into The Idiot!" To everyone else's surprise, the green haired Kururugi placed herself firmly in front of the raging boy and fixed him with her hardest glare.
"That's enough! Now go outside and calm down!" L.L. immediately stopped and stayed staring at the girl he had practically raised. He tried fighting back with a glare of his own but his emotional instability was taking a number on him so he scowled and dragged his feet out the door. Then, with a smile so bright it nearly blinded the other students, C.C. turned back towards Suzaku.
"Wh-wh-why did he…?" C.C. merely grabbed his arm and began to drag the brunette out the door.
"He's just being a drama queen. I'm sure he missed you too! Now come on." Suzaku then realized that he was leaving his first class in his new school on his very first day.
"Hey! C.C.! But what about class!?"
C.C. laughed it off. "It's not like they need us for their brains to function! I'm sure they can survive without us." The door closed before Suzaku could say another word.
As the rest of the classroom broke out in full blown chatter, Schneizel realized that he had broken his pencil in half.
Oh my, how did this happen?
…
Suzaku continued to walk up the dark flight of stairs as his eyes tried to adjust to the dim lighting. "Hey, C.C., where are we going?" He only received a giggle from the girl he had practically fathered. Finally, they reached the very top and C.C. burst through the door.
"We're here!" The two expertly dodged the textbook that was lazily thrown at them.
"Go away; I'm not in the mood." C.C. walked towards L.L. with a small pout on her lips.
"Why exactly are you mad about? I think we have a reason to celebrate!" L.L. rolled his eyes before turning back to the view before him.
"Tell The Idiot that I don't want to see him." C.C. let her expression melt into an irritated one before stomping the rest of the distance between her and the black-haired boy. Suzaku stood there with a stupefied look on his face as C.C. grabbed L.L. by his nearly camouflaged ear and dragged him over. Yelling and in pain, L.L. had no choice but to follow the green haired girl. When they were close enough, C.C. let go of the purple eyed boy's ear and literally pushed him into the brunette's surprised arms. There was a pause where L.L. looked at Suzaku, Suzaku looked at L.L., and C.C. simply watched and waited for some fireworks to happen. After the pause, L.L. tried to remove himself from Suzaku's personal space but was quickly surprised to find that Suzaku didn't want him to leave if the arms wrapping themselves around him had anything to say about it.
"I missed you, L.L. Please. Tell me why you're mad."
L.L. felt his resolve to stay angry at the green eyed boy melt away and he finally wrapped his arms around the other boy in a heartfelt hug. "You idiot! Why didn't you try contacting us! We thought you were dead! Poor C.C. cried herself to sleep every night! She couldn't eat properly! She was practically a bag of bones, you bastard!" L.L. either did not hear or chose not to hear C.C. say something along the lines of "That was you, L.L." But Suzaku did catch her and it only caused him to hug the black haired boy even harder.
"I'm sorry that I made you and C.C. worry. But…L.L…" The Britannian boy pulled back slightly, trying to push back the tears that wanted to fall from the eyes that held them back for so long.
"What is it, Suzaku?"
The brunette gave L.L. the first true smile he had the pleasure of making in seven years.
"I kept my promise! I came back, didn't I?" L.L. stared back with glazed eyes as he recalled some of his fondest memories. "Oh, don't cry L.L.! I promise not to ever leave you and C.C. alone! Ever! And—and even if I do, then it will be only for a short while! I'll always come back! I promise L.L., so—so don't cry. Even when I'm not with you, I'll still be there with…you? No that doesn't sound right…hey! Don't laugh at me!"
"Do you remember that promise I made you? Well, I'm gonna keep it. I'll see you and C.C. again. Maybe in a few weeks or months or maybe a year but I'll see you again."
"I love you, L.L. You and C.C. Both of you guys are my family now and as the daddy I'll make sure to find you guys and then, when we're old enough, we'll all live together."
"L.L.! Are you listening to me!?"
L.L. physically shook his head. "I'm sorry, but what were you saying?"
Suzaku smiled back. "I'm asking why you are you crying?" L.L.'s eyes widened comically and he brought a hand up to his face. Suzaku's tan hand met his pale one near the tear stained face and they both jumped at the small electric shock they both got.
L.L. then felt a genuine smile light up his face before tilting it to the side. "Oh, I was just thinking about some Sakura trees." Suzaku then realized just how completely…edible L.L. looked. He felt himself slowly lean in and, in the back of his mind, he also realized that L.L. was leaning towards him as well. Just when they were a few inches apart, the two heard a choked cough coming from somewhere towards their left. When they looked, they found C.C. red faced and trying to hold in her giggles. When they turned back, they noticed just how close they were and practically pushed the one other away.
"Um, I'm sorry L.L. I guess I wasn't thinking," Suzaku said as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
L.L. merely shook his head and let a smile fall on his face. "It's fine—I mean! It was my fault too! And I should have been thinking about how you might have felt after all these years! I mean…you did think about us from time to time…right?" Suzaku felt his gaze soften into a caring expression.
"Everyday. I would remember all the times C.C. and I would play ball and whenever we would find some place to settle down for the night. And when we had first met…and…stuff…" Suzaku said with a blush heating up his face. L.L. didn't understand what Suzaku was so embarrassed about and merely shrugged it off.
"Anyways, what happened at your court martial? And how were you able to enroll at this school?" Suzaku's eyes widened in childish delight.
"I'm as surprised as you two are! What are the odds that we'd end up at the same school?" C.C. shrugged and took a step closer to them.
"If we had known about your attendance, then we would have found a way to get your classes to match up with ours." Suzaku shook his head.
"It's fine, we wouldn't want the other students to start being even more suspicious as it is," Suzaku stayed silent for a moment before continuing. "Truth is, someone arranged for me to receive a proper investigation. And that person said that a seventeen year old should be in school."
…
In a room full of beautiful paintings, Euphemia li Britannia stood before a wall that had held the best of the bunch.
"Were all of these painted by Clovis?" she asked lightly, not wanting to scare the steward like Cornelia had.
"Yes," said the man dutifully. The pink haired princess lightly touched a picture. It was one of Empress Marianne and her daughter, Euphie's half-sister, Nunnally.
"Such gentle colors; very much akin to my brother…" she then let out a small dainty sneeze.
Huh...I wonder…is Suzaku thinking about me? Thought the princess as she pulled out a pink handkerchief and dabbed at her now running nose.
…
Suzaku then looked up towards the C.C. and L.L. with curiosity. "By the way, what happened to the guy in the straightjacket? The one that had knocked you down." Suzaku immediately noticed how both Britannians became silent and their faces pale. L.L. had to push back the memory of the dead soldiers away from his mind.
"We, uh…got separated in the fray. He saved us by drawing the fire away. It's thanks to him we even made it out alive." C.C. then looked at the purple eyed boy from the corner of her eyes; not commenting on the fact that the stranger had gotten killed while trying to save them or how the black haired Britannian killed the terrorist with just a command. L.L. in turn left out the fact that he had seen the crazy peach haired man a few days ago…dancing…in the quad…just a few yards away from Schneizel and Kallen; he hadn't even told C.C. about that incident and didn't plan to. L.L., wanting to get away from the topic of the strange man, thought up of a "great" new topic. "So, Suzaku," L.L. said in a rather dangerous voice. "How and why did you enter the military?" Suzaku felt liquid fear pour into his veins as he watched Lelouch's face twist into an evil smile.
"W-w-well…you see…umm…" Thankfully, C.C. seemed to take pity on the poor soldier.
"L.L., I think we should at least pick up our stuff before someone decides to mess with them." L.L. continued to stare down at a tense Suzaku before letting out a sigh and nodding.
"That would probably be for the best. I think we should check the student council room before heading home." Suzaku watched in surprise as C.C. nodded and began to walk towards the stairs. L.L. fell into step with Suzaku and saw his confused look. "What's wrong?"
Suzaku slightly tilted his head to the side in a rather cute way. "We left our stuff in the first classroom, so why are we heading over to the student council room?"
L.L. felt a smile play on his lips. "Well, for one thing, we're part of the student council so we're more than welcome to go in there and the other reason is because I believe that Schneizel is considerate enough to have moved our stuff to the student council room so that problems won't arise."
L.L. was quite surprised when Suzaku caught only one thing. "You're part of the student council!?" C.C. then turned to face them while walking backwards.
"Yup! We both are! In fact, L.L. is the Vice President! It's kinda funny how they all act around each other!" C.C. said with a wide happy smile.
L.L. nodded before looking ahead with a smile of his own playing on his lips. "They are quite the lively bunch. I think you would like them. We'll probably introduce them to you later, though." Suzaku immediately noticed that, deep down, both C.C. and L.L. truly cared about this student council.
Suzaku smiled towards the two. "I can't wait to meet them, then!" The trio then reached the entrance hall of the high school building when the bell rang. They were quickly surrounded by students trying to get to their next class or ditch school. Though L.L. and C.C. ignored the whispers and avoidance, Suzaku couldn't help but notice this. He especially kept hearing whispers about L.L. and C.C. which in turn made the brunette feel extremely uncomfortable. When they were finally across the lawn and in front of the student council building, the Japanese boy let out a small sigh of relief. He then felt his mouth fall open in surprise as the door opened to a room that reminded him of a ballroom.
"Come on, the student council room is this way!" Suzaku let out a chuckle as C.C. grabbed his arm and began to drag him down a hallway. Suzaku kept looking around at his surroundings in awe while L.L. walked behind them with a smile of amusement. The green eyed boy nearly tripped over his own feet when C.C. came to a stop in front of a door.
"Here we are!" she said just as the door slid open and stopped the conversation inside.
"-think about it, I mean-" Shirley and Rivalz looked mildly guilty while Schneizel pretended to look bored.
"Sorry to burst in like this," L.L. said as he walked in calmly, "We just came to get our stuff and then we'll be out of your hair." The amethyst eyed Britannian turned towards the blank faced Schneizel. "Where'd you leave our stuff, Schneizel?"
Schneizel in question nodded towards the corner of the room. "I also took the liberty of picking up Suzaku's and bringing it here. I hope you don't mind." The last part was directed towards Suzaku who looked as if he was about to panic.
"Oh! No! Thank you for your consideration, um…Schneizel was it?" The blonde merely nodded before returning back to his portion of paperwork. During that exchange, L.L. and C.C. had walked to the corner and gotten their stuff. L.L. then handed Suzaku his school bag.
"Here, now we can go." Before he was completely out the door, the dark haired boy looked over his shoulder and towards Schneizel. "Thank you, Schneizel."
As the door closed, Schneizel, Rivalz and Shirley could hear as C.C. spoke ecstatically about how "awesome" life was going to be.
…
"So, welcome to our home," L.L. said as he led them through a rather large door in the East Wing of the building.
Suzaku stared at the small dining room in awe. "So this is where you live? Wait, why don't you guys live in the dorms like everyone else?" he said as he looked at them with confusion written on his face. L.L. turned to smirk at C.C. before walking to the head seat of the table and sitting down. He gestured to the other seats before speaking.
"Well, around three years after you left…we were adopted by a man named Ruben Ashford." Suzaku's jaw dropped comically as he sat in his seat. C.C. started to laugh as she placed her elbows on the table and leaned on them.
"You guys were adopted by this school's principal!?" L.L. continued to smirk at the Japanese teenager's reaction.
"Yup!" C.C. said with amusement filling the word.
Suzaku then physically deflated and a dejected look fell on his face as he stared down at his hands. "Why…why didn't you guys wait for me? I was going to come back you know."
At this L.L. and C.C. stared at Suzaku in surprise before looking down at their own hands. C.C. was the first to speak after the moment of silence. "We…we were trying to wait for you. We really tried, Suzaku. But then they decided to try separating me and L.L." She was about to say more when L.L. brushed his hand over hers, shutting her up instantly. He then turned towards Suzaku who looked surprised.
"I had been walking by one of their lounge rooms when I overheard them talking about the orphans that had yet to be adopted. They had decided that, if we weren't adopted by our next appointment, they would send me off to another orphanage." Suzaku was practically hanging onto every word that L.L. said. "It turned out that our next appointment was Ruben Ashford."
Suzaku then decided to cut in. "Wait, so you just let him adopt you? Just like that?" he said, knowing that L.L. wouldn't just accept someone's offer even if he was desperate. L.L., annoyed by the interruption, lightly glared at Suzaku and let a pout fall onto his face. Suzaku immediately noticed this rather cute face (who wouldn't?) and put an apologetic look on his own. "Sorry, sorry. Please continue, Your Highness," he said, using the nickname he had given the black haired Britannian when they were merely ten. L.L., in turn, slightly blushed as he remembered some…embarrassing incidents that had occurred when they were younger because Suzaku had said that to him.
"Anyways! I actually realized that Ruben had a hidden agenda for me, he didn't hide it as well as he thought he did, and I was able to crack him open and find out." Suzaku tilted his head to the right which reminded both C.C. and L.L. of a cute puppy.
"What was his 'hidden agenda'?" L.L. and C.C. looked at each other before staring off to the side, knowing that Suzaku wasn't going to like the answer. When the green eyed boy noticed their hesitation, he felt his eyes narrow and a frown of disapproval pull at his lips. "L.L…C.C…what was his agenda?"
C.C. was the first to crack under the pressure. "Well, apparently the Ashfords used to be nobles but when Empress Marianne vi Britannia died, they lost their title. Mr. and Mrs. Ashford were actually assassinated for one reason or another; leaving Ruben Ashford, the principal of the school, and Milly Ashford, the school's student council president and Ruben's granddaughter." Suzaku was still staring them down with narrowed eyes, knowing, yet not regretting, the fact that he really wasn't going to like what came next.
"Once Ruben dies, Milly is to inherit the Ashford name and everything with it. Or at least that was until Ruben came up with an idea. If he was able to get Milly to marry another noble, then she would be taken care of and wouldn't have to go through all the hardships that life had to offer," L.L. said slowly before dropping the bomb. "He then realized that, once Milly was married, the Ashfords would once again be a part of the Nobility, even if they were low in rank. Old enemies would once again arise and Milly may be targeted and killed. So, Ruben thought up another idea. If he were to adopt a boy as his son, therefore becoming Milly's uncle and above her in status, that boy could become the inheritor of the Ashford family name and, in the end, become the one that is being targeted." Suzaku felt his eyes widen painfully and his arms become lifeless.
"You mean…" L.L. nodded slowly while looking just about anywhere else.
"Ruben picked me as that inheritor," the purple eyed boy said quietly while he folded his hands on the table. "I will inherit the money, the estate, the academy, and even the title when I become eighteen or Ruben dies. Since Ruben is actually feeling better these days, I think it will become all mine when I'm eighteen." The trio then became silent as they all thought over this situation.
"And…you just let him adopt you guys? Even knowing what was behind his offer? Were you even thinking!?" Suzaku said after the silence became too great; his voice becoming louder with every sentence. L.L. then jerked his head up in indignation.
"What else could I have done!? I couldn't let them take me away from C.C.!" Suzaku and L.L. then began to glare each other down. They probably would have gotten into a real argument had C.C. not stood up and slammed her fist onto the table.
"That's enough! Suzaku, we did it because we had no choice. This was very beneficial for us! We have access to resources that would not have been possible if we were adopted by anyone else! We tried looking for you! But after searching for so long we had given up! We then began feeding the people in the ghettos!" Suzaku and L.L. stared at the green haired girl in surprise as she paused to catch her breath. "We tried, Suzaku. We tried…" C.C. trailed off with a trace of sadness in her voice. "It hurt. Every day it hurt to not have you around. We just wanted to do something that would help ease the pain." C.C. then began to wipe angrily at the small tears that began to fall. Suzaku felt anger at himself for being such an asshole. For not realizing that he wasn't the only one that had suffered over the last four years. He then reached out and yanked C.C. in a bear hug, stronger than the one that had happened when they had been reunited in the classroom. C.C didn't mind the hug and after a few moments, they slightly turned and opened their arms out towards L.L.
L.L. let a small smile fall into place before joining in. The hugging immediately stopped when Suzaku opened his eyes only to see someone staring at them with a small smile.
"Whoa!"
At the sound of Suzaku's panicked voice, L.L. and .C.C reached under the table, grabbed a hand gun and pointed it towards the direction that Suzaku had been staring at. They both sighed in relief before lowering their weapons. "False alarm."
"Sheesh, Sayoko, give us a warning or something next time." The maid nodded before fully entering the room.
"My mistake, Master L.L. Lady C.C. I am very glad that you responded to the situation the way you did, as well. I would have given you an 'A' if this had been a test." L.L. merely nodded while C.C. shrugged her shoulders.
"What can we say? We learned from the best." Sayoko gave another smile before turning to a wide eyed Suzaku who was in a bit of shock. He felt like he just saw two pure and innocent doves get ready to attack and kill a little mouse. Doves weren't supposed to do that. Doves weren't supposed to hold guns and point them at an innocent mouse like they knew how to use one. Why did L.L. and C.C. know how to handle guns!?
"And who is your friend here?" L.L. and C.C. turned to face a shocked Suzaku before turning back.
"Oh, sorry for not introducing you two," L.L. said politely. "Suzaku, meet Sayoko Shinozaki. Sayoko here is our maid. She is the person to go to if you have a problem with anything or anyone." Sayoko bowed before looking flattered.
"Oh please, you flatter me." L.L. rolled his eyes and smiled before continuing.
"Sayoko, this is Suzaku Kururugi, one of our…friends…" Suzaku was snapped back to reality at L.L.'s statement. The words that no one wanted to hear. I'm…just a friend…?
The silence remained quiet and a bit awkward as Suzaku continued to stare at a guilty looking L.L. Sayoko broke the silence only to say that she was going to prepare dinner. Which caused the three Kururugis to realize that the school day was beyond over.
…
Schneizel walked into his room with a sharp step in his walk. When the door closed, Kanon, who had been lying lazily on the bed, glanced over towards the blonde.
"What got your panties in a bunch?" The peach haired immortal let a small smirk appear on his face when Schneizel threw him a glare.
"Absolutely nothing."
Kanon then faced the ceiling once more before answering. "Oh really? I thought it was because Suzaku Kururugi appeared in your classroom and stole C.C. and L.L. away. I guess it was silly of me to think of you being jealous of that Eleven boy. My mistake." Schneizel felt irritation claw its way forward as he sat at his desk.
"Is there any other news you want to report? No?" Schneizel said; not really letting Kanon answer. "Then I'm going to sleep. Good night," he said as he got up and began to grab his pajamas before leaving the room. Kanon watched as the door closed before turning on his side and closing his eyes.
Oh Schneizel. I see you haven't gotten over the fact that you can't always win.
…
After the rather awkward dinner, C.C. said goodbye to Suzaku before heading up to the room she shared with L.L. From there, she was given a perfect view of the entrance of the student council building and L.L. and Suzaku.
Meanwhile, the unsuspecting boys continued on, not knowing that they were being watched and, to some degree, heard.
"We'll…we'll be able to see you again, right?" L.L. asked cautiously, almost afraid of Suzaku's answer. Suzaku let a comforting smile appear on his face.
"Well I still have military duties, so I can't be here every day…" At L.L.'s expression, Suzaku was able to tell that he was even more concerned about him. "Don't worry. I've been reassigned to the engineering core. It's a lot less dangerous." At this, L.L. felt most of his worries fall away.
"Oh, okay…well…you should come by again. I'm sure Sayoko wouldn't mind making food for a guest every now and then."
Suzaku gave a nod. "Sure…but…" L.L. raised a delicate eyebrow at Suzaku's hesitation. "L.L…I don't think you or C.C. should be seen with me at school." L.L. felt shock and a bit of fear run through him.
"What do you mean?"
"Think," Suzaku said, "Your guys' reputation will drop if you're seen with me. I don't want you to become outcasts because of me. I…I don't wanna cause you any trouble." By the end, Suzaku was looking down to the side as if he were ashamed; though he didn't know that, technically, L.L. and C.C. were almost always outcasts. Meanwhile, L.L. felt anger bubble to the surface.
"Doing it again, huh!? Everyone's needs but your own!" Suzaku then became confused.
"Again?" L.L. then paused before looking to the side, the anger still there.
"Never mind."
Suzaku wanted to ask more but he didn't want to upset the dark haired beauty even more. "Uh…thanks for having me! It was a lot of fun. Oh wait! Here," Suzaku said as he began to unbutton the black coat. After the first few buttons, he stopped and brought out a familiar locket. "I'm guessing you gave this to me during the…well, you know," he said as he unclasped the chain that held the cheap yet beautiful locket. L.L. stared at it while wonder filled his eyes.
"You still have it? Even after all the things that had happened in the ghetto? I thought it may have been lost in the wreckage or maybe some desperate Japanese person may have taken it." Suzaku shook his head.
"No, they had actually found it around my neck and thought that it was mine so they gave it back to me." Suzaku continued to stare at L.L. before looking away. "I'll, uh, see you later." Suzaku then remembered L.L.'s "friend" comment and felt the need to get out of there faster. At Suzaku's goodbye, L.L. felt sadness seep in.
"Yeah…later…" Nearly half way down the stairs, Suzaku stopped once more and felt a smile filled with happiness crawl onto his face.
"I'm glad, you know? I thought it would be much longer…to have a chance to talk like this…like we used to…" After he said that, Suzaku left without another word. L.L. merely stared at the ground with tears pricking at his eyes.
"You…idiot!"
C.C. frowned as she watched Suzaku's receding back fade into the darkness and L.L.'s shadow disappear behind the front door.
"You both are fools…"
…
Both L.L. and C.C. immediately noticed how the room got quiet the moment that Suzaku entered the room yet Suzaku continued to walk as if he hadn't noticed a thing. It was the fourth class of the day and yet Suzaku was still being looked at like he was an alien or something even though the news must have spread like wildfire yesterday.
"What's an Eleven doing here?"
"He was a suspect in Prince Clovis's murder!"
"But the teachers said that the charges were dropped."
"He was suspicious enough to arrest, though, right?"
"You don't really think he's a terrorist, do you?"
"Of course he isn't. The school board would know something like that." What really ticked the other two Kururugis off was that even Rivalz, Shirley, and Nina were talking about Suzaku.
"An Eleven here at school?"
"He is an Honorary Britannian."
"I know, but still, all the same-"
"Well he doesn't look that scary to me! Why don't we just talk to him?" L.L. felt hope rising to their chests as Shirley began to walk towards the Japanese boy only to have it dashed by Rivalz.
"The guy just got here, give him some space." When they had had enough, L.L. and C.C. both got out of their seats and walked towards Suzaku.
"Hey, Suzaku," L.L. started. "It's lunch time, how about we go and eat on the roof?" Suzaku looked surprised before standing.
"Sure, let me just go grab something from my locker." L.L. nodded before beginning to walk out.
"Good, I also need to go to my locker so it's no problem."
Everyone else watched as the three remaining Kururugis left the classroom to eat lunch.
…
Schneizel closed his eyes and enjoyed the feeling of sun on his face as he held the phone to his ear.
"It won't be long until she comes after us." Schneizel wanted to roll his eyes but refrained from doing such a childish thing.
"Just keep your head. Our chance will come."
"But-!"
"Sit tight, I'll contact you later." As he pressed the "end" button, the blonde haired Britannian felt a frown fall into place. This is getting too overly familiar. Maybe I better cut my ties with them. "Huh?" Schneizel said as something caught his eyes from out the window. He was surprised to see L.L., C.C. and Suzaku in front of a wash station looking; the two former Kururugi's looked pissed off while he was unable to see Suzaku's expression. He then understood what they were so "irritated" about. The purple eyed boy watched as Suzaku raised up his Gym uniform and was able to see the bright spray paint all over it.
…
Kanon opened the door and was glad to see a pizza delivery man there with his order.
"Thanks for all the repeat business. Although, the name on the account we debit has a guy's name on it, is that okay?" Kanon felt his eyebrow twitch and he had to refrain from either correcting the guy or beating the shit out of him for that gender comment.
"It's fine."
As the pizza man gave Kanon his much loved pizza, they both failed to notice a cat sneaking in pass the two.
Kanon also didn't see the cat when it followed him throughout the building and into Schneizel's room. "Oh? Trying to hide your mask?" Schneizel didn't even spare the blue eyed immortal a glance but continued to work on his brief case looking bag.
"Unlike my Geass, the mask is a physical piece of evidence." Before he could say anymore, the two males heard footsteps coming down the hallway. The blonde haired Britannian was barely able to hide the bag and mask under the couch he was sitting on when Sayoko opened his room.
"Master Schneizel, the tea is ready and Lady C.C. and Master L.L. are waiting for you." Schneizel let a polite smile fall on his face as he got up.
"Okay, thank you for letting me know." Sayoko nodded before eyeing Kanon.
"I suspect that Master Kanon won't be attending once more?" Schneizel gave a tight lipped smile before walking past the Japanese maid and into the hallway.
"Of course not." Kanon rolled his eyes before waving hello to Sayoko. The maid nodded before turning away.
"If that is all, then shall leave to buy a few groceries. I should be back in thirty minutes."
Kanon nodded once more before turning back to his pizza. Right as he took a bite, he jerked towards the sound of something falling. The peach haired boy failed to notice as the cat walked past him and out the door.
…
Schneizel barely sat down at the table with L.L. and C.C. (who were looking quite distraught) when he saw a heart stopping sight. Right behind them, just outside of the entrance, a cat was wearing his Infinite mask. The two Kururugis were quite surprised to see Schneizel so shocked. Especially when he started to yell.
"Uaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Much to Schneizel's relief, the cat was scared off by the sound of his "yelp" and was able to leave before the two Kururugis turned around.
"What's wrong, Schneizel?" C.C. asked, sounding as confused as she felt. C.C. and L.L. watched as Schneizel ran out the room.
"Sorry, but I need to go and do something! I will see you two later!" As the door closed, L.L. turned to look at the green haired girl who was sipping her tea with a bit of amusement. Much to Schneizel's later misfortune, the two Kururugis had been able to turn around quick enough to know that it was a cat that had disturbed their tea time.
"What just happened?"
C.C. put down her cup with a smirk. "I don't know but I think we should go to a certain someone. Knowing her, I'm pretty sure that Milly can come up with something fun to do with this." L.L. rolled his eyes before taking a final sip and putting his cup down.
"Fine, let's go before this chance slips by."
…
Both L.L. and C.C. nodded at Milly while Rivalz and Nina stood by her, looking at the two Kururugis nervously.
"Yeah, well we thought we saw a cat run off with something that must have been pretty important to him." Milly remained cool and confident. Externally at least. Inside, she was worried about being teased by the Ice King and Queen again.
"Important?" asked Milly, cautiously of course.
L.L. shrugged before answering. "I'm not sure what exactly but I'm positive it's something of value to him. I've never heard the infamous Schneizel Raffiniert sound like that. He was completely hysterical," the dark haired Britannian said with a hint of worry in his voice. Rivalz frowned as he thought about the oddity of Schneizel's actions.
"Well that's weird. What could be so important to the guy?"
Nina looked off to the side before answering. "A love letter?"
"An embarrassing photo?" Milly said while putting a finger to her chin.
"Poetry he wrote?" Rivalz said.
"Poetry?" C.C. said with confusion.
Milly and Rivalz turned and gave each other mischievous grins before chuckling conspiratorially. "Leave it to us! We'll get our hands on this thing before Schneizel has a chance to blink!" Milly said with excitement running in her eyes. "Just you wait!" she finished before sticking out her thumb. L.L. and C.C. then turned to each other to give their own mischievous grins before nodding to Milly and Rivalz.
"Alright, first, let's head over to the student council room!"
…
Schneizel continued to run through the halls while still trying to catch the rather annoyingly elusive cat. Then the worst thing happened. He started to hear Milly's voice from the speakers that were placed around the school.
"THIS IS MILLY ASHFORD, YOUR STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT. CAT HUNT EVERYBODY."
…
Suzaku, who sat alone in an empty classroom, stared at the speaker in surprise.
"Cat hunt?"
…
"There's a cat loose on campus that needs to be rounded up," Milly said with determination shining in her blue eyes. L.L. and C.C. watched with amusement shining in their own as they stood on the corner of the room while Milly continued to speak into the microphone.
"Put everything on hold people!" Though L.L. and C.C. had been amused at first, they felt their mood plummet at Milly's reward. "Participating clubs will get budget priority! And whoever catches our feline friend will get an extra special prize!
"A big 'ol kiss from one of the members of the council~! AHAHAHAHAAHAHA!" By the end of it L.L. felt their eyes widen in shock.
"…members of the…student council…?" L.L. said with nervousness lacing his voice. Like…Schneizel…?
…
Kallen jerked around at the end of the announcement. "Wait! Like me!?" Suddenly a bunch of boys appeared from the bushes that surrounded the path that the redhead was taking.
"EXACTLY!"
"You've been hanging around the student council, haven't yah?"
"I wouldn't mind a taste of those lips!"
"It's not gonna be like some lame peck on the cheek, though, is it?"
"A kiss on the cheek would be fine with me!"
"Wait! We can choose where she lands it?" The boys stared at each excitedly before standing and running off in different directions.
"ALRIGHT!" Meanwhile Kallen started to run after them in anger and embarrassment, causing her face to heat up with a full on blush.
"There's no way that's how I'm going to get my first kiss!"
…
A group of girls stood in front of the school with excited and dreamy eyes.
"What!? From a member of the student council!? Does that include Schneizel!?" the girls began to squeal before one of the other, more petite girls spoke up.
"Actually, I would prefer Milly…"
"Ugh! Why do you have to be so different!?" A little ways over, the football team could be seen.
As they got together to put their game plan together, the Equestrian Club rode by on their horses. "We have the advantage in mobility!"
On the other side of the campus, the students in the Green Club began to dig through the dirt. "Quick! Look for catnip!"
"Plants will prevail!"
…
Before L.L. and .CC. completely left the room they were able to hear Milly's final last words.
"And when you do catch that cat, bring what it's carrying to me! To me! To me! *hack, cough*"
As they walked down the halls at a fast pace, the two Kururugis then realized that they were being watched by some of the other students. The other students watched them with a vengeance in their eyes. "Why are they staring at us like that?" C.C. whispered to L.L. while trying to act like she didn't have a care in the world.
L.L. was about to say that he didn't know but then caught the end of a conversation. "-would it be like to have the Ice King kiss my ass."
"Yeah! We choose where they put it right? I would love to see C.C. on her hands and knees and kissing my shoe."
"Serves them right! After taking all of their shit! And now with the Eleven…" That certainly made L.L. snap. He stopped walking and slowly turned his head to the small trio of students. They all felt chills run up and down their spines and goosebumps appeared on their arms. It worsened when his stare became an outright glare. C.C., who had also caught onto what was going on, broke L.L.'s one-sided staring competition by dragging him away.
"Come on, we don't have time for small fry like them. We have a cat to find." L.L. let a smirk show when he saw just how angry it made the other students.
…
Kallen let a snarl loose as she ran through the hallways. "Offering people up as prizes! That's why I hate Britannians!" Kallen then gasped as she saw a large group of girls heading towards her. She slowed down her pace and breathing and waited for them to pass by. The moment they had pass, the redhead began running again. "Damn it! Why do I have to pretend like I'm sick and feeble!?" just as she said that, Kallen had reached a corner and ended up bumping into someone else. "Jeez, I'm sorry about that!" the blue eyed girl said meekly before gasping. "Shirley!? Why are you dressed like that?" Kallen stared at the orange haired girl who was only in her swimsuit. Shirley in question stared at Kallen with wide eyes.
"I didn't have time to change! They're gonna make us kiss somebody! We gotta hurry!" At this, Kallen nodded.
"I'm with you!"
…
Cecile stared at the school with a frown on her face. "The school seems to be having a lot of fun. Despite of the fact that they're in mourning. You suppose that Suzaku will be alright I here?" she said to Lloyd as she stood next to the transport vehicle and heard the students' loud cheers.
As Lloyd walked towards his dark haired assistant, he felt a bit of sorrow go through him. "Never mind that. The university here…" Cecile gave him a slightly annoyed look before looking back at the portable laptop in her arms.
"Don't worry about that. I've already made arrangements with them." Lloyd sighed before staring mournfully at the building next to them.
"They still didn't have to kick poor Lancelot out, though!"
Cecile stared down guilty at the laptop balanced precariously in her arms. "I know. Even if they did say Elevens aren't acceptable…" Cecile finished before typing angrily away at the poor laptop.
…
Milly raised a roguish eyebrow at Rivalz. "Do we get a kiss? But of course we do!" Rivalz then lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Is that so? Then what are we waiting around for, then!? This is my day to shine!" As Rivalz sped away, a teacher could be seen choking while yelling things about speeding on the campus.
…
As the dark gray cat darted underneath a small table, Kallen and Shirley looked down at it triumphantly. Thankfully for Schneizel, they had yet to see the white mask on its head. Shirley wore Kallen's school blazer over her blue swimsuit.
"Okay, if we do this right, then our lips will be safe. Shirley, you cover the rear." Kallen said before taking a step forward. She was stopped when the green eyed girl called out to her.
"Wait a sec!" Kallen turned towards her in surprise.
"Huh? What's the matter?"
Shirley gulped before proceeding. "Who would you want to get a kiss from? Is there anyone in particular? It wouldn't be Schneizel, would it?" At this Kallen gasped and her blue eyes widened.
"Just what would make you think that!?" This caused the orange haired girl to blush and look off to the side.
"Oh-oh…I guess…it's just that…well…" Taking its chance to escape, the yellowed cat was able to leave unnoticed.
…
L.L. stared around the open and empty school grounds that surrounded him for any sign of that cat. Both he and C.C. had decided that they would have a better chance finding that stupid cat if they split up. Then, off in the distance, he saw a familiar sight. It was Arthur, the cat that would somehow get into the academy at night and end up asleep in their doorway. He remembered that C.C. and himself would leave out some milk and even leftover tuna for the gray cat. Though, lately, he had stopped coming. The two Kururugis had suspected that he had simply found a new family. As the purple eyed boy began to run towards the pesky feline, he noticed the bandage around his leg and was able to come up with a reason why the cat had disappeared. L.L. nearly cursed when he saw the cat run into the bell tower and up the stairs. He then began to run inside but came to a stop when he nearly crashed into two other people.
…
As Suzaku walked around campus, he heard a noise above him. He then saw a familiar gray cat peeking out of one of the open windows of the bell tower.
"Hey, isn't that…?" he said before taking off to the entrance. He was able to stop before he crashed into two other students.
…
Schneizel was running aimlessly around the campus when he saw the gray cat run into the bell tower. He never really understood its purpose but merely accepted it as a "necessity" for the school. He then gave a sharp turn and started to run towards the tall building.
He was nearly inside when he saw two other people about to crash into him. He was able to stop right before they hit each other but this caused them to become rather uncomfortably close to each other.
…
L.L. stared at Schneizel and Suzaku in surprise. "Suzaku!?" the other two boys looked as surprised as he did.
"L.L.!?" they both said at the same time. This caused the dark haired Britannian to turn sharply towards the blonde boy.
"Schneizel?"
Before Schneizel could say anything else, Suzaku replied first. "Wait, L.L., are you looking for the cat too?" Before either of them could reply, a cat's meow echoed down to them. "Up there…?" Suzaku said before taking off.
"Suzaku! Wait!" L.L. said as both he and Schneizel took off after the soldier. "Don't go up there!" While L.L. fell more and more behind, Schneizel found it very hard to even consider keeping pace with the Honorary Britannian.
"But the student council president said to catch it!" L.L. felt himself lose breath as he fought to make it up the next set of stairs.
"Don't worry about it! I'll get the cat!" Schneizel was too busy worrying about breathing than to talk about who was going to get the cat.
"I was always more agile than you! Remember that time when that little bird got loose?" L.L. blushed more from the embarrassment of that memory than exertion from the run.
"Qu..quit talking…ancient history!"
Suzaku laughed as he got closer to the top. "It was only seven years ago!" L.L.'s pace slowed to a walk while Schneizel settled into a slow jog, breathing hard even though he didn't talk while running. If L.L.'s made it this far while talking and with his physical abilities, then I'm guessing this used to be a regular thing for them, Schneizel thought as neared the very top of the stairs.
"Oh for Pete's sake! He always was an exercise nut!" Schneizel chuckled at this before saving his breath for more important stuff.
…
Rivalz screeched to a halt in front of the bell tower, making sure that nobody was in the way since there was a crowd gathering. "So someone's got it cornered, huh!?" Milly said excitedly as she jumped out of the side car. Shirley and Kallen also came running. "Who's the lucky winner!?"
"Up there!" Shirley said, her heart beat racing a bit.
They all stared up to see two familiar boys crawling on the steep roof. "Schneizel and…Suzaku!?"
…
Suzaku quickly crawled towards the cat with Schneizel near him, trying to crawl to the cat first.
"Easy now…" the green eyed boy said. "Come one, you don't have to be scared…" Just then, L.L. arrived and nearly had a heart attack at seeing Suzaku climbing a dangerously steep roof top.
"Suzaku! Come back!" L.L. said as he began to climb out of the window.
"It's okay, L.L.," Suzaku said comfortingly, "Just leave this to me." As Schneizel continued to crawl closer, he felt himself roll his eyes at Suzaku's words towards L.L. Shoot; he might end up seeing the mask! And who does he think he is? Monkeyman? Spiderant?
L.L. watched in confusion as he saw Schneizel trying to get to the cat before Suzaku. Ugh, this isn't a competition, Schneizel!
"Uaaaah!" L.L. yelped in surprise as he felt himself lose his balance and start to slide down the roof. He began to start scratching at the roof tiles, trying to catch onto anything that could hold him. "Suzaku!" he practically screamed.
But, thankfully, Suzaku was already sliding down towards L.L. His rather "manly" scream had alerted the soldier of his situation. "L.L.!" Suzaku yelled as he caught hold of the somewhat broken window and reached down as far as he could towards the distressed Britannian. Just as L.L. was about to fall off the building and down into the screaming mass of students, Suzaku was able to catch L.L. by his hand. L.L. in question felt tears of fear spring into his eyes as Suzaku began to heave him up and away from the yawning edge. The Japanese boy was able to haul the shaking L.L. up. As Suzaku began to wrap his arm around him, L.L. saw that Schneizel took something white off the dark haired cat's head and place it under the bell. The blonde then grabbed hold of the cat and began to carefully and slowly slide down. It was then that the black haired boy realized that Suzaku had his arm wrapped around him and whispering calm and comforting words to him. "It's alright, L.L. You're going to be fine. It was then that he noticed just how hard he was shaking. When they were close enough, Suzaku then let himself slightly fall back inside of the building through the window; catching his balance while still holding onto the purple eyed beauty in his arms. They stayed staring into each other's eyes but tore themselves away from each other when they heard a rustling sound from the window. They had pulled away right before Schneizel was able to see them. Suzaku then turned to the blonde and held out his arms.
"Here, I can hold him while you get down." Schneizel nodded before passing the cat over. The two Kururugis were surprised when Schneizel began to climb out.
"I just have to grab something; I'll meet you guys down stairs." L.L. and Suzaku stared at Schneizel in surprise before nodding simultaneously.
"Of course, Schneizel, but make sure that, whatever you're hiding, it stays hidden from Milly." The blonde Britannian nodded before climbing completely out of the window and back onto the roof. Without another word, L.L. and Suzaku made their way back down the rather long flight of stairs. Even though they didn't say anything, the silence was filled in by Suzaku's pained gasps and "ouch's". By the time they had reached the bottom, Suzaku's hands were nearly bleeding and much of the student body was there; the rest were still out searching for a cat that had already been captured.
"I think it's the same cat from the other day," Suzaku said as Arthur kept on hissing at him. The green eyed Honorary Britannian came to a stop as he realized that he was surrounded by scared and nervous Britannian students. Even L.L. came to a stop and, although he hid it well, was nervous about the rest of the students' reactions to Suzaku.
The tension was slightly broken when Shirley smiled and quickly separated from the rest of the crowd and walked towards them. Suzaku's eyes widened when she stopped in front of him and clasped her hands together. "You saved him! Thank you so much, Suzaku!" Suzaku had decided at that moment that it would be best not to mention the fact that she was only wearing the school blazer and made sure to keep his eyes up towards her face instead of letting his gaze wander down to more…interesting parts. The orange haired girl was quickly joined by Rivalz who came up to Suzaku's side with a friendly and cool air about him.
"Yeah! Way to go there, New Guy!"
The blonde haired Ashford then strode forward with a victorious look in her eye. "That cat was carrying something, wasn't it?" Suzaku's surprised look melted into a cheery one as he answered the student council President.
"Yeah, there was something on its head, but I never got a good look at it," Suzaku said while looking a bit sheepish. "I guess it slipped off when I wasn't looking." Shirley then became concerned as she realized that a certain tall blonde Britannian wasn't with them.
"So where is Schneizel?" Suzaku's eyes widened and he let himself look back towards the entrance of the bell tower while L.L. simply looked at the ground with narrowed eyes. Many of the other students continued to watch the exchange with either raised eyebrows or deeply engraved frowns.
"Ah! He said he forgot something. He had told us to go ahead." Suzaku then flinched as Milly began to yell though the rest of the crowd, used to her antics, remained composed though some rolled their eyes.
"That's it!" Milly said while she pointed a finger towards the middle of Suzaku's face. "The embarrassing secret that he's hiding!" Everyone felt their eyes widen at the sound of a deep and familiar voice.
"So that's it, Madame President?" Schneizel said as he calmly walked towards the light and crowd.
Milly slumped her shoulders in defeat as Schneizel fully emerged from the shadows. "Aww, after all this time, I thought I had some dirt on you!" Shirley crossed her arms and looked towards the ground near Milly. "Yeah, he almost lost his cool for once." Kallen then asked a question that they had all been dying to know ever since Suzaku was first heard about on the news.
"So, how exactly are you guys related to each other? Or do you just so happen to have the same last name? Are you guys friends?" The crowd's eyes widen at how boldly Kallen had asked that question but then turned towards the two Kururugis.
Even though she had said it quietly, everyone heard Nina when she said, "Yeah, but he's an Eleven…" C.C., who was (surprisingly) lost in the crowd, let a small gasp come from her lips and a hurt look come over her face quickly before letting it disappear.
Suzaku then immediately fell back on his plan of not having anything to do with each other. "No! I just-"
"He's my dad." Audible gasps were heard as C.C. strode forward and stood by L.L., Suzaku, and Schneizel in front of the crowd. Even the calm and cool headed Schneizel let a small disbelieving look cross his face as he thought of all possible meanings that that one statement held. After a moment of silence, L.L. lurched across Suzaku and grabbed hold of both of C.C.'s cheeks before pulling at them. He let a tight lipped smile cross his face as he stared angrily at the green haired girl.
"Don't say it like that, or you'll cause misunderstandings," the amethyst eyed Britannian said before pulling even harder at C.C.'s cheeks. The expressionless C.C. sighed before removing L.L.'s hands.
"But it's true, Suzaku is my dad." L.L. sighed before turning back to the crowd with a strong, confident air about him though he became expressionless.
"We are family even if the system no longer considers us kin." Before the students could begin to think about what that meant, L.L. turned towards Milly with a strong, yet somewhat pleading, face. "Madame President, Would you permit him as a member of the Student Council?" Milly took a small step backwards as she saw his expression. Everyone who was present realized that this was the first time that L.L. has shown an emotion like this in front of them. "The rules are clear. All students are required to join a club. Although…" L.L. didn't finish his sentence but, really, he didn't need to. No one was going to accept Suzaku into their club, whether he was an Honorary Britannian or not. Many eyes turned towards Milly while she stared hard at L.L. The black haired boy remained calm and tried not to fidget as he thought about the possibility of her saying "no". Milly then let a smile fall on her face which caused L.L. to worry a bit. Thankfully, he had no reason to.
"Well, you are the Vice President, so I suppose I can't refuse!" L.L. let a small breath escape him as C.C. turned towards them.
"Well that's the end of that, now come here you two," the yellow eyed girl said. Both L.L. and Suzaku looked at each other before leaning towards C.C. she quickly gave them both a peck on the cheek and, while they were a bit distracted by the kiss, C.C. turned towards Schneizel. C.C. glared at him while the blonde boy raised an eyebrow. Before anything else could be said or done, C.C. jumped up and placed a small kiss on the purple eyed boy's surprised cheek. "You helped catch the cat so you needed a reward as well," C.C. said quietly while blushing a bit. Rivalz then broke the rather awkward silence by raising both his fist and voice.
"Alright then! Let's celebrate the catching of the cat! Everything is on the new guy, naturally," Rivalz said before playfully shrinking away from Shirley.
"Oh, back off!" the orange haired girl said. She then turned back towards the green eyed boy and placing a hand on her chest. "Hi there, I'm Shirley! Pleasure to meet ya!" Rivalz then placed a sheepish hand on his head as he introduced himself.
"Oh, right! I'm Rivalz."
"Milly Ashford, Student Council President!" Suzaku stared at Milly in surprise before looking back towards Shirley and Rivalz and smiling.
"The pleasure is mine!"
While the rest of the introductions went on, Schneizel glanced towards a smiling L.L. and C.C. before firmly placing a glare towards Suzaku. The thick headed boy and the two joy filled Kururugis failed to notice just how "irritated" the blonde was.
…
The entire student body watched as the screen lit up and an anchor man appeared with a small box floated next to him. "AND NOW, HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, THE 98TH EMPEROR FROM THE HOLY BRITANNIAN EMPRIE." The students waited patiently as the little box widened and stretched until it filled the entire screen. There, Charles zi Britannia stood in all his glory. Royals and the highest ranking nobles sat near him as he strode towards the podium with a fierce glare like stare on his face. Even the First Prince, Odysseus eu Britannia, and the Fourth Princess, Nunnally vi Britannia, were present. Schneizel felt a tug at his heart as he saw the royal siblings' faces, expressionless yet one was able to tell exactly how they felt over the loss of their half-brother, Clovis. When the emperor spoke, his voice was strong and without hesitance. He spoke about how Britannia was able to struggle, compete and how it was trying to help make "these smaller nations" just as fit so they too could march towards the future. He spoke about how, even though the late Third Prince tried to help stop their savagery, he had still been murdered in cold blood.
"But no! We shall not let the death of my son hinder our resolve for helping the savages! We will continue to be courteous and merciful towards these suffering countries and many more in the future! ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!"
There were few in the student body that were able to identify the cruelty in that speech. The rest were reminded of what their parents had taught them: the numbers should know their place and be grateful that Britannia was kind enough to let them even be alive instead of thirty feet under concrete and the remains of their "country". Schneizel continued to glare at nothing in particular as he walked away from the crowd and towards his room. With the image of two people in his eyes, Schneizel began to think of rather…unhealthy thoughts. Those bastards!
…
Near the gates, as Suzaku began to say goodbye L.L. and C.C., he began to sneeze rapidly. When he stopped, Suzaku groaned a bit, "What the heck was that all about?"
C.C. gave a small smirk before looking back towards the school. "A sneeze like that means that someone is thinking mean thoughts about you~!" L.L. and Suzaku gave each other looks before breaking into smiles.
"Yeah, I guess that's possible."
…
As Charles entered his bedroom, he began to sneeze rapidly while being thankful that he had sent his guards away. "There's a superstition that says if you sneeze like that, then it means that someone is thinking about your demise," a blonde haired boy said as he appeared from the shadows of the room.

I AM SO FREAKING SORRY! For not updating in such a long assed time! I felt like this is a late update even though I don't have a fixed schedule so I am extremely sorry! I was planning to update all my stories at once but then I got too excited and updated this one before the rest. Sorry again! BTW!
Before you skip this little part and press the review button (you will press it right?) I have a serious question to ask:
What are some of the funniest/stupidest pranks you have ever pulled, seen someone else pull, and or have heard of?
Please answer because I'm gonna need it as some material for a fanfiction I'm thinking of publishing. I want it to be funny but I highly doubt that I have a funny bone in my body. Not even the bone in my elbow reacts like a funny bone!
P.S. I would have put in Charles's full speech but it seemed to much of a hassle in having to take some parts out, add some parts in and make it fit the world that I envisioned…leave me alone, I'm tire!
