XChromeHeartsX: I practically burst with happiness when I saw that you had updated just... wow. I don't know if I should laugh or cry. XD Anyways, awesome chappy :3 Update when you can!

Reply: Haha, I'm glad that you were glad that I updated! I get the feeling that this fic isn't very popular. But you have given me hope!

The allen walker: And finally Cecile and Lloyd meet L.L and C.C. definitely can't wait for the next chapter. Love this one and until next chapter.

Reply: Yes! Truthfully I was having trouble finding out where I was going to make them meet each other but then I watched that episode and I was like "this is perfect!" btw, when are you going to update that WONDERFUL story of yours, hm?

I-Love-Trunks1: Poor Schneizel, losing his mother and sister. Are he and Lelouch full blooded brothers in this story? I look forward to both their reactions when they find out if they are. I'm looking forward to when Lelouch and Euphemia find out about each other as well. I love the pairing Suzaku and Lelouch! They are so cute together! I love this story so much! Can't wait for more!

Reply: Yeah, I kind of felt sorry for him when I wrote that he lost them but I didn't want Nunnally to be that sister cuz, well I need her alive! And also, I didn't want to put in an OC and disrupt the flow. No, Lelouch and Schneizel aren't full-blooded brothers. Well Schneizel probably wouldn't care since the royals tend to get with each other's brothers and sisters and cousins and what not. Oh…Euphemia and Lelouch….*starts giggling madly* yeah there will for sure be drama between them. Or have you already forgotten her love confession to Suzaku in episode 20 (MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)? I just need to find a way to place their actual meeting. I'm glad you like it so much! :D

A/N: this one is actually going to be rather long…..I hope you brought popcorn! And yay! We've reached chapter 10! A very important milestone in my journey as a fanfiction author!

Disclaimer: don't own just about any of the characters. The plot is mine though.

Narita

As the sun sank into the horizon, the stars began to shine brightly against the dark blue looking sky. The area where the sun was last seen shone pink with a hint of orange. The shadows of the warehouse buildings were like a stain against the light yet somehow were able to enhance the sunset's beauty.

Schneizel ran quickly on a catwalk, trying to make as little noise as possible even as his white cape flapped in the wind. He could hear the only members of the White Knights following closely behind, also trying to quiet down. Not even Tamaki spoke which was a blessing in and of itself.

Here it is, Schneizel thought as he came to a stop in front of warehouse twenty eight. Light poured out from underneath the roll up doors. Smirking lightly, the masked blonde smirked before pressing the button on a control that he held in his hand. The light soon disappeared and he could already hear shouts from inside.

On his signal, the Japanese men and woman open fire into the air, causing the Britannian businessmen inside to panic.

Without much trouble, Schneizel and the White Knights snuck into the building and positioned themselves perfectly. Just as the drug dealers managed to get the lights back on.

"You're—you're the—!"

"The White Knights!"

Almost everyone in the classroom gasped before staring in surprise as Kallen stood there, barely waking up from the dream she had. The redhead's forehead was slightly pink from where she had rested it before the rest of her face turned just as red. The rest of her classmates broke out in laughter just as the bell rang.

"It isn't like you to doze off in class like that, Kallen," Shirley said in concern while she looked at Kallen. Though her smile was carefree, anyone could tell that she was getting a bit worried. The blue eyed redhead on the other hand was too busy trying to cover up her mistake to notice.

"I, um, well…"

"You can learn a thing or two from Schneizel," Rivalz said from his place standing next to the desk. Kallen jerked her head up before swinging it around to find the blonde still in his seat. "He's a Master in the art of Sleeping in Class."

"Wait…is he sleeping right now!?" from the way he had position the hand that kept his head up, Kallen had thought that he was simply deep in thought.

"I don't know what he does these days, but lately he's been sleeping through about half of them. Probably more." Kallen found suspicion rising up before remembering the evidence that pointed away from Schneizel. "You know, now that I think about it…he was also the one to teach L.L. and C.C. too."

"What!?"

Kallen turned around in her chair to find the two Kururugis also at their desks. C.C. had an open textbook in her hands and her head was bent low enough to make it seem like she was actually reading instead of hiding. L.L. had a similar look to Schneizel. One of his hands came up to his forehead while the other held onto his pencil. On his notebook was a very complicated math question that seemed to take up the entire page.

"You know, you guys are very loud," Schneizel said from his place as he began to wake up. With small shrieks, the three other students looked back at the purple eyed blonde who tried to stifle the yawn that was rising.

"Sorry, buddy," Rivalz said before moving out of his way. "I was just telling Kallen here to ask you about how to sleep in class while getting away with it. Think you can teach her?" Schneizel paused as he thought about it before shaking his head slightly.

"Sorry, I'm kind of busy these days. Perhaps if you asked L.L. nicely, he might teach you." Kallen, though it wasn't about anything important, felt as if Schneizel just rejected her. Which he did, but it felt more along the lines of…no. Impossible.

Forgetting about her hurt pride and…other feelings for a moment, Kallen watched as Schneizel walked over to C.C. and L.L. and woke each of them up. For a few precious seconds, they all saw C.C. and L.L. wake up like little children; yawning while stretching before rubbing the sleep from their eyes.

"Oh? Is class over?" L.L. asked while looking up to the blonde Britannian.

Euphemia li Britannia watched as the trains moved past each other. And remembered the night she met Infinite at Lake Kawaguchi. Suzaku, when he spoke to me that night….what was he hinting to? What would you make to all this? About what Infinite is doing? And…of me? She quickly hid the blush that began to form before turning her thoughts away from the green eyed Eleven and to her sister that seemed to be heading into a long and elaborate lecture.

Kallen yawned but nearly felt the air get stuck in her throat as the door to the Student Council Room slid open.

"Come on Suzaku! Hold him down! You too Schneizel!"

"Cut it out you guys! Argh! Stop it! I'm not kidding!"

Kallen felt her mouth drop open as she noticed that the entire Student Council was in….cat costumes?

They all surrounded L.L. who was struggling with all his might. Yeah, they didn't have to do much. Milly stood off slightly to the side in a pink and black leotard that was rather….form fitting. Shirley held up a makeup brush and tried to paint L.L.'s face which seemed rather hard from the way he kept shaking it. The orange haired girl was in a two piece pink cat costume. Both Rivalz and Suzaku were wearing full body costumes though Suzaku's was blue and loosely hung onto him while Rivalz's was tan with brown spots and rather….skin tight…

"I'm sorry, L.L., but it's the president's orders," Suzaku said as he helped Rivalz with the raven haired boy's head.

"Yeah, like you're not enjoying this at all?"

"Good meow-ning!" Milly said while pawing the air towards Kallen. Kallen blinked in surprise.

"Good…morning I guess. What is all this?" At the sound of the redhead's voice, the rest of the student council turned to her and smiled, except L.L. who gave her a strange thankful look.

"Did they not tell you?" C.C. said causing Kallen to jump slightly in surprise. The lime haired girl appeared from behind and walked with a sway to her light purple hips. The girl wore shorts so short they should have been considered underwear.

"Not tell me what?" C.C. gave the redhead a smirk from over her purple clothed shoulder.

"Today is our welcoming party for Arthur."

Kallen peeked over to said cat who merely turned his head, yawned and fell back to sleep. "It sounds like….fun?"

"Our classes are postponed so we might as well have fun right?" Before Kallen could say anything Shirley gestured to the costume rack and told her to pick whichever one she liked.

"She doesn't need a costume," L.L. said as he suddenly raised his head. This caused everyone to stare in surprise at him. "You're already wearing a mask, right?" Everyone, except for Schneizel, stared at Kallen in surprise as her eyes widened for a second. The blonde male however was looking at L.L. in surprise and slight hesitation. Quick to cover up the situation that had unsuspectingly risen, Kallen raised an eyebrow and narrowed her eyes.

"You know, you're real funny. You should be a comedian. Maybe you should try to get a gig on TV."

"What do you think, Miss. Movie Star?" Rivalz said as he made his hand into a fist and pointed one end to Shirley.

"Huh? I thought she was talking to L.L…" Suzaku said dumbly. Unfortunately, no one had time to correct him.

"Would you quit joking about that?" Shirley said as a frown appeared on her lips. "The whole thing is a huge pain in the butt! We've been asked questions day and night! Even in the bath!" Shirley's face was red by the end of it as her annoyance blazed through her.

"We haven't even been able to leave the school grounds," C.C. said as she set down the pizza she had been carrying in.

Rivalz then turned to look at C.C. with irritation. "Not that we don't feel for you, but why can't we leave either? I mean, some of us weren't even near there!" It was Milly that answered.

"Well sorry to tell you, Rivalz but that's the price of friendship! 'It matters not that we were born apart! Today we die as one!'" They all stayed staring at the student council president with raised eyebrows.

"Is that you're idea of a love quote?" Schneizel asked from his place beside Rivalz in his orange cat costume. Milly smiled before saying that if she went down then they all would too.

"That's a little harsh," Shirley said while trying to catch L.L. while he wasn't noticing, failing epically when he flinch and moved his head around once more. "Right Suzaku?" the orange haired girl looked up only to find Suzaku staring back at everyone with tears in his eyes.

"I….I'm glad." The brunette then raised a paw(?) to his face and began to wipe away at the tears that began to fall. "That we can all be together again. You know…? Like this…" L.L. then wished that the ropes that held him down to the chair could burn away so he could help comfort the crying Eleven by—hold that thought! Lelouch shook his head violently, trying to dispel the thoughts that decided to take a turn in…THAT direction. He didn't have time to dwell on the matter though. Rivalz suddenly grabbed his shoulders before using them as leverage to jump over his head.

"Oh come on!" the blue haired boy said as he reached the other side and wrapped an arm around the brunette's shoulders. "We're supposed to be relaxing!" The moment he said that, Rivalz made sure to twist his leg around the other's and dropped them both to the floor. The rest of the student council began to laugh as Rivalz pinched Suzaku's cheeks.

"That's what's so refreshing about Suzaku though!" Shirley said as she looked away from the two on the floor.

"Yeah," Milly said as she nodded her head in agreement. "Though sometimes, you just wish that he could get a clue, you know?"

"Oh? Thorry 'bout that!" Suzaku said from his place on the ground.

Rivalz then smiled wickedly before pulling harder at Suzaku's cheeks. "Aw! You love it puddy cat!" the rest of the student council continued to laugh, even Schneizel but it was probably for a different reason that was probably following the lines of torture, pain, and the brunette that was still on the floor. Schneizel's mind could be a scary place sometimes.

I'm glad that we were able to help save their lives, Kallen thought as she watched the scene before her. Ever since our debut, we've taken the world by storm. No matter who they were, if the law did not punish criminals, then we would. But…people won't be able to outwardly support us. Since Infinite killed Prince Clovis. Kallen then let the smile slip and a frown replace it. There are many who want to know his true identity, myself included but I know that…if pushed too hard…Infinite would disappear and take hope of winning with him.

"Hey buddy, haven't seen you around much, lately," Rivalz said while fixing the engine on his bike. He tried to look nonchalant but Schneizel was able to see through it.

"Oh? I guess I have been pretty busy."

Kallen walked down the flight of stairs and was surprised to see C.C. at the door. "Mistress, would you like me to show your guest to the parlor, perhaps?"

"We'll be in my room."

"Oh? Is she a friend of yours? I thought for sure it was a boy. Out all night and missing school. Even your trips to the ghettos. You're lucky your father's back in the homeland." Kallen whipped around and saw her stepmother standing at the top of the stairs, looking down at her.

Kallen said something back to the blonde haired Britannian woman but C.C. ignored the two and instead focused on the woman that had opened the door for her.

The lime haired girl only smiled to the maid and was able to connect a few dots. So, if I am correct, that was Kallen's biological mother and that tramp of a lady was her stepmom, C.C. thought as she followed after Kallen, remembering what was on the letter Ruben had given her to deliver.

The Kururugi then smirked to herself. 'Trips to the ghettos'. 'Out all night'. 'Missing school'. And a Britannian and Japanese half-breed. Hmph! Too bad L.L. said to leave Kallen's secrets alone. The smirk turned predatory as it usually did at the thought of entertainment. It would have been fun to uncover them and drag them out into the open. You got lucky this time, Kallen Kozuki!

...

L.L. smirked to himself as he stared caringly down at the news magazine even though his mind was not on it. "I can't believe you teared up like that, Suzaku. That's so embarrassing."

"It's called 'honesty', L.L. Ow!" Suzaku jerked his hand back and checked it for any sign of bleeding. Arthur had some sharp teeth. The amethyst eyed raven watched Suzaku from the corner of his eyes with a small smile.

"Good thing the White Knights were there to save us. That's all I can really say."

Suzaku carefully moved around the box that held Arthur and turned to face away L.L. and to the wall in front of him. "If they wanted to catch criminals, then they could have joined the police you know." The brunette's face was mostly blank with only slightly narrowed eyes to show his irritation. "Why don't they I wonder."

L.L. frowned slightly before he turned his eyes back to the magazine in front of him; not noticing the pout that was beginning to form from the frown. "They probably think that the police aren't up to the job." Then, just to make sure his point got across, he lowered his head. "I tend to agree."

"The police may not be effective right now, but they could invoke change from the inside," Suzaku said, raising his voice a bit higher than necessary. He turned his head and let his eyes rest on the raven that he loved very dearly yet was getting annoyed with.

L.L. scoffed. "Yeah, but in the process they would get all tangled up in red tape and bureaucracy." His voice seemed disinterested which caused Suzaku to narrow his eyes even further and frown.

"If they had done everything in their power to change things that might hold water. As long as they don't, then all of its just self-righteous posturing!" Suzaku couldn't even feel it as Arthur batted at his brown, curly hair.

"Self-righteous?"

"And what constitutes evil in their eyes? What standards are they using? It's nothing but self satisfying gratification!"

"Stop!" L.L. said as he stood up and slammed down the magazine onto the table. Suzaku flinched at the sound and quickly stood up.

"L.L.?"

The raven himself was smiling kindly back at him and shook his head. Even Suzaku could see that the smile was a bit too forced. "I see we can't even have a mock argument without you getting all passionate about it." Suzaku blinked owlishly back at him.

"Huh?"

L.L. then looked up and put a hand on his chin. "But then again, at least you're not trying to win it by using brute force." Suzaku looked at him in surprise before the purple eyed boy shook his head. "Never mind, that was just a little test of mine. Here," L.L. raised a brown paper bag. "C.C. made you lunch, she told me to give it to you when it was time for you to head to work." Suzaku, confused as to what was going on, took the lunch and let L.L. push him out the door. "And, if you don't hurry, I'm pretty sure you will be late."

"Y-yeah….I guess I should get back to base…" Suzaku said as he walked out of the exit with a dazed look.

As soon as he was out of sight, L.L. frowned and let a sad look appear on his face. "Hey L.L., what are you gloomy about?" Rivalz said as he suddenly appeared beside L.L.

"'Go back to base'? Interesting choice of words," the raven said, not even noticing the grey eyed student was there. "'Go back'…implying that that is where he thinks he belongs…."

Kallen watched the fountain as it spurted out water and realized that much of what Schneizel was telling her now was true.

"Being made a colony of the empire has stabilized Area Eleven's military and economic position in the world. Elevens can even attain full citizenship through the legal process. It's actually quite easy to become an Honorary Britannian. It's just a question of pride really." Schneizel stared into the water, remembering the times before the Occupation. "Though…I can certainly understand why they would resist."

"And?"

"Hm?" Schneizel continued to watch the fountain even as Kallen turned and gave him her complete attention.

"Knowing all that, what does Schneizel Raffiniert think of it all? What do you want to do?"

"Nothing."

The answer was so simple, Kallen felt as if she was just slapped.

"You know, you seem to have a lot of brains but you don't seem to be doing much with them. Even Shirley could see it. She talks about how intelligent you are yet you don't apply yourself!"

"That's why I don't do anything." Schneizel listened to the sound of the water as it rushed by and the birds twittering in the branches of the tree above them. He idly wondered what Kanon was doing at the moment, now that he wasn't there to entertain the peach haired immortal. "That Eleven back there could tell you. He could lead a better life, as long as he bows his head to Britannia. Even L.L. and C.C. Kururugi," Schneizel made sure to put emphasis on their classmates' last name, "understand this. Why do you think they don't correct their teachers or classmates when they call them Ashfords? In fact, why do you think that they even let Mr. Ashford adopt them? If you really think about it, they are quite prideful and—" Schneizel didn't get to finish.

Kallen then realized why her mother stayed as a maid and she didn't want to listen to the "truth" as it was said. So she slapped him. "You must think you're pretty cool, huh? Just playing the critique and judging the world from the sidelines! I guess I was a fool to expect anything more from you. You know I really thought you were a better man than this." And with that, Kallen Stadtfeld walked away with angry stomps.

Schneizel raised a hand and lightly cupped his cheek while a smirk wiped away the expression of pain.

A few days later, Infinite watched as Kallen ran to her mother in the Refrain warehouse. He had to silently admit to himself that he was rather impressed on how she had handled herself with the Knightmare Police.

Corrupted fools, he thought to himself.

To say that Schneizel was suspicious of the gifts Kyoto had sent them would be like saying stay out of shark infested waters while you are bleeding. In other words, it was a no brainer. Though he had to admit, he was glad for the extra support these Knightmares would be lending them.

"Hey! These are Burais aren't they!?"

"Hell yeah! They're like Japanese versions of Glasgows except a hell-of-a lot cooler!"

"Man! We now have some serious muscle!"

"It wasn't easy to sign up with the WK!"

"So that makes us special, right?"

"We're elite now! Haha!"

Schneizel felt slightly irritated at how his subordinates were treating this. But then again, they just some got consideration from Kyoto so he somewhat understood what they were going through.

"Those people from Kyoto. They must really believe in us. They even sent us this." A man (whom Schneizel could not remember for the life of him) said as he stared up at the large, red Knightmare.

"The Guren Mark II," Kallen said in an awed whisper.

"Tamaki-san! Would you show me how to use this?" Tamaki, the idiot, turned to look at the girl that came running up to them.

"Yeah sure." The rest of the group followed them but before Kallen could walk after her friends, the man covered in white stopped her.

"First Tamaki and now the rest are treating this like a party," Schneizel said, the voice modulator not completely covering the bitterness in his voice. He brought out a small box and fiddled with the lock. "Kyoto is backing multiple resistance groups, correct?" Kallen then turned to Infinite with a smile on her face.

"Yes, which means we finally made it in. they know that we're worthy."

"No!" Schneizel said firmly, causing the redhead to flinch slightly. Though most would have been immature and thought it funny that Infinite was standing in between the Guren's red legs, Kallen felt nothing but slight fear and anxiousness overcome her. She vaguely realized that it looked like the Guren was a hellish demon that was standing guard over its white clad master. "You're wrong there, Kallen. This is merely a test they've put to us." The blue eyed teenager gathered her strength and looked back to Infinite with a bit of defiance.

"So what? This is still incredible!"

"You're an optimist." Before she could reply, Kallen was interrupted by the sound of a lock unlocking and barely had time to raise her hand to catch the object Infinite had tossed to her. In her hand, was what looked like a Knightmare key in the shape of a red and white feather. "The Guren MK II is yours now." Kallen was interrupted once again just as she was about to object. Schneizel, knowing what she was about to say, didn't feel like having an argument with the passionate girl. "You're a top-notch pilot. I'm just a commander. I'll use a Burai, but you are our only ace to play in a battle. Besides, you have reason to fight." Kallen gave him a surprised look before smiling and clutching at the key.

"Right."

"Infinite!"

The fiery redhead watched as Ohgi quietly talked to Infinite. After a while, the beady eyed Japanese man pulled back slightly. "So what are we going to do?" By this time every White Knight that was there crowded around them. Schneizel stayed silent as he looked over the information before snapping the book shut.

"This weekend, we're going hiking…to the Narita Mountains."

"What's that unit, holding to the right there?" Euphemia said as she pointed up at the screen that displayed the entire layout of the mountain as well as Cornelia's troops. The icon of the unit itself was a yellow-gold color that stood out against the green and blue of the screen.

"Oh? That is our reserve force with an Eleven pilot."

"What!?" Euphie exclaimed as she turned to the older men. "You mean that's the Lancelot!?" Her flittery thoughts immediately flew to a certain brunette boy with the most expressive green eyes she had ever seen.

"Uh…as a rule, numbers aren't permitted to operate Knightmares but that particular unit is an exception." The pink haired princess looked back with doe-like eyes to the yellow icon as another man spoke. "The fourth princess is patron of that unit." But the princess was no longer listening. Instead, she wondered how Suzaku was doing. She hated the way the man said the word "Eleven" but there was nothing for her to do about it. These were her sister's men not her own, if Cornelia let them speak that way then that was her business. She could only grit her teeth and bear it.

"Has something happened?" Suzaku asked as he twisted around in his seat to get a better look at Lloyd. The scientist only chuckled before waving the teenager away.

"Yes, but it has nothing to do with us so sit tight and continue to look pretty." His careless words caused the brunette to huff before turning back around and continue fiddling with the controls. Lloyd then continue to curse the possibility of that woman's Radiant Wave Surger being used here of all places. He understood that potential of such a weapon and cursed the woman for coming up with it first.

Kallen sighed in relief as she watched the mud and dirt slide from its place and into the Britannian forces below. It had been a success and she was glad for it. Now, all she had to do was fight against some of the best Britannia had to offer, win, and then they would be home free. She felt angry that Infinite would do such a thing as cutting off their escape routes and make them fight but she also knew the necessity of it. They needed Cornelia and some real battle experience. What better way than charging in like this, right?

"Excuse me, pardon me, I SAID MOVE IT!"

Suzaku flinched as Lloyd appeared behind him; practically yelling into his ear. "Alright, alright, I'm moving." The brunette watched with confused eyes as the lavender haired scientist typed in a large amount of passcodes and whatnot which created a blackened screen on the monitor before him. It stayed black for a few seconds longer before Euphemia's wide purple eyes appeared before him.

"Well, hello there~! ASEEC's crew reporting for duty~!"

"Insolence!"

"Your orders were to keep silence and observe!"

Suzaku continued to stare straight into Euphie's eyes, unsure about the message he was trying to convey. Even as Cecile began to speak respectfully to the men that also appeared, Suzaku did not break eye contact for a second. Finally, after realizing that he and Euphemia did not seem to share the same telepathic powers he and L.L. had, Suzaku spoke up with a firm voice. "Sub-Viceroy Euphemia, I beseech you, please order us into the battle."

"How dare you! You only want the glory of rescuing the Viceroy!"

"Our whole army is out there! Do you truly think that one unit is going to change things!? With an Eleven pilot, no less!?" Though he didn't look, the green eyed teenager knew that Lloyd was rolling his eyes.

"Right, right, but I do not see the harm in trying. Since it's just one unit, it will not look terrible on you if we do not succeed." Suzaku continued to stare at the screen as if trying to will the pink haired princess to let him go. It apparently worked.

"Yes, I understand. Please do everything in your power."

Before Suzaku could express his gratitude, Lloyd yelled a quick "thank you" before closing the screen and eliminating all ties to their superiors. "You heard her, Suzaku! We got it!"

Suzaku, though he was quite exasperated with Lloyd's blatant rudeness, nodded and smiled gratefully. "Yes, I promise not to let you guys down!"

Schneizel felt his lip curl up in anger, frustration, and disgust at the mere sight of the damned white Knightmare. He could vaguely feel himself begin to tremble and the pent up emotions now clouding his judgment. "Again…..It's him again!?" The blonde was able to see the ugly expression he was making in the reflective surface of the monitor before him; yet, really, he didn't give a damn.

Feeling "slightly" pissed off, he opened fire on the cursed Knightmare.

"MK II, destroy that unit immediately! It has interfered with us enough!"

After what felt like a small eternity of fighting, Suzaku had to hold in the bitter snicker that threatened to appear as he watched the red Knightmare slip and fall off the small cliff they had been fighting on. He knew that violence and war and such were terrible things but he could not help but feel sick satisfaction as his enemy gracelessly fell into the dirt and mud. He won this round and felt an emotion he had not felt since he was ten. Pride.

Pride for what? He did not know. It was similar to the pride he felt whenever he battled it out with his sensei and got in a hit. Yet this analogy caused him to let a scowl appear. If the pilot was being likened to his sensei, then he was practically admitting that the damned stranger was better than him. This caused Suzaku to grit his teeth and turn away even though he wanted to jump down after the White Knight and take him out for good.

He still had to go after Infinite after all.

Schneizel stood there in disbelief and anger as he faced the white Knightmare. The wind blew across the war-made clearing and ruffled his cape. Yet it only made the Knightmare-sized gun pointing at him seem all the more intimidating.

Suzaku could not stop hating this situation. Even as he reported his situation to the command center, his voice was dull and emotionless. Infinite…I owe you; I know that. You've helped save L.L., C.C., and my friends; I know that too. There are a lot of Elevens supporting you from the shadows….but….your methods are…

Suzaku fingered the controls nervously before stopping completely as he let his resolve fill him.

It was then that the green eyed pilot saw something he couldn't believe. There, walking towards the Lancelot was the peach haired stranger from Shinjuku. The man walked calmly towards him, as if he wasn't going to face a large killing machine.

And then, before he even knew what hit him, Suzaku felt as if the entire world was passing him by. Images flews past his head and he felt as if the very oxygen was being sucked out of his lungs. When it finally stopped, he was surrounded by white. And there was a man before him. A memory stirred as he tried to figure out what was going on. The man was colored in black, white, and shades of grey. Suzaku then noticed some things about the black and white room he was in. And then, when he saw the cursed ornamental samurai knife, he knew exactly where he was.

The moment he remembered, the man began to turn and face him, a scowl adorning his face.

"F-…F-…Father….b-b-b-but…you're dead….that is—this is….it's impossible…" The man then began to walk closer, his expression was transforming from a scowl into a full blown sneer while his beady eyes narrowed into an ugly glare. Even as he shook, Suzaku was able to make out the sound of a clock ticking in the back ground and the clacking sound the shoes made with every step. It made the man before him seem all the more intimidating. "I….I…I—no…I didn't mean to…I! I just-!"

Suddenly, images flooded his mind once more; except that these images were in full color. Two of them stood out amongst them. One was of two women and a little girl. From the quick look that he got, Suzaku was able to see a blonde haired woman in a salmon pink dress while the other had long, wavy black hair and stood in a blue dress. The little girl was smiling up at the two women while her little hands clutched at her light green dress. Though they were too far away, Suzaku was able to tell that they were all quite beautiful.

Yet their beauty did nothing to stop the flinch of fear that came from the shocked brunette when their image faded to that of his father's.

He collapsed to the floor and clutched at his curls. "I HAD TO DO IT!"

At the sound of a gasp, Suzaku looked up from his place on the floor. He had less than three seconds to take in the boy before him. Certain things reminded the green eyed pilot of L.L., but during the last millisecond, he realized that the other boy's features resembled someone else's. Schneizel…?

The boy then disappeared. And he was replaced by something much worse.

A cloud of smoke filled his vision. Something so cheesy would have usually made him chuckle but this…this was definitely no laughing matter. A squiggly line replaced it. It made a symbol he had seen before but before he could sear the line into his memory, the image faded to that of a grandfather clock ticking. Suddenly, a light replaced the clock as it shot out into what seemed to be the sky before a ceiling replaced the light.

Such simple things were not scary by themselves but they did nothing but stab fear into the young man's heart. When he finally found himself in a crowd of moving people, Suzaku found he could not contain his fear anymore. He let out a rather shrilly scream that nearly pierced his own eardrums. It was then that he realized that his scream joined that of millions of others.

Schneizel practically jerked away along with Kanon as the white Knightmare moved back and began to shoot into the air; firing at enemies only it could see. When he saw where the Knightmare sized gun was pointing at, the blonde threw his body at the immortal "LOOK OUT!" He was able to roll them safely away just as the ground exploded into a cloud of dirt and sharp rocks.

Suzaku stayed staring with wide eyes at the control panel before him. Though he didn't realize it, his hands were shaking terribly even as Lloyd, Cecile, and Euphemia tried to calm him down. In his mind's eye, he was still in that room…with that man…and with that ornamental knife in his bloodied hand.

Comments:

I am completely sorry for not updating in who knows how long! I had family problems with my parentals, and then I had to get ready for my finals. I was going to update the weekend before my finals but then I got hit by a really bad cold/fever/disease/whatever-its-called-when-you-feel-really-tired-and-you-have-a-fever-and-you're-throwing-up-and-you-basically-want-to-die! So, the last few days of my finals really sucked, and then my dad and little sister leave me to go to Guatemala! I wanted to go! Ugh, anyways, sorry for the late update and I hope you like. I'll get to my other stories as soon as I can.

Just wondering, can any of you guess who the women were?

REVIEW, PLEASE!
