It didn't help that my muse refused to help even bribing with cookies didn't get her attention. Anyways, sorry for those that were waiting, I'll try to be faster next time. Also, thank you to those that reviewed they are always nice to read. Now on with the story, enjoy!

Lyon woke with a pounding headache. He blinked a few times to clear his blurry vision and took in his surroundings. He noticed he was chained to a stone wall by his wrist, which were behind his back. He was resting on his knees and he was still bruised up from his earlier fight with Akane. He jerked upward with a start when he recalled his fight with Akane and how he had found Gray and everything. He looked around his gloomy, stone cell (even the door was stone), almost frantically, and saw Gray near him but not near enough to reach. His heart caught in his throat when he saw that Gray was lying on the hard, stone floor and definitely looking worse than before. Lyon swears his heart stopped beating for a moment when it seemed like Gray wasn't even breathing. However Gray suddenly let out a small groan and Lyon relaxed slightly, glad that at least Gray was still alive. Lyon noticed that Gray's legs were chained to the wall but not his wrist though he supposed it didn't matter as his own chains were magic sealing and so he figured Gray's chains would be too. So he doubted Gray or he could use their magic. Lyon studied Gray's sleeping form trying to deduce how badly injured Gray was. Gray's naked torso was bruised black and blue and Lyon worried about broken ribs, his lip busted and bleeding, his eyes bruised and cuts covered his body. Lyon was surprised by how worried he was for Gray's well-being. He knew Gray and he had gotten closer after their fight on Galuna Island and after the event with Orion Seis, but still he surprised himself with the worry he felt when he first saw Gray that badly beat up. As he watched Gray move slightly and groan in pain again Lyon was coming to the realization that he was willing to do anything to get Gray out of here alive, if he could only figure out a plan. He would protect his younger brother.

A few minutes later, Lyon still had no real plan of what to do and saw Gray was fully awake and trying to push himself up onto his knees. Gray didn't seem to notice Lyon was there yet. Once Gray had managed to get up onto his knees and tried to use his magic, to no avail, he looked around the cell and his eyes widened in shock when he saw Lyon caught in the same horrible place with him. Gray's voice sounded hoarse and panicky, "No, this can't be happening, how did he get you too, Lyon? You really shouldn't be here."

"Well that's the thanks I get for trying to help find you. Gray do you know what exactly this guy's plan is? Why is he after ice mages?"

After a moment of thinking Gray replied, "I'm not too sure what the big picture of his plan is; all I know is that he is draining me of my magic until there is very little left and then his lackeys help to restore my magic and they wait a bit before they drain me again. He also has injected me with strange drugs that he told me would give me more magical energy, he must he some kind of chemist. Also he must need a lot of magical energy for whatever it is he is trying to power and ice magic at that, but that is all I know. I'm not even sure how much more magic he will need or if there are other ice mages here besides us. Sorry I'm not much more help."

Lyon's voice shook with anger at what Akane put Gray through, "I'll kill that bastard!" Then slightly calmer, "Don't worry Gray, we will get out. And you helped enough with the info for us to know that whatever it is wouldn't be good. Though I don't understand why he needs more than one ice mage. But it doesn't matter now, all that matters is finding a way out of here before things get real bad and making Akane pay."

Gray managed a small, shaky smile at Lyon's words and the slight reassurance in them. Gray, while not thrilled that Lyon was in this mess with him, was kind of glad he wasn't alone in this anymore and it gave him some hope back that they could make it out of this mess. Lyon caught Gray's smile and graced him with one of his own in return. The two shared a few moments of peaceful silence, each caught up in their own thoughts. Then Gray suddenly spoke up, "I don't suppose you have any kind of plan to get us out of here?"

Lyon sighed dejectedly, "I'm working on it. At least Nastu, Lucy, and Happy are still out there looking."

"Well, you may want to work on it faster; Akane doesn't seem to follow a certain schedule so we don't know how much time we will have."

"I kn—Lyon was interrupted by the cell door opening and one of Akane's lackeys entering the cell.

The lackey went straight towards Gray with a needle in hand and, fast as lighting, stuck the needle in Gray's arm; injecting some strange drug in his bloodstream. Gray couldn't stop the gasp of pain from escaping as the drug made him feel like he was burning up from the inside out. Lyon moved forward trying to reach Gray and forgetting about the chains holding him back; he growled at the lackey "What was that you gave him?"

The man replied "Nothing you need to worry about, that was made especially for him so you wouldn't be getting an injection yet. At least not until Akane gets to play with you first, like he did with your friend."

With that the lackey left their cell and Lyon was left to watch Gray suffer. Gray was now lying on the floor, panting in pain, and arms clutched around his stomach and he was sweating as well. Lyon clenched his fist in anger and frustration; he looked away from Gray not wanting to keep watching him suffer. Lyon knew he needed to get them out of there soon or else it wouldn't be good for Gray, but he wasn't having any luck figuring out a plan. He needed more time than they had and it pissed him off to no end that he couldn't help Gray now while he was suffering. Lyon was also pissed that Gray was relying on him to get them out of this mess and he was failing at that, he was failing at protecting his younger brother. He knocked his head, lightly, against the stone wall trying to think of a plan but after what felt like hours but was more around 30 minutes Lyon grew tired and decided that maybe some sleep would help him think. After checking as best as he could on Gray; and seeing that Gray was asleep now too, he closed his eyes and was soon asleep.

Elsewhere; Nastu, Lucy, and Happy were at their wits end trying to find Gray and now Lyon too. They had decided that they needed to call on Master for help.

~TBC~

Note: Now I'm not even sure how they are going to get out of this mess either . Any ideas would be appreciated .
