Note: So so sorry for taking such a long time to update. I was just stuck for a bit and got sidetracked some. Thank you for those that have favorite, followed, and reviewed this story, it means a lot. Now on with the story, enjoy!
Natsu, Lucy, and Happy came to a stop outside of what looked like an old, abandoned house. When they contacted Master Makarov and explained what was going on (or what they knew at least) the master talked with Levy, Erza, and some of the other members to figure out how to track down the evil mage's magic. After some time the others found the location of the mages and told Natsu and the others. So with that Natsu, Lucy, and Happy came to this house where they were told the dark mages were. As they approached the entrance, the front door burst open and ten dark mages surrounded them. Once of the mages asked "What are you pests doing here?"
Natsu, hands burning with fire, growled "You have our friends. We're going to kick your butt and get them back!" With that Natsu, Lucy, and Happy charged toward the dark mages.
Meanwhile:
While Natsu and the others were busy Lyon was woken by "breakfast" being thrown into the cell. Lyon turned towards Gray to see him groggily waking as well. After a few minutes of Gray composing himself Gray spoke up, "Any idea of a plan yet?"
Lyon, relieved that Gray was still alive, sighed "No, unfortunately."
It was silent for a few moments until one of the lackeys entered the cell and roughly grabbed Gray, locking his hands behind his back and taking off the ankle chains. Lyon, pulling at his own chains, shouted "Where are you taking him!?"
The lackey just ignored him as he dragged Gray out the door. Lyon felt panic tear at him anew causing him to pull even harder at his chains. His wrists were bleeding now and he was trying to call his magic forth but no matter what he tried the magic sealing chains wouldn't let him use his magic. Lyon felt frustration and hopelessness sink in, he couldn't figure a way out and now they were most likely hurting Gray. He slumped against the chains, his fight leaving him. He swore if Gray died here because of those mages he would find a way to escape and make them pay if it was the last thing he did. The cell door busting open, with a fiery bang, interrupted Lyon's thoughts as he saw Natsu, Lucy, and Happy enter the cell. Natsu, seeing just Lyon here, asked "Hey silver ice block where is Gray?"
Before Lyon could speak Lucy slapped Natsu upside the head as she said "Natsu we should make sure Lyon is ok before asking questions, he was taken too after all."
Natsu grumbled, while rubbing his head, "Yeah, but he looks alright to me."
Lyon spoke before Lucy could reply, "I can speak for myself and I'm fine; we have more important matters at head, so if you two are done with your silly agreement get these chains off me!"
Natsu nodded and quickly broke the chains with a fire dragon's punch. Lyon was rubbing his bleeding wrist, glad to be free of those chains, when Lucy asked "So do you know where Gray is?"
Lyon sighed in frustration, "No, they took him from here not to long before you guys came but they wouldn't say where of course."
Lucy replied "I see, so what is the plan now?"
Lyon voiced, "We don't really have time for anything and I know splitting up didn't really work last time but I think it would be best to go in pairs and search the house."
The others agreed, so with that Lucy and Natsu went one way and Lyon and Happy went another. Before they split Lyon had explained to the others that these mages were tricky, didn't fight fair, and had some sort of drug that they might use so be careful. Around after five minutes of running, fighting some mages, and checking rooms Lyon came up to the last room in the hallway. As he and Happy entered the huge room, Lyon saw a scene he wouldn't forget any time soon. Gray was attached to a weird machine in the middle of the room and looked to be in serious pain while Akane wasn't too far away. Luckily Lyon and Happy had not been seen yet, Lyon pulled Happy back out of the doorway and told him to go find Natsu and Lucy as quick as possible. With that Happy took off and Lyon turned back to the horrific scene. Of course, he was the one to stumble across Akane and Gray, but he was just fine with that because he was going to make Akane pay. He had failed to protect Gray once he wasn't going to again. He had seen Gray badly hurt, he wasn't going to see him lifeless and dead. He would win this fight, he just had too, losing would cost too much.
