No worries, I'll twist later. As in, this chapter.

"Are you okay?" The young man extended his hand out.

"Um... I'm fine," Erza blushed. Never in her life had she fallen down like this. She took his hand and accidentally pulled him down onto the rowboat.

"Ah! Sorry! I'm not usually like this! But, you know, the festivities and everything really... uh... excited me and uh... yeah..." Erza rambled. She looked away, inwardly cursing herself for acting like this.

"Are you from here?" the young man asked. "I'm Jellal, by the way." He extended his hand, again, to shake her's.

Erza looked back at him and noticed his blue hair and red tattoo around his right eye. "I'm Erza. I live in the castle..." She shook his hand.

Jellal jumped with surprise. So this was the future queen. "Excited for your coronation?"

Erza blinked and stared at him, until she finally got it. "Oh! It's my sister's, not mine. She's older than me."

"The gates are opened!" the a woman cried out.

"Oh! I have to go!" Erza jumped off the boat.

"I'll see you at the party?" Jellal asked.

"See you there!" Then, she ran along the bridge to the castle.

Jellal weakly waved and turned to his horse. "Alright. Let's move."

If horses could smirk, his would. His horse nudged him playfully. "Meredy, stop." He swung his leg across the saddle and picked up the reins. "Let's go."

Erza ran down the aisle of the building. Her sword swished against the fabric of her dress. A few people pointed at her and stared at the sword, but she ignored them all. Mira was already standing and waiting. Her snow colored hair was French braided into a bun. Her longer bangs were twisted and pinned on her head, while her shorter ones were brushed to the side. The dark purple dress had turned into black and blue one. A purple cape fell all the way to the floor and longer. Some people filed in and took their seats. Mira then bowed her head and a crown was placed in her hair.

The priest held the orb and scepter out to Mira. She took a deep breath and reached out to take them. The priest coughed and looked pointedly at her hands. Mira grimaced and took off her gloves. She placed them on the pillow and picked up the items. She faced the crowd and grit her teeth.

Hurry please! she thought. The man started to recite the words and ice began to form on the orb and scepter. Mira quickly placed them back onto the pillow.

"Queen Mira," the crowd repeated.

A few hours later, the party began. Music was playing, men and women were dancing. The music stopped and the attendant announced Mira's arrival. She smiled at the crowd and Erza's name was said.

Erza walked onto the elevated platform and gripped the handle of her sword. She awkwardly smiled, not used to being in front of so many people.

The audience clapped and cheered and the party resumed.

"Hi. It's been awhile," Mira said. She looked at the floor.

"H-hi. You look beautiful. Well, I should have guessed you would. I mean, it's been years! Haha..." Erza weakly replied. She tucked a stray lock behind her ear and looked away.

"Thank you. You look beautiful, too."

"Thank you. Um... It's... nice today. And the party, it's wonderful so far." Erza began scolding herself. What an awkward thing to say when she hadn't even enjoyed the party, yet.

"Mmm. Something smells amazing!" The sisters sniffed the air and both exclaimed different things. "Chocolate!" "Strawberry cake!"

They looked at each other and blinked. Mira began to say something, but was introduced to someone.

"Your Highness, may I present the Prince of Pegasus."

"Ah, Your Highness! You have a lovely parfum!" He sniffed the air around the sisters. "You do as well, Princess!"

Shocked, the sisters glanced at each other. Were parties supposed to be like this?

"Your Highness, may I have a dance with you?" he continued.

"I don't dance," Mira replied. She nudged Erza and said, "But Erza does!"

Erza opened her mouth to protest, but the man cut her off by grabbing her arm. He lead to the middle of the dance floor. The young woman looked at her sister, who only smiled in return.

"Parfum! Parfum!" he chanted. He walked around her and spun himself, glittering flying off of his hair.

Erza gripped her sword and started glancing around the room. How had she gotten stuck with him?

"... what do you think?" he asked.

Panic hit Erza. What had he been saying? "Could you repeat that?"

"Of course! Marriage!"

"Who's marriage?"

"Ours'!"

"What?! Excuse me, I need to go."

Not waiting for an answer, the redhead ran out of the room. She stopped at a balcony above the ballroom. What a crazy day! The gates opened, she saw Mira, and now, a marriage proposal from a stranger.

"Hey! I found you!"

Erza turned around and pointed at the stranger. "Who are you? Show your face!"

"It's Jellal," he answered.

"My apologies," Erza said. She strapped her sword back onto her dress.

"So, what are you doing here? Tired of the party already?"

"No, I just needed a break."

"Your sister's the queen now. How's it feel?"

"The same. I hardly saw her as a child. We used to be really close, but she just shunned me on day. So, do you have any siblings?"

"An older brother, an older sister, and a younger sister. We're kinda close, kinda not."

"What do you mean?"

"My brother, Laxus, we used to go riding a lot, but we stopped after he turned 11. My older sister, Ultear, we talk and fight. My younger sister, Wendy, we stopped talking after my aunt started teaching her medicine and health."

"Oh. Do you want to go back in? Mira might be looking for me."

"Lead the way."

"What do you mean?" Mira frantically asked.

"Your sister and I are getting married. We can unite the kingdoms! Unless, you, Your Highness, would like to take her place," the Prince of Pegasus replied.

Just then, Erza entered the ballroom, with Jellal next to her.

"Erza!" Mira walked over to her sister.

"Hi. This is Jellal," she replied.

"Pleasure to meet you, Your Highness," Jellal bowed.

"As I am. Erza, are you really getting married?" Mira asked.

"WHAT?!" Erza exclaimed. "Who told you that?"

"Erza, I won't give my blessing. Y-you can't marry a man you just met!"

"B-but, I'm not getting married!"

"Erza, please, you don't have to lie. I still won't give my blessing!" Mira turned away.

"Mira! Listen!" Erza ran over to her and grabbed her wrist.

"Let go of me. I won't change my mind. I'm sorry, but no. The party's over, too."

Frustrated, Erza pulled away. "Mira, stop!" She grabbed her sister's wrist again and accidentally pulled off her glove when Mira pulled away.

Mira panicked. "Give it back!"

"Not until you listen to me!" Erza yelled. The guests began to stare and whisper.

"Stop!" She clutched her head in agony. Her head was throbbing.

"Mira!"

Out of the blue, Mira unleashed a dark blue stream of ice magic. The jagged spikes blocked the entrance. "S-stay away from me!" With that, she pushed open the door and ran.

Meanwhile, the guests panicked. This was the queen?

Outside, Mira dodged and weaved her way in and out of the crowds. She ignored the compliments and kept pushing through. Hesitantly, she looked back and saw the guards running along the bridge.

"There she is!" she heard them say.

"Your Majesty!" "Congratulations!" "You look beautiful!" A crowd circled around her and she backed into a fountain. Her free hand touched the cement and the entire structure froze. The crowd leaped back.

She saw the opening and ran until she reached the ports. Her foot tapped the shoreline and a small section turned to ice. Then, she placed her whole foot on the surface and it froze as well. Without looking back, she ran.

"Send the guards!" the Prince of Pegasus shouted.

"No! Stop!" Erza screamed.

The guards charged down the bridge anyway. Erza ran after them, ordering them to stop. She saw Mira freeze the ocean and the weather turned cold and snowy.

"Get inside!" the servants told Erza. They restrained her and pushed her back inside.

Out of breath, she paused and made a split second decision. "I'm going after her. Get my horse ready."

"I shall go after her. It was my fault. I told her about the marriage too soon," the Prince of Pegasus interjected.

"No, she's my sister. She won't hurt me," Erza countered. She pretended not to hear the last part. Her horse was brought to her and she pulled herself onto the saddle.

"Jellal's in charge. No one is to go after me," Erza announced.

"Erza... Are you really getting married?" Jellal asked.

"No. You're in charge. Make sure everyone's warm," she replied.

"Alright. Be careful," he said.

The young woman nodded her head and flicked the reins. Time to save her sister.

So, that's chapter 2!
