"This is a bad idea, Yin!" Kyousuke stated as the two of them stepped out of the building and headed toward their ship girls, all of whom seemed to getting along fine with each other now.

"It will work!" Yin Replied, his steps long and his intent obvious as he walked directly toward the docks.

"But if it doesn't then you-."

"It will work!"

"How do you know, Yin? If it doesn't-,"

"It will!"

"How do you know!" Kyousuke hissed as he caught up to Yin and grabbed his shoulder, forcibly spinning him around. "How, do, you, know, it, will, work?!"

Yin looked at Kyousuke and sighed. "I don't' know, but I can feel it in my gut. It'll work. We'll make it work. The plan is good."

"Good?" It's entirely dependent on too many unknowns. I don't know how well the shells will work and I don't even know where to begin with the rest of it!"

"I know that, Kyousuke!" Yin suddenly hissed, "I know it has many variables, and I know it sounds impossible, if not fanciful, but it's true. I just need to try, so please, back me up on this!"

Kyousuke looked at Yin for a moment before sighing. "I don't know how you get me to agree to this crap. Fine, but if it looks like things are going sour I'm pulling the plug on this entire idea, alright?"

"I can agree to that, so let's get moving." Yin said with a nod as he ran up to the dock with new speed to his steps. "Everyone get ready, we move out now! We're taking Kyousuke's speedboat so can you throw me that wrapped bag, Musashi?" Yin yelled as he jumped down into the boat.

Musashi nodded as she leapt off the dock and onto the water before reaching into the boat and picking up a tightly wrapped cloth bag. The bag was long and narrow, and far heavier than one might think it would be. She knew what it was, and the simple fact of the Admiral bringing it along made her wonder as she tossed it to him. "What formation are we to take, Admiral?"

Yin put the wrapped package down by the passenger seat and looked at Musashi as Kyousuke jumped into the boat, albeit more carefully than Yin had. "Five ship diamond formation around the speedboat, Wo, get in and take off your headgear."

All of Yin's ships looked at another, especially Wo, as Kyousuke barked orders to his own girls and started up the boats motor. "But why? I should be helping everyone." Wo asked as she stepped over to the speed boat and put both hands on the side.

"I'll explain on the way. Let's go!" Yin yelled to Kyousuke as Wo got into the boat and carefully took off her headgear, placing it on the floor in front of her. Seconds later the speedboat and both Yin and Kyousuke's ships headed out toward the battle that raged in the distance, the battle against Bladereef Hime.

The once tranquil ocean had been turned into a warzone. Heavy waves and rough seas pounded the entire zone while deep black clouds covered the sky, raining torrents of heavy water down upon them. The debris and flotsam of damaged ship equipment, broken shells fragments and oil floated on the water's surface, some of the oil pools burning brightly and providing the only light around the zone. Dozens of fleets ranging from small scouting and exploration fleets, to fleets made entirely of massive battleship groups and carriers moved around the zone, all of them trying to do the same thing, reach their target in the center of the zone.

No one could see the zone's center where their target resided, and the numerous I-class, Chi-class and Ri-class made it difficult for even the strongest fleets present. They would not be a challenge in a one on one battle, but their numbers, combined with the horrendous weather made it a battlefield out of hell. Already more than half of the fleets that had come had retreated, taking severe wounds and in many cases loses to their fleets. Only the strongest , most unforgiving, and intelligent admirals were still on the field of battle with their ships, but none of them seemed to be able to break through.

Yuudachi swallowed hard as she looked along-side the other ships. The waters were thick with death, and they could even see the unconscious heavily damaged forms of other ship girls floating nearby. The entire situation made her feel strange, like an unknown disgusting glee was slowly building inside of her. "This, does not look good, Poi."

"Y-yeah. This Musashi does not feel safe just being on these waters, but our objective is before us. This Musashi is unsure about the plan though."

"The plan will work. We just need to get close to Bladereef Hime. Get ready, we'll spearhead right through them, no stopping , no resting, help each other take out targets, but no one stops moving, even to fire!" Yin roared, making sure everyone could hear him.

A few moments later all of the ships had nodded and all of the destroyers had gotten into groups of three to help each other. Hearing their confirmations, Kyousuke pressed forward, pushing his boats speed to its absolute limit while using all of his skill to navigate the rough sea. In seconds the speedboat and all of the ship girls were headed right into the eye of the storm, nearby fleets looking on in surprise and shook at their actions. Then the Abyssal came out to play. A wall of dozens of I-class destroyers and a half dozen Chi-class torpedo cruisers leapt from the waters, their glares fixed on all of the girls. Before they could even fire though, both Musashi and Ru let loose barrages of fire, and the destroyers joined in. As they passed where the line had been it was obvious many of them had not been killed but they were dazed and damaged, and did not impede their progress, though some destroyers took a moment to take pot shots at some of them.

"Heh, we're making good progress. The other fleets have weakened their numbers nicely." Yin muttered to himself as he stood beside Kyousuke, his arm gripping his blade's handle snugly.

"Admiral, This Musashi can see three Ri-class, port side!" Musashi called as she aimed her guns toward them, merely awaiting the order.

"We're almost there. The other fleets lowered their numbers and are keeping the Abyssal attention. Do not let them slow us down. Blow them out of existence.

A second later the cacophonous sound of dozens of guns beckoned through the air, and one of the Ri-class was blown into fragments, the other two reeling back from the force of fire focused on them.

They continued forward , ignoring the wounded and reeling Abyssal. A lightning bolt flashed across the sky, illuminating the dark surroundings, and their target far ahead of them. Standing in the middle of the storm, was the dark silhouette of Bladereef Hime, her single visible eye glowing a deep horrid green in the dark air. She looked just like the picture and the reports, the facemask of a Chi-class, and a deep black jacket and skirt with long wickedly hooked blades in both hands. They couldn't see any depth charges tied to her thighs though, meaning she had already used them.

"Alright, here we go. Wo, get ready to move in, we're ending this!" Yin called out as he stepped away from Kyousuke's seat.

Wo nodded as she stood up and prepared to leap off of the boat. She hadn't been in combat without her headgear before, and as the only thing she was carrying was her staff. She almost felt naked in a way. Stepping toward the ship's edge, Wo knew what she had to do and was ready, even if Blade Reef Hime was Tenryuu, if she couldn't be saved, then she would have to sink her.

"Wait, Wo. Use this instead!" Yin said as he stepped up beside Wo in bare feet and handed her the wrapped package.

Wo looked at the package for a moment before unwrapping it, and looking on in shock at it's contents. Tenryuu's sword. "But this is-.."

Yin nodded. "Tenryuu's blade, it may just help bring her back. So let's go!" Yin exclaimed as he drew his own blade, its jade like color and texture almost glowing in the darkness that surrounded them.

"What? You're, but that's-.." Wo began to say, but could not finish as Yin leapt out of the boat and landed on top of the water, his feet holding onto its surface like any ship girl's would.

"I'll explain what I can later. Lets save Tenryuu first!"

Wo looked at Yin for many seconds, surprised that he was on the water, but quickly regained her composure and looked out toward Bladereef Hime with a look of rage and passion before leaping from the boat and landing beside Yin, "Yes. . . Tenryuu-onee-san, I will save you!"

Authors note: And then the battle is joined! Sorry had to; I know a lot of people were expecting the battle right away, but because of how the battle is being written I decided it was better to have the greatest and most important majority of the combat in one chapter.

On a different note, the poll I've had up has proven very telling and is helping me greatly, as I have decided what kind of kantai fic I my write next. People do not like the idea of the ships on land, or tank girls apparently, and lelouch did not have the charisma. The idea for nagato as an abyssal has proven strongest, but on that note, the concept has changed bit. I won't say how exactly but it won't follow nagato because I'll be using a more useful and underused character. I'll say more on that when this fic finishes. But I will thank everyone for their votes on the poll. It was very helpful and informing, telling me people want more tuff with the abyss.

Thank you again, and I hope everyone enjoyed the chapter and looked forward to those to come.
