Here we are with the 5th chapter of the story!
Before we begin, I want to thank all the guest reviewers who reviewed the story as I can't thank you guys personally. Also, one of them asked if Shadow will be in this story. Well, sorry to say, but Shadow won't be in this story. Don't get me wrong, I like Shadow just as much as the other guy, but I don't think he will fit in this story and if I can't include him in a way that will make sense/be necessary, I might as well not put him in at all. I'm not BigRedButton(Sorry, I had to to...)
Anyway, I think we got side-tracked enough. On with the show!
Eggman was piloting his Egg-Mobile high in the dark night sky, guiding it over the city of San-Fransokyo. After his loss against Sonic and that group of teenagers, the doctor had decided it was time to build some new and better robots. Judging by the tech he saw in the video back in his new base, and the robot in armor accompanying the teenagers, it was safe to assume that robotics have advanced a lot in that time period. So, it was time to build a new army of robots, one that's more deadly than the old badniks, in order to help him get the rest of the Chaos Emeralds.
As Eggman was deep in his thoughts on the matter, his robotic side-kicks have noticed that the emerald they already held in their position was glowing with a bright red light.
"Hey, boss? The emerald is glowing; pheraps there is another one near our location." Orbot pointed out, causing Eggman to lower his flying vehicle's altitude.
Once he reached close enough to the ground, Eggman grabbed the emerald in his hand and jumped out of the Egg-Mobile. He held the emerald in front of him and started heading forward towards an alley, Orbot and Cubot cowardly following him as he continued on.
Eventually, Eggman has found what he was looking for. The pink Chaos Emerald has found a hiding in a brown and abounded carton box, located at the end of the alley. The mad genius picked it up from the box with an evil grin. His plan was slowly, but surly, starting to form. Now, he could use the two emeralds in his possession in order to activate the portal back at the base.
But before Eggman could have started a celebration for the occasion, a frustrated yell was heard not too far away and cut his train of thought.
"What was that!?" Cubot asked as he hid behind his orb-like friend. Eggman mentioned for his robots to be quit as he moved towards the direction where the noise came from.
Picking out from the alley they were in, Eggman and his two robots have witnessed a large fat man with smooth and short black hair coming out of a police station. The loud scream he let out once he stepped outside the station was near identical to the same scream they have just heard a few seconds ago.
"Oh, it's just a fat person, nothing that should be taken seriously." Eggman sighed at how Cubot always seems to panic, even when there is nothing to be panicking about.
"Hey!" The man screamed at Eggman, who was just about to head back towards the Egg-Mobile with the emerald he had found. "You dare call Yama fat!?" He asked the scientist.
"I guess… do you see anyone else who's fat around here?" Eggman asked the man, who was apparently called Yama, and causing Orbot to face palm himself.
Without any further notice, Yama lunched himself at Eggman and the two started to wrestle each other on the sidewalk. Eggman attempted to kick Yama, but it didn't seem to have any influence on the massive man.
While Eggman had a big body build, Yama towered him by quite a lot. The man's size was used to his advantage as he forced Eggman to the ground and attempted to head-butt him. "Don't just stand there, you pathetic piles of bolts! Help me!" Eggman yelled at Orbot and Cubot, who watched the events from the side while Yama strangled the doctor.
"First this little kid with the spikey hair and his gang of freaks put me in jail, and now you dare calling me fat, you mustached human ball!?" Yama screamed as his gripe around of Eggman's neck tightened.
While fighting to keep his breath in check, Yama's words have entered into Eggman's ears. The sound of them gave the doctor a bit of energy to escape Yama's grab, as he realized he might actually have a friend in this aggressive man. "Hold on!" Eggman shouted in order to stop Yama from attacking him anymore.
"Was this gang of freaks accompanied by a robot in red armor?" He asked quickly, causing Yama to stop his actions and stare at the doctor.
"Do you know them?"
Eggman grinned and let out a sly giggle as a plan formed in his mind. "We seem to have a common enemy, Mr. Yama. You see, I came across this gang you speak of," He said before continuing. "They seem to hold something that I seek, but my robots were no match for them."
"I'm listening…" Yama said to Eggman, who told him what his intentions were with the Big Hero 6 team.
Sonic was running around the streets of San-Fransokyo with Tails flying a bit above his head and Knuckles following a bit behind him. It has been a few days since their encounter with the group of Super Heroes and so far, they have managed to find one more Chaos Emerald in addition to the one they found upon arrival.
With two of the seven emeralds in their possession and one with Big Hero 6, that meant three Chaos Emeralds for the good guys to Eggman's one single emerald. Once the group thought about it, they realized that by teaming up with Big Hero 6 they could probably find the rest of the magical gems faster than the mad scientist could on his own. Thus, foiling his plans quicker.
One night, as they were looking around the city for either Big Hero 6 or the rest of the emeralds, Tails noticed a flying robot blasting through the sky and what looked like a human-sized monster jumping up and down while matching the robot's altitude with each jump.
"Sonic, I think I see them!" Tails called from the sky. "They are just ahead of us."
"All right, let's talk business with them, then." Sonic answered before he picked up his speed in order to catch up with the group.
Tails picked up some speed in order to catch up with Baymax. Hiro riding on the robot's back and when the fox caught up, he called for his attention.
Hiro, not expecting to see the flying fox catching up with his robot, let out a small yelp as he saw Tails flying beside them.
"I have heard a sound of panic." Baymax said as he stopped its movement and aimed its rocket fist at Tails. "Will hurting the source of panic improve your emotional state?" The robot asked as Tails put his hands up in a panic.
"Whoa! No, Baymax!" Hiro stopped his robot from attacking, panicked that the robot will hurt Tails. "It's the fox from a few days ago. He is friendly." Hiro then faced Tails with a nervous smile and pointed towards the streets, signaling they might want to take the conversation down from the skies.
Tails nodded before mentioning Hiro and Baymax to follow him to where Sonic and Knuckles were waiting. Hiro called for the rest of his group to meet him in the same place once Baymax and him landed. "The hedgehog and his friends are here and they want to talk." He added.
Sonic crossed his hands and giggled. "That's how we are known to you now?" He asked.
"Well, you seriously left a bad impression on Go-Go…" Hiro said with a small chuckle. "She kept bugging me to find a way to upgrade her suit so that she could match your speed." He told the three humanoid animals.
Sonic giggled at that statement. "Some people tend to hate me at first; but they seem to warm up to me later on." The hedgehog stated before facing Knuckles. "Right, Knuckles?"
"Eventually…" Knuckles replied with an eye roll as Hiro and Tails laughed at his reaction.
A second later Go-Go came into the scene, leaving marks on the road as she made a hard turn in order to stop. Her gaze went straight in the hedgehog's direction. "We meet again." She said while popping the gum she was chewing and with a small smirk, like she had some kind of an advantage over him.
"Looks like…" Sonic replied.
"It has no relation to the fact that we now have two of these emeralds, right?" Go-Go asked as she showed Sonic and the gang the green emerald.
"You've found another one?" Tails asked and the two humans nodded at the question.
"Sweet, we found another one too!" Sonic said excited as Knuckles showed them their two emeralds, the dark blue and yellow ones. Go-Go's face went from happy to annoyed in less than a second. This hedgehog was always beating her to it.
Shortly after that, the rest of Big Hero 6 showed up and Sonic brought the idea of teaming up to them.
"There are seven Chaos Emeralds. My friends and I have two, and you guys have two as well. Eggman, for all we know, has only one." He told them the statistics. "If we join forces we won't only have way more emeralds than him, but we could cover more ground and find the rest of the emeralds faster and before he does. You said you are the defenders of the city, well getting these emeralds as far away from Eggman will help the city and its citizens a lot." Sonic summed up.
"We are about to have our first Super-Hero team up!" Fred yelled in excitement at the turn of events.
"It can only help us in the greater scheme of things." Wasabi added, voicing his support of the idea.
"Hiro…" Honey told the young teen. "You are the leader; the decision is up to you."
Hiro looked at his teammates, all of them ready to hear what he had to say. "I ran some checking on that emerald you let us keep the other day. It does contain a lot of power like you said it does. I tried using it in order to power my computers up, and it caused an electricity overload within a second." He told Sonic and his friends. "If we want to take this Eggman down, than what better way than to have the help of those who fought him before and know these emerald things?"
Knuckles smiled with pride at the praise he seemed to get, even though Hiro never mentioned him specifically. "No better way."
Sonic smiled to himself at the agreement of Big Hero 6 to the offer. "Well, first order of business…" He said before turning to Go-Go, who seemed to be the most sceptic regarding the new team up. "I think Tails could help you reach the same speed as me."
Two team ups in one chapter!
I never had any intention to include Yama in this story. But as I thought about it more and more, my idea seemed more possible if Eggman had another guy to help him out. Callaghan wasn't an option because what reason would he have to go after Hiro? The guy saved his daugther after all. I then heard that Yama was the main villian in a "Big Hero 6" 3DS game(Battle at Bay?) and even though I never played it, I assume it ends with him going to jail, so let's set it after that. Yama will be like a side villian while Eggman will continue to be the main mastermind.
