It's time for another battle to take place! So why delay the inevitable? Hope you will enjoy it!
Classes in the San-Fransokyo's institute of science usually went by quickly for Hiro, seeing how he mostly knew everything the professors were talking about. But right now, with an apparent villain on the loose, two more powerful emeralds to find, which may or may not be in the villian's hands, and overall tons of other stuff that occupied his brain; time just wasn't moving for the young teen.
After what seemed like an eternity of hearing the professors talk on and on, classes were finally over for the day and Hiro met up with his team mates for lunch break before students were allowed to work on their projects in the school labs.
"Have you heard anything from Sonic and the gang?" Go-Go asked Hiro, to which he shook his head in response. Before leaving for the institute that morning, Tails gave Hiro a square shaped yellow communicator called "The Miles Electric", so that they could be in contact if they found any of the remaining emeralds while the Big Hero 6 team was attending their classes.
But turns out the searches were, as of that moment, fruitless.
"I haven't heard from them during class. I guess there is nothing to report." Hiro answered after checking the yellow communicator for messages and while he also streched his muscles after the long hours of sitting in class. "Hey, we are all at pretty advance stages of our projects. Do you want to skip the lab part and go help them look for those emeralds now?" He suggested to his team.
As they were considering the option their young leader has brought up, a loud and massive sound was heard outside of the school building. Needless to say, everyone's attention was brought to the outside of the college, including the Super-Heroes'.
The campus grounds were surrounded by all kinds of robots. The team has recognized some of them as Eggman's Badniks, but some of them seemed new. "Eggman is attacking the institute!" Fred shouted as he noticed the robots landing from the sky and attacking the students and professors who attempted to run for their lives.
"What do we do, Hiro?" Honey asked, even though she felt like she knew the answer.
"What we always do." He replied before he headed inside the school building, rushing towards his lab. "You suit up and start taking down those robots." Hiro ordered as his friends were running alongside him. "Baymax and I will catch up in a bit." He added before each of them split up in different directions.
Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were looking at Tails's Miles Electric as they were looking for the final two Chaos Emeralds. Before leaving for the search, Tails updated his multi-used device with the abillity to detact Chaos Emerald energy, instead of taking one of the emeralds they had with them and risk losing it. The five emeralds they did have were hidden in Hiro's garage. "It's wired. I'm pretty sure we looked in the entire city, but there is no sign of the remaining emeralds." Tails said as his device gave him no clear answer.
"Do you think Eggman has them?" Knuckles asked.
"It's a possibility…" Sonic shrugged. "It's a pretty logical option, actually. I mean, how did he find Big Hero 6 that same night we got here?"
"But where can he be?" Knuckles asked while slamming his fist against his palm, frustrated they have no leads to where their enemy is, or where the other Chaos Emeralds are.
Just then, the sight of robots dropping from the sky caught their attention and directed it towards the institute. Sonic's smirk grew as he watched the un-ordinary event. "Looks like we got our answer. Come on, guys!" He said before jumping off the roof of the building they were standing on and started heading in the direction of the robots, Tails and Knuckles following his steps.
Everyone was running around in panic as robots were dropping from the sky and attacking them, something that was uncommon in this city. It's not that robots were uncommon in San-Fransokyo, it was the fact that these robots seemed to have no master; and even if they did have one, he seemed to want to rid of everyone there for whatever reason. Robots weren't known for attacking humans, only other robots in events like Bot-Fighting.
Out of the huge amount of robots, two purple ones with cannons for arms seemed to target two students, boy and a girl, who were cornered against a wall. The couple was scared brcause of the sight of the robots wanting to kill them. But before anything else could have happened, a yellow disc came in and went straight through the robots, causing them to short circuit and fall to the ground.
The two students were shocked and relived at what just happened. When the disc flew back the way it came; they saw Go-Go grabbing it as soon as it reached her. "Get out of here! We'll take care of this!" She told them and they nodded at her before running away.
Honey had a ball of chemicals ready in her hand as she walked out of the building, ready to fend off any robot that came in to hurt her, or anyone else in the domain. When a group of Egg-Pawns surrounded her, she knew it was time to send them to the junk yard. Honey threw the prepared ball at one of the robots, trapping it in frozen chemicals before making two more balls and throwing them at a few of the other robots surrounding her and freezing them as well.
When one of the robots shot a missile at her, Honey quickly made another ball and threw it at the shot, causing it to explode before reaching her and thus damaging the robot, as it was in the explosion radius. Just then, Wasabi came in with his laser blades, and sliced the robots Honey froze, before he quickly charged at a few similar robots that have just landed, and sliced through them with various tricks and moves.
Fred leaped into the sky while spinning a board in his hand, using it in order to cut through some of the red, eagle like, flying robots which attacked from the air. He waved his board at them, thus breaking them into pieces before landing back on the ground. Fred then ran to position himself under a group of more incoming robots and then jumped into the air, this time using his fire breath in order to burn down the robots that were threatening to attack.
As the four teammates re-grouped after stopping the incoming robots, they noticed their job was far from over as more were arriving. "Did we get everyone out of here?" Honey asked while cocking up another ball in her purse.
"I made sure of that." Go-Go answered as she held on to her disc and got into a fighting stance along with the rest of the team.
"Wait a minute, where's Hiro?" Wasabi asked as he realized they were missing the leader of the team.
"Hey, guys!" Hiro's voice suddenly entered the group's ears as he came in flying on Baymax's back. Hiro saw the group of robots heading towards his friends before he called out "Leave these to us." With that the robot in armor blasted away in the direction of the ground. "Okay, Buddy. Are you ready?"
"Disassembling the robots will improve the citizens of San-Fransokyo's emotional status." Baymax answered.
"It sure will. So let's do this!" Hiro called before launching a group of micro-bots out of his arm to wrap up the incoming robots in them. Once he grabbed them all, Hiro threw the robots into the air where they were greeted by Baymax's punches, kicks and various other martial arts moves.
Once the area seemed to be clear of robots, Baymax landed near the rest of the team and Hiro came down from his back. "Are you guys okay?" He asked.
"These robots were no match for us!" Fred claimed with pride.
The happiness, however, was short lived as Baymax noticed another wave of robots, led by what appeared to be Eggman's Egg-Mobile, approaching. "Up there. More robots are coming." He said while pointing in the direction of the transport.
As the flying vehicle got closer, the team noticed that it wasn't Eggman piloting it, but one of their past enemies, Yama.
"It's been a while, Big "Zero" 6!" He said before letting out an evil laugh as another group of robots landed in the area. These ones were familiar to the young leader.
"An army of Little Yamas…" Hiro pounded, remembering his and Yama's first meeting at a bot fight. Hiro won, and Yama hated him ever since then. "All this time in jail and THIS is the best revenge plan you can come up with?" He taunted, earning laughter from the rest of his team.
Yama growled, but quickly relaxed when he remembered the plan he was a part of. "Be brave as much as you would like to, but do you really think you can take down all of my robots?" He asked.
Before anyone from the Big Hero 6 team could have answered the question, a blue blur showed up at the scene and took down the first row of Yama's robots. After the explosion, the blur revealed itself to be Sonic.
"So, I guess you are this Sonic…" Yama said as he saw the blue hedgehog dusting himself from his entrance, dissapointed when he realized Eggman's warnings about Sonic proved to be true.
Sonic turned to face the man in the Egg-Mobile as a smirk appeared on his face. "Did Eggman mention me already? Oh man, I must have left quite the impression on him." He said while stretching his legs. "And who are you supposed to be, his distant cousin with no mustache?"
Just as Yama was about to react, he felt a foot being smacked against his head and the Egg-Mobile starting to shake. These were the results of Knuckles kicking Yama at the back of his head and Tails using his tails to startle the flying transport.
As Tails and Knuckles regrouped with Sonic and Big Hero 6, Fred was the one to comment. "That was such an awesome entrance! We should make more of these!"
"You'll have plenty of time, Fred…" Hiro said as he climbed on Baymax's back and everyone got into fighting stances.
"Once those robots are at the junk yard." Sonic completed before the battle continued…
It's time, Ladies and Gentlemen. I'm starting with those cliffhangers that I love using, yet hate when other people use them.
So this was the Yama and his robots fight part 1. Part 2 will be tomorrow's chapter and it's not slowing down from there. Take that as you will...
