Hi everyone,

I'm sorry this chapter was so late. I had to read through past chapters and make sure that the future plot made sense along with the fact that my semester is ending and the workload that comes with it. Just a warning for you, I will be veering off from the Shingeki no Kyojin plot. Some of the things will be taken from the newer chapters of the manga while others I have completely made up to fulfill my own speculations and extend the plot. Thanks for the reviews, follows and favorites! This chapter is back to Naruto's POV.

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or Shingeki no Kyojin.

How do I even begin? What exactly did I see back then? "I'm not really sure why I started to use my other source of power to be honest. I couldn't seem to stop it either. I do know that I uh, saw some stuff while I was being influenced."

"Would you care to elaborate?" Asked Levi impatiently.

"It was kind of a blur, but I remembered seeing something about this world, maybe memories from the… past," I finished lamely. I didn't really know how to explain it. I didn't really get a good look at what had happened.

"That was informational," responded Levi sarcastically. "Do you have anything to add?" He asked turning his head to look at Eren with a raised eyebrow. Eren looked down at his entangled fingers before answering.

"It's like what Naruto said. Instead of memories about here though, I had memories about him. They just came in a flood and I couldn't make out anything really specific."

"You mean you had memories of… each other? Wait a moment. Naruto, did you say this world? It sounds as though you don't come from here," questioned Armin.

"Oh umm, well," I stammered. I realized too late that I had made a mistake.

"Of course he's not from this world. Do you think someone with that kind of power exists here?" Sasha answered.

"It would make sense. I can't see people like you staying hidden for very long," replied Hanji with a thoughtful nod.

Everyone turned to look at me in confirmation. I slumped my shoulders in defeat. "I'm not really sure where I belong. I know I'm from a village called Konohagakure but I don't really know where it is. The only information I have of my past comes from my memories and even those are random."

"You mean you can't remember anything?" Asked Krista with concern in her tone.

I suppose there really wasn't a better time to tell the whole truth so I dug my grave and went with it. "Yeah. I woke up in the forest alone. I don't know how I got there. After a week alone the Scouting Legion found me and you know the rest from there."

Everyone wore thoughtful expressions at the newly exposed information. This story probably made more sense then what I had told them before. I could almost see the pieces click in their heads.

"Why are you here then?" Inquired Gunther.

"I'm still trying to figure that out." I excluded information about the organization and the fact that they had brought me here. There were some things they didn't need to know. I was surprised that they were taking the information in stride though. I suppose the fact that they have giant human killing machines though probably elevated the amount of things they were willing to believe.

"That's enough questions. It seems like we still have things that need to be sorted out," commanded the Corporal. He rubbed his forehead in irritation. "Everyone needs to sleep. You'll be serving your punishment tomorrow." After he was finished he removed himself from the wall he had been leaning on and turned to leave the room. The rest of us got up from our chairs and went to sort out where we would be sleeping that night.

I was assigned my own room while most of the others were put into pairs. Armin and Eren bid me a goodnight before they went to the room next door to my own. To my surprise I found a bed with fresh linins waiting for me. I took off my boots, placed my journal on the desk in the room and laid down, pulling the covers under my arm as I gazed out the window.

I still didn't know what to make of what had happened earlier that afternoon. There seemed to be no logical reason as to why Eren and I would share this strange connection. I felt in my pockets for one of the tags Katsumi had given me. Pulling it out, I examined it for anything familiar, anything that would spark a memory. Nothing came to mind before I placed it back in my pocket in frustration. I rolled over on my side and fell asleep.

(Dream)

The man had his back turned to me though I could see that he had long brown hair. He was dressed in a lab coat and polished leather shoes. He seemed to be looking at something very intently. I looked around the room to see something like a laboratory, with pristine counters and strange looking instruments. A women, also dressed in a white coat, entered the room and said something I couldn't understand. The man nodded and left with her. I followed behind them.

They went to a larger room with a titan chained to a wall in it. The titan seemed more intelligent than the ones I had encountered in the forest. He, or at least I assumed it was a he, watched the researchers with an interested expression, occasionally nodding or shaking its head when questions were asked of it. The researcher I had followed observed the titan, occasionally writing down notes in a journal.

One of the researchers approached the titan with a piece of paper, proffering it to the monster. The monster looked at it and extended an arm to reach for it. Everyone in the room stopped to view what was occurring. Most were shaking each other's hand in victory. The titan's hand momentarily hovered over the hand of the assistant until extended further to pick her up. The assistant calmly ordered the titan to put her down but it wasn't listening. Gleaming teeth could be seen as it extended its mouth and swallowed the researcher whole.

The remaining researchers screamed. There was chaos after as the titan's pupils dilated and he broke free of his chains, grabbing the personal one at a time, mutilating those who resisted. The researchers ran. A few brave souls, armed with weapons, approached the beast, trying to get a clear aim at the back of his neck. Five were killed before the titan was finally subdued, a chunk of flesh missing from the back of its neck.

The man who I had followed into the room approached the downed monster. He stopped before it as the flesh began to disintegrate. He shook his head and jotted something into his journal. He turned towards the remaining researchers. Many were curled in on themselves, sprouting nonsensical things as they processed what had happened to their colleagues. He opened his mouth to speak. "We have failed here but in other ways we have succeeded. Those who have perished here shall be remembered as heroes who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of humanity. We need to keep going. We have come so far already and the end is near. Now we need to make some alterations before we continue with the next subject."

Many had stopped and listened to him. They escorted the remainder of their stunned coworkers out of the room. A group of men walked in to clean up the mess. The man I had followed walked out of the room.

"Doctor Jeager you can't do that!" yelled a women as she followed the man from before down a narrow hallway. He had a torch in one hand as he approached a door. He opened it and allowed the women to enter before hi, following after her. The room was filled with test tubes and boiling chemical compositions. Counters lined the room, which was lit by flickering candlelight.

"You know as well as I do that I may be the only one who can. Besides I have a back-up plan if this doesn't work."

The women gasped as he took a syringe out of a drawer. He moved further into the room to get a bottle from one of the counters. He punctured the syringe through the top, siphoning the serum up the needle. He roughly tied a cord around one arm after rolling up his sleeve. He looked up at the women with a soft expression. "Carla you should go now. You know as well as I do that I may be humanities last hope. Besides you should worry more about the little one."

Carla's eyes widened as she moved a hand to her slightly swollen abdomen. Her eyes turned stormy as she looked back at the man. "But Grisha…" The man shook his head. She gulped nervously before clenching her fists. "This baby is yours too. Promise me you'll be fine."

"You know I can't make that promise. I'll try though, I promise you that." The women nodded at the response and removed herself from the room, hurriedly walking out of sight.

The man watched her leave before he returned his attention to his task at hand. He braced himself as he injected the syringe deep into a vein. He screamed as light filled the room.

(End Dream)

I woke with a start as the sound of screaming slowing disappeared from my ears. I digested what I had just seen before making my way to the desk. I lit a small candle before turning to a fresh page of the journal Katsumi had given me. I gathered up a quill and dipped it in a pot of ink before inscribing what I had seen on paper.

I knew it wasn't just another dream, it was far too detailed to be. It was similar to the quality of my past memories. The name Jeager struck a chord with me. Could they be related to Eren somehow? If so, why would I have memories of his relatives? I shook my head in annoyance. This world made no sense. There were too many loose ends. It seemed like I should be connecting them somehow but several pieces were still missing.

I looked over the entry again until I was sure that the information was correct. This was one thing I definitely didn't want to forget. I was grudgingly thankful to the organization for at least this much. They provided me with something so that I could keep track of my time here, something I wouldn't have thought of doing on my own.

Looking out the window I could see a pale pink on the horizon. The sun would soon be here. I eyed my ruffled sheets longingly before I went to make the bed. I'm pretty sure I would have never made my bed back where I'd come from but knowing that Levi would probably be up to check on the condition of the room I made sure the it was spotless before I left.

I quietly snuck down the hall until I found the main door. I walked out of the house, surprised to find another person up at this hour. Turning her head I found hazel eyes glancing up at me before a small smile formed itself on her lips. Petra patted the ground next to her as she moved over to make room. I watched the horizon, enjoying the chance to see the sun rise.

It was little things like this that made this place bearable. The chaos of my time here didn't exactly allow me to take the time to appreciate the raw beauty of this world. The growing source of light extended its rays to the world, causing orange to join the pink color of the sky. "It's so beautiful," whispered Petra, providing a little distraction to the serenity of the dawn.

Not knowing what response would be appropriate I responded with a slightly moronic "Yeah." She turned to look at me with a smile before turning her eyes towards the skyline once more. After a couple more moments she got up and brushed off her pants. She opened the door and gestured for me to follow.

I followed her into the kitchen where she started a fire. She placed a pot of water over the flame, causing it to boil. "Could you grab me some tea leaves and set the table?" She asked pointing to the cabinets.

I opened to doors to search for the required items. I took out several cups, plates and assorted silverware and placed them on the tables in the dining room. The lush carpet under the tables muffled my footsteps as I set each place. A glorious scent wafted through the house as Petra worked her magic in the kitchen. Doors could be heard opening throughout the house as the members woke. I went back into the kitchen to help Petra finish and bring the food out.

The younger members rubbed sleep out of their eyes and soothed down ruffled hair. Levi's squad were discussing the plans for the day as I took my seat near Eren, Armin and Mikasa. The food was passed around and soon the sounds of eating could be heard throughout the house. I took a sip of the strange tea before eating a spoonful of the porridge Petra had prepared for us. It was seasoned with strange spices that caused my taste buds to explode. I noticed that everyone else seemed to be enjoying the meal as well.

As we ate I remembered my dream, curiosity getting the best of me as I opened my mouth to address Eren. "Say Eren, do you know anyone by the name of Grisha or Carla."

Eren dropped his spoon in surprise. Mikasa and Armin also widened their eyes at the name, recognition crossing their expressions. "Yeah, why do you ask?" He asked hesitantly. By now everyone had stopped eating to eavesdrop in on the conversation.

"I had a dream and their names were mentioned." I responded. "It seemed like one of the memories that I've had before." I shortly described the dream while the others listened.

"Grisha and Carla are my parents," Eren stated after I was finished.

"Really? Do you think I could talk to them?"

An awkward silence filled the house before Mikasa spoke up. "You can't, Eren's mom is dead and his father disappeared."

"Oh." I didn't know how to respond to that. I couldn't really remember my own parents after all. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine, it's in the past," replied Eren. He looked slightly dejected, stirring around his food with his spoon.

"Alright, listen up brats," started Levi as he addressed the younger members of the squad, dismissing the silence of the room. "Today you'll be cleaning this house from top to bottom. We'll be staying here for a couple of weeks and I don't want to live in a shit hole. You'll be cleaning to my standards," he finished with a gleam in his eyes.

Everyone grumbled as they got up. Each of us were assigned a room along with a broom and various other cleaning supplies. As I worked I couldn't help but think over what I had seen in my memory. I knew I still needed more information to fill in the gaps and that could only come with time. I would just have to wait patiently. It was really a shame patience wasn't one of my strong points.

(End)

I hope you enjoyed the newest addition. As you can see I have added new elements that were never mentioned in the manga. I promise that it will all come together in the end though! I should have the next chapter posted by Sunday so stay tuned!
