[A/N] Sorry that this took so long and that it's shorter than usual, but I need to update so here we are!

The month went by quickly. Blaine still hadn't kissed Kurt - he hadn't found the perfect moment yet - but the month was coming to a close and soon, he and Kurt would decide if they wanted to carry on being together. They had had as many dates as they could cram into their week, which wasn't many with Blaine's busy schedule, but Blaine had managed to fit in at least one a week. Cooper and Lara had used to opportunity to bond with their niece by babysitting her or taking her out whenever Blaine had a date.

Kurt and Blaine got to know each other a lot better too. Blaine learnt that Kurt's colour was red, simply because it was so passionate and fiery, and that he liked romantic films but he avoided watching them with people because they sometimes made him cry and that he adored musicals and he dreamt of seeing Wicked on Broadway. He found out that Kurt had wanted to go to New York when he left school, but his dad had gotten sick so he stayed to be close to him and had gone to a university in Columbus to study fashion instead. He discovered Kurt didn't like thunder storms and when they occurred he would put his music on really loud and hide under his duvet. Every little thing that Blaine found out about Kurt just made him more perfect, made him more human.

On Valentine's Day, just 4 days before they were going to decide whether or not to continue dating, Kurt planned a big romantic date for Blaine. He took him to see a movie and then after they went to dinner in a fancy French restaurant with prices that made Blaine's eyes widen, but Kurt insisted that he was paying and that he could afford it.

"How's the planning for the wedding going?" Kurt asked as they dug into their main courses.

"Great, as far as I know. Everyone's really excited. Harmony has been wanting to wear her dress everywhere she goes. She's told all of her friends at school about Uncle Coop's wedding and how she get's to throw flowers," Blaine told him with a chuckle.

"That's so sweet," Kurt sighed with a smile.

"I know we haven't agreed anything yet, but I wondered if you wanted to go with me. To the wedding that is. I just... I know we have decisions to make in a few days and I'm not sure how you feel, but I really like you and I really want this to work out and in my mind, it's going to," Blaine explained.

"Well, it looks like I'm going to have to find a suit," Kurt answered with a smirk, as he reached out and gave Blaine's hand a reassuring squeeze.

Soon it was Monday and Blaine was eagerly awaiting the end of the day. He'd gotten Cooper to pick Harmony up from school so that he and Kurt could talk privately at home. He'd been watching the clock since 2 PM and the past two hours had gone extremely slow, but soon it was 4 and Kurt was strolling through the door, looking like the perfect angel he was.

"The usual?" Blaine asked when Kurt reached the counter.

"Please," Kurt replied with a smile. Blaine eagerly got his coffee prepared as usual, before hanging up his apron and going into the back to ask Mel if she could take over. She agreed, sending a wink in his direction and demanding her tell her all of the details later.

Blaine went back out to the coffee shop and found him sat where he always was, gazing out the window as he sipped his coffee. "You ready to go?" Blaine asked.

Kurt turned his head and looked up at Blaine, a smile on his face. "Of course."

The trip back to Blaine was filled with chatter about their days; Blaine's awkward customer who had insisted she have an exact amount of milk in her tea and Kurt spilling sequins over his desk and finding them in every piece of paper since.

When they got to Blaine's, they got comfy with a drink and sat beside each other on the sofa. Kurt took Blaine's hand and toyed with his fingers for a few moments. "So, ready to talk about this?" he asked.

"I'm more than ready," Blaine assured him.

"Do you want me to start, or do you want to?"

"You can," Blaine said.

"Okay, well, I really like you, a hell of a lot and I've enjoyed spending time with you and going on dates with you and I want us to continue dating. I want to be with you. I want to spend time with you and Harmony and meet your brother. I want it all with you. And I really hope you feel the same way," Kurt explained.

And Blaine knew it. As he watched Kurt speak, the twinkle in his eye, the way Kurt would squeeze his hand every so often. It was the moment. And so Blaine leaned in close to Kurt and connected their lips for the first time.

It was a timid kiss; there was no gripping each other close and deep breaths and pushing for more. Just the shy movement of lips sliding together, but it was perfect. Kurt consumed his senses. The taste of coffee was still on his lips, the strong scent of Kurt's cologne made him breath in and savour the moment.

After a few moments, their lips separated and Blaine looked at Kurt timidly. Kurt was smiling and he reached up to stroke the side of Blaine's face.

"I hope that means you feel the same way," he whispered.

Blaine couldn't help the chuckle that escaped his lips. "Yes it does. And I want to be with you too. I want to be your boyfriend and I want you to be mine."

"Then it's settled," Kurt said. "Boyfriends."

Kurt leaned back in for a second, shorter kiss which Blaine returned. "That was my first kiss," Blaine admitted. "That counted at least. My first kiss with a guy."

"Then I hope it was good enough," Kurt said.

"It was perfect," Blaine assured him. "You're perfect."

"I'm nowhere near perfect, Blaine," Kurt insisted.

"You are. For me at least," Blaine replied. He paused in thought, before continuing. "Hey, Kurt, would you like to hang out this weekend? I, erm, Harmony and I were going to the zoo and I thought you might like to come. We could all spend some time together. If you'd like that is."

"I would love that," Kurt assured him, and with that, he brought their lips together once more for that night.

"Someone looks happy," Cooper greeted as Blaine walked into the living room at his parents house. "Lara and Harmony are in the bathroom giving each other make overs, so you can come sit with me and tell me all about it."

Blaine grinned as he took a seat on the couch next to his brother. "So, Kurt and I talked."

"By that grin, I think you did more than just talk," Cooper chuckled. Blaine's cheeks darkened and Cooper's laughs just grew louder. "Oh my God, did you bang him?"

"Cooper!" Blaine scolded. "No I did not. We talked and agreed that we both really liked each other and we wanted to continue dating." Blaine took a deep breath before continuing. "I kissed him."

"Really? Was it good? Did you use tongue?" Cooper questioned.

"Coop!" Blaine growled. "It was amazing and no we did not, we've only just got together and I don't want to rush things."

"I guess you have all the time in the world to get your tongue in his mouth now," Cooper laughed. Blaine just sighed, but he couldn't help but smile at his brother's enthusiasm. "So when are you two hanging out?"

"I've invited him to come to the zoo with me and Harms on Saturday," Blaine informed him.

"That sounds good. Harmony is going to adore him," Cooper insisted.

"I sure do hope so," Blaine chuckled. As he finished his sentence, Harmony herself came running into the room and pounced on top of Blaine.

"Daddy!" she squealed. "You're back. Where have you been?"

"I was with Kurt, princess. Did you have a good time with Uncle Coop and Aunt Lara?"

"Yeah, Aunt Lara gave me a make over, but she said I'd have to take all the makeup off before I went home," Harmony told him.

"That's good. I don't fancy scrubbing muck off your face," Blaine chuckled. "Ready to go home?" Harmony nodded eagerly and ran to get her things.

In the car on the way home, Blaine decided to bring up the weekend to Harmony.

"Hey, Harms?" he called.

"Yeah?" Harmony replied.

"You know Kurt?"

"Of course I do, daddy," she giggled.

"Well, he's going to come with us to the zoo on Saturday. If that's okay with you, princess," Blaine said.

"He is? For real?" Harmony questioned.

"Yeah, for real," Blaine grinned.

"That's so cool, we're going to have so much fun. But you have to help me pick something out to wear that will impress Kurt because he makes pretty dresses all of the time and I can't show up in a non pretty dress," she babble.

"Of course I will, princess," Blaine said. He couldn't help but smile at his daughter's enthusiasm. The only worry he had was how he was going to tell her that he and Kurt were dating.
