Chapter 2

Belikov. I repeated. I recognise that name from somewhere in my human form but where. Belikov, Belikov…god it's hard to remember things from when I was a human. Belikov. Beli- got it my P.E teacher in school. Why couldn't I sense that he was part of the pack? Oh well. Do I still have to call you Belikov outside of school? I couldn't help asking. He told me you call me Dimitri outside of school but you can't call me Dimitri in school. Ha does he really that I'm going to call him Belikov in school. Come on we need to get to the pack if you want to see your parents. And off we walked

Rose is that you honey you phased this time oh my baby girl I've missed you so badly. I felt so happy as my mother ran up to me at full speed. She took me to the rest of the pack and it surprised me that Lissa, Andre and their parents were there. I was actually hurt, she knew that I was in this pack and didn't think to tell me. Lissa you're in my pack and you didn't think to tell me that you were a wolf. So much for telling me everything. I mean seriously you must understand that me keeping that secret meant that I couldn't tell you. You knew that this is my first phase but I bet this isn't your first. You know what don't talk to me. After I had my rant mum took me to Dimitri's family. Sonya, Karolina and Viktoria are his sisters and have all phased permanently so has their grandmother Yeva. His mother is left looking after his niece and nephew. They asked me if I could help them and so I said yes. Zoya Dimitris niece was so cute and I couldn't go anywhere without her there and it was only for a couple of hours. My father made me feel really bad because he kept on telling me that he was disappointed in me because I let Mason join the army. So I ended up leaving too early for my liking but on well.

I couldn't get Lissa out of my head I mean I know mow that she has phased a couple of times because of the sleepover thing. Why am I so stupid? I could've put two and two together and worked it out. Now I've fucked up our friendship and probably won't be able to fix it knowing Lissa. I was too in the zone and shocked but she can't say that she didn't know I was in the pack because mum and dad are the leaders.

Once I had phased back I went home. When I found my keys after about five minutes I went in and was greeted by my golden retriever Leo. He was jumping up and down like crazy so I closed the door and I dropped to my knees to stroke him. "Hello to you too boy had a good evening?" "Woof" I laughed. "C'mon lets go to bed" and that we did.

The next morning I was woken up by my alarm ridiculously early but I didn't want to go to school so I slept some more until I was woken up again to my doorbell ringing. I groaned, got up and stretched with Leo right by my feet. When I opened the door I was surprised to see that Lissa was there with a big box of things. "Hey rose can I come in please?" I nodded and held the door open for her. "Thanks." She said, she walked in and put the box down. She surprised me by hugging me tightly and apologising. "I'm so so sorry rose. I didn't think please forgive me I don't want us to be distant anymore and mum and dad want to phase permanently. And I need you and I brought this box of things like pictures from our childhood before we became distant." I hadn't got a word in since she walked into my house. "Lissa I'm sorry too I've been a really bad friend to you these past months and…" I was interrupted by the doorbell ringing again. Ugh. I opened the door to see Dimitri and zoya. "Hi sir what are you doing on my doorstep with a beautiful princess." Dimitri just sighed.
"Zoya won't go to school if you don't either come with or take her. I blame my mamma for telling her that you'll see her everyday so can you come with?" Lissa came up behind me.
"Hi Zoya how are you" zoya is a shy girl and she buried her face in Dimitri's neck. "Rose go and get dressed as quickly as possible." She told me so I did.

When we were walking to her school (Dimitri had left us three alone to go to work) she wanted me to pick her up. I did as she asked. I wish I hadn't. We had to walk past our school to get to her school and Jesse Zeklos saw us. "Rose is that my daughter, it is isn't it. How dare you keep my daughter a secret from me?" seriously he still believes that dare I had when was fourteen. Hahahaha. He is such an idiot. When I got to the school Zoya was asleep so I called Dimitri. "Hello?"
"Hey Dimitri it's rose Zoya fell asleep in my arms should I wake her up or should I take her home?"
"There is no one to look after her at home"
"I'll take the day off if you can go and talk to the attendance officer and tell her that I really don't feel well and that I'm not going to be in."
"Fine. But call me anytime you need to okay?"
"Fine. Bye thanks."
"Bye." And he hung up.

I got a call from Lissa telling me that everyone at school is calling me a slut and saying that I have a child. When will these people grow up? Their lives are all about gossip and lies if only one person told the truth I would feel better but no al you have to do is lie, lie, lie ugh. I swear people are literally going to have broken noses tomorrow at school if they're not careful.

But seriously is Jesse that stupid that he thought I had a six year old daughter at the age of seventeen. You do the maths, that doesn't work. Also wouldn't he remember if I was pregnant because I would have to go through the pregnancy at school? Some people are so stupid. My thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing. "Hello?"
"ahh. Hello is this Miss Rosemarie Hathaway sister to Mason Hathaway?"
"Yes"
"I'm afraid that your brother is seriously injured and in hospital"
