CC: Well it's been a while since I posted anything new. I did rewrite the first chapter; it has the same contents, just written in paragraph form. To those who have faved and reviewed this story so far: sorry for the long wait!
Notes:
- Several of these characters are my OCs if they aren't Yu-Gi-Oh! Original characters they are my own characters added to the story.
Despite not being thrilled about it, everyone managed to arrive at school on time because Ryou wouldn't shut up about it. They all filed into their classroom as Eri Sensei was beginning to address her students, "Good morning class, today we are going to be throwing the books out the window." She gave the students a kind smile, but as she paused Bakura rose from his seat. She gave him a curious look and watched at the white-haired male walked to the window and literally threw one of the books that had been on his desk out of the window.
A few students laughed and Seito responded with, "Alrighty then," with an expression that read 'what a crazy person'.
Eri Sensei was quick to get the students attention back after the giggles died down, "Okay, well, today we are not actually throwing books out of the window, but we are going to have a fun day! Now if you look at the board there is a list of games that we can play." The teacher said moving to point at each game as she read them out loud, "Murderer, Truth or Dare, 7-up, Cranium, or Pictionary. I want everyone to write down three of their top favorite on a piece of paper and then put them into this bucket." She held up a blue and yellow beach bucket to show the class where they would be putting their votes.
The class was quick to write down their votes and a little buzz went around the classroom as pencils scratched against paper. Eri Sensei walked around the room and collected up all the votes and returned to her desk to tally up all of the votes. As she did that the students began to talk amongst themselves.
"Bakura what games did you vote for?" Malik asked while drumming his fingers on the desk.
"Murderer, Pictionary, and 7-up," he nearly snapped at the blonde.
"I voted for the same ones," Seito spoke up, her tone a little lazy. She was glad that they didn't have to do too much work today, but some of these games were lame.
Malik nodded to indicate that he also voted for those ones before Seito began speaking again, "Most of them are pretty easy for Bakura, Marik, and me since we can pry into peoples minds." A little wicked smirked formed on her features, clearly enjoying the fact that she could use her powers to win the little game.
"Uhm, yeah, I guess," Malik said, casting a glance at his Yami who just stared back at him.
"Marik-chan!" Seito exclaimed in a mocking tone, "What did you pick?!"
Marik stared at her for a few minutes before opening his mouth to respond, "Murderer."
The other's waited as though he would continue and when he didn't Seito decided to inquire further, "And what else?"
Though Marik continued staring at the other before he gruffly answered, "That is it."
The other's cast glances at each other before sitting back as the teacher seemed to want their attention back.
"The votes have been tallied and we will be playing 7-up!" Eri Sensei said with a smile. The game was quite simple. Seven people were chosen to be "it" and those people went to the front of the classroom. The rest of the class put their heads down on their desks and left their hands out, formed into a fist and with their thumbs sticking up in the air. The people who were "it" had to go around and push one persons thumb down then they would be tagged. Then the "it's" had to go back to the front, once everyone was done the ones who had been "tagged" had to guess who tagged them. It was a simple enough game for a class to play. Eri Sensei looked around the classroom trying to decide whom to call on first and once she had picked the people out she smiled and called out their names, "Seito, Malik, Tea, Bakura, Yami, Mitoko, and Miho! You guys are going to go first."
The seven people that were it shuffled to the front of the class and the rest of the class was instructed to put their heads down, thumbs up. The teacher gave a cursory glance at everyone and then nodded to the people who were it.
Seito wandered through the desks, glancing at different people until she got to Joey and she pushed his thumb went straight to Konoto and tagged him while Bakura chose to tag Tristan. Yami and Miho made it back to where Yugi and Ryou were sitting next to each other and tagged them respectively. Mitoko seemed to have some trouble deciding before sighing and wandering to one of her friends named Esho and tagging him. Six out of the seven people who had been chosen to be it were now standing at the front of the class while they waited on Tea who was taking forever. Seito gave an exasperated sigh and glared at the brunette wanting more than anything to yell at her for taking to long. Soon enough though, Tea settled on tagging Seto and she returned to the front.
A few people shot Tea glares as she returned, but soon the teacher was instructing everyone to look up and for the tagged people to try to guess. Without warning Joey blurted out, "Mitoko tagged me!" He sounded confident and was grinning from ear to ear.
Mitoko sweat-dropped a little and shook her head to indicate that it hadn't been her.
Konoto flashed her puppy dog eyes at Bakura and turned a light red color as she spoke next, "Bakura?"
The white haired Egyptian scoffed and stared at her. "Ra NO!" he snarled at her, receiving a warning look from the teacher who then nodded to Tristan who was waving his hand all over the place. "Duh…Malik!" he said before laughing like a fool.
"Aah, no," the blonde said with a shake of his head.
"YAMI!" Yugi exclaimed in a way to happy sounding voice.
"Yes!" Yami said in a tone that said he was proud of Yugi, but the other's weren't sure why.
Esho then guessed that Seito was the one who tagged her and the female burst into laughter, "Haha, yeah right!" She continued in her fit of giggles even as Ryou gave a little sigh and asked if Miho was the one that tagged him.
Miho nearly jumped into the air, "OH EM GEE! How did you know?!" She said batting her eyelashes at him and making a disturbing hero-worshiping face at him.
Seto was the last to guess and he didn't look too thrilled. "Hn, Tea," was all that he said without looking so much as happy about it.
"Oh, well yeah," Tea said, wondering what he was so grumpy about.
The its traded places with those that had guessed right and another round of the game started. It was fun for a while, but the longer the game went, the more bored the students got with it and eventually Bakura pushed Marik's hand too hard and the pair started to fight in the middle of the classroom. The pair screamed at each other and the class watched and kept their distance from the two Yami's. It took Seito jumping into the fray to separate the two and Eri Sensei told them if they didn't knock of their behavior they'd have a one-way ticket out of the class. They both made snide remarks, but shuffled back to their seats, huffing and glaring at each other.
"Now that that is over," Eri Sensei said with an irritated tone, "We are going to calmly watch a movie. I have chosen Finding Nemo." The teacher nodded at her students and pretty much everyone with the exception of Malik, Seito, Marik, and Bakura whooped excitedly for the movie. Everyone began shifting their desks to sit closer to each other for the movie as the teacher began preparing by turning on the TV and everything else.
The four who were not so excited remained in their seats in the back where they usually sat with their desks closer together. Soon enough Bakura had his head on the desk and he was snoring. Marik was digging some hieroglyphics into his desk with a knife he somehow snuck into the school. The rest of the class was fairly quiet as they watched the movie, but not everyone was settled with watching the movie.
Seito stopped watching eventually and started reading Marik's carvings, but also got bored with that and instead poked him causing him to make the same squeaking noise that he had the previous night, this time louder.
A chasing spree around the classroom began! Seito dodged out of the way of Marik's arms reach eventually stopping when Marik stopped next to Yugi. The boy looked innocently around before reaching out and poking Marik causing him to squeak again. The tall Egyptian spun around and growled at Yugi before squeaking again as Seito creeped up behind him and poked him again. Marik once again began chasing Seito around the classroom, much to the teacher's dismay and the class's enjoyment as they were all practically out of their seats laughing.
Eventually Malik noticed Eri Sensei's irritation so he grabbed the female as she was about to run by and pushed her back into her seat. Marik was fuming, but after getting a look from Malik and some of the others he sat next to Bakura who had a cruel amused smirk on his face.
It took some time for the class to settle down from their laughter and start paying attention to the movie again, luckily Eri Sensei had just learned to accept some of the more crazy students until they settled down so no one was in trouble. However, just as the class settled down the movie came to Seito's favorite part.
The female grinned evilly and glomped Malik before yelling, "I shall call him my squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my squishy!" Then without warning she jumped across Bakura and glomped onto Marik, "I shall call him squeaky and he shall be mine and he shall be my squeaky!" She looked quite pleased with herself while the rest of the classroom just stared at her. "SHUT UP!" she yelled at them fixing them with a 'I'm gonna kill you look' which made several of the students flinch.
"Seito, sit down," Malik snipped at her rolling his eyes as Marik sat there seething and Bakura was trying so hard not to laugh and set the other evil man off again. Though the blonde ancient started muttering in an ancient language, which got glares from Seito and Yami.
Yet again the class had to calm down after the outburst though just as the attention was going back to the movie, the class bell rang and everyone groaned. Students started shuffling their desks back before gathering their things to leave.
"School blows," Seito said, "I'm out, partay at my house after school since I know half of you losers won't skip." The female gave a short laugh and left the rest of the class, but was followed by Bakura, Marik, Malik, and a girl named Des, who was one of her few friends that were female.
The rest of the gang were a little relieved that the rest of their classes wouldn't be terrorized and went on with the rest of their boring day at school, though interested to see how the party later would go.
