Hello fanfiction readers! This chapter was written by me, this is one of the first times I've written fanficition so I would love to know what you think about it. Feel free to give me constructive criticism on whether or not you like the story and if you feel I should continue it or not. Anyways, here's the story.

It had been half a decade since Hanna had last seen Rosewood. Taking her first few steps out of her bright crimson convertible, memories of all Hanna had left behind five years ago began once again flowing through her brain. Hanna had never dreamed of living a life without her family, but at that time, she didn't have a choice. Hanna couldn't count how many times she thought about her boys and Caleb while she was away. Nevertheless, the determined blonde would stop at nothing to protect her family, even if that meant leaving them in complete agony as she did so. Hanna remembered everything that lead up to the moment she left. How could she forget?

A few weeks before the birth of her newborn daughter Hanna had began receiving threats including notes and texts from an anonymous person, threatening to harm her family if she didn't leave. Naturally the blonde believed the 'A' thing had started back again, and knowing how dangerous 'A' could be, Hanna wouldn't allow her family and husband to endure such torture. Since the young woman was believed to die while giving birth, she didn't think it would be of much importance to tell Caleb, especially since she felt he hated her during that time and if not Hanna knew he would go to great lengths to protect her and their family and Hanna didn't need nor want him to risk his life for such, especially since she assumed she'd be out of the picture by then, solving all problems destined to come.

The memory of her daughter's birth remained nebulous to her. Hanna remembered her water breaking at home and Caleb rushing her into the hospital as the pain she was feeling was at an all time high. She remembered saying her final goodbye to her boys as she and Caleb left them in the care of Aria and Ezra. They didn't want them to witness Hanna's supposed death. Hanna couldn't forget the last kiss she shared with Caleb before going into surgery, the way his lips were moist and needy against her soft ones as they shared a passionate goodbye. One they'd thought would be their last. It all got foggy once she was put under, unconscious as the doctors laid her body out on the operation table, dressed only in the gown the hospital had given her before starting her surgery. Due to Hanna's condition the doctor's allowed Caleb to sit in the Operating Theater where he could look down at the surgery behind the glass of room located high inside the Operating Room.

Before being sent into the Operating Theater Caleb was able to get to Doctor Nelson who was one of the people operating on Hanna. "Please," The tawny colored man begged. "Do whatever you need to save her." Caleb couldn't stop the tears that began to pour from his eyes. To which the doctor replied with,"We'll try our best." The doctor promised, including the other surgeons who were operating on the pregnant woman as well in his promise.

The room was blue as Caleb was lead inside by another doctor. He sat down with his hands intertwined with each other, his legs bouncing up and down uncontrollably as he watched and prayed that Hanna would be okay. Caleb could barely look as he watched his wife get cut open, the blood pouring out of her body. About thirty minutes into the surgery Hanna Junior was delivered and cleaned as Caleb was signaled to make his way into the Operation Room. Everything was going fine until the moment Caleb held his newborn daughter. At that moment Hanna's body began to jerk, shaking uncontrollably as the high pitched sound of a flat name came from the EGC monitor connected to Hanna. The had unconnected the Fetal Heart Monitor moments before taking the newest Rivers out of the formerly pregnant woman. The doctors were quick to rush a worried and concerned Caleb out of the Operating Room.

Hanna was hemorrhaging, fast. After transferring thirty units of blood,Hanna was finally stable enough to complete the operation, the shaking slowly coming to a halt but just as the Doctors thought she was secure enough to close her, Hanna began to massively bleed again. It took a total of five hundred and forty units of O negative and B negative to subdue Hanna and finally complete the surgery. The B negative was used to substitute for O negative when they ran out of that blood type, because of this they were worried it wouldn't take.

Hours later, Caleb was standing outside of the hospital nursery, intently watching his young one hiccup. Doctor Nelson was able to located him. Hanna was hooked up to a machine in her room, they had shot more anesthesia into her body during the surgery before the original anesthesia wore off. Walking up to Caleb, Doctor Nelson began to tell Caleb what was going on. "Your wife is stable, for now." The doctor emphasized 'for now'. "We've given her more anesthesia, during the surgery she needed over four hundred units of blood to keep her from dying, some which may not take because it was not her blood type. It's been a very long day for the three of you and it's going to be awhile before we know officially what's going on. I think a good night's sleep will be good for you. Come back tomorrow."

And now here we are, five years late and Hanna's standing on the streets of the town where everyone once thought she was dead, boy did she have some explaining to do. "Are we here?" A young voice spoke as the almost eight year old girl got out of the car and interlaced her hand with Hanna's. "Yeah, we are." Hanna replied as she lead herself and the child into the famous café The Brew. The curious child beginning to ask questions, "So,you grew up here?" The seven year old asked."Yep,born and raised-" Hanna's sentence was cut off as the person in front of interrupted their conversation.

It was a few weeks after Hanna Junior's fifth birthday and Caleb had returned back to his daily schedule, well, for him, it was more of a routine. He had to go off it for awhile to plan his daughter's birthday party and then have the actual birthday party. It's been two weeks since then and now everything was back to normal, or at least that's what he thought. Here he was, standing in line for coffee when he heard a familiar voice, a voice he no longer heard every day ever since his wife's alleged death. For a second he thought his mind was playing tricks on him, or that maybe he was dreaming. Turning around, Caleb never expected to see what he saw. He was baffled. Maybe he was going crazy.

"Hanna...?"
