Flora pov

I woke up to Klaus in my arms sleeping. I quietly got out of bed not trying to wake him up and took a quick shower. I went into girl's room to wake them.

"Good morning girls," I said.

"Morning Flo. How's Klaus?" Musa asked.

"Still sleeping. We're leaving when he wakes up."

"Ok. I'll call the boys while you all get dress." Techna said while going for her phone.

"Flora. Where are you?" Klaus said from my room.

"Coming. Tell the boys to be here in half and hour." I said quickly.

"Ok." The girls said as I left the room.

"Good morning Klaus."

"Good morning Flora. How are you?"

"Good. Get dressed; the boys will be here soon." I said heading him his clean clothes.

"Thank you." He said as he went to the bathroom to get dress.

I grabbed my bag and started to pack. I was worried and scared for what was going to be there waiting for me. I was concerned for all the bakgun who have been locked away. Some of them were in my patients. I don't know what mental state they're in due to all of the abuse they were suffering. I was so nervous to the point of not getting any sleep last night. I heard a knock at the door and went to open it to see the boys.

"Hi, Helia," I chirped as I leaped into his arms resisting the urge to fall asleep in his warm arms.

"Hey, sweetie. Where is Klaus?"

"I am right here sir," Klaus said from behind me.

"Girls the boys are here," I called out.

"Brandon!" Stella screams as she ran to him.

"Hey, sunshine," Brandon said as he caught her.

"Ready to go, Flora," Klaus asked.

"Born ready," I said grabbing my bag.

"Flora, we'll get them back; you know that right," Helia said.

"I know. Let's get my partner back." I said grabbing his hand and running to the Owl.

"Prepare for take off," Timmy said as he started the ship.

I looked at Klaus to see his eyes full of hurt and anger. I slipped my small hand into his and gave it a small squeeze. Klaus looked down at our joined hands before looking up at me. Giving me a knowing smile, he slowly exhaled in relief.

"Flora, I have to ask, who was your partner?" Riven asked.

"Well, we need to start with the beginning. Bakugan at first was game invented by Dan, Shun, Marchuo, Julie, Runo, and Alice. I came later to the Bakugan Battle Brawlers after making an impression on Shun. After Dan had got Drago, his partner Bakugan, he realized that it was more than a game. The Bakugan home planet, Vestoria, was in grave dangers and it was up to the Battle Brawlers to save their home. After a while, their partners wanted to stay on earth with their human partners. Each Bakugan has a specific that correlates to their ability. The six are pyrus, meaning fire, aquos, meaning water, haos, meaning light, darkus, meaning darkness, ventus, meaning wind, and subterra meaning earth. My partner's name is Diablo, a ventus Bakugan. Klaus partner's name is Sirenoid, an Aquos Bakugan. The Bakugan may appear very small, but when they are released from their ball form, they are incredibly powerful. Diablo helps me run the BBA headquarters and my field partner. Sirenoid is Klaus'.."

"Don't say it."

"What Klaus! It's the truth. She is your secretary, get over. He's gets teased by this all the time." I said laughing, not able to contain it anymore.

"Is not." He said with a childish pout.

"Is too. She has been reminding you about events since you were ten."

"Whatever" Klaus said with a sigh.

"Anyway, all bakgun come from New Vestroia, their home. The bakgun are friends, family, and allies. The one thing they teach us is how come together like a family. It takes a tribe to raise a child; it takes a clan to raise bakgun. That's why we're so protective of them, and them of us." I explained sadly.

"So when Klaus came here yesterday.." Musa started.

"I already knew what happened."

"But how did you know about Diablo?" Helia asked.

"Call it a hunch. We have a bond with our partner that is so close when the other is hurt or hurting, you feel it. That and Gus told me."

"Who's Gus?" Stella asked.

"He works for the BBA, and my ex-boyfriend, but were still great friends. I gave him subterra, Vulcan, his partner. He used to be my patient many years ago. He was abused by his old partner, Hydron. Gus was looking for a partner, and he came by to see. Vulcan was still shy around people, especially men, so when he went up to Gus, we were all surprised. Gus loved and still does love Vulcan with everything he has. They are partners till the end. That's why I love my job. I give people and bakgun a second chance," I said with a smile on my face.

"Guys, we're here," Timmy said as he landed the ship.

We all disembark from the Owl, and I see Dan, Shun, and Marucho walking to us. I instantly drop my bag and run to them.

"I'm so sorry," I said as Dan cried on my shoulder.

"He took them, Flora, all of them." Marucho sobbed in his hand as I let Dan go to kneel to give him a hug.

"I'll fix this. I promise."

"I know you will," Shun said with tears rolling down his face.

His face reminded me of when his mother's funeral, his eyes swollen red, cheeks dampened with tears, biting his lip to stop himself from physically sobbing.

"Shun. I'll get her back. You have dealt with enough lost to last you a lifetime. I am not making you go through this again." I said hugging him.

"Brawlers meet the winx and specialist. Bloom, Stella, Layla, Musa, and Techna. And the boys Sky, Brandon, Timmy, Nabu, Riven and my boyfriend, Helia."

"Let's get to work Flo," Dan said taking my hand and pulling me inside.

Heila pov

I've never seen Flora so determined since she fought against Icy. I can't believe she never told me about Gus. I'm not a jealous person, 95% of the time, anyway. I realized that they were bigger issues than my jealousy, but I will find out of the information with time. I pick up her bags and give them to the guard at the door. I see her running down the hall with Dan, Shun, and Marchuo and into a room.

"Where is she going?" Riven asked

"Don't know. Only one way to figure it out," I said running after her.

We get into the room and see her looking at a monitor.

"How many did he take?" Flora asked.

"In total, 299 and counting," Marucho said sadly.

"How did get so many in one night?"

"We don't know. What we do know is that he's doing this behind the new law."

"What is the law anyway," Layla asked.

"The law said that all bakgun need to be registered as slaves or pet. If not then they will be apprehended for the sake of science or some other crap like that. The law itself sounds odd," Shun said.

"From what we heard about Bakugan, they seem like intelligent beings. Why would they be registered as slaves?" Tecna asked.

"Sadly yes. The people would ever agree to it, so he just took them from their homes." Klaus said.

"But how did he know where they live? There are over a million people in Linphea, and only half own bakgun at all," Flora said frustrated.

"The brawl," Dan said in shock.

"There was a brawl a week before I left. All the players had to sign in along with their partners battling or not. That has to be how knew where to find them," Flora said sadly in defeat.

"The good thing is we found some of the bakgun that were able to escape. Vulcan is one of them." Dan said hopefully.

"You tell Gus."

"No. I like my head on neck, not in a trash can." Dan said laughing slightly.

"Call Gus and tell him that I need to talk to him."

"On it," Marucho said picking up the phone.

"I may have no room to say anything but were all the bakgun taken at night?" I said.

"Actually yes. So if all of them were taken at night." Shun said.

"They had to be one at the top of the sign-in sheet."

"So we look for the ones already taken," Klaus added.

"Then we find the next victim," they echoed as Flora ran up to me and kissed me passionately.

"You're a genius." She said to me as I blushed.

"I called Gus he'll be here in an hour," Marucho said.

"Print out a list of everyone on the sign sheet that wasn't already taken." She ordered.

It's so odd how attractive I find her when she is giving out orders.

"The winx and specialist can split up with the list, get in, get bakgun, get out. Dan, Shun, Marucho, and I will call everyone on the list tell them what's going on and if they want more information to go the palace. After you guys are done, take the bakgun to the bunker for safety. I'll talk to the Vulcan and the others. Move it, people." She ordered as she left the room.

"You heard woman lets move," Stella said running out the door with the others.

"I seriously hate this new bossy Flora," Brandon whined as we headed out.

"I think it's hot," I said as my phone chimed.

"Flora sent me a text saying "Hey babe go to the garage with the guys. There is a surprise waiting for you. Love you." Let's go there then."

We rush to the garage to find to see several upgraded versions of our wind riders back on Magix.

"Correction, I love this bossy Flora," Brandon said as he goes on a bike.

"Let's go," I said hopping on the new bikes.

As the garage doors open, we zoom out of the garage, the girls flying overhead.
