CHAPTER# 5: WHY IT HURTS TO SEE YOU CRY

Queen was playing her favorite game the when janitor arrived and made an announcement.
"King futo the king of kings from crown wood had arrived".
Queen eyes glittered at the sound of king but her face fell as she heard the name of this so called king. She knows this king since many years after all he was her admirer since a long period of time.
Crown wood was rather poor country and in no better state then Chelsea. Secondly their king was nausea to miwa as his proposal had got rejected hundred of time.
No point in disagreeing with the statement that futo was good looking he was indeed handsome but had not enough money and now a days Chelsea was running out of it too. Taxes weren't enough to pay for queen parties so she can't marry a bank rapt king.
The king was summoned with three advisors at his tail. Futo had nothing on except his strawberry boxers; same was the case with advisors who were hiding behind each other. But king was proud to expose himself, he had heard that queen go's for handsome men but years of his pleading had finished his chances.
"We were attacked by bandits on our way, at your territory" reasoned futo while taking queen's hand and kissing it once.
Oh so that was the reason for him to wander naked on the streets of Chelsea. No wonder queen thought that futo had come up with this new idea to pursue her.
She ignored his reason as if it was nothing of her concern.
"azusa get the cloths for them and show them our guest room, they are in no state to talk" queen ordered before leaving her thrown as it was time for her beauty sleep.
Futo signed in disappointment.
"what a beauty, BUT I WILL NOT BACK UP, I SHALL FIGHT WITH ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO GET'S IN MY WAY TO PERSUE THE QUEEN" futo stormed while standing on near by table to act all high and mighty, full of enthusiasm.
He had forgotten that he was in his boxers and shouting like an idiot will make him look crazier.
"Poor guy the insult must have left deep damage to his brain" said one guard to the other.
"No! I can't do it, what if she finds out?" ema was now in royal kitchen and protesting against her maid friends.
"But you should go and have a look at village" said a motherly maid.
"What about miwa?" ema asked.
"What about her, if anything happens I will hold her back" said azusa who was happened to be their often since he decided to be at ema's side.
"Yeah He can even dress up like you and pretend to be ema white in your absence" grinned yusuki but recoiled as azusa glared.
"WHAT… I was just giving her some inspiration" yusuke reason and sweat dropped.
Ema giggled and just for a second a smile played on azusa's lips.
"Ok I will" ema agreed while everybody cheered.
The princess of Chelsea was breaking miwa's law first time in her life as she was a coward and never dared to even imagine it. It was a big step in her life but still she was scared.
Disguised in body length cloak she moved towards the guards of main gate.
"Open the gate, I am going out" it was first time in ema's life that she ordered someone after years.
One of the guards open and ema managed to slide through it with a racing heart.
"Is she even allowed going out?" asked one guards to the other.
"I don't know" the other answered.
"Well if you don't tell anyone I will not tell anyone either" first guard said to other.
"Neither will I" the latter answered.
"Pinky swear?" the first demanded.
"Pinky swears" and they swear locking their pinky's together.
Ema gasped at the sight of village, the difference between new and old village was like heaven and hell.
The village at the time of rintaru was prosperous, where people were happy and safe. They use to sing and dance to celebrate each beautiful day of their life. It was a village where there was too much to eat and the countries pride was stunning.
But all was gone with the LATE king, there was nothing left No food and No water. People were starving and screaming in agony due to their empty stomach. Richest of people were now in state of begging. The atmosphere had a ominous aura full of pain and sadness. Ema could not bear to see it anymore so she ran back to palace without miwa knowing a thing about her rule breaking.
"That place is horrible, miwa had destroyed everything" ema said between sobs.
"They will be ok, please don't cry" yusuki assured her.
"How can they be ok, when their queen is living her royal life with all these facilities and her people are starving to death?" ema shouted.
"There there dear, your shouting won't change anything" the motherly maid comforted her.
"Let her speak at last she proved that she have a tongue" the grumpy looking cook of royal kitchen spoke.
"SHUT UP" yusuki snapped at him.
"Why should I when all those times this girl, our only hope proved to be a coward"
Yusuki grabbed his collar and was about to punch the old cook.
"NO! Yusuki-kun don't hale is write, I am a coward I could have done something but I didn't so I deserve this" ema hid her face under her palm and cried.
Yusuki gave hale a last deadly glare before letting him go.
"We should let ema rest, she is all worn out" suggested the motherly maid and they all left leaving ema alone in her bedroom.
Ema felt a gentle hand on her head, ruffling her hair and secretly assuring her that everything will be alright. She looked up and found grey haired guy smiling at her warmly. It was still evening and lori managed to visit ema earlier as he heard about what happened today.
"lori-san" ema cried his name and jumped to tangle him in bone cracking hug.
Lori was startled by her sudden out burst but smiled down at her while embracing her with equal affection.
They were like this for hours and ema cried her heart out to which lori didn't protested because he wanted her pain to lessen. This resulted in lori shirt getting soaked in her tears as she was leaning against his chest but lori didn't mind a little.
It was mid-night when lori felt ema's steady breath against his neck, she had finally calmed down and dozed off due to exhaustion. He gently picked her up bridal style and placed her under the bed covers.
After thinking for a while he decided to stay with her so he slide in sheets, embraced her and pulled her closer.
'Why his hearts do this funny thing when he is around ema? It shouldn't because he already love someone it doesn't matter if his love is no longer alive but still he love her, then what is he doing with ema and why his heart bleeds to see ema cry? Why?'
NO HUMOR TODAY BECAUSE I AM NOT IN PRETTY GOOD MOOD BUT NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE FUN AS OUR IDIOTIC P-R-I-N-C-E IS GOING TO SHOW UP AND THERE WILL BE LOTS OF DRAMA HUMOR AND SPICES.
