The raindrops crashed against the cabwindow as we drove to Anubis House.

''Where'd you have to be?'' the cabdriver asked.
''Uh...It says...'' I skipped trough the document in my hand,''Amun Academic Boarding School, Anubis House.''

After a few minutes the man's voice broke the silence, ''Alright we're here!''
I stepped out of the cab, as I gazed to the school.''Wow...'' I mutterd. It didn't seemed like it was a school, more like an old castle or something.

I paid the cabdriver as he lift my suitcase out of the trunk. After the cab drove away I turned around. This is where I'm going to life, wow I still can't believe it: I thought

I walked further to the front door, as I searched for the bell. But somehow the door unlocked and opend itself. Although, I thought it was opening itself, there was nobody around and could open the door.

Anyway, when I arrived at the hall, the old-Victorian style blowed me away. It was beautifull, and reminded me of my grandpa's house. It had the same ''style'' and it was old. Because of that, I felt a 'bit homesick. But I hadded to stay calm, because there was no way back now. I was already arrived.

The door behind me slammed, and suddenly a man stood in front of me. ''What are you doing?'' he asked angry. I didn't even saw that man for 5 minutes, but this man creeps me out. Not the best way to make ''newbies'' feel welcome.

''Oh, well, uhm...I'm new here.'' I said ''Hii, I'm Katherine.'' While I said that I was supposed to give him a handshake, but he rejected that. How rude..

''Oh, and the bell isn't working?'' he asked still angry. Oke, so maybe I understand that he is angry cause some stranger walks in in his house, but still.

''No...I mean yes...But the door was open so I-''

''So you just walked in..'' he interrupted me.

''Yeah, that's kinda how we do that it my country.'' I laughed, ''Oh, and you must be...Victor Rodenmaar'' I said.

''I'm the caretaker, now I'll show you where everyting is and where your room is.''

After a little tour trough the house, he showed my my room. ''This is where you sleep, the lights must be out by ten.''

''And what if I'm still hanging around by ten?'' I asked.

He picked a toothbrush out of his coat, ''then this will happen, you alone cleaning every toilet bowl in the school.''

Oh, didn't saw that one coming...
