Chapter 4,

Howl,

The mysterious woman that he had seen in the forest that night had once again reappeared, she walked over and stood directly in front of him, looking down at what she had created, and she gave a half-cocked evil smile.

"Don't fight it my pet, embrace the gift I have given you, I've given you the power to crush those who sneer at you and whisper behind your back." She said, in a caressing hypnotic tone,

"I remember you, in the forest, that night, what have you done to me; you made me believe I was losing my mind, punishing me." Guy asked,

"I haven't punished you; I've given you a gift." She repeated,

"You made me hurt my friend, and an innocent girl." He said, as his body quacked and he let out a moan,

"Hood isn't your friend, he's taken so much from you, how can you call him a friend?" She demanded, a hiss in her voice,

"I killed Marian, and he gave me a chance to redeem myself." Guy corrected,

"You didn't kill Marian, Robin did, he poisoned her turned her against you, and stop trying to be what you were never meant to be, Mafayu said that herself, accept who you are." The mysterious woman continued, a tendril of her thick black hair whipping by her face,

"How do you know that?" He demanded,

"I know everything, now listen to me." She answered, before she knelt to his level, "Channel that anger I know you have inside of you, the anger you have towards Robin, how can he so readily give up Marian for another woman, and the anger you have towards his new woman, that blonde witch."

Guy then let out a deep growl as he grabbed at the loose earth, "What's happening to me?" He demanded,

"You're reaching your full potential don't stop now." She urged,

It was then that the moon came out from behind the clouds once more shining directly through the break in the trees and casting its light on Guy, Instantly he snapped his head down and his eyes flashed yellow. Barring his teeth they grew into fangs, and his clenched fists grew claws and morphed into paws, as the hair from his head shot down his back covering him in a thick black fur.

As his transformation continued he grew in size and stature, his eyes shimmering to a blood red, as he then threw his head to the sky and howled like the beast he now was, the woman then walked over to him and petted him on the neck.

"Have fun tonight my Gisborne, you won't remember a thing tomorrow." She said, as Guy then took off into the forest, his direction and course set for Clun and the unsuspecting villagers,

He ran fast and hard, the chilly air not posing a problem for him as he was protected by his long shaggy black hair; he ran with his mouth slightly open his new hooked teeth shinning in the moonlight. And then he saw it, the lights from the small houses signalling that he was close now, he then crept into the square and lifted his nose to the sky.

Catching a scent he was off again, until he leapt and pounced on a man who was returning to his house after a day a work, the creature knocked him off his feet and then continued his barrage of attacks. His long sharp claws tore through the poor mans flesh and clothes, as he screamed for assistance, lights were soon flickering to life in the dark houses as men ran from them.

As a door opened close by the light shone onto the unrecognizable figure of the dark knight, who now appeared as a creature of destruction, it flicked it's head towards the open door, before growling and bounding off towards the man who stood there, no longer interested in his first kill. He lunged at the man's throat knocking him into the house where it then saw a small boy who was cowering in a corner unable to defend his father.

He let his concentration stray for but a moment and the villager took the chance to try and tackle the animal, there was a yelp of surprise as the man grabbed a pitcher and tried to hit the creature with it. But before he could it bit the man's shoulder drawing blood and inducing a scream of pain, before it resumed its hold on the man's throat.

In a second the man was dead and the creature licked its chops, it's fur slick with innocent blood, a small object then struck him on the nape of his neck and he flicked his head towards the boy who had attempted heroism. He barked at the now petrified boy and slowly slinked towards him, licking the remnants of blood off its jaw as it inched ever closer.

It lunged taking the boy out with one strike, but even till the end his eyes showed no fear, though his body displayed it openly, he was then diverted from consuming his kill when he heard a rush of breath from an adjacent room. He ignored the small frame of his 3'rd kill and inspected the room, it was dark but his eyes were trained to see in the dark.

It saw a woman standing defensively holding a wooden plank ready to defend herself if necessary, the creature then sprinted towards her but he took an unexpected hit to the side and crashed to the floor. Anger now surging through its veins it lunged at her a second time avoiding the swings of the plank, and grabbed it instead throwing it aside.

He then righted himself and lunged another attack set on killing the now defenceless woman, but before he could strike she grabbed a bundle off the floor and turned her back shielding it, ready to lay down her life for what she now held. It took her down and started gnawing at her until it lifted its nose to the roof and smelt smoke, they were trying to burn him.

He then lost interest and focused on self-preservation as it turned and bounded out of the building, tackling and killing yet another villager, before it sprinted through the town jumping on a woman and grabbing her by the throat. He saw the fear in her eyes and fuelled from it before he then brought his jaws down upon her neck.

He remained over her as the thick liquid filled his mouth, and he continued to bite, following the veins as he continued down her arm, all the time in the world as the villagers fumbled in the dark, now trying to put out the fire as they heard screaming coming from within. Finally the creature had it's fill of the innocent villagers and looked to the moon, realizing it was late it looked back at the villagers and let out an unholy howl, before taking off into the forest.

As the creature of darkness ran it's leg that took the hit was beginning to give out and it collided with a tree and came to a crashing stop, it looked over into the distance and noticed another town, but this time it wasn't out for blood, it was looking for sanctuary. It trotted closer to the town until finally it fell to it's side and succumbed to transformation, as the fur faded away the teeth returned to what they were, and his paws returned to pale hands.

Guy leant on his hurt arm and moaned silently as he rose to his feet, he looked down dazedly and noticed he was in his undershirt; he looked around at the world that now danced before him, and started walking. He didn't even know where he was, but regardless he still walked and as if knowing where he was going to walked into the village.

Making his way towards a certain house he made the loudest knock that was possible for him in his weary condition, the occupant only barely heard the knock and walked to the door. Opening it she was surprised to see Guy there and gasped in shock.

"Please…" He managed to mutter, before he slid off the door frame and fell onto her, nearly taking her with him when he went down,

He was so heavy she barely managed to remain standing, but using all her strength she carried his lifeless form to her bed, and lay him down on the soft covers taking his boots off before she lifted them onto the bed as well. He had blood on his hand and there was a small tear in his sleeve which was caused by the collision with the tree while he was still in the form of the savage beast.

She smiled unconsciously to herself before she walked off returning with a bowl of water and a cloth, similar to what she had when she cleaned the cut on his face. After she had cleaned his wound, she started darning his shirt while he was still wearing it, she didn't want to stab him with the pin but since he was out cold she didn't think it mattered that much if she did accidently prick him.

After she was finally finished tending to him, she grabbed a spare blanket and positioned herself comfortably in a chair ready to get what little sleep she could from the remainder of the night. The following morning Guy woke to the sound of singing, thought it seemed distant, he could hear it clearly, it wasn't in English it was in a foreign tongue he didn't recognize.

Well there you have it, if any of you are still following me, please let me know and drop a review, I can't guarantee I will upload on time, but I an certainly try, thank you =}
