I can't even begin to apologize for the delay of...well forever, but here is another chapter, and I cannot promise when another will come out because I am currently working on a DA:I Fic called 'I Don't Want To Die' so please enjoy the chapter if any of you still read!
Chapter 7,
The Beast Speaks,
"You kept me waiting Guy." She said, her citrine eyes shining from under her hood, as she watched Guy drop to his knees,
"I'm mastering the beast within me, it won't be long until I can control myself and no longer do your bidding." He explained,
"Please, you think I didn't sense your distaste for the woman you know as Kate." She spat,
Guy barked and snarled at the witch, he was still human for now, "And there it is." She said with an evil smile,
"I will not kill her." Guy said defiantly,
"We shall see." She then grabbed him under the chin and looked into his eyes, her own a shimmering golden spiral,
"I can become any creature I choose, dog, cat, horse, bird, and many more, but the most noble, and powerful is the wolf, which is why I have given the gift to you. I am over a thousand years old, and know many forms, I could observe in peace until your kind decided to make a home out of my forest.
So when I chose you, I was blessing you with what took me years to learn, and yet you wish to destroy that power, then so be it, you can't last a day without my help. You'll never learn to control your transformation; so far I am all that's keeping you human." She said, as she then let him go, and disappeared into the forest once more,
When she left Guy begun to change and ultimately became a mindless beast once more, unknowingly to him the witch was still watching and playing him as a puppet. And she was done with the intruders in her home; it was time for them to die, so that meant that Robin's time was up.
The creature then trotted off in the direction of the camp, slowing to a walk when it arrived slinking into the camp, treading with care as it made its way to Kate's bunk. Rising to its hind legs it walked over as if it were part human, its tail unconsciously caught Robin's nose as it passed by waking him up.
Robin was horrified to see the snarling beast in his camp, so he grabbed his bow as quickly and quietly as he could, Robin saw it's bloodthirsty fangs and red glowing eyes. It was even more formidable in person; he placed an arrow in the string and pulled back on it.
Just as the creature was about to administer a fatal blow to the sleeping form of Kate; Robin loosed the arrow striking the creature in the side. It let out a painful howling yelp and dropped to its fours, the camp was instantly awake, and the moon slipped out from behind the clouds shinning light into the camp.
They grabbed their weapons ready to defend themselves, even though they were scared out of their minds, Robin loaded another arrow ready to loose it into the creature again. But then the unthinkable happened.
"Lock…sley." It spoke for the first time, whimpering from the pain with its head low,
"What the hell?" Allan was now at the point of keeling over faint, especially since it said Robin's name,
"Please…don't." It was begging for its life, which was a shock to all,
"It's a…curse…" There was a scream of pain, its voice still human,
"No…I…I won't." It seemed to be in pain as it pawed its head,
But in a split second it had bounded out of the camp and ran off into the forest, its pace hampered by the arrow that had buried itself deeply into his haunches. Its course was set for Locksley the only place it or he knew sanctuary could be found from the one woman that didn't run away from him, Mafayu.
The camp was still in a state of shock, they barley had time to comprehend what was happening before it was over, but the one thing that they could understand was that it knew Robin.
"I'm not be'n funny, but that thing knew your name." Allan said shakily,
"Witchcraft." John said,
"Yes, that was witchcraft, but it was no beast." Robin dismissed,
"That most certainly looked supernatural to me." Much joined in,
"What do you mean 'wasn't a beast'?" Kate asked, in her opinion that thing was most certainly a beast,
"He called me Locksley; he wanted me to know it was him, he's been cursed like he said." Robin continued,
"What are you talking about Robin?" Tuck asked,
"That was Gisborne." He answered,
"What?" John questioned,
"It makes sense, that's why he didn't' remember killing anyone, it's why he was in the forest that morning, he remembered a woman, she did this to him and he has no control over it." Robin realized,
"Are you saying a witch did this to him?" Much asked,
"Exactly."
"Great because here I thought our lives were dangerous enough already." Allan complained, but with good reason,
"So we have to find him before someone else does, grab torches and get ready to follow a blood trail." He ordered,
"Why he's beyond evil now?" Kate asked,
"He has nothing to do with this, just a moment ago he was fighting with whomever is controlling him, he was not going to kill us, Gisborne is in there, and we have to help him." Robin said, his voice raised from both fear and desire to get a member of his gang back,
"Robin is right Kate, Gisborne is being held prisoner by some dark power, and we need to free him before this person makes him do anything else that he doesn't want to." Tuck said aiding Robin's reasoning,
"Then what are we waiting for?" Allan asked, as the last torch was lit and he begun scouring the ground for blood,
They followed the blood trail for a while until Robin realized where it was heading; it was set on a course for Locksley, realizing that he could once again attack there he issued an order to his gang.
"Gisborne's headed to Locksley, and they can't fight him off again so we have to get there now!" He yelled,
So the gang was off, sprinting as fast as they could through the forest, the crisp night air cutting around them as they went, they knew that it was going to be a matter of life or death for the villagers. So if need be they had to be there to save them from total slaughter.
The creature's pace had been slowed and its eyes were no longer red but had returned to the more common gold tone it had while it was human. Gisborne had limited control over the creature for the time being and while he did he wanted to change back, he wasn't sure how he was going to do it, but he needed help first.
His logic was clouded but the one thing he did know was that he needed to get to Mafayu, even if she tried to kill him to, when he went there, but he had to take the chance. Maybe if she didn't' run away from his human form, she would be compassionate to his beastly side, he didn't have much hope, but for the moment he didn't have a choice.
He whimpered as the blood trickled through his fur his breathing was laboured and wheezy, and as he made it to Locksley he had forgotten about the townspeople who would be on alert ready for the beast to show up again so they could kill it. But when he entered the village he soon ended up in an ambush, he didn't want to kill anyone but he also didn't want to die, not like this.
So mustering the remaining strength he had he let out a bloodcurdling cry, scaring the villagers that were approaching with pitchforks and other makeshift weapons, he continued to growl and snarl, lunging at them making them run. When they were a safe distance away he quickly broke through Mafayu's door and stood inside, his legs now shaking from exhaustion.
He panted loudly before looking up at Mafayu who was terrified and holding the child she had sworn to care for, he tried to speak to tell her there was nothing to fear, but he choked instead and soon fell to his side. And soon at a steady pace he had transformed back into human form, the arrow falling to the floor as he became smaller though the wound remained.
"Sir Guy!" She breathed in shock, as she quickly lay the child down and continued to his side,
She was soon interrupted by the villagers who had seen the transformation, "Gisborne is this beast, and he has returned to his witch mistress." One of them said,
"Let's kill them both, and send their souls back to the pits of hell from whence they came." Another said,
"No I have nothing to do with this, stop!" She cried,
Gisborne was to weak to protest as several men dragged him from the ground and took him from the house along with Mafayu, "Stop this I've done nothing, I've helped you!" she protested,
"You were trying to make sure your pet finished his work, witch." He spat,
"Burn her!" A woman cried,
"No!"
"Gather the firewood and tie her up, we'll take care of her pet first." The seemingly leader of the small group ordered, as they carried Gisborne towards the pond,
She kicked and screamed as they began tying her up, first her hands and then her feet, finally her screams reached Guy's ears and he woke from his unresponsive state, his side was burning and he was fully aware of his surroundings. He begun to fight against those who were holding him, "She has nothing to do with this let her go." He yelled,
"Of course a pet would say this of his mistress." A man dismissed,
"Let go of me!" Guy ordered, and even though he fought he didn't have the strength in him,
So he did something that he would never have thought he would do, he channelled his beast side, his eyes glowed yellow but he couldn't make the transition, and so the group that held him kicked his knees out from under him and he fell to the edge of the Locksley pond. They then plunged him into the icy water, he thrashed around, but he had no chance of returning to the surface as the men held Guy's arms behind his back.
But after a while he broke to the surface and let out a half beast growl, his teeth had changed and so had some of his facial features but he still couldn't make the transition, and once again he was plunged into the water. They forced him down with all their energy, because the minor change Guy had gone through had given him a boost to his strength which made him harder to control.
Meanwhile Robin and the rest of the gang had finally made it to the outskirts of Locksley, and when they had they could hear a great deal of commotion going on, including the screams of a woman who was Mafayu. So they ran that much faster to get there before Gisborne or anyone else was killed, when they finally entered the village Gisborne had almost stopped fighting and was now nearly drowned, while Mafayu was about to be burned to death.
"Stop this now!" Robin ordered, as he drew back his bow, before loosing it knocking the torch out of the hand of the man that was about to set the wood Mafayu was lying on alight,
"Robin! Please help me!" She screamed, tears distorting her fear filled cries,
"Get the girl, I'll get Gisborne." He continued, as he placed another arrow in his bow and pulled back,
He threatened the men who were holding Gisborne down which caused them to back off, so they let go of him, and when they did he was still face-first in the water.
"Get back now!" Robin ordered, realizing that there wasn't much time left to save Gisborne,
"This man is the devil's spawn you're making a mistake saving him." The leader said,
"I said get back!" Robin yelled again, before he loosed an arrow that grazed the instigator's shoulder, which caused the rest of the men to back off,
Robin then quickly grabbed Guy under the arms and pulled him out of the water, but he wasn't breathing, "Gisborne!" Robin called, but there was no response,
"You'll thank me for this later." He continued, before he then slapped Guy multiple times, but still that didn't work,
"Get out of the way his drowning!" Mafayu ordered, as she pushed Robin out of the way and then pressed her lips against Gisborne's,
"I'm not be'n funny but kissing him isn't going to help." Allan said,
He was making a joke until he saw her breath into his mouth and he was then perturbed, Mafayu then started pushing on his chest, she then breathed into his mouth again holding his nose as she did so. And pushing on Guy's chest one more time finally had him coming back to the land of the living, as he rolled to his side and coughed up mouthfuls of water when he had stopped coughing he looked up groggily.
"Sir Guy." Mafayu called,
But Guy wasn't going to respond because he was contentedly leaving the world and consciousness behind.
"We need to go Robin these people aren't to happy that we're taking these two." Kate warned, as she hurried over to Robin, after leaving Much, John, and Tuck who were keeping the villagers at bay,
"John, you take Gisborne, Allan you bring the girl." He ordered,
"I have a name you know, it's Mafayu." She said, protesting the use of the term 'girl',
"Well we don't exactly have time for pleasantries at the moment, now John get over here." Robin ordered,
"We should just let them kill him he's evil!" John protested,
"We do not, have time for this John grab Gisborne now, you're the only one who can carry him." Robin dismissed, so John scooped Gisborne up with great hesitance and protest,
And so when John had Gisborne over his shoulder they were about to race off into the forest until Mafayu protested, "Stop I need to go back, I need to take the baby." She said,
"What baby?" Robin asked,
"A woman died in Clun and she asked me to care for her daughter, if I leave her here they'll kill her thinking her to be my offspring." She explained,
"Hurry up then because we need to go, Allan make sure no one takes her back." Robin ordered, unwilling to remain in Locksley when he had a choice in the matter,
Finally they were back and Mafayu was carrying the baby, Robin was happy to set off away from Locksley and return to his forested home, even though they had to travel at a slow pace because of the baby. When they were back at camp Guy was laid out on his new bed and Tuck soon began removing his shirt to tend to the arrow wound in his side while Mafayu sat alone to cradle the baby until Kate gave her some milk.
"I don't see how you can try and save him after everything his done after all the people he's killed, he's the devil." John protested yet again,
"Enough John! Go paint a cross on a tree or something if you don't like it, or shut up!" Robin snapped, startling everyone in the camp,
"Robin." Tuck called,
"What?" Robin asked angrily,
"Have a look at this." Robin then walked over to see what Tuck wanted to show him,
"The wound you gave Guy when you shot him with an arrow, it's gone through days of healing and it's a fresh wound." The Friar explained,
"How can that be?" Robin asked genuinely surprised,
"I don't know, all I can say is that his beast nature must have given him the ability to heal at a rapid pace." Tuck answered,
"That sounds like the only explanation." Robin agreed,
"What are we going to do when he regains conscious and he returns to the monster that killed all those villagers?" Tuck asked,
"He has some control over his monstrous side, but whoever is controlling him will want their pet back so they'll probably try harder to gain control over him again and get him back, so we need to restrain him." Robin reasoned,
"Perhaps we could persuade Isabella to lock him in the dungeons that way he wouldn't hurt anyone." Tuck considered,
"They do seem to be on terms at the moment, and we don't have to tell her why we want him locked up as long as she doesn't see him when he's transformed." Robin agreed,
"Then tomorrow we should take him to her." Tuck continued,
"Agreed when he wakes up we'll see if he's alright, and then tell him our plan." Robin agreed, "And what about you are you alright?" He asked, as he turned his attention to the latest addition to the camp,
"I'm fine thank you." She replied,
Since the break in at the camp no one could sleep, especially since the one who broke in was seemingly sleeping just in front of them, they were concerned that they would have to fight for their lives at any minute. But as time passed on their worries slowly began to subside, Mafayu was the only one who was not afraid as she was already sleeping with the baby by her side, but that peace was soon short lived.
Gisborne's eyes shot open and flashed yellow, he then rolled off the bunk and dropped to all fours, where he began to breath heavily and pant, Robin hurried over to him, while the rest of the gang had their weapons ready for use.
"Gisborne, are you alright?" He asked, as he placed a hand on Guy's shoulder,
Guy flicked his head up, his face had started to change, his teeth were carnivorous, this caused Robin to jump back in surprise, he growled but there was still humanity there, he then looked to Robin with desperation.
"She's trying to take me back, please you have to tie me up, now." Guy begged,
So Robin offered him a hand up and they walked over to a sturdy tree, "Get as much rope as you can." He ordered,
"Make it tight, you have to stop me." Guy warned, Robin nodded in acknowledgement,
When they had finished, Guy was fighting the witch all he could but even though he was a strong man he could not stand against her, and finally he had transformed back into the bloodthirsty hell hound. His eyes glowed white and he looked over the entire group before stopping at Robin, and when he spoke the sound of the voice startled everyone.
"Fools! You dare come into my forest and live here, and now you have taken my pet." The witch spat, using Gisborne as her means of talking with them,
"What do you want with him?" Robin asked,
"He is mine and no longer yours there is nothing to discuss, now release him!" She ordered,
"He has done nothing to you, you should be the one releasing him." Robin protested,
"He is the only strong one among you, he is worthy of the gift I have given him, you are not, you are not even worthy to be in his presence, it's a shame he didn't kill you when he had the chance, a moment of weakness that I will make sure never happens again." She continued,
"This isn't a gift this is a curse, he is not an animal he is a human being." Robin spat,
"And yet all of you treat him like he is worse than an animal." She dismissed,
"The forest is my home and I know what happens in it, you give him sideways glances and distrust him more than you would an enemy who was trying to kill you, the only time you show him any concern is when he is trying to kill you all." She explained, "You there, the blonde, his mind runs rampant with you, I can only imagine why you where the first one he tried to kill."
"How we treat him has got nothing to do with you controlling him." Kate dismissed,
"Oh but it does, how much longer do you think he can fight his feelings as this, 'beast' perhaps I should leave him here with you, that way my plan will be complete after all, he wants you dead, I can feel his thoughts." She said,
"This is your doing, Guy is a good man, he doesn't want to hurt anyone anymore, you have no right to control him like this." Mafayu said, stepping in,
"And what do we have here, I don't believe I...ah Mafayu the witch, we are not so different, are we girl, Guy thinks of you quite often, along with some Marian." The witch said,
"I am no witch." She protested,
"Enough! I want you out of my forest, and I want my pet back, so if you don't hand him over to me he will kill you, you have been warned." The witch said,
"If you want him why don't you come get him yourself?" Robin asked,
And just like that she was gone, Guy's eyes returned to normal and his beastly form subsided, he was limp and lifeless after the conversation was finished, because even though the witch had plenty of power Guy was just a man, and the energy it must if taken out of him was unfathomable.
"Get him down." Robin said,
"No...You musn't...she will use me to kill you all, you must leave me here." Guy protested,
"We can't leave you here like this." Much said,
"Any cage you made I would be able to break out of, this is the safest place for both of us." Guy explained,
"Tomorrow we'll take you to Isabella, she can keep you in the dungeon." Robin said,
"Good idea, those doors are strong I wouldn't be able to break out, we have to kill her it's the only way, before dawn she is mortal, she can die, we need to lure her out at that time and then kill her, and I know how to do it, but it might take me a while." Guy explained,
"How's that?" Robina asked,
"It's better if you didn't know." Guy replied,
"How do you even know she can be killed?" Much asked,
"Because she is weak before dawn, she thinks that I cannot enter her mind and read her thoughts, but I feel her as if she is a part of me, the more she attempts to take over the more control I have over her. If she doesn't return to her physical body before dawn, she will die." Guy explained,
Robin didn't press him further and instead beckoned the group to return to bed for what was left of the night, tomorrow he would go to Isabella and he would be safe, and they had to work out how to trap a witch. Although Guy had explained that she could be caught before dawn and killed, Robin was used to an enemy that he could face down with a weapon and kill, it was a frightening thought to go up against an immortal being.
"She called you a witch, is it true?" Robin asked after a moment of silence,
"No it is not true." Mafayu replied,
"Then explain." John insisted, and so she did,
"A long time ago when I was young my parents and I had a shop, an apothecary, we had all kinds of herbs and remedies, but we were often treated with suspicion because no one understood what we did, and they thought it to be witchcraft. So one day the townspeople acted on that fear and came to kill us, I escaped while my parents were killed from a crime they were innocent of, they died for nothing." She explained,
"For what it's worth, I'm sorry." Much said,
"Thank you, I'd rather not speak more of it."
"We should try to get as much sleep as we can before tomorrow, as hard as it is we need the rest." Tuck said, the camp agreed although sleep would be impossible, tomorrow was going to be interesting,
While the others slept Mafayu watched Guy as he watched the sun start to rise, she felt for him and his affliction and wanted nothing more than to cure him, against all the warning she had been given she dismissed them and went to talk to Guy anyway. Guy was startled when he finally noticed her.
"You should stay away from me, I might hurt you." He said,
"I know you won't hurt me, you're not that person anymore." She countered,
"I am sick of people telling me what I am and what I'm not, do I get a say in it anymore?" He asked, his voice full of anger and resentment,
"I didn't mean that I..."
"Enough! Leave me!" Guy growled his fangs and eyes changing, his voice deepened,
"I will not leave you, if this is what you are for as long as you live than so be it, I will never leave you, and my opinion of you will never change." She said defiantly,
"I'm a monster that's who I am." He growled, his body form was changing,
"Stop saying that, if you say that about yourself you won't be able to control the beast that dwells within you." Mafayu explained,
"Why fight the truth."
"You know the truth, stop fighting it and let it in, are you that worried about being a good person, what is there to be afraid of, are you afraid someone will actually accept you?" She nearly spat at him,
There was a moment of silence between them before Mafayu turned and left, she was tired and trying to talk sense into a dense man wasn't going to work, at least not at the moment, but she knew he knew the truth about himself. Tomorrow had finally come, the camp had slept in almost to noon, it showed just how tired they were, when the morning meal had been prepared Gisborne refused to eat, dismissing the humiliation of being spoon fed.
Finally they untied him for the walk to Nottingham castle, he would be safe there, and it was something he wanted, he said he needed it to focus his concentration on defeating the witch that had enslaved him. However Robin and the others were sceptical, they assumed he was willing to lock himself away to keep everyone safe, denying his own happiness in the process.
They had to quicken the pace along the way when they noticed Guy transforming, the witch was serious when she said she wanted him back, because he had never suffered the transformation during the day before. When they finally got there Guy had managed to hide his beastly features from his sister.
"Isabella, you need to lock me up in the dungeon." He said,
"Lock you up in the dungeon, whatever for?" She asked puzzlingly,
"I'm the beast Isabella, I need to be kept away from others, so I wont' hurt them." he explained,
"What?" She was in a state of shock,
"It's true, it's a long story but Guy's been cursed by a witch and needs you to keep him safe for now until we can find a way to help him." Robin explained, giving her the short version,
Isabella grabbed her dungeon keys and led the way, but she wasn't finished asking questions, "How did you find this witch, my men haven't reported anyone new in the towns?" She asked,
"I found her in the woods a while ago, I thought she was wounded, and that night I had killed half the people in Clun, innocent men women and children." Guy answered,
"How are you going to kill this witch?" Isabella asked, as she locked the door on her brother, sadness in her voice, she still cared for her brother,
"I've got a way Isabella, but I need time to prepare." Guy said,
"What about you Robin, you need to find her while Guy is locked away." She reasoned,
"I'm afraid we can't find her, she leaves her body during the night and hides during the day, we live in these woods and apparently she was here before us, so if we haven't found her now, I doubt we ever will." Robin explained,
"How can this be?" She asked, this didn't make any sense to her it was certainly witchcraft,
"I wish I knew." Guy said,
Isabella cupped her brothers face with her hand, "I will do everything I can to help you brother." She vowed,
He gave a small laugh, "I thought you wanted to deliver my head to Prince John on a spike."
"You're still my brother and you don't deserve this." She said,
"I love you Isabella." Guy breathed, before he moved away from the door and into the shadows where they couldn't see him,
Both Isabella and Robin were shocked to hear the words even though they both knew it was true, she heard rattling chains in the cell and peered in to see what was going on, but she fell to the ground when Guy who was now a wolf, sprung at the bars startling her, as he growled ferociously.
"He really is the monster." Isabella breathed, as Robin quickly helped her away form the door so she wasn't hurt,
"We'll find a way to fix this, I promise." He said,
"You better." She still couldn't believe the fate that had befallen her brother,
Robin left to return to the Gang to try and scour through the forest to find where the witch could be hiding, he had checked with Tuck no one had heard of anything like this before, and if they had they hadn't recorded it. They decided to start with the caves, they hadn't been to them in a while and there was the chance that they were now being used to hide the witch throughout the day.
And from Guy's information if they found her they could kill her because she was in a mortal body during the day which made her killable, but if they found her body at night they could still kill her and would probably stand a better chance of success. Because while she was in her body it made her harder to find, because she could move and find a new spot to hide when they got to close to where she was.
So whether they liked it or not they had to rely more and more on Guy's idea, and they hoped that it stood a far better chance than their's, but the way he explained his ability to solve this problem, Robin realized Guy knew what he was doing. He had no idea how the two were connected, how she was forcing him into becoming a monster, and how he was using her thoughts to defeat her.
Hours had passed and there was no sign of the witch where they searched, and Kate wasn't helping matters with her negative ideas on how they should just kill Guy in the hope that it would reverse what had happened to him. They knew that she was only saying this because she saw it as a way to get rid of Guy when she had the chance, and Robin had had enough of it and told her to remain silent for the rest of the search.
They had found footprints in the forest that lead to a cave, this was the closest they had ever been to finding her, so they proceeded into the cave with caution and their weapons drawn. When they entered they only found dead villagers with slash marks, undoubtedly kills that Guy was responsible for while he was attacking the villages, but they were old so they had to have been from Clun.
"They noticed that besides the expected wounds from Guy, these bodies were being eaten, and the bites were far to small, so they realized the bodies were brought here by the witch to feed on later. They had found where she lived.
"I don't like this Robin, we should leave." John said,
"We've found where she lives." Kate said,
"She's eating the bodies, that is revolting, it's beyond revolting.' Much added,
"We've found where she lives but it does us no good, she's moved on now that we've come here." Robin reasoned, "And I can't ask any of you to stay here and guard the place, because if we all stayed here it wouldn't help she just wouldn't come back." He continued,
"What are we going to do now Robin?" Tuck asked,
"There's nothing we can do but keep looking, maybe we can find her yet." Robin offered,
And while Robin and the rest of the gang scoured the forest with the false hope that they could find the witch, Isabella had travelled back to the dungeon to see how her brother was doing.
"Guy..." She called,
"Isabella...you shouldn't be here." Guy breathed from the dark shadows of the cell,
"You must be hungry you haven't eaten anything for a long time." She said,
"I don't need food Isabella, I need time to finish what I'm doing." He answered,
"Will you tell me what you're doing?" She asked,
"No." He answered simply,
"At least let me get you some food." she offered,
He jumped on the bars scaring her again, his eyes glowing white, "He said no woman! Leave him be he doesn't need you, he has me now and I am the only thing he needs, the only one who cares for him." The witch snapped,
"Who are you, and what have you done to my brother?" Isabella asked,
"I have done nothing to him, I have offered him a gift that he took readily, and now you people would strip him of it." She answered,
"It's a curse, you didn't give him a choice." Isabella protested,
"You've been speaking with the forest boy I see, what would Prince John think if he saw you like this?" The witch toyed,
"I will do whatever I have to, to save my brother from you." Isabella said,
"I've noticed, your forest snipes have already interrupted my feed." She said,
"What feed?"
"My new pet brought some of his kill to me, and I do so like his gift they were tasty mortals, and now I have been interrupted, leaving me with no choice I shall have to kill by myself." The witch explained,
"He didn't you're lying." Isabella dismissed,
"You know I'm not lying, but let's make it fun, maybe we shall meet, I'll go home to feed, if you can figure out where I'm going we shall finally meet, I hope you do, I'm looking forward to seeing the face behind the defiant voice." The witch taunted, before it released Guy and he slumped down against the door,
"Guy, Guy are you alright?" Isabella asked as she shook his shoulder,
"I'm fine Isabella, now go, I need to be alone, you won't want to see me when I'm like this." He answered,
"I'll leave some food for you, you still need to eat Guy." Isabella said, as she rose to her feet and left her brother alone,
When she was gone Guy closed his eyes, "I accept your gift, I will crush everyone you say." He said,
"Wise choice my pet, I knew you would realize that my power can benefit you, tonight we will rid you of the forest boy, and the woman Kate." The witch said, as she released her power into him, and made him a stronger beast,
When Isabella left she was pacing the halls trying to figure out where the witches home may have been, there was no telling how old this woman was, and because she had never seen this witch there was no way of knowing if she knew her or not. She never had much love for her brother ever since he sold her, but this was not how she wanted his end to be, if he had to die she wanted it to be by her hands.
But for now none of that mattered, she had to free her brother from the clutches of this witch, then if any vendetta against him still remained she would continue it then, but for now she had realized where her priorities were.
