Any person from the outside would suspect that the band and the choir got along great. It would make sense if that is how it worked. The musical kids stuck together right? Well not exactly, at our school at least it was the complete opposite. I guess you could say we were like the greasers and the socs, always at each other's throats yet complimenting each other in a way nobody was quite aware of, that it unless you were Troye and I. There he was practically the leader of the choir, me another irrelevant alto saxophone player, and yet we shared a friendship that nobody knew about because nobody needed to know.
It was well known that the band was generally the rougher kids, I guess the greasers of school. Yes of course we had those few music prodigies who ignored the rest of us on a daily basis, but for the most part we were a tight knit, constantly fighting, always welcoming family who would stick their neck out for anybody member of the group who needed help. The choir on the other hand was known to have a lot of drama that they did their best to hide at times, and spread through the whole school themselves other times. The big difference between the two groups is that I can honestly say I love almost every single member of the band and say that I hate each member of the choir, with one exception of course.
