The students waited anxiously for someone to break the silence as, for probably the thousandth time that day, they wondered how it had come to this. Their headmaster's expression gave nothing away as he sipped his coffee from behind his desk, yet it was clear from Glinda's expression that the group were quite probably in the biggest trouble they had ever been in.
'Things just kind of… escalated.'
An involuntary choking laugh from Nora echoed round the spacious hall which was quickly silenced by a glare from the Ice Princess herself – Weiss Schnee. Nora scratched her head nervously as she grinned at the violet headed girl who had finally decided to speak up.
'Aurora, that's a HUGE understatement. We literally blew up a nightclub! Well when I say we…. I mean… well… Ren and I weren't actually there, we were downtown together…. Not 'together' together, if that's what you're thinking. …And we wouldn't have even been there if the White Fang hadn't…'
Nora's voice was suddenly cut off as multiple hands covered her mouth, silencing the rambling, that was most almost certainly about to get them into deeper trouble. Glinda sighed impatiently and grasped her crop tightly in frustration. Ruby, who was sat directly in front of the headmaster's oak desk, gulped and slowly withdrew her hands. She was only too familiar with Glinda's anger, having come way too close to feeling the sting of the woman's crop, and nearly losing her fingers, on her first meeting with the huntress all that time ago.
Ozpin sighed, finally placed his now empty cup down and firmly pressed the tips of his fingers together in front of his face.
'Maybe it would be best, Miss Valkyrie, if one of you starts from the very beginning'
Neko, who the group had presumed had long ago zoned out of the situation at hand, straightened from his slumped position against the far wall and slowly pulled down his headphones, resting them around his neck.
'How much time do you have Professor?'
