Hello everybody! *hit by a tomato* Well ouch! My apologies for the latest update ever. A few of you know where Ive been, and I'm pretty sure most of you just don't care. Though I want to apologize again for worrying all of you. I have no school today so I can update this without worry. We last left off where Bellykid had spotted Rookie on the deserted island that they're stuck on.. I'll start this story from Rookie's point of view and Ill get you off of this cliff! *pulls down* Hello Mr. Cliff!
Cuddles140: Honestly there are a lot of things I can't do, but I wouldn't worry.
Guest: Thank you!
Goody50: I see you everyday.
Guest: Wow, you did type a lot, but no worries.
DriftedDaisy: Well alright, that's great.
Zanerexn41: ...?
Brittney9100: I'll handle that.
Lolumroller: Wait, what?
Midnight: Oops, sorry.
Ari: Thank you.
Rookie had his head in his flippers and was still crying over his flashback. He's been on the island for a few hours at most (even if it took me 3 months to edit this). Then he lifted up his head and forced himself to stop crying.. "N-no, I've been crying for too long!" he got to his feet and dried the rest of his tears. He decided that he wasn't just going to just here and cry. That wouldn't do anything to help him. "What would an EPF agent do?" he said to himself, forgetting the fact that he was an EPF agent himself. He began waddling In a random direction. Even if it wouldn't take him anywhere, he at least had to do something.
(Back with me for a bit)
Bellykid squinted her eyes and tried to see if her eyes were deceiving her again. Luckily, they were not. She really did see Rookie. "I knew it! That's Rookie!" she said to herself as she waddled faster to him, calling out his name every so often. "Rookie! Rookie!" she said trying to catch up to him.
The little green penguin stopped after hearing his name being called. "Was that my stomach?" he asked himself. After not receiving an answer, he shrugged it off and kept waddling forward.
"Why won't he stop?" Bellykid asked herself as she waddled faster to keep up with him. "Rookie, it's me!" she called again.
Rookie stopped and looked around, he trembled. "Oh no! The ghost has come back!" Rookie said hugging his knees and crying. (*sigh*) That's when Bellykid finally caught up to him and approached him carefully..
'Is he still afraid of that ghost?' she thought to herself. 'I guess I'll scare Gary instead.' she thought as she shook Rookie lightly. "Rookie, it's alright, it's me."
The frightened little penguin screamed. "NO! I don't taste good I promise!" he shouted without lifting his head.
She sighed and shook her head. "No Rookie, the ghost isn't even out here, even if it was, I'm pretty sure it would never eat a penguin." she faceflippered at the stupidity of her own comment. 'That came out wrong.' she thought. Though despite her worries, Rookie lifted his head.
His eyes widened when he saw who it was. "Commander! You're alive!" he said jumping up to hug her. (Let go of me!)
She sighed heavily and tapped the green penguin. "Rookie, I think you're forgetting something." she said.
"What is it?" he asked still hugging her.
She rolled her eyes and glared at the sky for a bit. She had done a good job at not flipping moods, though Rookie's stupidity wasn't helping her sanity. "Let go of me. NOW." she said somewhat calmly but enough to scare Rookie.
Rookie then remembered that she didn't like hugs. "Oh! Sorry!" he said letting go of her. She gave him a quick glare but shook it off before she scared Rookie too badly.
"No worries, are you alright? Are you hurt in any way?" she asked noticing his tears.
He shook his head and smiled the bright little smile that he always had. "Nope, I'm okay now that you're here!"
Agent B blushed a bit at that statement. "Well thanks, but we need to find the others. Do you have any idea where they could be?"
Rookie thought for a while, then his face lit up. "I know! They're on this island!" Rookie smiled as if he just said something super intelligent.
Agent B had to calm herself for a bit before she nearly attacked him. "I know that, I meant do you have any idea where on this island they may be?" she asked again. Rookie shook his head and she sighed. "Then I guess we have some waddling to do."
Rookie couldn't agree more. "Yeah! Let's go find everyone! EPF agents for the win!" he shouted happily as he began waddling forward.
'This is going to be a long day.' she thought to herself before following him. It was quiet while the 2 agents waddled the rocky shores of the deserted island. So Rookie attempted to break the ice. (Or in this case, the sand.)
"So, where did you wash up?" Rookie asked her.
"Where did I wash up?" Agent B repeated
Rookie nodded.
"Well, I washed up not far from you I guess. I fell asleep on a plank of wood and next thing you know I stumbled upon you." she recalled.
"I was pushed here by a wave!" he said with odd happiness.
"Oh my! Are you alright?" she asked figuring he must've been in some sort of pain.
His expression remained unchanged. "I'm okay! But I was more worried about everyone else than myself."
'Now that's what I call a true agent.' she thought for a bit until she was interrupted by Rookie again.
"Did you dream?" he asked
"What?" Bellykid didn't quite understand the question.
"You said you fell asleep on a plank of wood, did you dream?" he repeated.
She froze a bit. Agent B didn't feel very comfortable discussing her past with an agent that panics over everything. "N-no.." she said looking away slightly.
Rookie noticed this and asked, "Are you sure?"
That caused her to snap at him a bit. "I said no already! Do you need me to draw you a picture?!" (I didn't know I could be this mean...)
Rookie shrunk inside a bit, feeling a little hurt, but he instantly shrugged it off. "Well, I had a dream..." he said sort of sadly.
"Oh really?" she replied with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"Y-yes, i-it was about my past." he paused a bit.
Bellykid paused a bit. At that moment she felt bad for Rookie and felt bad for snapping at him. She put a comforting flipper on shoulder. "I'm sorry."
He shrugged it off and smiled again. "It's okay, like I always say, it's better to just keep smiling and move forward!"
She gave a bit of a smile in response. "Well good, now let's go find the others."
The agents didn't waddle very far before they heard a sound. It shouted like one of their friends crying for help. It was Jet Pack Guy.
The cliff is back! Aren't you all enjoying the view! *dodges flying scone* I guess not, but I promise not to leave you up there for too long. Anyways, Jet Pack Guy is in trouble somehow! I wonder what mess he got himself into.
