chapter 4
Classes Begin
A thin, short, pale skinned girl with brown eyes walked into Professor Jennifer's class room. She sat down at a desk in the very back of the classroom. The girl had straight black hair that was pulled back into a loses ponytail that reached just above the middle of her back. She was wearing a black denim jacket with long sleeves, it wasn't zipped up so you could see her black T-shirt that had two chibi characters from Black Butler on it. She was also wearing dark blue full length Denim jeans with fading patches on her knees, Charcoal Converse All-stars with Black Skull laces. While waiting for other students to arrive she took out a notebook and pencil. She was in the middle of drawing when the bell rings and the teacher walked in.
"alright class my name is Miss Jennifer and I am your Charm professor." She said after setting a box and a few books down on her desk. "I know where all new to the school and we still don't really know one another so first we will do some introductions and then I will give you a explanation as to what charms are."
"So starting with you we will go around the room and introduce ourselves." Miss. Jenifer says pointing to a student at the front of the class.
"Hi my name is Emma." a girl in the front row says. she had short blond hair that was cut in a pixie style, dark green eyes, dark tan skin, and was short and skinny. she was dressed in black caprices, a off the shoulder long sleeve shirt that was a hunter green color and showed her stomach, and black and silver tennis shoes. She looked like a nice person except for the mischievous look in her eyes and the secretive smile on her lips.
"Hello my name is Andy." a boy who was sitting behind Emma says. He had short, somewhat spiky black hair, dark eyes, and pale skin. He was wearing a light blue, a lilac short sleeved shirt that was opened over a dark red and dark blue striped long sleeved shirt, with dark jeans, and reddish purple high tops. He had a guitar that was laying down near his desk.
"Hi i'm Aurora." Aurora says she was sitting beside Andy. She waved and smiled shyly at everyone.
"Hi i'm Shara." Shara says she was sitting by Aurora.
"Hello Everyone. My name is Tony." A guy who was sitting a few seats behind Aurora says. He had black hair that is braided into corn rows that ended just below his neck, his eyes where brown with gold flecks, he was tall and muscular, and had dark chocolate colored skin. he was dressed in a tight fitting dark red top, a white zip up jacket, black jeans that where faded at the knees, and black shoes.
"I'm Kyra." The girl who was drawing earlier says. she was now sitting in her seat with her arms crossed and a cold look in her eyes.
"Well now that we know one another why don't we get to work." Professor Jennifer says. "So to start out i am going to hand out some key-chains." picking up the box she brought in with her she went around the class room letting everyone pick one out. After passing them out she returns to her desk. "The key-chains i handed out are a good example of 'Charms'. these key-chains are a regular everyday item that pretty much everyone in the world can have. they have just been enchanted. i did a simple enchantment on these that should easily help out everyone especially with a new school year beginning. It is a homework reminder charm. if you touch it it will remind you that you have homework to do. Now a plus side to this is that it wont remind you if you already have your work done or if you have a project and it's not due for a week it wont remind you till the night before it is due. Yes Emma?" Professor Jennifer asks after seeing Emma raising her hand.
"So basically this will work like a remembrall from Harry Potter?" Emma asks. Her question revived a few giggles from her fellow classmates.
"Yes it will just slightly different." Professor Jennifer says.
(A/N: they might of been locked away for 16 years but they have had time to catch up on human favorites like harry potter and twilight i own neither)
Kyra raises her hand in the air and waits on the professor to call on her.
"Yes Kyra." Professor Jennifer says.
"So this is an example of what we will be learning in this class through the semester?" Kyra asks holding up her key-chain which was a cute little shooting star metal key-chain.
"Yes it is but by the time the semester is over not only will you be able to make ones lie this but you will also know how to make more complex ones and how to undo a charm no mater how strong it is."
'Ring...'
"Alright class is over. but before you go. this is not a homework assignment but in your free time why not try and come up with a few ideas of a charm you would like to try and make?" Professor Jennifer says as her class gathers there things and goes to the next class.
Time skip to lunch-
"Hey Blake you coming to lunch?" a guy asks as he walks into his dorm room. the guy had black hair that covered his left eye, average length in the back, and layered, the eye you could see was dark blue, he was thin and tall, and his skin was neither pale nor tan. He was wearing a purple short-sleeved button-up shirt, worn with nice black jeans and a pair of black dress shoes. A silver pocket watch in his pocket, with the chain hooked to a belt loop so he doesn't loose it.
"Um... yeah you go ahead i'll meet up with you Alexander." Blake said to Alexander. his hair was long, black and covered his right eye, his visible eye was green, he was also tall and thin, and had pale skin. he was dressed in pale blue jeans, a white and blue striped polo shirt, and some white sneakers.
"Alright." Alexander says and leaves for the cafeteria. Normally it took him a while to become open to people but being room mates with Blake helped Alexander open up to him faster than normal. Not to mention the shy and nice personality that Blake had also helped matters some. by no means where they best buds it;s just that Alexander didn't mind his company.
Alexander was able to get threw the lunch line quick and head to a small unoccupied table in the back so he could easily keep an eye on his surroundings. he enjoyed people watching and liked to get a good reading on someone before he tried to approach them. looking around the room he saw most of the people where in groups of two some in groups of four. But he could tell that everyone was like this cause they where still warming up to one another.
'By the end of the first month everyone will be in their own little group of friends and will probably even have group names like the Winx and Trix.'
a group of girls was sitting close enough for him to hear the conversation.
"So has my sister boarded you to death yet?" Mara asks her sisters room mate.
"No she hasn't. She's not that boring and besides I always make things interesting. Don't I Erin?" A girl with bright ice blue eyes and bleach blonde short curly hair asks. she was tall and skinny and had lightly tanned skin. She was wearing a pale gray tee shirt, with a lace style back, with darker gray spots, and a faded red heart outline. A pair of black boot cut jeans, with a kind of silvery thread through them, and tears through the front, and a piar of old but still nice looking black knee boots.
"I tried to read but Alithea made me play board games and watch movies after we moved in." Erin says with a sigh. "I really wanted to finish that book before school started."
"Sorry but i was excited and wanted to have some fun." Alithea said with a huge grin on her face.
"You wanted to read? Dang that's boring I've been trying to plan out some pranks to play on people when they get on my bad side." Emma says and snickers to herself pondering over the many ideas she came up with.
"Don't worry Alithea she will break eventually just don't be to pushy with her cause she sometimes does get a temper. And Emma don't damage anyone's hair in your pranks cause they might take out there anger on me as well since we share a dorm room." Mara says
"Yeah yeah. Whatever." Emma says absentmindedly still going over pranks in her head.
Alexander couldn't help but smile to himself. Feeling the friendly atmosphere surrounding the four. And with the look on Emma's face made him look forward to seeing a few of her pranks and also fear getting on her bad side.
"Hi Alexander..." Blake says walking up to him and sliding into a seat at the table he was sitting at.
"So you made it. What took you so long?" Alexander asks trying for some friendly conversation.
"I was playing around with my new sword that i got. trying to get more use to the wait of if." Blake says.
"You had sword training last period didn't you?" Alexander asks.
"Yeah. do you have it this semester?" Blake answered.
"Yeah it's the last class of the day for me." Alexander said.
"You'll probably like it then. do you know what type of weapon you want?" Blake asks.
"Not really i'll look and see what they got first." Alexander says just before the bell rings.
Time skip to last period-
"Alright line up." a tall guy says. he was wearing a white and blue uniform with a purple clasp. his head was bald except for a purple ponytail that was at the top of his head and six small monk like dots on his forehead. "I am Professor Bishop. i graduated from Red Fountain a couple of years ago. I am going to teach you how to fight. Now starting with you tell me your name."
"I'm Alexander." Alexander says.
"I'm David." David says. he had strawberry blond buzz cut hair, pale green eyes, he was tall and lanky with a little bit of muscle, and tan skin. he was wearing dark blue jeans, a sea foam green shirt with white starts decorating it and black tennis shoes.
"I'm Andy." Andy says.
"I'm Shinn." Shinn says. he has short black hair that is angled sharply towards his right eye, his eyes are a red color, average height and build, and pale skin. he was wearing a black jacket over a white shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
"Alright. when you come to this class you will be dressed in a uniform similar to this. this is my Red Fountain uniform the ones you have are similar only instead of white and blue yours are white and dark green. i have a uniform for each of you when i call your name i will also tell you a color please grab the uniform with the responding gem clasp like mine." Professor Bishop says and points to the purple clasp on his uniform. "Andy, Lilac. Shinn, Red. Alexander, Dark Purple. David, Sea Foam Green."
The four boys grabbed their uniforms from a table that was in the front of the room and got back in line.
"Now today i won't make you change but starting tomorrow you will. And if you want you can wear them all day long, Now lets get everyone a weapon. Follow me." heading threw some double doors to the side of the classroom the group enters a hallway.
"This is the room with all the weapons take a look around and chose one you like. They are Phantom blades and weapons when you pick them up they will look like a hilt or something like this." Professor Bishop says and takes out his weapons that looked like hilts in each of his hands then presses a button and two curved purple daggers form. "The other door leads to a locker room that you can change clothes in. now pick out a blade or a pair of blades and come back to the class room." The professor says and walks off.
The four boys enter the room and after messing around for a bit Andy decides on a double bladed sword that just so happened to match the clasp on his uniform. David picked out a sea foam green spear. Shinn picked out a red Claymore. And Alexander chose two dark purple twin blades that where slightly smaller compared to others.
"Alright till the bell rings do what ever you want." Professor Bishop says.
The four decide to practice sparing with one another. David found out that if he presses a second button on his spear he could cover the spear with electrical energy. They also found out that Shinn is a bit of a klutz. he could pick the Claymore up and swing it around no problem he just kept tripping over his own two feat a lot.
"Attention students. I am pleased to announce that we have been welcomed to Magix for a Tournament if you want to participate in the Tournament please speak with Lilly. the Tournament is just so students can show off their skill is fight and magic tomorrow during lunch I will have a video playing to give everyone an idea of what it will be like. And even if no one signs up the school will be going on a field trip there just for fun. And Remember practice makes perfect!" The principle says over the intercom and then the bell rings signaling the end of class.
