Onyx Gem: Hi guys so I know it has been years since an update and I don't blame you for hating me and ignoring me but I have my reasons for not being online in a long time. 2014 was a very depressing year for me. About once a month I heard about a death in someone's family, my parents co workers friends and at the end of the year I lost my grand father to cancer and an aunt to a heart attack. So yeah that year was awful. 2015 was a lot better as far as death goes but the first half passed in a haze for me and the second half came and went before I knew it. Again I am sorry. But the story will now continue the SYOC is still open. Characters will only be accepted through pm the forms are on my profile along with a list of students and teachers. And for the subject of the pm if you could put SYOC f/w/s (depending on what you submit) and the characters first name I would appreciate it. Ex- "SYOC f Roxy". And send each character you want to submit in a new pm each time. It will help me find characters easier.

chapter 5

Practice makes perfect

" ugh..." A dark brown skined girl says as she wakes herself up on a Saturday morning. Her brown eyes open just to glare at the ceiling. "Why!?" She asks in a irritated tone and grips her dark brown hair and starts to pull on it. She is dressed in a white tank top and black shorts with white polka dots. It was early Saturday morning and she did not sleep well last night. She gets up out of bed and starts to get ready for the day ahead. By the time she is done in the shower and wearing fresh clean clothes who room mate was up and moving around.

"Good morning Camilia." The dark brown girl says and takes a seat on the couch beside her room mate who is eating a bowl of cereal. She is now wearing a white shirt with 3/4 sleeves, some Jean capri pants, and a pair of ballet flats with silver sequins.

"Good morning Adriana." Camilia says getting her room mate before taking another bite of cereal. She has tan skin, crystal blue eyes, long black strait hair pulled back with a tan headband, and she is thin and tall. She is dressed in a yellow sundress with green straps, a Jean jacket, gold heels, gold bangles on her wrist, gold hoop earrings, and some green bracelets.

"So the tournament is this Thursday. You going to participate?" Camilia asks.

"I don't know I'm still learning my powers mybe I'll wait till next year. Or if they have another one this year I'll give it a shot." Adriana answers before asking "how about you?"

"Well that's why I asked you. I mainly want to watch but one of the competition's is team work and me and you do fairly well in magical gym so..." Camilia says but trails off.

"Will they allow groups of 2 or do they have to be bigger?" Adriana asks.

"We can try to talk to Lilly and see what she says." Camilia suggests.

"Alright we can go by her office at 1 when she opens up." Adriana states.

"So till then want to go and aggravate Cai and Hale?" Camilia suggests.

"As much as I would like to we should probably go talk to Mara and Emma. In case we need more than two people on a team we need to know if they will help us out." Adriana explains. She gets up off the couch and gets some cookies and milk from the kitchen.

"But what if we need 6 members? Then who will we ask?" Camilia asks.

"Not sure maybe Erin and Alithea? Or Roxy? Who is her room mate? Or does she have a room for herself?" Adriana asks.

"Erin and Alithea will help us out I'm sure but Roxy will probably be preforming by herself in the tournament. And I think she has her own room." Camilia answers.

The two mildly chat for a couple of hours before they head out to pester Mara and Emma. The two walked down the long corridor until they arrived at Mara and Emma dorm. A few minutes after knocking on the door Adriana takes out her phone and tries to call Mara.

"Hey Mara where are you and Emma? Me and Camilia wanted to discuss something with you two." Adriana says into the phone she waits a moment and listens to what Mara says before saying thanks and hanging up the phone.

"So where are they?" Camilia asks.

"They are in the court yard around back watching some of the guys practice." Adriana answers and the two start heading that way. It doesn't take them too long before they are outside and sitting with Mara and Emma.

"So what you girls want?" Emma asks with a bit of an evil smirk.

"We where going to try and participate in the tournament Thursday in the team work competition. We don't know how big the teams have to be so we where wondering if we need more than two people if you could team up with us?" Camilia asks after explaining.

"Sure I'm going to also be in the flying competition. I'm rather fast I just need to work on agility." Mara says.

"As long as I can still see most of the competition's I am good to go." Emma says agreeing.

"Alright thanks. And if we need more than 4 do you think that Erin and Alithea would like to join?" Adriana asks.

"Erin will maily want to watch but if you need her help I'll convince her to join at least one competition. Alithea I'm not sure about she might she might not."

"Thanks." Adriana and Camilia say together and the small group of faries and witches watch some of the specialist practice their fighting skills for the tournament on Thursday.

Onyx Gem: hey so short chap but it works for now I'm going to have one more chapter before the tournament and the tournament might take up two chaps.
