Chapter 4
The next day came early for Sarah. As her alarm went off, Sarah sat up and is startled by the sight of Kyle knocking at the door. "Sarah?" She shakes. "Sarah?" He says while knocking, "Your aunt wanted me to let you know that breakfast is ready." He smiles at her and she nods. "Thank you." Sarah jumps out of bed and gets into a quick shower. As she stands there letting the water hit her face, her thoughts jump to Jareth. "Sarah, I can give you everything, your dreams….your dreams…SARAH! The screams of her aunt startle her and she jumps out of the shower. She quickly rushes to get dressed and into the kitchen and sits down to eat. After a few minutes of awkward silence, Maria pipes up, "Sarah, I need you and Kyle to run into town for me for some supplies, I have a list already made for you." Sarah looks at Kyle and he smiles slyly. Sarah nods and says, "Ok, Aunt Maria. We can do that." After breakfast, Sarah steps outside to the back porch and looks beyond in the distance and her thoughts wander to the Labyrinth and her friends. "…..Well if you should need us….yeah, if you should need us….."Jesus Christ!" Sarah exclaimed. "What the hell, Kyle?" Sarah turns around to see Kyle laughing slightly at the fact he had scared her. "Are you ready to go?" Kyle asked. "Yes." Sarah follows Kyle to her aunt's car. They get in and start the one hour drive into the nearest town. For most of the ride, Sarah sat in the passenger seat and watched the clouds. She kept seeing Hoggle, Ludo, and everyone from the Labyrinth. Everyone including Jareth. "…. Sarah, my love, I am closer than ever before. Just keep looking for me….." Before she knew it, they had arrived to the nearest town. They pulled into the parking spot of the store. "Sarah, may I see the list?" She hands the list to Kyle and follows him into the store. As they are walking around, Sarah can't keep her mind off Jareth and how much Kyle reminds her of him. "His eyes. I have seen those eyes before." Sarah thought to herself. All of a sudden, Kyle stops and Sarah almost ran into him. "Hey! What gives?" Sarah asked. "I just saw an aisle of stuffed animals." Kyle says. "So, and?" Sarah asked bewildered. "Well, do you want to go down to see what they have?" Sarah looks at Kyle puzzled. "Why would he ask me that knowing I am an adult?" Sarah asked herself. She looks at him and says, "No, I have grown less fond of my stuffed animals and more focused on my college and career." He nods and they continuing shopping. At the checkout line, Sarah couldn't help but to stare at Kyle in front of her. The way he moved, the chiseled shape of his back and that ass. She really liked his ass. As she follows his body back up, she realizes that he is now staring at her and has realized she was staring at his ass. "Like what you see?" He asked. Sarah blushed so bright red and turned away from him. Kyle giggled and paid for the items. The ride home seemed to drag forever and Sarah couldn't stopping blushing from the store incident. After thirty minutes of driving, Kyle asks, "Sarah, may I ask a question?" Sarah stares at him, scared of what that might be, afraid it may be about what happened at the store. "Sure." "Do you have a boyfriend or have you ever had a boyfriend?" She raised her eyebrow. "No, I actually have not. I wasn't very popular in high school and my step-mother, Karen, didn't think a child should have a boyfriend. I hated her and still do." She giggled. Sarah continues to say, "Have you ever had a girlfriend?" Kyle replies, "No, with my family's company keeping me busy, it was hard to date. I did find one girl, though. She was beautiful. She had long brown hair, hazel eyes, and had a wonderful imagination. But before I could profess my actual true intentional love to her, she disappeared and I haven't been able to find her since." "Well, maybe one day you will find each other again." Sarah says as she smiled. As they pull up, Sarah's aunt was waiting for them. They carried the supplies to the barn and begin their day's work. 5pm came fast for Sarah. After washing up and eating dinner, Sarah goes out to the barn and starts to check everything out. As she is looking around, she notices that there was a loft that she had never noticed before. She climbed the ladder and saw that the loft had been converted into a bedroom. "Hmmm, this seems quiet." She thought to herself. She lays on the bed and stares at the ceiling. Several hours pass by and Sarah suddenly is awaken by the sound of Kyle's voice calling out to her. "Sarah? Sarah?" "I am up here, Kyle." She calls down to him. He climbs the ladder and sits down on the bed beside her. "What are you doing out here?" Kyle asked. "Oh nothing, just thinking." She says. Kyle asked, "Oh? Anything in particular?" "Not really." She giggles. "Well, I guess we should be heading back." Kyle suddenly grabs her and pulls her close to him. She gasps as he leans closer to her and begin to softly kiss her. The embrace of his lips on hers made the softness of her quiver with wetness. He lets go with his embrace. She stands there, shaking. "Wow where did that come from?" She asked. "I think you are beautiful, Sarah. I felt that it was the right time to show you who I truly am." As he steps away from her, he begins to transform and there stands the Goblin King, Jareth. Sarah gasps. "….Jareth?..." She suddenly feels weak at the knees and she faints. Jareth quickly jumps to catch her and lays her softly on the bed. "Well, that went well." Jareth says smiling.
