Bored and unsupervised. Two words to never be associated with Dante. Loki and Barton hadn't bothered to come back for a second visit and for that she was thankful. However, that left her alone for almost a day and she was bored. Dante had already explored her room and adjoining bathroom, taken a shower and changed into a pair of black cargo pants and a green tank top, she even had time to mediate and connect with the Tesseract on the level below her. Connecting with the Tesseract posed another problem for her, now she was practically overflowing with energy, which made her giddy and eager to run around like a child.

"Are you still out there?" Dante hollered.

The guard from earlier opened her door, "Is something wrong Lady Dante?"

"I am bored shitless. This level of boredom should be considered a cruel and unusual punishment! Can I please leave my room?!" Dante begged as she moved closer to the door and the guard.

He shook his head, "I'm sorry but I have strict orders to not let you leave this room."

"Then it's too bad that you don't have a choice in the matter." Dante grabbed his throat and drained his energy, knocking him unconscious. Then placed him on her couch and skipped out of her room. "Alright "Operation: Get the Fuck out of that Room" is a success!"

Loki opened his eyes when he noticed that one of his guard's consciousness disappeared from his control. "It seems Dante has managed to escape her room. Barton, please find my wayward guest and bring her to me."

"No need, sir." Barton pointed across the room. Dante had just entered the lab area and was making her way to the Tesseract. "Should I stop her?"

Loki shook his head as he watched as she poked the cube curiously, he could feel the cube and Dante sharing energy as if they were talking. He also took notice of her downright playful countenance. "Dante, if you keep playing with the cube Dr. Selvig won't be able to finish his work."

"But I'm bored and she's fun to play with!" Dante pouted but Loki continued to glare at her. "Sorry Tessie, I'll come by later to play." She walked over to where Loki sat on the ground. "Are you going to entertain me Odinson?"

"Do I look like a court jester to you?"

"I don't think you want me to answer that honestly."

"Where is your guard?"

"Taking a well-deserved nap after having to put up with your crazy shit." She plopped down next to him. "I'm bored, isn't there anything to do in this place?"

"You could stay in your chambers like a good little captive." Dante gave him her best "are you fucking kidding me, do I look like a good captive" look. Loki sighed, "You are the most impossible woman I have ever had the displeasure of meeting."

"Thank you!" She crossed her legs, "But that doesn't help my boredom issue here. When will Dr. Selvig be done with Tessie?"

"I'm afraid you won't be able to play with Tessie for a few days, not until my plans are completed. Perhaps Agent Barton could provide you with some form of entertainment." Loki suggested.

Dante laughed as she saw Barton's face pale behind Loki, "Unfortunately Agent Barton doesn't like my version of fun. Last time he ended up with a few broken bones. How about you keep me entertained? Aesir are studier than humans."

"I thought you wanted nothing to do with a son of Odin?" Loki bit out, "Or have you become fickle like the other women of Midgard?"

"I said I would not ally myself with a son of Odin, that doesn't mean we can't be friends. Maybe we started off on the wrong foot?" She held her hand out, "Hello I'm Dante "Titania" Bellerose."

Loki took her hand, "Loki of Asgard."

Dante cocked her head curiously, "Why do you not state that you are Odinson? Not saying what you are will not change my mind."

Loki stared at her for a few conflicted moments before elaborating, "I...am not truly Odinson I am adopted." He dropped his guise as an Aesir, his skin became cobalt blue in color, his eyes red, and his clan markings became visable. "I am Laufteyson." Loki watched in morbid fascination as Dante carefully examined him. Her face was a carefully placed mask of indifference and that was driving him mad. Where was the disgust? The fear? "Are you done with your examination?"

Dante scooted back and flashed him a toothy grin, "Blue is a good color for you, though I am partial to your green eyes." She winked.

"You're not repulsed by my Jotun form?"

"Why would I be? You look pretty much the same just really blue." She examined his facial expression for a moment. "I see. You were raised to believe they were evil creatures weren't you?"

"Yes…"

Dante outright laughed, "You and I are so similar it's scary! My ability to manipulate energy made me a monstrosity among my people."

"You're powers made you a monster but you don't share the appearance of one!" Loki snarled.

"You saw a hint of my true form on the helicarrier. My true body, while humanoid in shape, is naught but pure energy. And before you ask, no I cannot assume that form right now. If I did I would automatically absorb the power from any energy source in my range. Meaning you and Tessie would be sucked dry and not in a good way." She laughed, "What a relief this is!"

"Why?" Loki asked dumbfounded by her sudden change in attitude.

"Because I find you entertaining to be around, this is the most fun I've had in centuries! Save for you killing my friend….but we will deal with that transgression another time. Loki Laufteyson I would be honored if you'd let me fight by your side." She pulled a knife out of her pocket and nicked her palm, "Will you accept my bid for alliance, my King?"

Loki took the knife from her and did the same to his palm then clasped their hands together, "May victory come swiftly and the battles be glorious my Queen."

Dante smiled and shook her head, "I agreed to be your ally Loki not your Queen."

"Then I will just have to try harder."
