Reimu wasn't sure she heard correctly, but no matter how many times she asked, it was always the same answer. In front of her was an abused child that can manipulate boundaries and did so to escape a mob from killing her.
This was something that she did not know what to do, as a the shrine maiden for the Hakurei Shrine, Reimu often praised herself for knowing what to do in any situation; most of the time it was going to the source of the problem and stopping it there. Though in this case, it did not seem that it would be easy to solve.
Clearing her thoughts she went to business first she asked Yukari to bring her in the shrine so she could pinpoint the problem at hand which was the state of health the young girl was in. With both Yukari and the young girl inside her room Reimu went about trying the best she could to heal the child though it seemed that whatever was sealed in her rejected her influence on trying to boost up the healing process.
So with that done she was out of her element she could not inspect the child to see what kind of spirit was sealed in her with her being in the state she was in. With how she was a wrong move in drawing out the spirit could and probably would kill her. So what she needed was a healer not just any one the best in gensokyo the only person known to have made the Hourai elixir Eirin.
"Yukari I am afraid that I cannot do anything about the spirit with her injured like this and it seems that the spirit is rejecting my presence when I am trying to heal her." Reimu then went on to explain that while the injuries did not look that bad and was not by itself there was previous injuries that was the problem.
Ones that was badly healed and looked like it was done on purpose to hurt the girl later on more than likely it was the entire village or a large majority of it that hated her. Yukari was a person who prided herself in being able to hold a mask one that never showed emotion besides the ones she projected but the news that Reimu told her shattered it like no tomorrow. Here was a little girl with a spirit of some sort sealed into her at birth from what she understood and was hated because of it.
Also despite all that the only person or item that might be able to heal her was the Hourai elixir or at least the only person capable of making it. Though she tolerated the presence of the lunarians and their princess she was not one to be on true friendly terms with them. Though in this case she would swallow her pride and ask Reimu if she would go get Eirin to try and heal her.
"Reimu, why don't you go to see if you can't borrow Eirin from the princess while I look after the girl I would go myself but I don't really want to leave her side right now. Plus with her in an unconscious state her abilities over the boundaries might act up since she just awoken them and something can go haywire."
With this said Reimu may not have wanted to leave the girl in her state but she understood that time was of the essence with that thought in mind she quickly went off. She could be in two places the human village and or with Kaguya in the bamboo forest of the lost. Quickly deciding her course of action Reimu left for the forest not wasting a single second at the fairies or the annoying tengu reporter trying to grab her attention.
Konohagakure
Upon seeing that Naru has somehow 'gapped' the Anbu quickly performed a quick shunshin to the hokage to report on what has happened. This was going to be a long night was all he thought before he marched up to the hokage's office to report what would possibly make end of his career in anbu for not acting sooner.
When he heard that Naru disappeared, Hiruzen the third hokage was furious his granddaughter was missing all because some Andu decided to wait to stop the mob that was chasing her. With no choice in mind he sent out all available anbu possible to search for her in the village in particular had people look at the area where she disappeared.
Though looking at the area they could see no signs of any earth style jutsu's that showed someone used one to kidnap her. In fact they couldn't sense any chakra there at all it was like a dead zone. With that done they looked the outside the village and still couldn't find any trace of her. Sighing at the results of the search Hiruzen leaned back in the chair he was sitting in and let out a puff of smoke from his pipe.
Without over extending his forces he could not continue the search. Resigning to the fate he was now faced with he called back the anbu maybe with any luck they could find her on the way back from a mission or they could put out info about her and see if anyone contacts about that. Though with all that said and done he had to resign to the fact that she may be gone forever and that he might not see her again. So with those thoughts in mind he went back the large stack of paperwork that has piled up.
Gensokyo
Reimu was officially annoyed first the dang perverted tengu reporter was following her and now she could not find a trace of Eirin. She first stopped in the human village and there was no one who saw her in the village selling her medicine like normal.
Then she had to find her way to dang bamboo forest and still couldn't find her. Well if there was one person who would know it was Mokou or Tewi. Now the part that was next was trying to locate one of those two to act like a guide. Though that was easier said than done and she did not want to keep Yukari waiting since for one Yukari seemed mad as is and she did not want that anger turning towards her who knows what she will do with the shrine. As soon as she finished those thoughts though it seems that they found her first it seems.
"So what are you doing here Remiu?" With those words said she turned around to see Mokou with her red eyes and ankle-length ivory hair. Wearing a light brown that appears as if it had been discolored from fire, and dark red overalls that are randomly decorated with paper charms. Her hair was tied with the same red and white paper charms.
Quickly explaining the situation with the young girl and Yukari Mokou agreed to guide her to the eintei. Once there she quickly went up to the building and knocked hopefully they would answer soon or at least know where Eirin is if she wasn't there. Reimu couldn't help be reminded of the Imperishable Night incident where they hid the moon so Kaguya couldn't be found, it was the one time she teamed up with Yukari for an incident.
She remembered flying through the halls that never seemed to end till she eventually fought and defeated Kaguya and later Mokou though that one was a real hard battle. She was shaken out of her thoughts as the door opened revealing the moon rabbit Reisen she was in her usual attire of the blazer with the white shirt and skirt.
Reimu to avoid any other hassles quickly asked where Eirin was. With that said and done she was quickly guided to Kaguya where she "pleads her case" as Reisen put it. When she arrived she saw Kaguya with her dark brown eyes, and very long black hair. She wore a pink shirt with many white bows, and a long, dark burgundy skirt decorated in yellow with bamboo and flower shapes.
"So, Reimu? Why is it that you went to the eintei yourself for?"
"Kaguya, Yukari is asking for Eirin's help with healing a young child that may possible have the same abilities as her own."
With that said Kaguya looked surprised to say the least and while she heard from Tewi who was spying around the forest about it all she knew was that a young girl was sick not that she had the same powers and Yukari. This was a good chance to possible get on the good side of Yukari after all Yukari did send an army of Youkai to the moon to possibly teach them a lesson.
So she decided to allow this favor in fact she will go with Eirin to meet this child she could always use a good outing instead of being locked up with her games and comics after all. With that done she agreed to "convince" Eirin to heal this person.
With a quick word to Reisen she quickly sent her to get Eirin from her lab so they could go as fast as they can. With a few minutes Eirin arrived she had dark grey eyes, with long white hair with a large braid on her back. Her clothing is red and blue, and is covered with constellation patterns. She also wears something similar to a nurse's cap. Seeing that she was her Reimu quickly explained the situation and said that Kaguya has said it was ok that was until said person interrupted to say that she will follow as well.
With that said and done they quickly left so as to not waste any more time than what was needed. Flying to the Hakurei shrine was a lot easier than trying to find Eirin Reimu noticed. Quickly arriving to the shrine she escorted them to where Yukari was there sitting there next to the girl who seemed to have gotten a fever while they were gone.
Though, before she closed the door she failed to notice the tengu reporter that was slowly creeping up the corner to the room. With the door closed Yukari quickly looked and saw both Eirin and Kaguya there with a quick flash of annoyance she allowed them to see the girl. Eirin seeing her patient quickly went to work going over her vitals and anything else that might have been wrong. With that done she asked them to give her some room so she could work at with that done she went looking at the young girl's body and making notes of injuries that did not heal properly due to lack of treatment but those were really recent.
This was bad the young girl was clearly dying and the stress from opening her own gap and not to mention the wounds that was falsely healed. It was a good thing she arrived when she did otherwise the only other way to heal her would have been the hourai elixir though she was unsure of that.
With quick thinking and extreme precision she started what would probably be the longest operation she would ever have. It seemed to take nearly forever to fix the previous damage done to her and it was also very delicate since a mistake can end up killing her.
It wasn't till near nightfall when she was finally done fixing the main problems to the child's health. With that part done it would be an easy time fixing the rest a elixir or two plus one major one with that one being taken for the course of two years and the child should be in better health than people thought was normally possible.
With that done with and telling Reimu and Yukari that she needs to visit her over the course of two years with the visits being once every 3 months and she should be good. Hearing this news Yukari was pleased a child's life was saved one that held the same powers as her own though she did make a mental note to get back at the mob who attacked her.
Reimu on the other was glad the child was safe it was really worrying that someone would do so much to one single child. Kaguya on the other was interested in this child to go through so much yet not die takes a lot of strength she couldn't wait to see where this girl will go. Sighing as she got up Eirin started to smooth out her clothes she did what she could the rest was up to the girl.
With that done Yukari quickly left needing to do something of importance was all Reimu was able to understand. Though with a quick confirmation from Eirin, that the girl will probably be sleeping for a while she headed out to escort her and Kaguya to the door and once again letting out a certain creeping tengu.
With that done before she could do anything Marisa flew on by and barged into the shrine while saying she will be staying here for a few days while her house is aerated since it was full of fumes from her experiment with some kind of mushrooms. Sighing at the response Reimu allowed her to stay for a few days on the condition of her being quiet since she had a girl that was resting and was new to gensokyo.
With hearing that Marisa was interested a young girl that Yukari was interested in she needed to know so quickly getting the details out of Reimu she understood what was being said. After all something like that happened with her before Mima started to teach her.
Also with that said Marisa knew that this girl could be a good person to teach her magic to heck she might be able to get Alice and Patchouli to help her if she bugged them enough. With those thoughts in mind Marisa set out on her path though first she would need to find and experiment with a hakkero reactor for the girl could use. Reimu sighed in exasperation first the whole deal with Yukari and know Marsia wanted to teach what else could happen.
-With Yukari-
Yukari was excited for the first time in a while. She had a chance at a family maybe she should adopt the child since they were basically family heck they had the same abilities. Quickly with those thoughts in mind she set out to inform her shikigami Ran to clear a room for a child that would be staying with them for an undisclosed amount of time.
Ran was in a rush first Yukari-Sama disappeared without telling anyone now she has to clean out a room for a young child that will be staying. Sighing she went to work cleaning out a room and preparing all the things needed from clothes that Yukari has estimated should fit her to preparing a futon and other items that the child might need.
Though before she could ask what was so special about the child Yukari had already left leaving a note that she went to visit Yuyuko. With the first part done Yukari quickly gapped to Yuyuko to ask for a favor or two first she needed to ask Yuyuko to help her train the girl with Youmu's help if she didn't mind.
The second one was to see if Yuyuko knew of anything that she might need plus as the princess of the dead she might be able to locate the child's parents or at least if they are ghosts or if the Yama judged them already. She honestly prayed they have not been judged yet since it would be a real damper on her plans since she was going to see about why the parents sealed such a demon into their own child.
-With Reimu-
Reimu after getting things set up prepared to extract and purify the demonic taint and spirit that was residing in the girl after all it was the original favor and now that the child was no longer in danger she should be able to do it easily. Though while preparing she couldn't help but think that maybe teaching the girl a bit of purifying seals and abilities would be helpful later on.
Though with that thought she would do so later if at all since she does not know how Yukari would take to it plus if she would be able to learn at all. Though with those thoughts done the child quickly awoken was looking around the room with in fright it seemed.
Naru was scared first she teleported somewhere with that strange gap and know she is in some foreign room with what looks like some kind of miko preparing a ritual. With that said though she quickly asked the first question that popped into her head which was "where am I and who are you?" My name is Reimu Hakurei the miko for this here shrine you see you were brought her by a friend who found you and brought you here for healing.
Naru was stunned at that part someone actually cared for her?! This was completely against normal standards that she grew up used to in her short lifespan most of the time they were all about killing the demon and making sure she suffered as much as possible till the masked people came and stopped them.
"There seems to be some sort of demonic entity residing in your body and it is my job as the shrine maiden of Hakurei Shine to try and help you as much as I can." Was what Reimu stated. With that said Naru started feeling really sleepy and eventually once again fell asleep.
Reimu sighed and once again started getting to work it would do no good to push it off. It seems there was a high level spirit of some kind sealed in the child's stomach with that said trying to exorcise it if possible should take priority. It was a complex procedure she learned to do these things when she was still flying around on genji's back when she first met Marisa.
Though with those thoughts in mind she slowly went about her business the set up was complete now to just slowly extract the spirit that resided in her. It was a long process but eventually she succeeded in it the spirit which turned out to be some kind of nine tailed fox was gone and with that the whisker marks she had on her face should with time fade away.
It was something of a miracle that she survived this long Reimu thought if the years of abuse that Eirin said she faced was anything to go by and hopefully things would start looking better for her. I welcome you to the eastern wonderland gensokyo Reimu whispered before she left the room and closed the door.

Well here is the second chapter I am sorry that it took awhile to upload but school got in the way also it is my first story as I said before so please bare with me. Beyond that we have a bit of a character introduction in the form of a few people that I have planned to play a big role also I have not played touhou in awhile so I might get some things wrong. Beyond that I still need ideas on pairing and perhaps a team since I want to try and avoid using the standard team 7 if possible. Please review and comment on anything that you have questions about I read and appreciate all reviews though try not to flame please. Next chapter will be out soon hopefully if school is willing.
