Logan's P.O.V.
Obviously there was going to be tension. Between the four of us, only three were on good speaking terms. So with one person not talking, this could get messy. Thank God for hard liquor.
I watched in complete amazement as Kendall slid around his kitchen chopping, slicing, stirring and tasting. He made it look so easy, but I knew if I got in there with him, the kitchen would catch on fire. Besides, my knee was hurting, and my seat on the edge of the table was more than comfortable. I slowly swung my unhurt leg and grabbed my phone next to my leg and raised it, to look at the new text. It was Carlos, saying they were going to finish getting ready, make a quick stop and they would be here. I quickly entered a short reply and set my phone back down, looking back into the kitchen. Kendall was standing in front of the sink washing out a big silver bowl he just used and I sighed out loudly, getting his attention. He turned to me, smile on his face and nodded back towards the hallway behind me. "Go back to bed. You look sleepy."
"I wanna cuddle before Carlos and Shrek come over." He snorted shaking his head and looked back down into the silver bowl. "Are you almost done?"
"Didn't you want breakfast?"
"Not as much as I want to lay my naked body on yours." He set the bowl down in the sink and turned off the water grabbing a dish towel. I slid myself off the table and grabbed my crutches turning. I kept my head raised and looked out onto the patio leading out from Kendall's living room. It was white out, with more snow now falling. "It's snowing again." I slowly walked myself towards the bedroom Kendall and I have been in for basically the past two days and heard him following after. My butt was gently slapped on each cheek, all the way to the bedroom. I loved Kendall's room. It was huge and inviting. And he had a gorgeous set of French doors that led out into a small backyard. Ever since him and James broke up, he moved into this little condo, and still wasn't unpacked. Which was fine because his bed was set up and that's all that mattered.
"Blinds open?" I nodded putting my crutches against the bed and tore off my shirt just as he pulled the blinds open. I squinted at the blinding white of the outside but welcomed it. He turned to me also tearing off his shirt and threw it to the hamper by his closet. "So…" I raised an eyebrow pushing my sweats down my legs and carefully stepped out of them, climbing up on his bed, avoiding my hurt knee. "I have some good news for you." I smiled big sitting down on my butt to wait for him. He pulled off his own sweats, and to my ultimate pleasure, he was going commando. I sighed in happiness and watched him flop down on his back. I went into action and lay over top of him, putting one hand down between us. I grabbed ahold of his flaccid dick and lay off to the side on him so I could gently rub up and down on his cock. "Carlos and I finally figured out what to do with that back room at the bakery."
"Really? And what did you decide on? And now what's my new timeline?" I closed my eyes snuggling my head into his neck letting his fingertips rub up and down my spine and he chuckled.
"Well that depends entirely on how much you want changed to your new office." I went completely still and opened my eyes looking out into the snow falling down hard and fast. "I would even consider extending the room to give you more space…maybe put in a bathroom there for you." I slowly raised my head and looked into his brilliant green eyes. He smirked raising his hands and put them on my cheeks. "Carlos brought up a really good point. You'd have more business if you had an office for people to look at your amazing work. And what better situation for you than to work with your ruggedly handsome, awesomely sweet boyfriend? We could car pool together." I slowly pushed myself up on his chest by putting my hands on his hard pecks. I sat back on his lower stomach and felt my lips part in disbelief. "Although…it would be a hell of a lot easier to car pool if you moved in with me. Now…if that's moving too fast you can so no. I just figured…we've spent the past three days together. I cannot imagine waking up without you. And I don't want to start anytime soon. And…" I reached down quick and set a finger on his lips. I winced out in pain feeling pressure on my knee because of how I was sitting. I quickly resituated myself so my leg was dangling off the side of the bed and I pressed my finger down into his lips.
"Are you out of your mind?" He smirked and sat up fast making my butt fall down onto the soft bed between Kendall's open legs. "Even if you and Carlos were serious about that…I couldn't just set up shop in your bakery. First of all I couldn't pay you to rent out the space. And…" Now it was Kendall's turn to raise his finger and put it over my lips. I frowned and gently kissed onto his skinny finger making him smirk.
"I'm not asking you to pay rent. Think about it Loges." I sat back dropping both my hands to my lap and looked down at his bare body before me. "We could build, essentially, an extra room on that side of the building and give you a legitimate office with a little seating area…you'd always have fresh coffee and pastries for you clients. It would boost not only your financial profile but probably your spiritual one. The more people you could get to believe in your work as much as I do…as much as Carlos and James do…I think it would help you get back to where you were, before everything happened to you." I glanced back out to the backyard and sighed out. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs and run and hide. Was this moving too fast? Yes, hands down, hell yes. But what if it's what I needed? What if I needed someone to take my hand and just shove me in the right direction? What if this was the time when I realized my potential, and I threw it away because I was a little gun shy? The only way I would know is if I took the chance. Clearly Kendall believed in me. He's willing to do this for me. Maybe I should trust him…
"I've always had this idea in my head about having my own shop. I know I could never do it at your bakery but one day I'll do it…I want to have a huge space, and set up make shift rooms. Bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and just decorate them all how I would in my own house. So that way when people come to get an estimate, they could see what their paying for." I smiled and turned back to see Kendall smiling back at me. "I've always wanted my own shop. And I've wanted to expand my business to maybe doing house flips. I've never had…besides my parents, I've never had someone believe in me that much. No one has ever firmly stood behind me and said go for it." He looked down and I raised a hand putting my palm on his cheek. "Until now." He glanced up fast and pulled me in faster kissing me hard. "If you want to…" I pushed him back slowly but held his face shaking my head. "If you want to take this chance on me, I'm willing to jump with you. If this is something you seriously want…"
"It is. Carlos and I decided last night. It wasn't a hard decision." I sighed out leaning back into him but he pulled away frowning. "I brought up something else with you. You haven't responded to it yet." I smirked and shrugged looking down at his pink pouty lips.
"Doesn't it scare you? To think we're going that fast?"
"Of course." I looked back up to his eyes and he shrugged putting his hands on my rib cage on either side. "But isn't it worth it? The only way up is to jump, right? And the only way you fall is if you miss where you jump…so with that knowledge the only thing we have to do…is to make sure we land on the right spot. I can't guarantee that us living together is going to be easy. Because you're a stubborn jackass who hates my help with everything. And I'm an obnoxious pushy asshole who thinks he knows what's best for you. But I'm crazy about you. And I'm willing to try this, as long as you are too." I moved in fast and attached my lips to his kissing hard. When I pulled away from his mouth there was a soft giggle from him as he lay back stretching his back, putting his arms over his head. I put my hands on his stomach and glanced to the alarm clock next to his bed.
"Just so you know…I hate alarm clocks. So that has to go. Also I expect breakfast in bed every day." He groaned loudly and sat up putting his lips on my neck. He started to tickle my sides, making me laugh out loud and lay back putting my hands on his shoulders. I gave him a push but he continued. "Kendall! Stop it!" He smirked evilly as he got up on his knees between my legs and leaned down kissing onto my chest. The tickles stopped and I ran my fingers up through his hair as he kissed all over my chest and stomach. "I should probably get in the shower. And ya know…my knee still bothers me. I could use some help." He looked up at me keeping his hands and lips on my body. I pushed his dirty blond hair back on his head and sighed out softly. "And when I say I need help, I honestly do. I can't stand for too long on my own." He nodded slowly, sitting up, and getting off the bed. He put out a hand and I gratefully took it.
About 20 minutes later he was wrapping a towel around me and walked me back into the bedroom. I sat on the bed, yawning and watched as he dried himself, because of course he showered with me. As he got dressed I looked at his body, still glistening here and there from the shower. He put on a pair of new dark blue jeans and put a dark green button up shirt on over a plain white t shirt. He buttoned up the green shirt and went to his dark cherry wood dresser. He grabbed some socks and got next to me on the bed pulling them on. Before he stood up he kissed my temple and told me if I didn't feel well, because he said I didn't look all that great, I could take a nap while he cooked. I felt bad but as he took a towel to my head and dried it, I closed my eyes and let him gently message my head. Even when he pulled the towel away from me I kept my eyes closed and carefully laid myself down onto the bed, so I was lying flat. I snuggled into the bed hating that I was only in a towel and shivered. When I felt the blanket get put over top of me, I opened my eyes and smiled up at him. He bent down quick, captured my lips in his and stood up fast. He turned and walked to his dresser, grabbing a bottle of cologne from on top. He spritzed some on his neck before heading to the door, and walking out, leaving me alone.
I had a short dreamless sleep. But it was nice. I sat up in bed, pushing the blanket off my body and yawned rubbing my face with one hand. I saw that the bedroom door was half way closed and heard soft talking and laughing coming from out in the living room. It was actually coming from the kitchen because it was Thanksgiving, and as I forced myself up and hopped along to Kendall's closet I started to feel giddy. I loved the holidays, especially Thanksgiving. I grew up with a huge family and Thanksgiving always meant a huge gathering. I didn't have any siblings so when my cousins came over it was the best. And knowing I wasn't going to be spending Thanksgiving alone this year, like I did last year, encouraged me to get dressed faster.
My outfit was probably too dressy for a Thanksgiving dinner for four people, but like I said…it was my favorite. I was wearing black slacks, and a white buttoned up shirt tucked into them. I also went a step further and put on a deep burgundy bow tie, making sure it was straight. And to complete the look I put on my regular black and white converse. Before I walked out to the talking that seemed to be getting louder, with laughter of course, I went to the bathroom and ran my brush through my hair. I took some of Kendall's hair gel and gelled my hair back and up pushing it off my face. I took a quick pee, washed my hands and then slowly walked myself out into the kitchen, without my crutches.
As I got out into the brightly lit, warm front area of the condo, I glanced out into the living room and saw James and Kendall standing in front of the fireplace, both holding a glass with orange juice in it. Probably mimosa's. I smirked seeing Kendall smiling small while James talked, using his whole body as an aid to tell his story. I looked into the huge kitchen and smiled bigger seeing Carlos sitting up on the counter by the sink. He was leaning forward with his elbows on his thighs looking down at his phone. I walked in slowly using the counter as a crutch and cleared my throat. He looked up fast and slid off the counter gracefully. I waved softly at him and made my way over to a glass pitcher full of orange juice and hopefully champagne. "Where's your crutches?" I thumbed over my shoulder to the bedroom and heard him sigh. "I'm making James and Kendall talk. I said if they start yelling they have to eat out in the snow." I smirked looking over at him as he leaned against the counter and watched me pour myself a glass of champagne laced orange juice. "So he told me he talked to you about the back room." I sighed and nodded taking a sip of the OJ. I welcomed the cold liquid and looked up at him as he laughed looking over my head. "It will be nice working alongside of you."
"Ditto." I turned my body ever so slightly and glanced out to the two men still standing in front of each other, talking quietly. "Happy Thanksgiving Carlos." I was pulled in softly and hugged by Carlos as I held my OJ and laid my head on his shoulder. "I don't know if I've told you this but I'm happy to have you in my life."
"Ditto." I chuckled pulling away but he kept an arm around me. "I hate to separate them knowing they really have to talk, but we gotta put the bird in the oven." I nodded letting him go and watched him walk out of the kitchen. I watched Carlos go up to the two men and raised my glass to my lips. As I started to tilt my head back I noticed James lean in and give Kendall a hug. The hug lasted no more than five seconds, but it was long enough for me to catch James run his hand over Kendall's ass as he started to pull away. I frowned lowering my glass and watched all three men walk back into the kitchen, only looking at James. He stopped right in front of me, and the smile he was wearing left his face. He cleared his throat and I set my glass down on the counter besides me.
"Logan do you think we could talk?"
