A traumatic mistake was all it took to ruin Lizzie Redwood's life, casting her into isolation with Eda the Owl Lady and her merry band of outcasts. Three years on, teenage human Luz Noceda arrives and brings with her the ghosts of Lizzie's past. Lizzie realises she can no longer hide from her problems and has to face them, lest the past repeat itself. Maybe Luz can show her how.
