When Alex woke up, Sam was still snoring softly next to her and it took a moment to get used to her surroundings. They had arrived to the coordinates Larry had given Sam late last night and found an impressive bunker. It had been built by the Men of Letters and had a library, living quarters, kitchen, locker room, electricity and running water. After the children picked their rooms, the adults had gone to bed. She and Sam had found a large room with one of the few queen sized beds. Apparently there weren't a lot of hunter couples. Alex got out of bed and went to make some coffee, not surprised when Sam entered the kitchen a few minutes later. "Morning."

"Morning." He kissed her before yawning.

"You should go back to sleep." Alex poked him lightly in his stomach. "You look like crap."

"Gee, thanks." Sam tickled her side, causing her to squirm and laugh. "This place is pretty amazing, isn't it?"

"Yeah." Alex agreed. "It's definitely the safest place for the kids. This could be their home—could be our home."

"We should probably get some food though." Sam said, examining the empty refrigerator. Alex handed him a mugful of coffee and took one for herself.

"Probably." Alex groaned happily as she sipped her coffee. "Thank God for coffee."

"Mom!" Madison shouted from the library. "Levi's playing with the swords!"

Sam chuckled. These kids kept him on his toes. "I'll handle it."

Alex raised an eyebrow but let him walk ahead of her, following him out of the kitchen and into the library. Levi dropped the sword with a clatter when he saw them, looking embarrassed when Sam gave him what Alex liked to call his 'dad look'. "Look, bud, these are dangerous and you could get hurt. They aren't toys."

"I know." Levi grumbled. "I'm sorry."

"Why don't you guys get dressed and we can go get some breakfast?" Sam suggested with a smile. The children brightened visibly and ran to their rooms, shouting for Dean to wake up.

"You might get the hang of this dad thing yet, Winchester." Alex teased him. "We should get dressed too."

Dean groaned as he came into the library, rubbing his eyes. "These kids are entirely too chirpy this early."

"Wait until Christmas." Alex waggled her eye brows at him. "We're all going out for breakfast. Want to come?"

"Will there be bacon?" Dean asked.

"Yep. Pancakes too." Alex promised.

"I'm in."

A half hour later, the Winchesters went to get into their cars when Seraphina pointed at a man walking toward them. "Mommy, who's that?"

"Oh my God." Alex gasped softly. Sam and Dean echoed her reaction. "It's Adam."

Meanwhile, in Stull Cemetery outside of Lawrence, Kansas, Lucifer dug his way out of his cage and took in a lungful of fresh air. "It's time to play."

A/N: I know this chapter was embarrassingly short and I apologize for my absence. I overloaded myself with fics and I'm ashamed to say that quite a few fell by the wayside. I will be updating this one weekly, however and thank you to those of you who have stuck with this story. Please feel free to leave a review on your way out. I love you guys.
