"Depends on who's asking." Buddy said defensively. Too many times a pretty face had betrayed his better judgment. She smiled and took another step toward him.

"I think you know me." She said quietly. Buddy was taken aback. She wasn't being seductive at all. She was just quiet. He couldn't decide whether that made her more or less dangerous. "After all, I am your biggest fan." She smiled. It hit him. This woman was Wraith, the daughter of Mr. Incredible. But, they had never spoken directly to each other.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think we've actually met." Buddy smiled charmingly. Wraith rolled her eyes.

"Look, if you haven't figured it out by now, I'm Ghost. The person who has been emailing you? Remember we said we'd meet when you were done with the house arrest?" She crossed her arms in front of her and raised an eyebrow. Buddy felt his pulse race. Ghost? The mysterious emails had been from a woman?

"Wow." Buddy said, unsure what he should say. "Umm, yeah. Wow."

"Wow what?" Wraith demanded.

"You're a…girl." He said simply.

"I'm a woman. I turned nineteen last week." She countered. They were dancing with their words now…though fencing is probably more like it.

"Oh, so you're legal." He grinned. A heavy slap caught him off guard. Wraith hadn't moved a muscle; a soda can had been the weapon.

"And you're a dirty old man." She shot back. Buddy chuckled.

"I'm not old. I'm only twenty-eight." He pouted for a moment. "So, I can see you've been working on your powers, Wrai-"

Her hand covered his mouth in a moment. She was so close now he could smell her lavender lotion.

"Don't say my alias out loud, you idiot. You're not the only Super Villain on the loose." She whispered, her eyes dark and serious. Buddy mumbled something under her hand. "What?" She asked. A moist sensation on her palm drove her to throw herself away from him. "EW! You licked me!"

Buddy was wiping his face.

"I was asking you to dinner." He explained. She turned her back on him.

"If that was the appetizer, I'm not interested."

"Hey, hey, hey! You need to get your mind out of the gutter, I didn't mean dinner like that!" He jogged to catch up to her and grabbed her shoulder to turn her around. In his head it would be smooth and romantic and would probably be the first step in getting him some action. But in reality it threw her off balance and she fell forward onto the cement. Fortunately for her, Buddy tripped on her and fell as well, catching her and landing with her on top of him.

"You okay?" She asked. Buddy was gasping. The air had been knocked out of him.

"Yeah." He finally grunted. "You are not as light as you look." He sighed, enjoying the air. Wraith rolled her eyes and stood up. As she helped Buddy up, she realized he had a badly scraped arm and his shirt was torn on the back.

"Oh great. Look what you did to yourself." She sneered. Buddy laughed sorely.

"What I did? Who was it that tripped me?"

"Who was it that pushed me over?"

"Yeah, well who was it that decided to…um…" He looked down at her, his eyes full of embarrassment and shame. She tried to push it away, but his baby-blues eventually won the battle.
