It had been two weeks since Nathan and Julianne had moved into their new apartment. It had been Nathans dream to go to Duke and well it wasn't happening the way he expected, he was still excited to start this journey with his 3 and a half year old daughter.
Julianne had been a shock for nathans whole family but she ended up being exactly what they needed. Dan, Nathans father had quickly picked up the role of grand father and became a better person because of it, helping Nathan wherever he could. Deb, nathans mother stopped taking the drugs she had been and began rehab. Still making time to spend time with her grand daughter. Nathan had changed the most. He became friends with Juliannes mother, no longer treating her as a one night stand. While they aren't together or will ever be a couple, they do their best to raise their daughter together. Nathan decided that after high school he would take a few years off to be able to raise his daughter. Only now, 3 years later he decided to go back. At age 20, Nathan was finally going to go to college.
"Daddy, I want to go see Mary. I'm hungry" Julianne whined as her dad was putting away some of the last few things they hadn't already done.
"give me 2 more minutes baby, I only have a couple of more things in the box" julianne let out a huge sigh, letting her dad know she wasn't happy with his response.
After about five more minutes of unpacking and a lot more sighs from the small child, Nathan was ready to go. "alright missy, lets go" julianne quickly ran to get her jacket and shoes on.
Once the small café came into view, julianne took off as fast as her feet could take her, Nathan following closely.
"MARRYYYYYY" julianne yelled as she burst through the doors and ran up to the counter. Noticing a new person to the café. (most people were usuals). Looking up at the brown haired lady and saying "whats your name?"
Nathan walked up at that moment and looking down at his daughter. "jules don't be rude." He then looked over at the lady beside his daughter, catching her brown eyes with his blue.
