How to Wake Pokemon Up, Eevee's Way!

I yawned and stretched. Mmm, that was a good sleep. I jumped out of bed and discovered that my locket was open. Weird…. Anyway, I can't dwell on that right now! I have to wake the other guys! I pulled my top secret possession out of my bag and snickered. These Eeveelutions were in for quite a surprise… "WAKE UP LAZY BUTTS!" I yelled at the top of my lungs while banging the (quite large) gong. Don't ask.

"WHAT THE HECK, EEVEE?" Night yelled right back. I nearly got hit by a pillow. Thank goodness Night had bad aim so early in the morning. But then I got battered by seven more pillows, sufficiently knocking me to the floor.

"Owww! That hurt! What's wrong with you guys and getting up?"

"Eevee, you just made me deaf." Wisp groaned.

"The better question might be what's wrong with you waking up your traveling companions with a gong at this ungodly hour of-" Flare glanced at the clock, "-FIVE O'CLOCK?" he screamed.

Yeowch! Didn't Flare realize he is also tormenting my eardrums? "What do you people have against five o'clock anyway?"

"It's too early…." Nymph moaned.

Humph. "The early birds get the worm!" I retorted.

"Who needs a worm when you can have sleep?" Jolt said, half asleep.

"GO TO SLEEP EEVEE!" Glass shouted at me. She always seemed to have a problem with me waking her up at five o'clock or earlier when she was home, and I for the life of me couldn't find out why. I was jolted out of my thoughts by a pillow in the face. Unlike Night, Glass's aim didn't seem to be affected by her drowsiness.

I quickly scampered back to bed, not wanting to be nailed in the face again.

One hour later~

Everyone was awake, even Wisp, the biggest sleepyhead of us all. I had been pummeled by the others as soon as I attempted to wake them up again. It was sort of hard to eat breakfast with a bruised jaw, I soon found.

Tilting my head backwards to force the Oran berry pancake into my mouth since it hurt moving my jaw, I heard Glass saying, "Okay, so we will take this road along Route One to get to Viridian City where we will begin searching for pieces of the PC key. Also, Viridian is a very big human city. This is very important: STAY TOGETHER! That is all." I sipped my Persim berry juice as I finished off my pancakes (very awkwardly, I might add…).

Another hour later~

We were ready to set out! Glass paid for our room and damages made by Jolt. I noticed that his ears drooped when he heard Glass apologize to the inn owner for the wrecked dining room and broken electrical box. Wisp patted his paw. Hmm, interesting.

We all seemed better at hiking long distances after our first "little" walk to Blaire Town. The cheerful chatter from the other Eeveelutions made me smile. Then I winced because of the sudden pain in my jaw. Wisp sure punches hard, I thought. Remind me never to wake her up with the gong again…

At first the walk was nice. But soon we started tiring. After what seemed like forever we finally reached Viridian. "Arceus, WHY THE HECK DO TOWNS IN THIS WORLD HAVE TO BE SO FAR FROM EACH OTHER?" Night cursed at the sky. I couldn't disagree. I melted into a puddle as soon as Glass said we could stop.

Us Eeveelutions just lay there panting for a while. "Up, troops! We aren't even in the city yet!" Glass commanded after a few minutes

"Noooooooo, not more walking! I'll dieeeeeeeeeeee!" Bubbles complained. My eyes popped as he rose from a seemingly innocent puddle of water to my left. I knew Vaporeons had that skill, but I never saw them use it before.

"YOU DARE DEFY YOUR COMMANDER?" Glass whispered, but with an even scarier effect than if she shouted. Her eyes turned into the hardest ice as she glared at Bubbles.

Eep! Glass is terrifying when she's angry! Bubbles looked like he had seen a demon and scrambled to his paws faster than ever before. Mental note: Never go against Glass's stare at 100% killer intent.

"ANYONE ELSE WANT TO CHALLENGE MY WILL?" She glared at us less intently but that was enough to get everymon up on their paws and ready to go.
