CHAPTER 5
"An Addition To The Family"
Justin alerted Yugi. Yugi returned the monster to his hand.
/Only one who hasn't been affected by a card is me./
"Dad, you okay?" Justin asked.
-Agreed.-
/Want to test the last card?/
"What happened?" Bruce asked in confusion.
-Yes...- Justin explained.
Yugi offered the last card. Jamie watched. Yami took it. Yugi nodded to Yami. Yami "put into play". Yugi's eyes glowed and he entered into a trance. Yami watched. Elemental Hero Avian appeared on the field. Jamie watched. Yami then withdrew the card. Yugi shook his head. Jamie looked at Jaden.
"What will we do about the cards?" Jaden asked.
"May need a new deck." Yugi said.
"Me or Yami could help you with that." Yugi added.
Jaden also wondered how the cards would be kept.
"Perhaps each person should be given the cards that affect them." Jamie suggested.
'Every one of Jaden's cards affects someone in the league. Thought of joining the Titans or Young Justice...doubt I'd be allowed in the Justice League yet.' Jamie mentally informed Justin.
Jaden nodded.
'Yeah I know.' Justin said.
"We own a game shop." Yugi said.
"Is there something else?" Bruce asked.
'Not sure who to contact or which group to join given I'm a student at Duel Academy.' Jamie mentally said to Justin.
"Trying to figure about those cards... All were Jaden's concept as a kid." Justin said.
"And a number's connected to a leaguer..." He added.
"Jaden is Jamie's twin..." Bruce started.
"Meant the cards in Jay's deck..." Justin said.
"Maybe has to do with his connection to Jamie." Bruce suggested.
'Not to mention my own...' Justin said.
"Why do I get the feeling one of us should contact Dick, Justin?" Bruce asked.
Justin did so. The party at the Kents continued. Justin used Rockman.
"Is something going on?" Nightwing asked.
Justin explained.
"Superboy use to be a side kick to Superman... they could start a branch in Domino." Nightwing said.
"But he acted in his own right while he was missing..." He continued.
"Yeah, I know." Justin said.
"Maybe best if I contact Young Justice about Superboy's desire to join and where you go to school." Nightwing said.
Justin agreed.
"You ever consider joining?" Nightwing asked.
"I'm not as impatient as you were." Justin reminded.
Nightwing nodded.
"No telling if Robin's needed yet." The boy said.
"May want to get some k-jewelry in the Wayne vault." Nightwing suggested.
Jamie looked at his family. Justin agreed. Jamie was checking out a black and green SUV. It had been a present. The others watched. Jamie smiled at his friends. Jamie wanted to take the SUV for a quick spin. The SUV seemed to move on its own though. Justin had a hunch.
"Alright you scamp, Get Out Of The Car!" Justin called.
'Actually that maybe me moving it.' Jamie thought.
A poof came behind Clark slightly. Justin looked behind his cousin. The SUV seemed to defy gravity.
"Mr. Mxyzptlk..." Clark started.
"Not my doing." Mr. Mxyzptlk said.
"Look the boys hands are raised." He said gesturing towards Jamie.
"Hmmm, wonder how Those Two think of this interloper..." Justin said.
'I'm going faye.' Jamie thought to Justin.
The car was sat down. Justin sighed.
'Was going to make him a bet to get rid of him once and for all.' Jamie thought to Justin.
Jamie's hands were in his pockets now. Justin laughed.
'I'm going to out trick him.' Jamie thought to Justin.
Jamie slipped away to where he wouldn't be seen and went faye.
'Think Ace would want a new Chew-toy?' Hub asked.
'Maybe.' Jamie replied in thought.
"He's not even a very good trickster." Came from nearby.
Justin groaned.
"What?!" Was demanded.
"I could easily out trick you easy." The faye said coolly.
"Appears you don't know history and folklore." Justin said.
"What do you mean?" Mr. Mxyzptlk asked.
"Humans ain't the Only game in town... Short man!" Justin said.
"There are those with magic in this dimension." The faye said.
Justin was suppressing his magic.
"I could out trick you any day, Imp." Kelano said coolly.
"He could, So if you knew what was good for you... You'd go home!" Justin said.
Mr. Mxyzptlk sputtered shocked.
"Don't believe him? You don't want to mess with his brother... Or sister-in-law..." Justin said sing-songly.
"Not to mention my nieces and nephews." Kelano said.
Clark looked at Justin wanting to ask if that was Jamie.
"I believe you've met Oberon when I was born, That's his elder-twin brother, Kelano." Justin told the Man of Steel
"But..." Clark started to ask if it was Jamie's faye form.
"Nieces and nephews?" Mr. Mxyzptlk asked.
"Puck, the Bansee, and Odin to name a few." Kelano said.
"Past self... Long past..." Justin whispered.
Clark nodded.
"Just go home and don't embarrass yourself." Kelano said.
"Hey Kelano, Can he be My pet's chew-toy?" Justin called to Kelano as a way to scare the imp.
"Of course." Kelano said.
"So Imp, go back to your dimension Or do I call my nighthound?" Justin asked.
Fiona was nearby growling at Mr. Mxyzptlk.
"I'll call this one's brother..." Justin said as he put his fingers to his mouth.
Ace arrived quickly.
"Kltpzyxm." Was heared and Mr. Mxyzptlk disappeared.
"Sorry for the call out pal, was hoping that you'd deal with an interdimensional troublemaker." Justin told his hound.
Fiona sat by Clark as Kelano left and Jamie soon returned.
'not sure if you know about Static's origins...' Jamie thought to Justin.
'I do, why?' Justin said.
'I had a fight with an alien at a warehouse a while back...' Jamie mentally informed Justin.
Justin let out an audible sigh.
'Alien caused a container to blow...was afraid to tell you guys at first.' Jamie mentally informed Justin nervously.
Justin rubbed his brow.
"Jamie..." Clark started to ask.
Justin explained. Clark sighed. Justin shrugged. Clark wondered if he should contact Virgin or Gear. But Justin did through Rockman.
"Yeah?" Gear asked.
"It's me, looks like Superboy might need your "expertise"." Justin said.
"Yeah?" Gear asked looking towards Static.
Justin explained.
"Should I bring, Static?" Gear asked.
"If you're Not Too busy..." Justin said.
"Things are slow. I'll call you after I talk to Static." Gear said.
Justin looked around before softly saying
"Thanks Rich...".
Gear disconnected.
"Static..." Gear started.
Virgil looked up.
"What's up Rich?" He asked.
"Superboy needs our help." Gear said.
Virgil agreed. Gear nodded.
"Should i tell them we're coming?" Gear asked.
Virgil nodded. Gear connected to Rockman's PET. An noise alerted Hub of this. Justin picked up at superspeed.
"V and I are on our way." Gear said.
Justin let out an audible sigh of relief. Ben looked at Clark wanting to take the SUV for a quick spin. Clark wasn't sure.
"I have a learns permit which means a licensed driver has to be in the car with me." Jamie said.
Clark gave him a look.
"It's true got it while I was missing." Jamie said.
Clark sighed. Jamie looked at the SUV.
"The couple who took me in insisted." Jamie said.
Clark understood. Jamie smiled. Clark sighed.
"Just wanted to drive around the block." Jamie said pouting slightly.
Clark reluctantly agreed, reminding of the speed limit. Jamie nodded. Clark sighed.
"I could go with him, Mr. Kent." A voice offered.
Clark nodded.
"Yugi..." Jamie started.
Clark knew of Yugi through the League.
"I was Hal Jordan's nephew through marriage anyway." Yugi whispered to Clark.
Clark nodded. Yugi and Jamie got in the SUV. Clark watched them go. It didn't take long for them to return. Clark heard. May met them. Clark watched. Jamie and May came in hand in hand. Clark chuckled. Jamie sighed. Clark couldn't help himself. Jamie showed Clark his blue lantern ring before putting it in his pocket. Clark nodded. Jamie smiled. Jamie returned to the party. All where still there.
SOON TIME PAST
May cried out. Jamie rushed to check on her. May had been wearing Jamie's blue kryptonite ring since the party almost year ago. That was the first day of vacation and the gang hadn't gone to the mainland leaving Jamie and May alone in the dorm. When Jamie realized May was in labor he called his dad. Clark rushed over.
"I think she's in labor." Jamie said.
May was very big. Clark took the the girl for care. Jamie followed.
'Justin...' Jamie started mentally.
'I'm here.' Justin said.
'May...she's...' Jamie started.
'Need me to do anything?' Justin asked.
'Dad's taking her...but...' Jamie mentally started.
'What?' Justin urged.
'Family...' Justin started.
Justin went ant and got the word out. They all gathered. Triplets were eventually born with Jamie by May's side but something was wrong with two of them.
'J-Justin...' Jamie started mentally sounding in shock.
'What?' Justin asked.
'Birth defect...I mean it's Triplets...but two are...' Jamie tried to mentally explain.
Justin wondered.
'Two are conjoined...l-looks like they share an organ.' Jamie mentally sounded like he was still in a state of shock.
All three were crying. Justin contacted the medical division, knowing it'd get back to his father. Clark was in the waiting room. Jamie was a little pale from shock. Justin let Clark know of Jamie's fear.
"I'll contact Kandor." Clark said.
Justin relayed.
'Think they share a heart.' Jamie said mentally.
Again Justin relayed. Clark nodded and left for the fortress of solitude. Justin sighed. Clark contacted Kandor. They acknowledged. Clark explained the situation. It was understood.
"I was hoping Kryptonian medicine could help them. With Earth medicine one or both could die." Clark said.
It was agreed. Clark sighed. Justin hoped to aid. Jamie came out looking pale. Clark explained. Jamie sat weak from shock. It was understood. Justin doubted his parents minded of possibly putting forth company resources to aid family.
"Justin?" Bruce asked.
Justin explained the situation. Bruce agreed that they should help however they could. Justin informed the Kandorians and their dors. Jamie seemed different. Justin sensed it. Jamie looked towards Justin but, one eye was blue and the other green. Justin wondered. His ears were changing shape. Justin tuned in. Jamie was changing forms this was a first. Jamie's hair started to grow out. Justin hoped that it didn't mean trouble. Eventually the change was done. Jamie closed his eyes. His body seemed to be taking on a new form. His hair was half red and half black. One of his eyes was green and other blue. His clothes were bits of attire of the faye, his Superboy costume, and his Blue Lantern uniform. He had what looked like black bird wings coming from his back. He had a Senen Eye on on his forehead and there were what looked like black ribbons around the upper part of his arms. Jamie's ears were also pointed like a faye but now with what looked like black tuffs at the tips. And a red dragon's tail came.
'Ugh, Oberon's gonna kill me!' Justin thought to himself.
"Justin..." Jaden started to ask.
Justin explained. Bruce was surprised. Justin wasn't. Jamie looked like a mix of Superboy, Blue Lantern, faye and dragon. Jamie also looked like he was accessing shadow magic. Justin sighed, grumbling.
"What is going?" Bruce and Jaden asked in unison.
Justin tried to explain. A weapon appeared in Jamie's hand. Justin was ready to defend. The weapon and earrings glowed yellow.
"The weapon drawls power comes from the mirror realm to the Shadow Realm. It is a world of positive emotion and light." Jamie said.
Justin being hikari fed from this realm. Jamie reverted to his normal form and he put the weapon down. Justin sighed. Jamie started to collapse in exhaustion. Justin caught him. Jaden went to the pair. Jamie was in a deep sleep by then. Justin sighed.
"Is he OK?" Jaden asked
"Asleep." Justin said.
"Should I contact J'onn?" Bruce asked about the kids.
"There is One i could see..." Justin started.
"Yeah?" Bruce asked.
"You Know Who, Dad..." Justin said.
Bruce nodded and went to Avalon.
"Mother..." Bruce started upon entering the throne room.
Justin explained about the fey and the familial connection. The fey queen smiled at her boy.
"Kelano has triplets. .but..." Bruce started.
"Two are in trouble?" She finished.
"Yeah. It seems they share a heart." Bruce said.
Titania looked at her husband. Oberon stood.
"They are Kelano's children...so they are family." Oberon said.
Titania smiled. Oberon soon appeared in the hospital. Mortals didn't notice... Justin followed to act as a conduit. Oberon used his magic to help the two In Trouble. Justin aided. Part of the magic was intended to make the dors and nurses forget the condition of the birth. It was known by the casters. And the family of the casters. Jaden looked at Lois on if he should take Jamie to the penthouse. Lois nodded. Jaden took Jamie to the penthouse. Yugi look worried. May was exhausted. One of the casters knew. A dor came out to fill in the family. The was grins and sighs...
"Triplets...mom is sleeping." The dor said.
It was understood...
"All the babies are healthy." The dor said.
Bruce returned about them. Justin was right behind as cheers came. Bruce smiled at his son. Justin winked and grinned. Yugi smiled. Yugi had sensed the magic. Lois sighed. Again Justin looked at his counterpart.
"I sensed that magic." Yugi said.
"They're family..." Justin said.
Yugi nodded.
"Jaden took Jamie to the penthouse." Yugi said.
"Dad went to Avalon, I offered..." Justin said.
Yugi nodded.
"At least he can't gripe about magic..." Justin said.
Yugi laughed.
"Clark went to his man cave." Yugi said referring to Superman's Fortress of Solitude.
"Yugi its his little piece of "Krypton" on earth." Justin reminded.
"Talking to his family in Kandor." Yugi said.
Justin nodded.
"He went to help the kids." Yugi said.
"Guess I better go and tell him..." Justin said.
Yugi nodded. Justin went to the fortress. Clark looked at Justin. Justin explained. Clark sighed.
"I know you met Oberon..." Justin started.
"My brother..." came a voice and glow behind Clark.
Clark looked. An adult version of Kelano was standing there glowing.
"Aw no..." Justin groaned.
"Justin..." Clark started.
"Aged form of Kelano..." Justin said.
Clark nodded.
"If this doesn't draw out Oberon..." Justin muttered.
A portal appeared beside Kelano. Justin groaned. Oberon appeared.
"Right on cue..." Justin muttered.
Kelano looked at Oberon as he appeared.
"So what do we owe the pleasure?" Justin said.
Oberon looked to Kelano.
"Left Fiona on the island when May went into labor." Kelano said.
"You got three Healthy little ones..." Justin told the dark-haired one.
"But they..." Kelano started.
"Justin and I used magic to help them." Oberon said.
"After Pop went to Her... I offered to tell you..." Justin said.
Kelano nodded. Justin was looking at Oberon.
"Tatina and I were together in the thrown room." Oberon said.
Justin knew why. Kelano nodded. Justin wondered of his "cousin".
"I still need to get Fiona." Kelano said.
It was understood.
"My body is exhausted though." Kelano said.
"It's probably from Me... Using fey magic while human Ain't easy you know... " Justin said.
"The stress of all this could have something to do with it." Kelano said.
Justin nodded, fighting a yawn. Kelano yawned.
"I could go get Fiona." Clark offered.
Kelano agreed. Justin finally yawned. Kelano disappeared. Clark flew back to Duel Academy and took Fiona to the penthouse. Justin tried to slip in once home. Kara met Justin at the door. Justin sighed.
"Hey Mom..." He said.
"Hi." Kara said.
Justin Tried to hide weakness. Kara helped Justin to bed.
"Aw, ma... I'm fine." Justin said.
"You need to rest." Kara said.
Justin was turning into his dad. Kara was insisting.
'Parents, aye...' Justin thought.
Kara got Justin in bed. Fiona went to Jamie's room and joined him in bed once Clark put her down. Justin fell asleep. Kara smiled at this. Ace joined in. Kara pet Ace. Ace panted away. Kara smiled. Ace settled in. Kara let Justin sleep. Luckily Rockman kept track of assignments and Business affairs that called for Justin. Clark got the penthouse ready for the triplets. An easy task at superspeed.
/Yami.../

Yami hadn't been told about the kids yet since he wasn't with the family.
/Jamie's a new daddy./
-How long do you think it'll Before we hear of ol' bats being called "Gramps"?-
/Couple years I'd imagine Justin will be at least if not older./

/True. Jamie has an SUV. He got given some tech by gear to make controlling his bang baby powers easier./
Yami smirked.
/They had boys identical and one girl./
Yami smiled at that.
/I'm going to look into schools and buy them a place and give it to them when they're old enough./
-So I take it that you're looking forward to the day...-
Yugi sighed.
/Yeah./
Yami smirked.
/Might teach them to duel./

/If their parents don't teach them first./

/Lan was world champion last life...so I'm sure that Jamie will do well./
-Think their rivalry will resume?-
/Maybe. But, probably more like the rivalry I had with Joey then the one with Seto./
Yami agreed.
/We'll see./

/Wonder how they'll handle the kids with school./

/Seto has been trying to get me to go to work at the Academy. Something seemed off about his voice...sounded kinda artificial./
Yami was concerned.
/I think I'll take the job./
Yami smiled.
"I'm the new Headmaster of Obelisk Blue...or will be." Yugi told those in the waiting room.
There were gasps.
"Seto Kaiba offered me the job last month. Said they gotten to many complaints about the current headmaster of Obelisk." Yugi said.
All were quiet.
"Maybe I can arrange to have May live with me on the island so Téa and I could help with the kids while they're in class." Yugi said.
Yugi looked at Téa on how she felt about it. Téa smiled. Yugi smiled. Téa agreed. Yugi hugged her. Téa stayed. Yugi sighed and broke the hug. Téa looked at him. Yugi was keeping quiet about something. Not easy when you're half a soul. The feeling of fear went to Yami from Yugi. Yami grew concerned.

"Téa..." Yugi started taking her hand.
Tea looked at him.
"We need to talk." Yugi said.
Tea nodded. Max told Kevin he was visiting Smallville. Kevin explained why he called.
"I want to come so will Martha." Max said.
Kevin smiled at that.
"Tell Gwen's uncle his mom is going to want to come up. Assuming he isn't hearing this conversation." Max said.
Kevin relayed.
"I'll go to the farm. Can you two take the supplies to my apartment?" Clark asked.
Kevin and Gwen agreed.
"Thanks." Clark said and slipped somewhere he could change to his costume.
Than Superman flew to Smalliville. Max was talking to Martha. Martha noticed their boy.
"Ma..." Superman started.
Max smiled.
"Hello, Clark." Max said.
"How are you?" tha asked.
"Jamie's girlfriend had his kids...triplets." Superman said.
"I told Kevin that you'd want to go meet Jamie's kids at least if not help." Max told Martha.
Martha smiled, hoping to see when Kara had her own grandchildren.
"Dad..." Superman started to ask.
"Hi, Clark." Max said looking at Superman.
Martha watched. Superman hugged Max gently.
"I was visiting your ma when Kevin called." Max said returning the hug.
"And they had some "special" help..." Clark said.
Max nodded.
"I knew your ma would want to at least meet your grandkids." Max said.
"I know... Never thought you'd be here to see them..." Clark admitted.
Max smiled.
"Guess my time as a plumber came in handy raising you and when Carl took care of Jamie after your coma started." Max said.
Clark shrugged.
"Protecting the world from alien threats and all." Max said.
Clark nodded.
"Jamie helped with that and was kinda a member." Max said.
Clark smirked.
"We were on a plumbers spaceship just before you woke up." Max said.
Clark nodded.
"I called Connor when I realized Ben was Jamie and..." Max started.
Clark understood.
"Well he went alien to wake you...think he most have used Echo Echo." Max said showing images of Ben's alien forms except one.
Clark nodded.
"This one is Echo Echo, multiplies and has supersonic abilities." Max said.
"Yeah, I know..." Clark said.
"Yeah?" Max asked.
"How I came out of my coma." Said Clark.
Max nodded.
"Sure, Jamie means well..." Clark started.
Max nodded.
"Of course He's the only one to bring out a certain side of Justin." Clark said.
Max nodded.
"Without him, kid was turning into Bruce Jr." Clark said.
"Connor mentioned it before I sent Jamie to go see Justin." Max said.
Clark nodded.
"From there I think he went to try and wake you." Max said.
Clark nodded. A whine was heard from nearby. Clark looked. Krypto was in the doorway to the farm. Clark went over to his babyhood friend. Krypto flew around Clark barking happily. There were pearls of laughter. Krypto was licking Clark. Max smiled. Clark tried to hold Krypto back.
"He's been here since your coma started." Martha said.
Clark nodded. Krypto soon landed next to Clark happily. The couple smiled.
"Jamie has kids." Max told Krypto.
Krypto panted.
"Kal was here to get his mum to see them." Max said.
Krypto liked kids.
"They still in the hospital?" Max asked.
Clark explained. Max nodded.
"I think Rook wants to meet them. He is Ben...Jamie's partner with the plumbers." Max said.
Clark nodded.
"Course he is an alien." Max said.
Clark raised an eyebrow.
"I could introduce you." Max said.
Clark nodded. Max signaled for the plumbers ship in orbit. Rook answered.
"Time you met Ben's real dad." Max said.
Rook was confused.
"Come to the Kent farm and i think you'll understand." Max said.
Rook did so.
"Rook..." Max started and gestured towards Superman behind him.
Rook looked as his jaw dropped.
"This is my adoptive son Clark...he's Ben's dad." Max said.
Rook was quiet.
"And Ben is a daddy now." Max said.
Rook was stunned.
"Triplets." max said.
Rook slowly nodded.
"I doubt even Ben expected three." Max said.
But none knew what he saw in the future. Or the possibility that Justin would "father" then pass on the mantle of the bat as it would be once his turn. It was agreed. Max sighed. Rook smiled lightly.
"I wonder if i should tell Carl...that's my son with my first wife...he's the man that took in Jamie during the coma since Jamie didn't have his memory." Max told Clark.
Clark wanted to meet his "brothers".
"Maybe take your ma to Metropolis first." Max suggested.
Clark nodded.
"I'll call your siblings." Max said.
Clark nodded. Martha went to Clark. Clark smiled.
"Go on you two I'll catch up." Max said.
The pair left. Max called Carl. Carl answered.
"Carl..." Max started.
"Dad?" Carl retorted.
"Someone wants to meet you and your siblings." Max said.
Carl agreed and relayed. One asked where Max was. Carl hadn't asked. Max had given a number to reach him before he got off with Carl. Max waited to hear back from the kids.
Carl gave his brother the contact number. Frank called his dad. Max answered.
"Where are you, dad?" Frank asked.
"Smallville, Kansas. But, where I and the one that wants to meet you doesn't matter since can get to you quickly no matter where he is." Max said.
Frank was curious.
"I'm sure you've heard of both his names...Clark Kent with the Daily Planet." Max said.
Frank and Carl both had.
"He's my adopted son." Max said.
There was surprised.
"And um...he's Ben's real father." Max said.
Frank was stunned silent.
"He's known by another name to the world." Max said.
Frank waited.
"Superman." Max said.
Frank was shocked.
"But he wants to meet you, Carl, the wives and kids." Max said.
It was agreed.
"I'm in the Kent Farmhouse right now." Max said.
It was understood. Max didn't know that Frank was in Smallville. Frank was making his way through town.
"Hello." Frank greeted.
"Hi." Said Lana.
"I am in Smallville by the way, dad." Frank said.
"Was that Lana Lang?" Max asked.
"Mrs. Lang?" Frank asked.
"That's me." Lana said.
"I need to get to the Kent farm." Frank said.
Lana took him. Max greeted the pair.
"Hi, Lana." Max said.
Lana nodded.
"This is Clark's adoptive brother...my son frank." Max said.
Lana smiled.
"Martha went with Clark to Metropolos...to meet out great-grandkids..." Max said.
Lana understood.
"I told them I'd follow along with Frank. Carl is going to meet us there." Max said.
Lana again understood.
"Clark's son's girlfriend had triplets." Max said.
Lana smiled.
"Two boys and a girl." Max said.
Lana's smile grew.
"Jamie is only 17 though." Max said.
Lana's smile turned into a smirk.
"Well will be soon." Max said.
Lana nodded.
"His birthday is tomorrow." Max said.
Lana smiled.
"May...Jamie's girlfriend father is vp now of Queen industries." Max said.
Lana knew.
"Jamie's second cousin is heir to Wayne Tech Enterprises." Max said.
"You mean Justin Wayne? He's getting to be quite the dream-boat, like his dad." Said Lana.
"Not sure if you met Kara..." Max started.
'Sounds familiar..." Said Lana.
"Kara is Clark's cousin." Max said.
Then Lana recalled.
"she's Justin's mom." Max said.
Lana's jaw fell opened.

An alarm was heard from Yugi's wrist which called him to action as Green Arrow. Justin rushed over as Robin. Yugi looked at Justin.
"Need backup? Sup warned me." Said the boywonder.
"I'm fine." Yugi said.
But Justin wasn't fooled.
"I have to go on patrol." Yugi said.
Justin had sensed something was going to happen.

Jamie gasped mentally as he shot up wide awake.
"I'm part-bat remember?" Justin teased.

Then Yugi teleported Justin away and put him under the affect of his item to witness things if he continued with his actions.
"YUGI NO!" Justin yelled as he was blinded then casted away.
Next thing Justin knew he was in a destroyed town. A fight was going on. Clark, Jaden, Kon, Jamie's triplets and Kara were fighting two supers. Both were teens and had black hair. Jamie was no where to be seen. Justin joined in. Kara gasped seeing Justin. Kara looked like she'd seen a ghost.
Justin was lanterned But with an ancient k glowing upon his forehead, eyes glowing white. Two magicks within at work.
"ENOUGH!" He roared.
The simple word sent shock-waves. The teens looked at Justin surprised. The teen looked wounded, battered... And emotionally annoyed at the pair.
"Don't Make ME Use My Others Powers... Look at the area around you!" He said.
"Justin..." Kara started.
Justin hissed in pain and strength loss. Kara rushed to him.
'Justin...' came a weak mental voice.
'Yugi...' Justin started as he fell into his mother's grasp Or so it seemed.
One of the teens that the supers had been fighting almost collapsed. Justin shot a beam to catch the falling teen, sweating and panting.
"Terry!" One teen exclaimed.
'I-I don't...' Yugi started in confusion.
Justin heard.
'Y-You died...when Yami and I...' Yugi started mentally.
Justin needed care.
'When we died...I heard Jamie's in stasis.' Yugi mentally said.
Kara helped Justin.
"Where's K-Kent?" Justin rasped.
Clark sighed sadly.
"Fortress..." Clark started.
"Mine's gonna ring my neck..." Justin muttered.
"I had to put him in stasis..." Clark started.
"He's been getting weaker and weaker by the day since you died with Yugi and if he wasn't in stasis I feel he would have died by now."
"I don't think I can keep him alive like this for long." Clark said.
Justin was aware. Clark took Justin to the Fortress of Solitude. Jamie looked very sick and weak even in stasis. Yugi had sent Justin there temporarily trying to show why he had to let him go. Yugi's item was waiting until the point had been realized. Of course the kryptonite only meant supers and those from krypton couldn't help Yugi.
"You know that I was..." Justin started.
"You were trying to help Yugi. Those supers we were fighting well..." Clark started.
"Their from Kara's side."
"Meaning "me"..." Justin muttered, vowing to keep away from archers If he ever got home.
Yugi's item pulled Justin back to his time. He groaned, disoriented.
'Justin...' Jamie started mentally.
'I Really hate Him at times...' Justin mentally said with a groan.
'What is it?' Jamie mentally asked.
'You Don't wanna know...' Justin bitterly replied.
Justin glanced at where he was in case time passed. No time had past.
"Should I ask someone to get Téa and..." Jamie started.
Justin hissed in pain, about to pass out.

"Go with John." Jamie said
Téa did so. Justin felt himself getting looked over. John took her to Yugi's side. Justin was planning stay away. He felt some place a hand on his head along his hair.
"Téa?" Yugi asked very weakly.
Téa gave a sad smile.
"It's OK." Yugi said softly.
"I'm sorry." Yugi said weakly.
"You know he means well..." Téa said.
"Bats..." Justin started.
Jamie's spirit appeared before Batman.
"Bruce..." Jamie started.
Justin looked. Yugi's own act had caused the seed of the bat to grow.
"Green Arrow...Yugi is dying." Jamie said.
There was a sigh.
"Justin was trying to help..." Jamie started.
"I was... seriously..." Justin coughed.
"It was a kryptonite arrow." Jamie said.
Yugi went limp. Jamie sighed.
"Yugi's gone which means Arsenal isn't far behind." Jamie said.
It was understood. Silent tears fell from Justin. Jamie looked at Bruce since Jamie was only there as a spirit. Justin could tell.
"I was talking to Dad." Jamie said.
Bruce listened while field tending his not-so-little bird...
"He's probably worried you know him...Justin gonna be OK?" Jamie asked.
"He'll need time..." Said Bruce.
"Yeah?" Jamie asked.
"Radiation..." Said Bruce.
"Just what affect one of us affects both sometimes." Jamie said.
"Just warning you..." Bruce warned as he looked at the now unconscious Justin.
The boy had passed out. Jamie nodded and disappeared. Jamie fell to his knees with Clark. Clark aided his boy.
"I'm just a little weak...Justin is out from kryptonite exposer." Jamie said.
"You're Not too miffed, are you? You know how he can be..." Said Clark said.
"He was trying to help Yugi." Jamie said.
Clark wondered how Bruce and Kara were handling...
Jamie looked tired. Clark helped his boy to bed. Jamie was asleep quickly. It was quiet. Fiona laid next to Jamie on the bed. It was unknown if Justin was alone. But Ace was probably. Justin stirred hours later. Ace looked at Justin.
"Hey buddy..." Justin said with a depressed tone.
Ace licked him trying to comfort. There was a slight laugh. Ace nuzzled Justin. Justin sighed. Ace tried to comfort Justin. Justin felt guilty. Ace tried to make him feel better.
"I am such a dumb-ass!" Justin muttered to himself.
Ace seemed confused. Justin felt the league would be against him for what happened to the arrows. Thoses that knew the arrows though knew the way they were. The two had always been more than willing to sacrifice themselves to protect others. Justin felt differently.
"Justin..." Kara started checking on him.
Justin looked over at his mother.
"Are you OK?' Kara asked.
Justin shook his head.
"Wanna talk about it?" Kara asked sitting on the edge of the bed.
"it's My fault..." Justin lamented.
"I don't see how." Kara said.
"Yugi was sick..."
Justin looked at her tearfully. Despite being a teenager, was still able to be set onto his mother's lap like a child.
"Wither he died like this or in a hospital...but, I think he would have preferred to go out on the job." Kara said putting Justin in her lap.
It was obvious That Kara wasn't using a certain piece of Jewelry. A tear fell from Justin as he rested his head upon her shoulder. Kara smiled. Justin wasn't as guarded about his feelings as his father had been at his age. Kara sighed. Justin stayed. Kara held him. Justin looked like he was would fall sleep in her arms. Kara stayed. But of course few knew of shadow magic and it's weillders. Kara watched her son. Justin fell back to sleep. Kara put him in bed and tucked him in. Ace took a stance due to the hour.
"Let's let him sleep tonight." Kara said.
It was agreed, seemingly that Justin had some sort of breakdown. Dick had offered to come help if Bruce needed it as had Clark. It was accepted. Dick went to the loft in Gotham so he would be available. It was known for a hideaway. Dick sat in front of a computer so he would get the signal if Bruce sent it and was fiddling with a birdarang like he used and Nightwing. It was routine since moving out.
"Dick..." Barbara started standing behind him.
Dick looked over at her.
"What are you doing here? I mean back in Gotham." Barbra said.
Dick explained.
"Good to have you back, Dick." Barbra said.
"I miss having you in Gotham."
Dick nodded, worried for the little bird.
"He and Green Arrow were close. Arsenal is in a bad way J'onn says he's dying and that there is nothing he can do. I hear all of NYC is mourning the death of Green Arrow seems his ID is known and people know what he really did as Yugi Motou." Barbra said.
"Kid's, blaming himself..." Said Dick.
"Yugi died doing what he wanted making sure NYC was safe. The clan don't know yet they'll find out. Not night yet." Barbra said.
Dick nodded.
"I offered to tell them so, I need to get over to Xanatose's before nightfall." Barbra said.
Dick agreed. Barbra left and arrived in Xanatose's courtyard before nightfall. The clan broke free of the stone.
"I have some bad news. It's about Yugi Motou." She said.
All listened.
"Do you know of his alter-ego?" Barbra asked.
There were nods since it had been figured out but were willing to keep the secret.
"It's not secret anymore. His true identity was discovered." Barbra said.
It looked as if the City of New York was in mourning.
"But, he...he died." Barbra said.
One asked how a certain young boy was taking the news and if she knew that the ladies of both houses were friends.
"Justin is blaming himself." Barbra said.

"The city is even going into mourning." Barbra said.
Flags were all at half staff. It was again understood. Hudson asked if she knew that Justin was Fox's godson. Barbra nodded.
"I don't think I've ever seen all of New York in mourning." Barbra said.
It was agreed.
"Not sure how bad it will be on the street without Yugi." Barbra said.
It was understood and agreed.
"Nightwing is gone too... he's in Gotham." Barbra said.

"But I'm sure the league would be willing to help keep the peace if need be." Barbra said.

"I should get back. I only came cause I offered to tell the clan. Oh and Jamie is a new daddy of triplets." Barbra said.
It was understood. Barbra didn't know that the clan and Jamie's previous life Lan had been related by blood. She only knew of the current legal ties.

Barbra also didn't know of Oberon or any of the faye. There were soft smiles. No one knew when the "Next generation" of the Bats would come. Barbra went back to Gotham. All was quiet for the moment.
"I could suit up if you guys need me to." Barbra told Dick.
It was agreed. Soon Joker was spotting in Gotham. But he wasn't alone. He had two face, riddler, cat-woman and scarecrow with him. Help was needed. Dick asked for help from the league and explained the situation. It was agreed then given.
"I may get flak from Bruce for this but I'd rather be safe the metas said they would stay on stand by unless we need them." Dick said and went to suit up.
It was agreed. Dick met up with Bruce as Nightwing.
"Batman..." Dick started.
Bruce looked.
"Saw Joker, Riddler, Two-face, Cat-woman and Scarecrow together looked like they teamed up." Nightwing said.
Batman nodded.
"The Justice League is on standby." Dick said.
Bruce understood, thinking of asking Black Canary Or Miss Martian if she could help Justin later. Barbra soon arrived.
"Thought you boys could use some help." She said.
Bruce nodded. The trio came up with a plan to deal with the five. The villains were antsy.
"Ready to fight these five?" Nightwing asked Batgirl and Batman.
The pair nodded. The pair fought. Scarecrow exposed the entire trio to his fear toxin.
"Dad..." Jamie started when he woke up.
Clark went to Jamie.
"Bruce, Dick and Barbra were all exposed to fear toxin." Jamie said.

"They were fighting, Joker, Riddler, Two-face, Cat-woman and Scarecrow... they need back-up but I doubt they are in any shape to ask for it." Jamie said.
Clark went to aid. Jamie sighed worried. Clark rushed them.
Clark was able to stop the five and got the Terrific Trio somewhere they would be safe until the fear toxin wore off. Jamie was trying to keep the condition of the terrific trio from Justin in his condition. Jamie astral projecting to Green Lantern Lan and went to Miss Martian to get help for Justin.
"Megan... I'm Lan Jordon." He started.
"You knew Robin's lantern predecessor..."M'gann Said.
"My dad. My dad in this life is in his Fortress of Solitude trying to make an anti-toxin for the terrific trio." Lan said.
"Why are-?" M'gann stared.
"Fear toxin... Bruce was going to come ask you to help Justin. Justin isn't handling Yugi's death too well." Lan said.
M'gann nodded.
"My hikari can be a little sensitive. Loosing Yugi and Yami is going to be hard on him... my current probably to once it all sets in. I think my current is still a bit in shock due his triplets. Yugi... Green Arrows death is why Arsenal is dying. Light cannot exist without dark and dark cannot exist with light. I'd imagine it's going to be hard on Oliver Queen." Lan said.
M'gann nodded in agreement.
"I'm sure the older members of the league are going to try and help him." Lan said.
M'gann again nodded in agreement.
"Since at the moment Bruce can't ask you and Justin is out right now and probably wouldn't ask." Lan said.
"Dad's busy and mom not sure what she's doing maybe trying to get the penthouse ready for the triplets."
Justin began tossing in his sleep, obviously in the throws of a nightmare.
"Justin is having a nightmare." Lan said.
"Kara! Best wake Justin having a nightmare!"
Justin was at the point where he was calling out and running.
Kara caught Justin.
"Better go to Gotham. I'm just an astral projection." Lan said.
Justin woke up with a start, in tears. Lan disappeared and the glow around Jamie left him. Kara held Justin. Justin broke down. Kara comforted. M'gann went to Wayne Manor and soon landed near Kara.
'M'gann?' Justin asked mentally, Not trusting his voice.
"Yeah." M'gann said.
Justin looked at her with mixed emotions.
"I'm here to help you." M'gann said.
"Who sent you?" Kara asked.
"Lan Jordon said that Bruce was going to ask me. The terrific trio left to help the league with something." M'gann said.
She agreed with not telling Justin yet about what was really going on.
'Meg, don't sugarcoat... something happened...' Justin said through the link.
"The terrific trio were exposed to fear toxin." M'gann said.
Justin became sullen.
"Clark is working on reversing it. Lan said we should wait until you were better before we told you." M'gann said.
Justin cursed in a foreign language which was a habit when upset. M'gann sighed. It was obvious that Miss tian was used to the youth's antics.
"Bruce was planning on asking me to help you. I think Clark took the five rouges to Arkham after making sure the terrific trio couldn't hurt themselves or anyone else." M'gann said.
Justin nodded.
"I mean having Joker, Riddler, Two-face, Cat-woman and Scarecrow running amok and unchecked would have been a bad things." M'gann said.
Justin agreed.
"The baddie team up was why all three went." M'gann said.
Justin understood.
"Lan felt you were already going through a lot and wanted to wait to tell you until we knew it would be awhile for the trio." M'gann said.
"Oh, that twit!" Justin groaned.
M'gann sighed. Justin's memories expanded to his past life which was kept a guarded secret.
"I'm here to help you." M'gann said.
Justin knew that she wouldn't reveal unless absolutely necessary...
