for a few hours. It is coming to a point where Jude is
ready to call it a night.
"If I have to do this one more time Quincy, I swear
when
I get out of here I will kill you," Jude
threatens.
"Now,
would you really want to do that, Harrison? Just
sing it again. I
promise this is the very last time,"
Tommy compromised.
"That
is exactly what you said three hours ago," Jude
complains.
"T,
man, you really have been working her hard. You
should give her a
break," Kwest reasons.
Tommy's mind wanders to the gutter
for a split second,
but he snaps back to reality before they can
notice
him space out.
"Hey, who is the producer here?"
"You are," Jude and Kwest reply in unison.
"Right,
and don't you forget it. How about I hear less
talk and more
singing?"
"Perfectionist..." Jude murmured with a sigh.
"You bet I am. Do I really push that hard?"
Tommy
smirks.
"Yes!" Jude answers confidently.
"Then I guess I am doing my job. Now sing!"
"Fine," Jude finally gives in.
She proceeds to repeat the same process that
was now
burned into her brain from going through it so much.
A
few minutes pass before Jude finishes the last note
of her song
and she can begin to relax.
"Is that enough?" She asks, while taking a breath.
"Yes, that is enough," Tommy replies.
"Can we take a break now?" Jude's asks, using
all the
energy she has left to be enthusiastic.
"Yes.
Come to think of it...I am actually getting
rather tired."
"Hey
you are the producer. You get to call the shots,"
Jude laughs.
"You bet I do!" Tommy replies.
"Cocky much, Quincy?"
"Let's just go get something to eat," Tommy
says,
changing the subject.
"Now you are speaking my language!"
The both laugh as they get up from their chairs.
They
start to leave without paying any attention to Kwest.
"Am
I invisible or something?" Kwest mumbles to
himself before
running after them.
"Wait for me!" He yells from behind.
