Hello again, and here I have chapter three of this story, enjoy.
Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Babs Seed continued peddling until they reached the entrance of the mineshaft.
" Alright, made it, hopefully, we'll find him", said Applebloom.
" Hang on a second, Applebloom, during our bike ride, I thought of something, regarding the treasure", said Babs Seed.
" Yeah, what about it", said Applebloom.
" When Twilight and Sunset translated the clue, they written it on a journal, what if someone else before them did the same thing, translate the clue, writing on a journal of their own", said Babs Seed.
" Meaning someone else has got to the treasure before us, meaning if we went in, it'll be completely empty, meaning it'll be pointless wasting our time for nothing, so we can go home", said Sweetie Belle.
" Sorry to disappoint you Sweetie belle, I mean, maybe you're right, maybe somebody did get to the treasure before us, but we can't say for certain, anyway, I'm sure the clue is worth something, an archeologist would find anything over a hundred years old, like the clue, they would put a frame around it and call it art", said Applebloom.
" But if someone did find the treasure, wouldn't it have been announced by now", said Scootaloo.
" I mean, it's possible someone did find it, but kept it to themselves", said Applebloom, " But even so, at least we'll know for certain once we get to the tomb".
And so, the girls took out their flash lights, and one by one, went into the mineshaft.
" So, in his grave, he is likely to be buried inside a coffin, so are we looking for a coffin", said Babs Seed.
" From what I've learned, the natives are usually wrapped in linen, and placed inside the cave to rest in peace, there must be a special burial place for Tokamak, since he's a priest and everything", said Applebloom.
It was then, after 20 minutes of searching, they found a small opening at a wall, which has been barded up with wood planks.
" Okay, we won't be able to fit through the gaps, but, we're going to have to take down those planks if we want to get through", said Applebloom.
" Allow me", said Scootaloo, she gave the planks one swift kick, only to hold her foot, groaning in pain.
" So we can't get through, can we go home now", said Sweetie Belle.
" Hey wait, Sweetie Belle, did you know I have photo's of Rarity posing naked in front of a mirror, you want to buy some", said Babs Seed.
" What", snapped Sweetie Belle.
" They're cheaper than Onlyfans", said Babs Seed.
Sweetie Belle lunged at Babs Seed, only for Babs to move out of the way, and Sweetie Belle went smashing into the planks, breaking them, leaving a gap open for the others to go through.
And so, they began to crawl into the small opening, only to discover some old linen torches.
" I think these things are still in use", said Babs Seed, she took out a match, and was about to light it up, only for a voice to speak out.
" You four are in so much trouble".
The girls turned around to see Applejack glaring at them.
" How did you find us", said Applebloom.
It was then Rarity appeared.
" Of course, she used Sweetie Belle's phone", said Applebloom.
" Sweetie Belle, I'm surprised and disappointed in you", said Rarity.
" I didn't want to do it, it was their idea, they talked me into it", said Sweetie Belle, pointing at the other three.
" Oh yeah, throw us under the bus why don't you", scoffed Babs Seed, sarcastically.
" You guys would've done the same thing", said Sweetie Belle in her defense.
" I don't care who's idea it is, we are all leaving this cave, and heading straight home, come on Applebloom", said Applejack.
" No Applejack", said Applebloom, standing her ground.
" Don't test me Applebloom", growled Applejack, standing forward, only for another person to appear.
" Oh wow, another cave", she said, as she started bouncing around the place.
" You brought Pinkie Pie along", said Scootaloo.
" She and the others and already out, doing a morning walk around town, I bumped into them when I was looking for Rarity", said Applejack.
" Wait, everyone else is here", said Babs Seed.
It was then Twilight entered the cave.
" This looks amazing, if only this place wasn't forbidden, it would've been a great place to do research", she said.
Sunset entered the room next.
" Yeah, shame we couldn't have come in here sooner, I almost got splinters getting through those planks", said Sunset.
" Wait, does that mean Rainbow Dash is here", said Scootaloo.
" Right I am Squirt", said Rainbow Dash, entering the cave, as she winked at her admirer, much to her delight.
And then another girl entered the cave.
" Oh, I hope you girls are okay, none of you are hurt are you", she said softly.
" We're fine Fluttershy, no scratches, or bruises, or anything like that", said Applebloom.
" Okay, that's good to hear", said Fluttershy, blushing a little bit.
And it was then, Spike entered the cave.
" Not my idea of a great place to sleep in, but I'd take this place over a dog kennel any day", said Spike.
" Can we please stay a bit longer Rainbow Dash, only for a few minutes", said Scootaloo.
" Don't ask Rainbow, cause you know she'll say yes", said Applejack.
" Come on Applejack, only a few minutes, I would like to take a look at the place myself, and do a bit of research", said Twilight.
" And I might find a souvenir for Maud", said Pinkie Pie.
Applejack sighed.
" Fine, but only a few minutes, then we're getting out of here, we're not even supposed to be in here, and hand those over", said Applejack, gesturing to the matches Babs Seed was holding.
" Did you guys here the latest update from that car chase Yesterday", said Fluttershy.
" No", said Applejack.
" They gave it out this morning on the radio, the perps were confirmed to be two gorillas", said Fluttershy, " Oh I hope the poor things are alright, they're still out there, especially on that time of the year".
" What do you mean", said Rarity.
" It's mating season, and if the gorillas get isolated for so long, they'll get hostile, agitated, and delirious, they might not even tell the difference between human or monkey", said Fluttershy.
It was then Pinkie Pie was shown, trying to pull something out of a wedge.
" Hey girls, look what I found", said Pinkie Pie.
" What is that", said Sunset.
" It looks like a coffin", said Twilight.
" It might be Priest Tokamaks", said Applebloom.
" Let's see it", said Rainboom.
" I don't think we should", said Fluttershy.
" I agree with Fluttershy, it doesn't sound right, looking at a corpse", said Rarity.
" Oh come on, it's just one quick peek, maybe then we'll found out if it's that Priest guy or not, come on Applejack, help me out", said Rainbow Dash.
" This is a sacred burial ground, we're already disturbing the peace by coming here", said Applejack.
" They've been dead over 400 years ago, it no longer matters", said Rainbow Dash.
And so, Eventually, they pulled out the coffin, and with a crowbar, Rainbow Dash pried it open, expecting a skeleton inside, only to find...
" It's empty", said Rainbow Dash.
" You mean the corpse is gone", said Scootaloo.
" Oh no, what was it's the walking dead, everyone run for you lives", shouted Pinkie Pie.
" It's not the walking dead, Pinkie, quit exaggerating, you're scaring the hell out of half of us", said Sunset.
" The body isn't even gone, technically, it's still in the coffin", said Twilight, pulling out a small urn.
" Tokamak was cremated, and his ashes were placed in this jar", said Sunset.
" So wait, they scorched his body into ashes, and placed it inside a small jar, and then placed that tiny jar in a big coffin big enough to fit and average human in", said Rainbow Dash.
" This is nothing compared to what they do in the Egyptian times, before they mummify and bury someone, they remove some of their organs and place them in jars, and when they mummify the pharaohs, they do the same thing to their servants so they'd serve them in the afterlife", said Pinkie Pie.
It was then Applebloom took the jar from Twilight.
" Applebloom, be careful with that", said Twilight.
" The clue said Priest Tokamak had taken the information about the entrance to the tomb, to his grave, it could be in here", said Applebloom, opening the jar, revealing ashes, a scroll, and a key.
" I get the ashes, but, the other two are pretty unusual", said Twilight.
" The scroll must have the entrance to the tomb written on it", said Applebloom, taking out the scroll.
" And I'm liking the key", said Rarity, pulling out gold key, which has an emerald gem at the handle.
" It must be very important", said Twilight.
" What about the clue", said Scootaloo.
Applebloom then opened it, revealing a set of symbols, just like in last scroll.
" They're the same symbols, the journal", said Applebloom, taking out the journal.
" So it was you who took it, should've figured that out sooner, after discovering you were here", said Twilight.
" Sorry Twilight", said Applebloom.
" Well, would you like to decode the second clue", said Twilight.
" Yes please", said Applebloom.
" Well, the letters and symbols are already in the journal, so if you look through them while going to the scroll, you can...", Twilight couldn't finish, as Applebloom started writing on the journal, converting the symbols on the scroll to letters.
" I can't believe we're doing this", said Applejack.
" Can we at least do this outside, while there's fresh air", said Fluttershy.
" You just don't want to stay here, cause you're creeped out", said Rainbow Dash.
" Well we are in a sacred burial ground, aren't you at least a little creeped out, because I know I'm not the only one", said Fluttershy.
" You're being paranoid", said Rainbow Dash, it was then an eerie sound was heard, causing the girls to look around, all nervous, especially Rainbow Dash, who was also shivering.
" That was probably the wind", said Pinkie Pie.
" I've finished", said Applebloom, holding out the journal.
Sunset took the book, and looked through it.
Well done on solving my first clue, for doing so, you shall know more on where I kept my loot, the way in was where you found me, also take heed on collecting my keys, there are five of them to collect, and unless someone has already taken it, the first one you have found in my jar, but be warned, this is just the beginning, the journey onward, to collecting the rest of the keys, is going to be a even more tougher.
" Wait", said Twilight, looking at the clue, " So not only was the clue regarding the entrance to the tomb is in here, but so is the actual entrance itself".
" That was where we pulled the coffin out", said Rainbow Dash.
Pinkie Pie got down on her knees, and looked into the hole.
" Yep, it's a tunnel", said Pinkie Pie.
" So this is the entrance to Tokamaks tomb", said Applebloom.
" I know what you're thinking Applebloom, but no, not happening, now I allowed you all to be here for a few minutes, and we've been here long enough, we're going home", said Applejack.
" What home, in about 11 hours, there will be no home for us, at least not Sweet Apple Acres", said Applebloom.
" Hey guys, listen", said Pinkie Pie, she then shouted into the cave, " ECHO", and her voice echoed.
" FIGARO", Pinkie Pie sang, and her echo went, " FIGARO, FIGARO, FIGaro, Figaro, Figaro, Feeeeee".
" Hey Sister So", Pinkie Pie sang, and her echo also sang, " Sister So, Sister so, Sister so".
" Kitchie, Kitchie, ya ya, ga ga", sang Pinkie Pie.
" Pinkie, stop", said Twilight, as she stared at Pinkie Pie.
" Awe, you're no fun", said Pinkie Pie, but then, seconds later, she began chanting.
" Badger, badger, badger, badger", and her echo began repeating, " Badger, badger, badger, badger".
" MUSHROOM", sang Pinkie Pie, to which, the echo repeated, " MUSHROOM".
" PINKIE", shouted Twilight, to which her echo went, " PINKIE, PINKIE, PINKie, PInkie, Pinkieee".
Meanwhile, outside the mineshaft, a truck pulled up, and out came Cinch, Spoiled Rich, Flim and Flam.
" I'm not getting my dress ruined in dirt", said Spoiled Rich.
" You should've worn something suitable for hiking, like Cinch is", said Flim.
" And you wanted to join us anyways, so this is on you", said Flam.
" You can always leave the dress if you don't want to get it ruined", said Flim.
" And walk around a dark cave in my underwear, no thank you", said Spoiled Rich.
" Okay then you can always stay in the truck", said Flam.
" No, because I know you'll be making off with everything", said Spoiled Rich.
" Would you like to borrow one of my spares", said Cinch.
" Sure, there's a tree we went past so I can get changed, and you two better not peek, or I'll be really mad", said Spoiled Rich.
Once everyone got out of the truck, Spoiled Rich left the group so she can changed into the clothes Cinch gave her.
" How are we even certain they're in there, we don't even know the entrance to Tokamak's tomb either", said Cinch.
" It's the truck, earlier this morning, we were driving at a convivence store to get a coffee, but then we noticed the truck and kept hidden, we recognized it to be Applejacks", said Flim.
" You mean one of the Canterlot High girls", said Cinch.
" Yes, and we saw through the window, we knew she was in the, we figured she is involved in the treasure hunt, so we planted a tracking device in her truck, and used the GPS to follow her location, and here we are", said Flam.
Eventually, Spoiled Rich returned, changed into a hiking outfit.
" Alright, let's get going", said Spoiled Rich.
" And also be careful, everyone else might be in there as well, and they don't know we're following them", said Cinch.
It was then they heard footsteps, the group huddled up as the saw a shadow of a figure.
" It might just be a cop", whispered Applejack.
It was then they heard a gun shot.
" Or maybe it's someone dangerous", whispered Pinkie Pie.
" If they see us, we're screwed", whispered Rainbow Dash.
" Unless", Applebloom then turned around looking at the small tunnel.
" Don't tell we're actually going in there", said Rarity.
" This is where our journey begins", said Applebloom.
" Applebloom does have a point, that's our only way out, since the other exit is blocked by the gunman, maybe there's another secret exit somewhere on the way to the tunnel", said Sunset.
And so, Applebloom went into the tunnel first, followed by Sunset, Babs, Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.
The other six were more hesitant, but Pinkie Pie went in afterwards, followed by Spike and Applejack.
" I can't believe were in another situation like this again", said Fluttershy, as she, Rarity and Sweetie Belle went into the cave.
" Did you seriously get a gunshot sound effect as a ringtone", said Cinch, looking at Flim.
" It's better than my brothers, his ringtone is nails on a chalkboard", said Flim.
" It doesn't matter what our ringtone is, you should've kept it on silent, now you probably gave us all away", said Spoiled Rich.
The gang all continued walking down the tunnel, at the same time it started getting darker.
" You guys did bring a flashlight with you right", said Sunset, to the girls.
" Of course we did", said Applebloom, " Unfortunately, they take double A batteries, we only have triple A batteries at home, we would've bought double A's, but was caught by Applejack".
" Don't you dare try and blame me", said Applejack, pointing the finger at Applebloom, accusingly.
" I wasn't", said Applebloom.
" We could use our phones, some of us have flashlights on them", said Fluttershy.
" That's it, phones, why didn't I think of that", said Twilight.
" It was just a suggestion, no big deal", said Fluttershy.
" No I mean, we'll call the police, those armed creeps could be following us", said Twilight.
" She does have a point, we are in a difficult situation that we might not be able to get ourselves out of", said Sunset.
" One problem", said Rainbow Dash, " My phone doesn't have any signal".
" Neither does mine", said Pinkie Pie.
" Or mine", said Rarity.
" Oh that's right, we're stuck underneath a giant cave, no wonder we can't get any signal", said Twilight.
" But hey, at least we've got battery power, but without signal, we can't even go in the internet, but at least some of us can still play games that don't require Wi-fi", said Pinkie Pie.
" We can save our phone power until we truly need them, I have Double A batteries", said Rainbow Dash, pulling out a packet, containing eight batteries.
" How long did you have those", said Applejack.
" Since Yesterday, I bought some at the convivence store after school was finished, so I can use them for my TV remote, and controller, these are the only eight I have left", said Rainbow Dash.
" Okay then, each flashlight needs two batteries, and we've got four flashlights, that's perfect", said Twilight.
And so, once they've placed the batteries into the flashlights, they were switched on, and lit up brightly.
" Okay, we'll not use them all at the same time, better to save some power, we'll use two at a time", said Twilight.
Meanwhile, back with Cinch and the others, Flim was going through his phone, looking at other interesting ringtones.
" Now this one got me good, it made it jump first time I heard it", said Flim to his brother, he tapped the button, and the audio began playing a sound effect of machine guns firing.
" Can you two focus please", shouted Spoiled Rich.
Flim and Flam looked at each other, and then they grinned slyly.
Sneakily approaching Spoiled Rich, Flim set his phone to full volume, and as he moved the phone till it was closer to Spoiled Riches ear, he played the sound effect, causing her to scream at the sound of a loud turret firing.
It was then they all heard another gunshot, this time it sounded like machine guns.
" LETS...", shouted Babs Seed.
"...GET OUT...", shouted Fluttershy.
"...OF HERE", shouted Spike.
" RIGHT NOW", shouted Twilight.
And while screaming, all twelve girls ran as far and as fast as they could.
