After finishing classes and the match between Rainbow Dash and Michiru, the group of girls decided to enjoy the rest of the day with ice cream.
Just as they were in front of the ice cream parlor, Sunset started digging around in her pocket.
"Oh, geez. Girls, I'm sorry, but I left my wallet at home. Do you mind if I go get it? It's not too far from here." said Sunset.
"Of course not. You can go if you want to." said Twilight.
"Although I'd advise you to come before they run out of ice cream to sell." said Rainbow Dash.
"Well they have enough ice cream to feed a regiment." said Pinkie Pie looking through the shop window.
"It was just an expression Pinkie Pie." said Nazuna.
"All right, girls. I won't be long." said Sunset before running off.
Meanwhile, the intruder was walking through the streets of the city, trying to go unnoticed among the other people passing by.
"Good thing I had that lotion to hide my scent. I can't let that wolf find me or my plans will be ruined." thought the intruder before looking at the people around. "There are many subjects here, but I must choose carefully if I don't want to be discovered."
Suddenly, a running person bumped into him, causing him to fall to the ground on his butt.
"Hey, watch where you're going?!" exclaimed the intruder looking at the person who pushed him to the ground, who was none other than Sunset.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. Let me help you." said Sunset extending her hand to help him.
"Well, at least you're nice." said the intruder before shaking his hand.
However, the moment he did, Sunset's eyes went white as her powers activated.
Inside his mind, she saw memories of when the intruder snuck into the city hall and then into the Medical Center to then run into Michiru, Shirou and Nazuna, and, finally, meet again in the portal room where he activated it, causing them all to be sucked into a portal.
After that, Sunset's powers went out and she backed up a bit, dropping the intruder to the ground.
"What's wrong with you?" asked the intruder.
"It's you. You're the guy Shirou is chasing." said Sunset pointing at the intruder.
"You know him? Damn. I guess there's no other choice." said the intruder quickly getting up before pulling out a spray can.
Before Sunset could react, the intruder shot the contents of the spray can in her face.
Sunset coughed a little before she began to feel dizzy and drowsy.
"What… have you… done to me?" asked Sunset.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let the others know of my presence." said the intruder before Sunset fell unconscious to the ground, but the intruder grabbed her before she hit the ground. "I'd better leave right away." the intruder said before noticing a car near where he was. "It might do."
Back with the girls, they were still at the entrance of the ice cream shop waiting for their friend, but some of them were starting to get impatient.
"She's taking too long, isn't she?" asked Michiru.
"Maybe she's changing into an outfit suitable for the occasion." said Rarity.
"That's something you would do." said Applejack.
"What if something happened to her?" asked Fluttershy.
"I don't think so. She's tougher than she looks." said Nazuna.
"Still, I'm a little worried." said Twilight.
"I have an idea, but I'll need a costume." said Michiru.
"I have just what you need." said Pinkie Pie before pulling out a curtain, covering the tanuki girl with it and removing it, revealing that Michiru was now in her animated form, but wearing a Japanese costume.
"What the…?! How did you…?!" asked Michiru completely in shock at that. "You know what? Leave it. This will do me." said Michiru before turning her eyes into those of a hawk.
With those eyes, she could see much further than a normal person. She was looking around the surroundings in search of her friend's whereabouts when suddenly she saw something that made her gasp in horror.
"What is it?" asked Spike.
"It's Sunset! She's being kidnapped!" said Michiru, for what she was seeing was the intruder opening a car with an unconscious Sunset beside her.
"What?!" asked the others in unison.
"Oh, no!" said Fluttershy.
"Who's taking her?" asked Pinkie Pie.
"You're not going to believe this, but it's the same guy we were chasing in our world." said Michiru.
"You mean the intruder? What does he want with Sunset?" asked Nazuna.
"That doesn't matter. We have to save our friend." said Rainbow Dash.
"Michiru, take us to where it's happening. Quickly!" said Twilight.
Wasting no time, the group of girls ran off to try to rescue their friend.
However, just as they had them in sight of them the intruder managed to start the stolen car and make off with his prisoner.
"We're too late." said Rarity.
"I'll catch up with him right away." said Rainbow Dash getting ready to run.
"Hold on, Rainbow Dash. We don't even know where he's taking her." said Applejack.
"So what do you suggest we do?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"What will he do to Sunset?" asked Fluttershy.
"I don't know, but we won't let him." said Michiru.
"But how are we going to find them? They could be anywhere." said Twilight.
"I know, what if Michiru uses her wolf sense of smell to track his down. It's just as good as Shirou's." said Pinkie Pie.
"If it was that simple, Shirou would have found him on the first day." said Spike.
"Not the intruder, but Sunset." said Pinkie Pie.
That left the rest of the girls surprised.
"Of course, we can track them through Sunset's scent." said Twilight.
"It's okay to try." said Michiru before turning her face into that of a wolf and sniffing the place with her eyes closed.
In her mind, she could see how the scents took shape, one of them being Sunset's, while the other was the intruder's.
Those shapes made the scene of when the intruder shot Sunset the sleeping gas before stealing the car and running away, leaving Sunset's scent as a trail.
After that, Michiru opened her eyes and returned her face to normal.
"They've gone that way!" said Michiru pointing in one direction.
"You two go ahead. I'll go tell Shirou to help us." said Nazuna.
"Sounds good to me. Come on girls, let's not waste time." said Twilight before she and the others ran off, while Nazuna transformed into her beastman form before causing a pair of wings to sprout from her back and take flight.
Shirou stood on the edge of the roof of a building, watching the streets and all the people passing by, trying to locate the intruder who had somehow managed to outsmart his sense of smell.
"Where the hell could he be?" asked Shirou.
"Shirou!"
Shirou turned around to see Nazuna flying towards him and when she caught up with him, she landed on the roof.
"Something terrible has happened!" said Nazuna.
"What happened?" asked Shirou.
"That guy kidnapped Sunset!" said Nazuna.
"What? How did it happen?" asked Shirou in surprise.
"We don't know, but Michiru and the others are following Sunset's scent to find her." said Nazuna.
"I see. In that case, we should catch up with them as soon as possible." said Shirou before adopting his beastman appearance.
Quickly, the two left the place to meet up with the girls and rescue their friend before something bad happened.
The intruder continued to drive through the streets in the car he had stolen with Sunset unconscious in the back seats.
He kept driving until he came to a fairly secluded area where not many people could be seen around.
"This place is fine." said the intruder before stopping the car and turning to look at the unconscious girl. "If you really know that wolf, then he'll be using your scent to get here. So it looks like you'll have to be the subject I needed for my experiment" said the intruder pulling out the syringe containing the green liquid. "Don't worry, it won't be painful. At least, that's what I think."
Some time had passed, and the girls had traveled half the way that the intruder took in his car.
Rainbow Dash thought about going ahead, but it was Michiru who knew the way, so she had to keep up with the others.
Just as they rounded a corner, they ran into Shirou and Nazuna.
"Shirou!" exclaimed Michiru in surprise.
"Where is Sunset?" asked Shirou.
"We don't know, but according to Michiru, her trail follows that way." said Rarity.
"Then let's head that way." said Shirou.
"I hope we run into that mystery guy, because I want to beat him up for taking our friend." said Rainbow Dash pounding her fist with her palm.
"That won't be necessary, because I'll take care of him." said Shirou with a deep tone.
"Yeah, I think it would be better to leave it to him." said Pinkie Pie backing away a little.
After the reunion, the group continued on their way to where their friend was.
A while later, they finally reached the area where the intruder stopped the car and quickly, they were able to find it.
"There!" said Michiru pointing to the car.
Immediately, they all went to the car to find the intruder and their friend.
Fortunately, and to everyone's relief, they found Sunset asleep in the back seats, but there was no trace of the intruder.
Shirou tried to locate him with the scent he left on the driver's seat, but found nothing.
"Damn. He's camouflaged his scent again." said Shirou.
"Then he's escaped. Coward!" said Rainbow Dash.
"That doesn't matter now." said Rarity.
"She's right. What matters now is that our friend is okay." said Fluttershy.
Just then, Sunset started moaning as she was sitting up.
"W-what happened?" asked Sunset.
"Sunset!" exclaimed Twilight rushing over to hug the reddish-haired girl. "Thank goodness you're okay. We were so worried."
"What? What did you…?" asked Sunset before her eyes widened like saucers as recent memories came flooding back to her. "Michiru, the guy you were chasing! He was...!"
"We know. I could see him kidnapping you." said Michiru.
"So we followed your scent to find you." said Nazuna.
"What exactly happened?" asked Twilight breaking away from the embrace.
"All I remember is that on my way home, I bumped into someone and when I helped him up, my powers activated, and I saw his memories of when he met Shirou and the others. When I saw who he really was, he sprayed me with something that left me very exhausted and the next thing I remember is waking up here." said Sunset.
"He probably didn't want you to announce to us that you saw him." said Spike.
"But that doesn't make sense. If he didn't want her to alert you to his presence, why would he let her go free?" asked Pinkie Pie. "I mean, it's the basic bad guy thing to get rid of witnesses."
"G-get rid of?" asked Fluttershy with slight trepidation.
"Tell me, Sunset. You sense something strange about you. He could have done something to you while you were unconscious." said Shirou.
Sunset checked her body for any wounds or anything like that, but found nothing.
"No. I don't feel anything weird or look any different." said Sunset.
"This is all very strange." said Michiru.
"Yeah, first he kidnaps Sunset and then just leaves her lying around like nothing. It's not a very usual thing." said Rarity.
"No use thinking that now. The important thing is that you're okay." said Nazuna.
"Right." said Sunset before getting out of the car. "There's still some day left, are we still on for ice cream?"
"After everything that happened today, I deserve a three-scoop ice cream." said Michiru.
"Well then I'll have a six-ball." said Pinkie Pie to the amusement of the others.
However, while the girls were happy to be together and be able to enjoy what was left of the day, Shirou kept thinking about everything that had happened so far.
"What is he really planning?" asked Shirou in his mind regarding the intruder's actions.
Unbeknownst to anyone, not even Shirou, the intruder was half a distance away from them, peeking behind a corner so he could see them.
"Enjoy yourselves as much as you want, because very soon, things will change." the intruder said before stealthily walking away.
