Ookami Hitokage: Mmmm. 'Nother Jak & Daxter oneshot. Well, drabble. I love writing these. Probably cause I've started re-playing Jak II just a few days ago. x3 Also, each of the drabbles – kudos to who can guess which drabble is for Jak, and which is for Errol…although it's probably obvious – is exactly one hundred words. Seriously, check. xD

His Mechanic, His Kryptonite
By Ookami Hitokage
She was his mechanic, wasn't she?! That automatically gave him more rights to her. Didn't it? And what did she see in that freak, anyway? Was she insane? Why, how, could she like – love? – the dark-eco freak more than him?! It was impossible; unethical, even. He was far better in more ways than one. And the dark-eco freak was dangerous! Couldn't she see that?! His mechanic, his rights. It made much more sense to him that way. Who cared if the dark-eco freak was a lifelong friend?! He was dangerous. And Keira couldn't be in danger. It was…unethical. Strange. Abnormal.
She was his kryptonite. She was the most beautiful person in the whole wide world, and the one thing he cared about. She had to be safe at all costs – from the racer, from the baron. They were all dangers to her in the cold, hard world, and he wanted to be the one to protect her from them. She deserved better than the damn racer, who was a danger even to himself. He knew that he could hurt her, easily – lose control. But he always managed to brush the dark thoughts aside at the sight of her happy face.
