This story is a sequel, of sorts, to "Paths" by "Phoenix Tears55". That story is one of my all-time favorites and should be read before this one, so that you have the background context. After reading that story you will probably think 'this doesn't need a sequel', and I agree. But that story does leave a large time gap between the last chapter and the Epilogue; including Clark's return home and his reunion with his mother Martha Kent, and his love Lana Lang. (Thus, this is a clana story) Filling that gap is the primary goal of this sequel. But I will add more. More details of what Clark might have done on his tour to learn as much as he can about humanity. And the beginning of his life together with Lana. If you are someone who prefers not to deviate this far from the Clark/Superman canon, then this story is not for you. There are several tons of canon out there.
