Hello and welcome to the watching of A Shinobi's Legacy Continues. the story caught a lot of attention real quick, been trying to give time to my writing but things for me have gotten busy and i'm a bit of perfectionist so I tend to make constant changes to how I've written things out. I hope you all can forgive the delay and take some enjoyment to an early installment of the watching of 'A Shinobi's Legacy Continues'.

(edited)

After the mishap of being turned into senior citizombies, along with most of the entire world, by the reawakened evil adult super villain Grandfather, the reawakening of Numbuh Zero, the rediscovery of The Book of KND, the destruction of Kids Next Door moonbase, and finally, the decommissioning of both Numbuh Zero and Grandfather, which ultimately led to the saving of all those affected by these turns of events.

The current and only important mission for all KND operatives, at the moment, was the reconstruction of the entire moonbase. A reconstruction project that was finally about done. The only thing slowing the completion of this project now was of an outsiders interference for a current unknown purpose. How was this being done? A simple mind suggestion to build a grand large viewing auditorium.

"Numbuh 1, the reconstruction is nearing completion, but it's behind schedule. Numbuh 362 had ordered for all the department heads, sector leaders, all the 2x4 technicians, all KND scientists, and all mechanics of the entire KND to report for a mandatory meeting to find a solution to fix this while the rest of the operatives continue rebuilding."

Numbuh 1, aka Nigel Uno, nods in understanding as he replies, "Thank you for the update, Numbuh 65.3. I'll report in immediately." Numbuh 1 then ends the video feed on the monitor. "Ugh. What could possibly be happening now?" He says to himself.

As far as he knows, except for any known factors, everyone should be currently working on their given tasks. Whoever was slacking off, or whatever was causing the delay, was soon going to be dealt with.

As Numbuh 1 walks and navigates around the scattered construction of the new moonbase, a light shines from the moonbase's gigantic TV room. Curiosity getting the better of him, he decides to investigate.

Upon entering the room, Numbuh 1 spots one of his best friends, his sector's technician and best pilot, Numbuh 2, who was currently crouched down and fiddling around, making and adding changes to the controls and operations stand.

"Huh? What's Numbuh 2 doing here?" He ponders to himself before walking in.

"Phew, It's finally finished! Now for a test run," Numbuh 2 said to no one in particular as he gets up from his position, coming face to face with his sector leader, which made him jump back in alarm from being caught off guard.

"Numbuh 2, what are you doing here?" Numbuh 1 asked curiously.

"Oh hey, it's just Numbuh 1," Numbuh 2 said with a sigh of relief before answering his sector leader's question. "I'm just finishing up on an experiment."

"Experiment? What experiment?" The curious Brit asks. Numbuh 2's new inventions were always a sight to behold.

"Well, it's a side project that I've been planning for some time now. It's called the Multiverse screen," Numbuh 2 answers.

"Multiverse screen? What's it for?"

"I had thought of it after that incident with the Negaverse. I thought to myself that if there's a universe that's parallel to ours, then there could possibly be more if there was more than just one. It was only in the planning stages and I was going to wait until we get home, but something in my head was telling me that I should build it now, and so I did." He explained before examining his device, looking at it thoughtfully. "Although, I would like to test it first before I-."

"There ya two idjits are!"

Numbuh 2 stops mid sentence when he and Numbuh 1 freeze at that very familiar voice. Shakingly, they turned towards the entrance way and they were immediately greeted by the presence of the current Supreme Leader, Numbuh 362, aka Rachel McKenzie, and Head of the Decommissioning, Numbuh 86, aka Fanny Fulbright.

"What are ya two doing lazin around for! You were supposed to report in the meeting area decades ago!" Numbuh 86 yells in her iconic Scottish accent.

Her yelling drew in both the scared and curious nearby operatives, along with the other operatives from the meeting company, to gather into the gigantic TV room. Numbuh 86 would have continued her ranting and chewing out of the two operatives had Numbuh 362 not decided to step in.

"That's enough, Fanny. They get the idea," she ordered her to stop, to which the redhead complied. The Supreme Leader turned to the two operatives in question. "Seriously though, why you two what are you doing and what is this?" Rachel asked, gesturing to Numbuh 2's side project.

From there, Number 2 once again explained his project and the reasoning behind it. Needless to say, Numbuh 2's invention intrigues many of his fellow operatives, but none more than the high chain of command as well as his fellow scientist and engineers.

Number 362 was the first to break the silence as she asked the question that was on all the operatives' minds.

"That's quite the device, Number 2, but does it even work?" She was quite skeptical about this. She has read about the Negaverse incident that Sector V was pulled into, although while she sees opening up a portal to another universe possible, but a device that views through the multiverse? That sounds so impossible that it was downright science fiction

"Well it should be able to work, but the problem is that I haven't tested it yet plus we need a lot of power to get it running, and right now we don't have a moonbase running at full capacity so I don't know if it will operate." Numbuh 2 says, feeling nervous and unsure with all the attention that was now on him.

Numbuh 362 moved to speak further, but suddenly and without warning, a bright flash of light filled the auditorium that blighted every present operative. As quick as it appeared, the light vanished, but to the shock and horror of the entire KND, all of their enemies, both adults and teen villains alike stood in the now crowded room. They were dazed and confused, but not for long.

Both sides, KND and enemies alike, stood silent for a second before pulling out their weapons and aiming at their opposing side.

"What's going on here!?"

"How did you all get in here!?"

"Drop your weapons and surrender you brats!"

"Why don't you make us adults!"

Tension and aggression escalated quickly but before a single attack was fired...

"That's enough."

...a single old voice rang throughout the entire moon base. It was not a shout or even a demand, it was merely two words spoken sternly with great authority yet with a calm nature behind it that seemed to echo in everyone's ears, catching the attention of all within the KND HQ.

"Who said that?" One of the Teen Ninjas' top field ops, Cree Lincoln, inquire while looking all around her, noting everyone else, adults and kids included, were doing the same.

"I did, young ones. Look above."

All did so looking up before gasping at what they saw. There, floating above them all, was a tall and pale-skinned man with deep wrinkles and a strong jawline, spiky shoulder-length pale brown hair with a chin-length braided lock hanging in front of his left ear. He also sported a goatee, but the most striking physical features were the pair of horns extending from either side of his forehead, pupil less white eyes, and a third red eye containing multiple rings and coma-like markings in the center of his forehead. His attire consists of a white full-length kimono with a pattern of six black magatamas around a high collar and a necklace which was also made up of six black magatamas.

"Who and what are you?" The adult villain leader, Father, questioned while taking one step forward. At first, he wondered if he was a new upcoming ally for his empire but the man's appearance made him question if he was even human. Sure there were some villains with less than normal human appearances, but this guy was on another level altogether seeing as the horns, and what appeared to be a third eye, were obviously not some decoration as far as he could tell.

"More importantly, how did you and all of our enemies get into my moonbase!?" Numbuh 362 half-asked-half-demanded while she too took a step forward to stand in front of her fellow KND members.

"Please calm yourselves, my name is Hagoromo. I have brought all of you here together so to save time and accomplish the task I had set out to do. My purpose here is to accomplish two tasks, the first is to warn and prepare you all as much as possible for a future crisis that is on the rise."

Hagoromo looks to the crowd, he sees less than half were at a loss for words while many of the others, mainly the children of the crowd, were in various states from panic, shocked to being silent, to outbursts of outrage. To his credit, Hagoromo, who has been around as a spirit wandering many plains of time and space for well over 7 millennia, remained patient and composed, completely unaffected by the loud reaction of the crowd below.

After a few minutes with seemingly no end in sight, Hagoromo let out a brief vexed sigh. Deciding to move things along, Hagoromo channeled the tinniest bit of his chakra to his vocals. "Enough."

With that one word, all stopped at once as the feeling of great authority radiated off the being floating above them all again. As they fell silent, many felt uneasy at the effect this man had over them. Not just kids but also the adults too!

After a minute of silence amongst the crowd, Cree Lincoln summoned the courage to speak.

"You said you came to accomplish two things, the first being to prepare us for a future threat, what's the second and how do you plan on helping us prepare, sir?" Cree was being careful to show the man respect after his demonstration of the authority he possessed.

"To help you all get a better idea of the threat to come, I plan to show you all an alternative timeline that is closely tied to yours with only a few minor changes. To do this, I used one of my abilities to give a subliminal message to the young man there," Hagoromo points his staff towards Numbuh 2, "to build this device in this room here," Hagoromo explained gesturing towards the Multiverse screen.

"You were the voice in my head?!" Number 2 exclaimed, gripping his aviator hat and feeling scared that an adult had the ability to manipulate his mind to any degree.

Numbuh 2 was not the only one to feel this way, the feeling of concern from having one's mind manipulated was shared by all members of the KND. They also dreaded what other powers this man possesses.

Hagoromo saw this and understood the worry these warrior children had. "Be at ease, children. I don't care for conflict. Nor do hold any ill intent."

This did little to lift their worries, but they relaxed slightly.

"As for my second goal, I've come to train my direct descendants to unlock and connect with the hidden power that they inherited, which has existed from a time that has long since passed. So that they may be better able to protect the world from the horrors to come," Hagoromo explained while he scanned the crowd, feeling out the strongest chakra signature in search of one of his descendants that he had brought here.

Soon enough, he found them and locked his gaze with them as they stood in the center of the many teens as they spoke up for the first time since their arrival. A young man standing at 5 foot and 6 inches tall with a strong physic build, blond hair, and dark grey eyes.

"Who might these supposed protectors even be?" He asked.

"They would be you, Chad Dickson. Both you and your younger brother." Hagaromo answered, shocking the newly revealed savior while he watched as many reacted to this news and murmurs started to go all around.

"Does that mean Chad is an alien?" Kids and teens alike wondered.

"The nerds and sci-fi geeks are going to flip over this," One teen said to another.

"I didn't know he even had a little brother, did you?" Another group of teens questioned

One teen by the name of Chuckie Cavallaro, a friend of Chad's and fellow football player, approached the shocked silent teen.

"Yo Chad dude, I thought you said you were an only child, how come you never mentioned having a younger brother before?"

Chad recovered from the shock, shaking his head in denial before responding, "I don't. I don't have a brother, I never had one! Just ask my parents if I did have any siblings I would know."

The mentioned married couple cringes, which did not go unnoticed by Cree Lincoln. With her curiosity piqued, Cree spoke up.

"Mr. and Mrs. Dickson, do you know what this stranger might be talking about?" She asked, bringing everyone's attention to them.

Chad looks to his parents and he, too, notes their odd behavior. "Mom? Dad?"

His parents do not respond immediately. Instead, they look at each other for a few seconds as if in silent conversation. When they broke off eye contact, Chad's father, Jacob Dickson, was the first of the two to break the silence.

"Chad... son... there's actually something your mother and I have been meaning to tell you." Mr. Dickson confessed as his wife opened up her bag and pulled out two folded document papers. What happens next would turn Chad's whole world upside down.
