Chapter 2...
"Could you remove your mask so we could fight on equal grounds?" Erza asked while getting into her stance and Naruto stretched his stiff joints out.
"Can you remove the cloth that conceals your breasts?" Naruto asked nonchalantly and Erza blushed before smirking.
"Very well." Erza removed the cloth that hid her breasts, and they bounced a lot. Naruto visibly stiffened before sighing. The male spectators looked away.
"You don't have to do that." Naruto said before removing his mask and throwing it to the side. Erza's cheeks had a pink shade to them as did most of the female guild members.
"You're quite handsome." Erza complimented and Naruto remained stoic and watched Erza retrieve the cloth that binned her breasts.
"You have beautiful hair." Naruto replied with a compliment and Erza's cheeks grew redder much to her confusion.
'Why am I feeling so hot?' Erza wondered; she knew people that commented on her beauty, but Naruto's compliment hit her differently; she only felt this way to Jellal.
"Are you ready to begin?" Naruto asked, snapping out of her stupor she nodded, and Naruto pulled out a small fire work before snapping his fingers, igniting the fuse before throwing it in the middle between him and Erza.
Naruto spread his legs wider and held his sword reverse grip while holding it behind him, his other hand was in the ram hand sign and entered sage mode with a bit of Kurama's chakra infused into it. (Zabuza's stance when he appeared in the diamond formation team 7 used in the wave arc)
POP!
Naruto's eyes open and he hurls the huge blade in Erza's direction, spinning at a fast pace. Erza slid under the huge blade and swung her blade to her opponent, but he used his chain covered wrist to block the strike.
'Fast reflexes.' Erza praised and heard a whistling noise coming from her left side. Using her peripheral vision to look to the left, she saw the sword Naruto had thrown earlier soaring straight to her with impressive speed.
She broke the clash and jumped back as Naruto caught his weapon out of midair. He switched hands while holding the sword and untangled his chain from his wrist and started spinning the blade while holding the chain as support for the heavy blade.
Spectators
"He has a lot of confidence in his skill with a sword." Gray commented and Gildarts Clive decided to answer him.
"And for good reasons too." Gildarts said and the guild members looked at him.
"What's the reason?" Kinana asked because they hadn't seen him with a sword.
"The grace and finesse he has with his blade is perfect, through years of craftsmanship." Gildarts explained and watched the fight with unwavering eyes.
Back with the fight
Naruto threw his sword again to the scarlet beauty who dodged, forcing him to retract his sword with the chain attached to the hilt.
"Are you going to continue to hurl that sword at me or are we going to clash?!" Erza grunted as she dodged the sword for what felt like the hundredth time.
"Ok." Naruto said before disappearing from her sights and came at her with an overhead strike from behind which Erza weaved out the way of and countered with a neck slash to Naruto who caught the blade between his teeth.
This brought an astonished look to Erza and the spectators faces.
"How stupid." Erza commented and tried pulling her sword out of the Namikaze's mouth, but it would not budge since he was adding chakra to his teeth.
"Sorry Scarlet-san, but I win." Naruto growled out before crushing the sword between his teeth and spitting the shards of steel at Erza's face who jumped back. "Titanium metal, fitting for someone whose name is Titania." Naruto complimented the metal of her swords.
"How do you know what my weapons are made of?!" Titania demanded while summoning another sword.
"Let's say I have good taste." Naruto said while spitting out the remainder of sharps on the ground. "Ready to continue?" Naruto asked seriously and got into his stance.
"Of course." Erza smirked and both disappeared in a burst of speed and met in the middle of the field, Naruto blocked the blade and struggled for a second due to Titania's insane strength.
"You're pretty strong." Naruto complimented the redhead who was equally struggling.
"As are you." Erza smirked at their equal tussle but her smirk dropped when she felt herself slipping.
"But I'm stronger." Naruto pushed Erza off him and launched his sword at her retreating form, so distracted with the sword Erza didn't notice Naruto behind her.
Requip
Erza requip into her Adamantine Shield armor and blocked the huge sword but feels a drilling sensation on her armor from behind.
Rasengan
Naruto announced before the blue sphere broke through her armor and destroyed it, leaving a spiral wound on her lower back. Erza grunted in pain as she was blasted away with lots of force.
Naruto watched on impassively as a light shined from the smokescreen Erza and his attack created before he was blown away from a kick some landed from behind.
"This is my Flight Armor it increases my speed." Erza explained and Naruto performed a cartwheel and landed on a knee.
"It is an impressive display of magic prowess. But I will win this spar." Naruto said before running at Erza and kicking her into a tree and landed a punch to her gut and an uppercut to her chin before he punched the tree behind her since she dodged his strike and kneed his gut and headbutted him before kicking him away.
Naruto flexed his wrist and sword came back in his hand, Erza twirled her swords and ran forward to clash blades. They struggled to press the other away, but Naruto smirked.
"Why is he smirking?" Lucy asked and everyone wondered the same.
Naruto leaned in and connected his lips with Erza's soft ones, Erza and everyone were shell shocked, but they were more shocked when she briefly kissed him back and closed her eyes. Erza was stunned by herself when she kissed this handsome man back and moaned into the taller male's mouth.
Everyone's eyes bulged out when they saw Erza lowering her swords and dropping them completely, she grasped Naruto's cheek, and he broke the kiss when Erza touched his cheek.
Erza's eyes snapped open when Naruto had his sword at her throat.
"Surrender." Naruto ordered and Erza tried to requip but felt Naruto's sword at her throat, drawing a bit of blood. "I won't ask again." He said and Erza closed her eyes begrudgingly.
"I-I surrender." Erza ground out, Naruto sealed his sword away hearing his "victory" and Erza punched him in the face, harshly knocking him to the grass.
"You bastard! You stole my first kiss!" She stated angrily with a red face as she straddled him and began throwing blow after blow to his face, but he dodged all of them.
"Oh my." Mirajane said with a pink hue on her cheeks when she saw the change of positions, from their perspective it looked like Erza was bouncing on Naruto's lap with his hands on her chest. Happy pulled out a photographer and took a picture of the scene before him.
Naruto dodged left and right with his hands on Erza's shoulders, trying to push her off him.
"Stay still already!" Erza shouted and grabbed his neck to keep him still, Naruto caught her punch with a smile.
"Don't tell me it's all my fault, you kissed me back ya know." Naruto joked and nearly laughed when Erza's face grew a shade darker than her hair.
"I'll kill you!" She shrieked before clubbing him in the face with the back of her hand. Naruto felt blood trickle down his nose but kept that smile.
"You're not a bad kisser either." Naruto said before using Substitution on Gildarts who got socked in the face by the angry redhead who turned confused when she noticed Naruto was not underneath her or in her sights, she even looked to where his clothes were and saw them missing.
"Where did he go?!" Erza asked and looked to the spot Gildarts was and saw Naruto gone.
"Naruto-kun left to the guild hall." Kinana said while pointing to the guild. Standing up, Erza requip into her regular clothes and marches into the guild comically.
"Woah, that fight was awesome." Lucy admonished the awesome fight with everyone agreeing.
Erza
Erza saw Naruto sitting at the bar drinking sake with Cana and Gildarts who was unharmed from her punch.
'They were just outside?' Erza thought.
"So, Naruto, what was it like kissing Fairy Tail's Titania?!" Cana asked with a hiccup at the end, Erza quickly hid behind a pillar that kept the second floor for S rank mages standing.
"It...it felt nice. Soft and gentle yet firm and strong." Naruto said while downing another sake cup, this brought a smile Erza's face but the smile then turned into a frown of anger.
"Ngaw, our little Naru-chan is becoming a man!" Gildarts chanted and wrapped an arm around Naruto's shoulder with Cana doing the same with his other shoulder.
"I don't even know you guys? And I am already a man. Thank you very much." Naruto said gruffly and pulled Cana and Gildarts arms off him, and they dropped comically.
Naruto cracked his neck before turning around to see Erza in front of him.
"Sleep spell?" Erza asked and Naruto shook his head.
"Nah, they just drank too much." Naruto and Erza bit back a small laugh.
"Why did you kiss me?" Erza demanded; she wanted to save her first kiss for someone she loved, not someone she just met, even if that someone was really attractive.
"Why did you kiss me back?" Naruto asked while emptying the contents of his last sake cup down his throat and grabbing his poncho.
"Answer me." Erza demanded angrily and Naruto sighed.
"To win a battle with someone, I'll gladly kiss them." Naruto explained and Erza smirked.
"Even if I were a man?" Erza asked and Naruto chuckled softly.
"Maybe not a man." Naruto said before walking away from their conversation. "See ya later." Naruto went to leave but Erza clasped his hand.
"You know you owe me, right?" Erza said and Naruto stared at her.
"For what?" He asked and she smirked.
"You owe me for stealing my first kiss." Naruto's expression dropped into confusion.
"Really? Would you rather kiss a guy who didn't know what he was doing or kiss me?" Naruto asked and Erza thought about it.
"I'd go for the first one." Erza answered and Naruto smirked.
"Welp Red, you got what you wanted." Naruto said and pulled his hand out of her grasp.
"Wait, that was your first kiss too?" Titania asked and The Fairy King looked back.
"Second, I accidentally kissed my teammate when we were kids." Naruto said; for some reason Erza felt jealous of his teammate, she should have asked for her name if it was a "her" that is. Erza moved in front of him.
"You still owe me!" Erza stated in a demanding tone.
"I don't owe you anything." Naruto countered with a challenging tone while taking a step forward.
"Oh yes you do." Erza argued and stepped closer and looked up to the blonde who looked down at her smaller form.
"And if I was going to give you something, why should I?" Naruto asked and leaned down to Erza level, their noses touching briefly, Erza turned around for a second before requipping into a dog armor.
"Please~ Naruto-kun~" Erza gave him the cutest face he'd ever seen; she had sparkles in her eyes and her lip started quivering with a sniffle every now and then, she covered her mouth with her paws in vulnerable fashion.
'Resist! Resist the face! You have seen it before!' Naruto screamed in his mind.
'You created the blasted face!' Kurama shouted in his container's thoughts and Naruto opened his eyes and saw Erza's eyes had grown larger and he saw his reflection.
'I know that, but I'm in Earth land, I'm no longer the creater of the Ninja art: Puppy eye's jutsu!' Naruto thought.
Naruto turned away from the puppy eyes and Naruto walked to the entrance of the guild. Erza visibly deflated. "Name your price." Naruto said and Erza brightened up, and requip back into her regular clothes. She leaned up and whispered into his ear before moving back down with a grin. Naruto handed her a piece of paper before walking out of the guild.
Naruto
Naruto was on a path that led to his hotel where he stayed to get his belongings for his new house he built over the years and recently completed. Arriving at his destination, Naruto saw Lucy Heartfilia sitting outside her home.
"You're the rookie, right?" Naruto snapped Lucy out of her train-of-thought and she looked up surprised.
"Naruto! W-what are you doing here?" Lucy asked, surprised at seeing her fellow blonde.
"I'm here to pack my stuff and move into my new house I built a few months ago." Naruto said and Lucy's eyes bugged out of their sockets.
"What?!" Lucy asked and Naruto nodded.
"Mhm, why are you here?" The taller blonde asked, and Lucy lowered her head.
"Since I haven't paid rent in seven years and the landlady kicked me out of my apartment." Lucy explained sadly and her celestial spirit Plue comforted her.
"How much do you need?" The sun-kissed blonde asked curiously, maybe he could help her.
"5,880,000 jewel." Lucy visibly deflated.
'Fuck that!' Naruto shouted in his head.
'Agreed.' Kurama said in his mind.
"Welp, I can't help you with your money problem, but I might be able to help you with a place to stay." Naruto said and Lucy brightened up.
"Really?!" Lucy asked and Naruto nodded.
"Stay out here while I get my stuff." Naruto said before walking inside the apartment complex. "Hey fatass!" Naruto shouted to the landlord.
"Hey dickwad!" Lucy's eyes grew to the size of saucers.
'How can he talk to the landlady like that?!' Lucy inwardly screamed.
2 minutes later
Naruto came walking out with the property owner, and she gave him a big hug.
"Oh... come visit soon and enjoy that house of yours." The old landlord woman said and broke the hug.
"You got it stink breath." Naruto said and left with Lucy in tow. After they were away Lucy looked at her fellow blonde incredulously.
"Naruto, how do you get away with talking to the landlady like that?" Lucy asked.
"It's because you treat her like the landlady when she is a person like you. She doesn't like being treated as the landlady but a person needing some love." Naruto explained and Lucy stared ahead contemplating her relationship with her landlord.
"I guess I never thought of that." Lucy said and Naruto nodded.
"Everyone doesn't think of it in that manner. They're too scared about being kicked out that they forget that she's still a woman with a life." Naruto explained.
"Ok, I'll try be better." Lucy proclaimed and Plue yipped in agreement.
"Good."
"Naruto, where will I be staying?" Lucy asked after a moment of approaching this question.
"You'll be staying with me of course." Naruto dropped the bombshell on her suddenly. Getting the wrong idea, Lucy pointed at Naruto accusingly.
"Y-you just took me to defile me!" Lucy accused Naruto who stopped in his tracks before tripping Lucy off her feet and kept her up by the neck band of her pink shirt.
"Don't get the wrong idea girl. I may be lots of things, but a rapist is far from one of them. Do not get the wrong idea." Naruto said and his eyes became red hues.
"Y-yes sir!" Lucy yelled and Naruto dropped her on her butt.
"Drop the 'sir,' just like I dropped you on your ass. Now let us go." Naruto said and picked up the pace in his walking.
"Ummm, could you maybe consider a few of my friends to stay with you?" Lucy asked the blonde who looked to the sky, thinking of the prospect of having Lucy's friends over.
"I don't see why not." Naruto said and gave Lucy a piece of paper. "Here is the location and don't bring spare clothes or sleeping bags for any of your friends and don't be late or I'm locking you outside." Naruto said before disappeared in a Water style: Water body flicker.
Naruto – one hour later
Naruto was setting up spots for Lucy's friends and Erza who had not arrived yet. Naruto saw Lucy's face and knew she was going to bring a few more than he expected.
Naruto's head snapped up and looked to the door when he felt a few people enter his Genjutsu, the only one he was capable of casting. Walking to the door Naruto opens it and sees half the guild that lost their homes, give a few since they had houses of their own.
Erza POV
Erza walked to the location Naruto gave her and waited, because all she saw was an empty field with a beautiful waterfall far off the side. After a few minutes of waiting, she saw most of her friends that had lost their apartments standing there with a nervous chuckle.
"Why are you guys here?" Erza asked Lucy who was in the front of the group.
"Naruto offered me a place to stay, and I ask if I could bring some friends and he said didn't mind." Lucy explained and Lisanna stepped forward to the red haired mage.
"Why are you here Erza-chan?" Lisanna asked confusedly and Erza smiled at the transformation mage.
"Naruto offered me a place to stay as payment for stealing something from me." Erza said smirking and Mirajane sent her best friend a knowing smile,
"Oh~ Like that kiss? You did seem to enjoy it." Mirajane teased with a giggle at the end and a smile on her gorgeous face as she pulled out a copy of the photo Happy took. Erza blushed an atomic red and began sputtering incoherent words.
"T-that's not what it looks like!" Erza stated with a blush and caused a crowd of laughter from her friends; she snatched the photo from Mirajane's hand.
"May I see the picture?" A curious voice asked from in front of the large group, the group looked to the source of that voice and saw Naruto standing in the doorway in the middle of nowhere.
"HOW THE HELL IS HE DOING THAT?!" Lucy and Levy asked with baffled expressions, the guildmates weren't much the wiser.
Naruto stepped out of the doorway and walked to Erza to see the picture of them. "May I see?" Naruto asked and Erza gave him the photo with an angry red face. This brought a small blush, but you cannot see it due to his mask.
"This... this is your fault." Naruto gave the photo back to Erza who stopped momentarily before pushing Naruto up against a tree.
"How is this my fault?!" The red haired mage asked with her hands on his collar.
"It just is." Naruto said and leaned down into her ear. "Imagine the position we're in and how it looks from others perspective." Naruto whispered and Erza blushed before letting go and walked a couple metres back.
Snap!
They looked to the culprit of that sound and saw Mirajane waving a photo with a small teasing smile.
"My, my Erza-chan. You seem to like pressing up against Naruto-kun a lot." Mirajane teased the red haired requip mage and a little a bit of Naruto.
"Ok people, let's go inside." Naruto said and walked through the doorway in his house that could not be seen on the outside, but on the inside is a whole different story. Stepping foot inside everyone saw sleeping bags with snacks at the front of the room if anyone gets hungry.
"Woah! This house is huge!" Lucy exclaimed and Elfman interjected.
"It's like a real man!" Naruto stared at the white-haired brute strangely.
"I don't know what that means." Naruto said. Carla looked around the display with a critical eye and turned to the owner of this house.
"Excuse me but I noticed there's no personal space between females and males." Carla said and Naruto looked at the exceed.
"Your point?" Carla's face dropped.
"You're just going to let all of us sleep together in one room?!" Carla asked and Naruto shrugged his shoulders.
"That was the plan." Naruto said, Erza took this opportunity to reason with Carla.
"Carla, look at it this way; we can use this as a bonding exercise." Erza said and the group agreed while Naruto was at the stove cooking.
"Naruto." Erza spoke in an irritated tone.
"Yup." Naruto looked back to see Erza looking at him expectantly. "What?" Naruto asked and Erza sighed.
"Do you have any games for us to play and bond together?" Erza asked.
"Do you think I'll have any games?" Naruto asked Erza who looked at him curiously. "Bottom drawer under the tv." Naruto pointed out and went back to marinating the chicken he was cooking whilst a clone was cooking rice.
Erza smiled and went to that specific drawer and opened it only to see.
"My god..." Erza opened the drawer and saw photos of Naruto when he was a Genin and Chunin. Naruto was on the shoulders of Jiraiya who was smiling brightly. 'cute' Erza thought with a smile and faced Naruto.
"Naruto, is this you?!" Erza held the photo up with a smile of her features, Naruto turned to see what the commotion was, his expression changed from one of indifference to anger.
In an instant Naruto appeared in front of Erza with his hand at her throat with a pissed expression and wisps of red chakra came from him.
"Don't ever touch or even look at those photos!" Naruto ordered and a furry appendage clasps his wrist.
"Now, now kit. You know she didn't know not to go through your private stuff." Kurama spoke with a bored expression and tightened his grip on his container's wrist. "Now drop her." Kurama tightened his grip more tightly and Naruto dropped the redhead.
"Tch." Naruto grunted before placing a seal on the drawer that contained those photos. He walked back to the stove and resumed cooking, completely forgetting to take the photo of him and Ero-sannin.
Kurama walked up to the shocked bunch, more importantly Erza and licked her face affectionately.
"Don't mind him Red, he's just an angry person at the moment." Kurama said and Erza looked at Naruto's back.
"Why doesn't he want people touching those photos?" Erza asked and Kurama stared at his friend with a melancholy expression.
"Let's say he was banished from his home so to speak. Those are the only photos he has of his old home" Kurama explained and handed Erza a few more photos of him and his friends. "Don't tell Naruto, I don't want to go back in my cage." Kurama winked before curling up into a small ball and Erza patted his head affectionately; well, she didn't know where his head was since he was curled up into a ball.
"Who are you anyway?" Levy asked from a sleeping bag she claimed as her own, which was suspiciously next to Gajeel's. Their call didn't get through this orange foxes fur. Erza felt kind of bad that she went through Naruto's stuff; she'll have to apologize but she will do it when they're alone so there won't be any disruptions.
Naruto created five clones to set the large table that had enough room for six large plates of chicken, 40 burgers stacked on top of each other and other delectables.
"Food's ready!" Naruto yelled and got the attention of the guild. The guildmates grabbed bowl after bowl till there was barely any left, Naruto left the house for some midnight training.
"Naruto! Aren't you going to eat with us?" Lucy asked her fellow blonde; he shook his head negatively.
"I'm going to train." Naruto took his poncho off and hung it on the coat hanger and left, leaving a confused group of girls whilst the boys were oblivious to the situation.
Naruto
Naruto was balancing on a kunai using one finger with two boulders; 4 feet length and 4 feet width on each foot. The blonde had rocks stuck to his body and was blindfolded whilst doing one armed push-ups on the kunai. He was surrounded by several clones with kunai knives in their hands and grins on their faces.
"Now!" Naruto clone; most likely the leader yelled. Clone after clone threw kunai at the original who brought another kunai to block the incoming projectiles; The knives he could block, like the ones behind him were dodged, Naruto used the boulders on his feet as a counterbalance to one another and leaned side to side while still doing push-ups, occasionally swapping hands.
This was the sight Erza Scarlet arrived upon, she saw his rippling muscles pulsate with every movement he made; she grew hot. Erza was even more surprised how the blonde dodged kunai's coming from behind.
After the clones killed themselves from getting hit by each other's weapons, Naruto kicked the boulders off his feet and flipped off the kunai. He stretched his back a lot, getting loud cracks which made Erza winced at the pressure he put into those stretches.
"You can come out now." Naruto yelled and waited for Erza to come out from behind the tree. "I know you're there." Naruto said and Erza stepped out reluctantly.
"Hi, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to spy on you, I mean I wasn't spying, I was just watching yo- wait, I was just watching you train." Erza stammered out and Naruto shook his head.
"It's quite alright, what is it you want?" The blonde asked.
"I wanted to apologize for how I went into that drawer without permission." Erza said and bowed her head. "Hit me." Naruto looked her up and down strangely.
"What?"
"I must be punished for my actions, and I cannot punish myself so someone must do it. Will you do it." Erza asked and Naruto shook his head at the weird red head. Naruto walked up to her and flicked her forehead.
"Ow!" She whined.
"You said punish you, so that's what I did." Naruto said and Erza stood to her full height while nursing her forehead. "It's not your fault that you opened the drawer I thought those games were in, they were in the drawer next to it." Naruto sighed. "Erza Scarlet, I am sorry. Name your price and I will repay you in full." Naruto bowed his head this time, much to Erza's shock but she smiled all the while.
"I want to train with you in swordsmanship." This brought a surprised look from Naruto who raised his head to look at her.
"Why that specifically?" He asked narrowly.
"Because you are the only member in Fairy Tail to best me in swordplay, so I would like to increase my prowess in order to win our next battle." Erza explained, Naruto shot his hand out for her to shake.
"I accept." Naruto said and waited for Erza to shake his hand, which she did gratefully. "But not right now, I'm pretty hungry so I want to have a feed." Naruto said as his and Erza's stomachs growled loudly, and the duo laughed; chuckled in Naruto's case. "You didn't eat?"
"No, I wanted to apologize before I ate." Erza explained after their laugh.
"Let's go back and I'll fix something up for us." Naruto said and began walking to his residence with Erza following behind him.
Naruto's home
Everyone had their bellies full of the amazing meal Naruto cooked.
Naruto and Erza walked into the room and saw the display before them, Erza began scolding the group while Naruto walked to the kitchen and grabbed ingredients for ramen.
After the scolding the guildmates got; courtesy of Erza, they walked to the counter and bowed to the floor with their heads almost touching the ground.
"Thank you for the meal, Naruto-sama!" The homeless guild mates yelled in unison.
"Drop the 'sama' or I'll drop you in the streets." Naruto warned and Elfman hugged the blonde.
"You're a real man!" Naruto headbutted the white-haired mage to let him go, which Elfman did to nurse his bruised nose.
"Don't hug me. I'm a man of the opposite sex." Naruto said dusting himself off. Naruto moved back to the stove and shook the mesh strainer with pasta inside and poured the spaghetti inside a bowl with soup already involved before finishing the ramen with five slices of chasu, a handful of chopped green onions, some slices of narutomaki, menma, and one half of a soft-boiled egg.
"Here you go Erza." Naruto said before giving her the bowl of ramen whilst he ate his own. Erza was taken aback from the aroma and sight of the ramen that she didn't notice her mouth watering. "You might wanna start eating those noodles or your drool will ruin it." Naruto advised with slight humor. Snapping out of her aroma-comatose she grew a smile on her delicate features.
"Sorry, and thank you for this amazing meal." Erza thanked Naruto who shrugged his shoulders.
"It's the least I can do." Naruto said. He and Erza snapped their chopsticks in great succession and dug into their individual ramen bowls at their own pace.
Throughout their meal, Erza and Naruto gave each other slight compliments to each other about their spar at lunch time, Naruto told her that she telegraphs her rear hand swing when she uses a sword and she told him that he doesn't keep his eye on her all the time; preferring to use his other senses.
After dinner, Naruto washed the dishes Naruto and Erza accumulated whilst talking, they got so engrossed in talking that Naruto made a clone to keep the ramen coming.
"Welp, I'm off to bed." Naruto said and walked up the stairs to hibernate in his room. If he had stayed longer, he would have seen Erza's far off expression.
Naruto room
Naruto was tossing and turning, trying to find the right position that was beneficial to his sleep. Naruto was also hearing arguments between the males and females downstairs.
"Get your own bed!" He heard Gajeel shout to, most likely Levy or Gray or Elfman.
"Be a real man and give me space!" He heard the muffled shout from Elfman. Getting fed up, Naruto gets up from his bed and stomps downstairs.
"What the fuck is going on here?!" Naruto's voice boomed through the house instantly shutting the screamers up.
"We cannot sleep with these simple-minded fools!" Carla exclaimed while pointing at Elfman and Gajeel.
"Yeah, this cat keeps on shedding its fur on my face!" Gajeel complained and Carla scratched his face, leaving red scratch marks going down his face.
"Ugh I'm too old for this!" Naruto groaned with his shoulders slumping.
"You're nearly the same age as us!" Lucy argued.
"Still too old."
"So how am I going to get to sleep if one person keeps on rubbing up against me?!" Gray asked and turned over to show the rest that Juvia was hugging his back.
"Oh~ Gray-sama~ you can keep using me as a bed if you please." Juvia cooed before Gray turned back around, intentionally squashing Juvia.
"See!" Gray said. Naruto groaned and ran a hand through his hair.
"Elfman, get your sausage fingers away from me!" Evergreen commanded. Naruto came up with an answer to their problems.
"Ugh, I am going to regret this." Naruto muttered under his breath. "All female members come with me." Naruto ordered and walked up the stairs.
"Should we bring our sleeping bags?!" Levy asked.
"Only what you use for sleeping." Naruto shouted back. "And no vibraters either! Leave them down there." Naruto yelled again and the females of Fairy Tail blushed crimson before walking upstairs to follow Naruto.
Naruto room
"You'll be staying in here for a while till I know where to put you." Naruto said before walking to the door.
"Where are you going?" Lucy asked.
"To sleep, where else do you think I'm going?" Naruto asked casually, not even bothering to look over his shoulder. Erza was about to stop him when he stopped her.
"Let him be. He doesn't like people sleeping near him." Kurama said with a big yawn while he was situated on Naruto's bed.
"Why not?" Juvia asked.
"Because it reminds him of the friend he can never see again." Kurama said but the group guessed it was when he was "banished" from his village. "But don't worry, you girls got me to keep you safe." Kurama said but got bopped on the head from Carla.
"You stupid fox, who said you were sleeping with us?" Carla asked and watched in fascination when Kurama grew bigger and bigger, completely eclipsing the exceed.
"I did, now I'm going to sleep!" Kurama's voice bellowed out before he shrunk down and curled up into a small ball and let the blissful feeling take him to dreamland.
"Welp, we might as well get some sleep. We must rebuild and upgrade the guildhall from what it is now." Erza instructed and situated herself on Naruto's bed with Mirajane joining her whilst Carla slept with Wendy on a couch in the room while the rest did the same on either the floor or another couch.
Next morning
Naruto woke up on a couch and remembered what happened last night with the girls and boys. Walking to the kitchen while accidentally kicking Gajeel head Naruto went to work and cooked bacon and egg with apple and orange juice as the drinks and toast on the side. He heard footsteps coming from the stairs leading up to his room.
"Morning Kurama." Naruto greeted the fox.
"Hey." Kurama greeted groggily; he didn't get much sleep since he was getting kicked from Mirajane and Erza's feet, he bit their feet and they put him in between them both, squashing him in the process.
Naruto chuckled at the demise his friend went under last night.
"Should I wake everyone up?" Kurama asked and Naruto nodded. Kurama inhaled deeply and released a blood curdling roar that shook the house.
"Aah!" The residents of the house screamed in unison with Naruto laughing a little. Kurama smiled at his friend laughing, small but still laughing. The girls came running down from the stairs at the sudden attack as the men activated their magic.
"Breakfast is ready." Naruto announced and the people glared at him, thinking it was him.
'Well, they're not wrong. But they're not right either.' Naruto thought, he looked and saw Natsu and Happy rubbing their eyes. "I thought you two had your own house?" Naruto asked.
"Oh, Lucy asked if we wanted to come over here last night." Natsu replied while Naruto stared at Lucy intently.
"If you're gonna bring in more others, inform me next time." Naruto said and Lucy nodded nervously.
"Y-y-yes!" Lucy stammered out. Naruto waved his hand to the table.
"And Natsu, I want my cat." Naruto said and held his hand out; Natsu and the others completely forgot about the bet Natsu and he made. Natsu hugged the exceed protectively.
"You're not getting Happy." Natsu said firmly.
"Fine then, eat up. We have a guild that needs rebuilding." Naruto said, everyone dug into the food with gusto while Naruto walked with Kurama outside.
"Why isn't Naruto eating with us?" Natsu asked and took a bite of toast with some egg on it.
"I don't think he feels comfortable." Levy inquired, the guildmates shrugged their shoulders.
After breakfast Erza made Natsu, Gray and Gajeel do the dishes, for "team bonding". The rest headed over to the guild after cleaning the mess they made in Naruto's house and saw Naruto's clones holding planks of wooded and equipment for rebuilding.
"Naruto." Erza greeted him by making a wave in his direction, he reciprocated it with an eyebrow raise.
"Lucy, can we come with you to your dads?!" Naruto heard Natsu ask the celestial mage.
"Why?" Lucy asked confusedly; why would they need money? They got a house.
"We found out yesterday our money jar was covered in moths!" Happy stated frantically.
"That's not my fault." Lucy stated annoyedly.
"WE WERE STUCK ON TENROU ISLAND FOR KAMI'S SAKE!" Natsu yelled on his hands and knees.
"Again, not my fault." Lucy said.
"Technically it kind of is. Since you used Fairy Sphere on Acnologia." Naruto stated. "Oh, and Lucy, sorry to break it to you but your dad passed away like a month ago." Naruto said nonchalantly, the guild members froze.
"W-what?" Lucy murmured but Naruto heard her clearly.
"He passed away a month ago." Naruto repeated in the same laid-back tone. The Heartfilia was in a state of shock, she was gone that long.
'The result of these seven years just keeps on getting worse.' Makarov thought sadly for his child. Natsu and Happy looked to the ground with solemn looks, the rest of the members bowed their heads in respect for a fallen soul, that of Jude Heartfilia.
"How can you be so calm about this?!" Natsu asked angrily with his head still low. Naruto looked at the dragon slayer unflinchingly.
"Because... We all have to die someday. Jude's days ran out a month ago." Naruto said to the pissed off fire mage and also pissing off Gray and Elfman.
"YOU BASTARD!" Natsu came barreling towards Naruto with a fire fist cocked back. Natsu drew closer and launched the punch, but Naruto slipped out of the way to grab Natsu's face and threw him in a random direction; which happened to be in the Twilight Ogre guild hall's direction.
He then twirled around and caught an ice lance aimed for his back and threw the ice lance at a flying Natsu, catching him off guard and pinning him to a tree.
"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE EVERYTHING YOU WORKED FOR!" Gray and Natsu screamed, this set off the wrong cord in Naruto, but he kept his cool. Erza and most of the female population with some of the male population stood back with Makarov praying that Naruto didn't hurt Gray and Natsu too badly.
"And here I thought you were a true man! BUT YOU'RE NOTHING BUT SCUM!" Elfman yelled and used his magic and transformed his arm into metal and went to punch Naruto in the head, but Naruto caught the punch and threw him into the same tree as Natsu.
"Do you know what it's like to have your loved ones killed?! If you did, then you would know a speck of how it feels?!" Gray yelled. This pissed Naruto off, he appeared in front of Gray and upper-cutted him into the air then disappeared again and reappeared in front of Elfman and Natsu before burying his fists in both of their guts before grabbing their necks and a red arm of pure energy came from Naruto's back and launched to the airborne Gray and brought him back to Naruto.
Naruto turned to the gasping Gray who had a massive bruise on his chin. "You asked, do I know what it's like to lose loved ones?" Naruto repeated Gray's question and turned to Natsu. "You said that I didn't know what it's like to lose everything I worked for?" Naruto repeated Natsu's accusation before turning to Elfman. "And you said I was scum?" Naruto asked Elfman calmly. He brought their heads closer. "Everyone and everything I worked hard for... is already dead and gone." Naruto whispered before dropping the three and his chakra arm retreated back into his body, and he turned around.
"Those who abandon the mission are scum, and that's true. But those who abandon even one of their friends are even worse than scum. Those were the words of my deceased sensei." Naruto said and walked back to the guildhall.
The spectators that were watching gaped at the display of power from their blonde guild-member, Gildarts was suspicious about that red energy that came from Naruto's back, he sensed a demonic presence coming from that energy.
Makarov looked at his children's fight with a melancholy expression. 'I hope they can learn to forgive each other.' Makarov thought hopefully and motioned Erza to go talk with Naruto since she and a few others were the closest to him, which she did instantly.
Guild hall
Erza walked into the guild hall and saw Naruto drinking sake. Walking up to the blonde she tapped his shoulder.
"What do you want, Erza?" The blonde man asked the redhead who retracted her hand.
"I wanted to know if you were ok?" Erza asked, Naruto looked over his shoulder to look at his red haired companion.
"I'm fine. Just some memories." Naruto stated and downed a cup of sake.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Erza asked and Naruto shook his head. She then sat in the stool next to Naruto before slamming his head into her chestplate in a hug of some sort; but it was painful for his nose.
"Ow." Naruto said blankly before trying to pull away when she clasped her hand tighter around his head.
"It's ok, just let it out." Erza advised.
"If you knew anything about men it's that we don't cry. It's a sign of weakness." Naruto stated.
"It's not a sign of weakness, it just proves that you are comfortable around us to let out those feelings." Erza explained and Naruto sighed.
"Besides I'm sure blood will come out of my bruised nose more than tears from my eyes." Naruto said and Erza removed Naruto's head. She used requip and wore her white sleeveless blouse and her blue skirt. She brought Naruto's head down and rested it on her chest.
"Does that feel better?" Erza asked Naruto who was too mesmerised by the clouds on her chest.
'These are so soft.' Naruto thought with pink cheeks. "Much better." Naruto whispered but Erza picked it up and smiled at his blissful and soft expression on his face; since he took mask off to drink his sake.
