One evening, Bela, Dennis' arch-enemy is pacing back and forth along the ground. He has had enough of himself being beaten up by the young dhampir.
"How come I always lost to that human!", Bela said in defeat, once again.
The last time he tried to destroy the hotel, was a huge invasion with his cronies. But the cronies fled away, and Bela was once again, defeated.
Just then, Mina flew back home. She had some very exciting news that she wants to share with Bela.
"Bela.", Mina called. "What?", screamed Bela. Mina doesn't normally like her husband's rude behavior, to which she replied, "Is that a nice way to greet me?!".
Bela can clearly see that Mina is angry, "No, I'm just so angry, because...". "Because, Dennis defeated you again, huh?", said Mina, who literally took the words right out of Bela's mouth.
"How did you know!?", Bela shouted. Mina then told him the reason why, "There are literally punch marks, bruises, and bandages all over you.". Mina was right, Bela was severely hurt.
"That's because, you are always on that human's side!", Bela shouted. "It doesn't matter if I'm on Dennis' side or not,", Mina calmly told Bela, "what does matter, is that I've found you some new minions for our clan."
Bela suddenly gets dumbfounded, "New minions?", he said in a nicer voice. "Wait!", Bela said, realizing that his cronies are very stupid, in contrast to him and Mina, "Don't tell me, are they really dumb?".
Mina then took Bela to the top of the mountain, and watched the horizon in the distance. "You see, I've found new bat cronies like us,", Mina told her husband, "But they are more technical advanced in general.".
Bela doesn't normally like to listen to his wife's conversations, but with ever word she spoke, Bela kept taking notes by scratching them on slabs of stone.
"Where did you find these cronies?", Bela asked. "Well, I was just flying down into the forest, looking for food,", Mina told her husband, "and then I found these seven creatures that look like us, and because I'm somewhat a bit pleasing to them, they asked me to adopt them.".
When Bela heard the word 'adopt', he suddenly gets horrified. "Y-Y-Y-Y-You a-a-adopted them?!", Bela shouted in fear.
Unfortunately, much to Bela's dismay, Mina said, "Yes.". Bela suddenly goes back into his cavern, and starts to hyperventilate. Mina however, thought that Bela's so excited to meet these cronies.
The next evening, due to Bela being allergic to sunlight, Mina told her husband to go outside and meet the new members of the Bela family.
Outside, there are seven creatures, to which Mina is happy to see. Bela at first doesn't want to see his new minions, but one look at them, and his mind was changed.
"Wow,", Bela said in amazement, "They look so different, and more recognizable than I thought.". Mina was very glad for her husband, "I'm so happy for you to say that.", she said.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves.", said one of the cronies with a lightning bolt hairstyle, "We're the Bela-lings!". The Bela-lings also seem to holding wands in their hands.
Bela somewhat got intrigued by those wands, "Nice wands you have there.", he said as he tried to reach his hand towards one of them. "Hold it, Bela!", said Mina, "These guys are dependable on their wands to become powerful.".
Bela somewhat got shocked, "Well, I don't use a wand, I just use my claws and teeth to destroy my enemies.". All the Bela-lings got interested in Bela's strength and power. "Wow, you're powerful!", said the smallest Bela-ling, who has really big wings.
The Bela-lings then decided to ask the question that Bela has been waiting for. "Will you adopt us?", all of the Bela-lings said in unison.
Mina agreed, but Bela had to think about it. "If I adopt these new minions, maybe it'll help me destroy the hotel and defeat Dennis, once and for all.", Bela thought, "But, I don't know if this might be a good idea.". Everyone was waiting for Bela to make his decision, "Come on, we haven't got all day!", screamed a Bela-ling with a bow and a sassy attitude.
Bela soon came up with an answer, "Yes, but only if you guys have what it takes to become a part of my clan.". All of the Bela-lings cheered, and Mina was so happy. "Now,", said Bela, let the training... BEGIN!".
Authors notes: This is my first crossover, and the reason I made it a crossover is because although this story is like an introduction to the Bela-lings, they are a parody of the Koopalings from the Mario franchise. Also, at the end of each chapter, I will describe each of the Bela-lings names, their attributes, and even their age.
I also wanted to do a story, which shows a different side of Bela, not normally seen before by anyone.
