Hello everyone! Although I know it has been a very LONG time since this was updated, I just wanted to leave a little note to reassure everyone that I am planning on continuing this story. I have been so busy lately with everything going on in my life that I just haven't had the time to write. However, I have been working out many plot kinks and have started a (very) rough draft of the next couple of chapters. I would say it's just veering out of the planning stages and into the actual writing. Unfortunately, this means a little longer wait. I would rather crank out better quality chapters (with better writing and a longer length than the prologue) over shorter chapters that would leave major cliffhangers. Please bear with me, and the next chapter of The Burden will be out soon!
