I have been a chao for three days now. My friend's name is Jacob. I made up the name Ronald for myself. It doesn't sound like a chao name, but it's better than nothing. Jacob has taught me many of the ways of the chao. Today is another lesson. How to swim.
Jacob is showing me how to move my legs. I am having trouble moving them fast enough. He is being patient. He keeps showing me the right way to do it. I keep doing it the wrong way. Another friend, Aqua, is coming over. Aqua is a very good swimmer. She is offering to help teach me. Jacob is looking at me, waiting for my answer. I am thinking. Now I am agreeing.
Aqua is showing me a trick to kicking properly. If certain muscles are manipulated, the legs will ricochet up and down rapidly. I am learning how to kick properly. Now I am learning how to move my arms properly. Aqua is leaving. She has her own way of swimming that doesn't involve the arms.
Jacob is showing me how to position the arms to start swimming. He is holding me up while I try it. I am learning how to move the arms quite quickly. I am looking at Jacob, and I am realizing, he isn't there. He is several feet behind me. I am swimming on my own. Jacob is looking at me happily. He is glad that I am learning so quickly. I am swimming back to him. He is grinning at me. I am getting out of the pool. We are both celebrating by sharing a nut. I am glad that I have learned how to swim so quickly. Aqua is coming over. She is congratulating me. She is going back to the pool to continue swimming. Jacob and I are laying down to take a nap.
