Hello Hello everyone and welcome to the second story of Summer break between Sophomore and Junior year! This chapter is all about Ruby Milton. She and Paige have a good heart to heart about their love lives and about Birth Control Pills. After that She, Paige, and Bryce wait to go on a double date with the younger couple and Paige and Korey.

It was ten AM and Ruby Milton AKA Sixpence was sitting on the stoop of her cousin Korey, otherwise known as Chromeleon's house. She was waiting for her cousin's teammate Paige AKA Pom Pom, to arrive back at the house with coffee for them both. They had a lunch date with Korey and Ruby's boyfriend Bryce, who also went by Magnetive, and the girls were planning on getting ready together.
The Blonde and pink-haired mutant ported to the bottom step seemingly out of nowhere with an iced coffee in each hand. Ruby smiled before accepting the drink she was offered.
"Good morning, Miss Ruby…" Paige said with a happy sigh, she moved to unlock the door for the other girl.
Normally Paige would just port into the house without bothering to touch the door at all, but out of respect for the other girl she had taken her key with her today.
"How's it been around here lately?" Ruby asked as she entered behind the Blonde, taking a sip of her drink as she went.
"Nothing too eventful I suppose… just chasing down hooligans, keeping the peace… giving Phil the business!" The other responded making the younger laugh.
The two girls made their way up to Paige's bedroom, where the younger girl dropped her backpack at the foot of the others bed. Envy was sitting on her own bed with headphones in her ears, The Kills blasting loud enough for the other two girls to hear.
Paige waved at the other girl, Ruby acknowledging her with a simple nod before she went to sit on the teleporters bed.
"So, I didn't realize that you and Korey were dating…" Ruby told the Blonde, who snorted suddenly before turning to look back at her.
"We're doing the casual thing… we aren't exclusive!" Paige responded simply, as she sat down at her desk and began to rifle through the various cosmetic products she owned.
"That makes sense for him actually… He's never really liked being tied down for too long…" Ruby commented with a nod.
"This just in… Chrome is a man whore!" Envy commented from the other side of the room.
Ruby rolled her eyes before shaking her head quickly.
"No, not like that… He wasn't exactly the flavor of the week guy but like he usually didn't do more than a few months with one person before he would move on…" Ruby clarified, not bothering to look over at the green girl.
She didn't have anything against Envy out right, but between her and Kurt, Ruby was one hundred percent team Kurt. She had heard rumors that Envy made regular homophobic comments about Darius and Kurt, but she had never seen the girl do it herself. It was hard for her to make a judgement call without knowing all the evidence first.
"What about you and Bryce… as wired as he is all the time, he must be really active in the sack!" Paige commented as she winged her eyes with charcoal gray liner.
Ruby blushed and looked away for a moment. The older two girls exchanged a look before turning to her expectantly. Despite what they say about boarding school kids, the students at the Xavier Institute weren't as sexually active as most were, too many telepaths around.
"We haven't done anything yet…" She told them, noting that they didn't look satisfied with that answer, "I'm not on the pill and I don't want to risk anything!" She added pitch raising slightly.
"All you have to do to get it is walk into a health clinic in Jersey and say you want to get on the pill, they can even get you a three or six month supply, so you don't have to worry about refills every month!" Paige told her looking over with a smile.
Ruby nodded after a minute, looking at her lock screen, it was a picture of her and Bryce smiling and laughing.
"One of us would be happy to go with you if you want!" Paige added smirking at the younger girl.
Envy nodded before stepping out of the room and into the bathroom next door.
"Yeah, that would be nice…" Ruby stated simply before texting her boyfriend a good eta.

Bryce arrived at about two that afternoon, he had gotten a large cup of coffee on the way, which made his girlfriend laugh when she saw it. It was a very Bryce sight to see him come walking in with a Trenti.
"Decaf right?" She teased, knowing that he wasn't able to do the caffeine yet.
"One Quarter caffeinated, three quarters decaf…" He stated simply, making the girl shake her head.
"You are an addict!" She told him, kissing his cheek as he approached.
"Yes!" He replied simply before sticking his tongue out.
The girl laughed again before she stuck her tongue out in reply, blowing a small raspberry at him. He rolled his eyes at her before pulling her in for a kiss.
"So where are Korey and Paige?" Bryce asked after they had stopped and settled on the seat along the window.
"Paige is here!" He heard a call from the kitchen, making him jump.
A moment later the blonde ported into the room in a cloud of pink smoke. She looked at the gigantic cup of coffee the boy had and shook her head.
"Chrome and Polaris were on duty for a protective detail last night, they should be back in about an hour!" The Blonde stated, she sat down on a woven back chair that had recently been added to the room.
"Darius' mom?" Ruby asked the girl who nodded slightly.
"Officially I can't answer that…" She added before nodding again.
She knew that they had met her at the wedding two weeks prior, but she still didn't want to risk Captain Rogers, Black Widow, or Coulson walking in on her talking about Antoinette's situation.
"You all wanna play cards or something till they get back?" Paige asked getting nods from the teens before they all moved to sit around the coffee table.
