Chapter 63: Dance-Off! Musa's Beats of Life!
Winx Dorm…
Ranma was doing some pushups on the floor with Kiko and Zing sitting on his back as Bloom watched him. Flora was watering some plants on the balcony. Musa sat nearby reading a book. Tecna was working on her tablet. Stella was in her room.
"201… 202… 203… 204… 205…" Ranma counted as he did his pushups.
"Wow Ranma, you really are something." Said Bloom.
"Oh this is nothing, Bloom." Said Ranma as he resumed counting.
Suddenly, Layla came into the room. "Mail's here, everyone!"
Ranma stopped his pushups after hearing that and got up after Kiko and Zing got off. The other girls also turned their attention to Layla.
"Oh! The mail?" asked Stella as she came out of her room at the same time Flora returned from the balcony.
"Not much here, though." Said Layla. She hands a magazine to Stella. "Your subscription came in, Stella."
Stella took it excitedly. "Great! This month's issue of Fashion Magic is finally here!"
Layla hands out a small package to Tecna. "This one's for Tecna."
"Ah. That must be the part I ordered. Thanks." Said Tecna as she took the box.
"A letter for Flora." Said Layla as she handed Flora an envelope.
"For me?" said Flora as she looked at the return address. "Oh! It's from Miele!"
"Your little sister? It has been a while, hasn't it?" said Bloom.
"True. It's good to hear from her every once in a while." Said Flora.
"This is for Bloom." Said Layla, handing Bloom another envelope.
Bloom takes the envelope and was surprised to see it came from Mike and Vanessa, her Earth parents. "From my Earth parents? How did it find its way here?"
"Magic, of course!" said Stella as she shrugged.
Layla smirked at the answer, then hands Ranma a simple small envelope. "There's no name on this one, but I'm guessing this is for you, Ranma."
"Huh? How so?" asked Ranma.
"Take a look."
Ranma looks at the simple envelope and sighed as he found it read on the front 'Letter of Challenge'. "Gee… wonder who this could be from?"
Ranma opens the letter and reads aloud the contents. "Ranma, I hereby challenge you to a duel this Friday at the forest clearing south of Cloud Tower. We will settle this once and for all. Be ready or else. Signed, Ryoga."
"Gotta say, that guy's really persistent." Said Musa.
"Not the word I'd use, Musa." Said Ranma.
"Uh, Ranma? Friday is today." Tecna pointed out.
"Yeah? So what?" said Ranma uncaringly as he crumpled up the note and tossed it into a waste basket. "That moron's totally clueless about directions. I'll give him another week at least. Knowing him, he's wandering around lost as usual."
Somewhere else (nowhere NEAR Cloud Tower)…
"Just you wait, Ranma! This time, I'll break you like a twig next we meet! Now where's that clearing?"
Ryoga continued to roam around the deep forests looking for the duel spot. In his hurry to find the place, he completely misses the wooden sign pointing toward the direction of Cloud Tower. Predictably, Ryoga went in the complete opposite direction which lead into a deeper part of the forest.
Winx dorm…
"That boy's got problems…" said Stella.
"You're telling me, Stella." Said Ranma.
Layla takes her own mail from what she had, then noticed one last envelope. "And the last one is for you, Musa. Looks important."
Musa's head perked up at hearing that. "Oh?" She takes the letter and gasped when she noticed that it had a wax seal, bearing the crest of Melody.
"What is it, Musa?" asked Flora.
"It's from Princess Galatea herself!" said Musa as she quickly opened the letter. Skimming through the contents, her eyes widened.
"What is it? What's it say?" asked Zing as Kiko hopped up in Bloom's arms.
Musa looked at the others as a smile slowly formed on her face. "Princess Galatea's birthday is in two weeks at her palace in Melody, and she's asked me to perform for her!"
Everyone was shocked at the news.
Opening (Tribe Cool Crew style, 'Heartbeat')
The darkness lights up to reveal the butterfly X. A shot of Magix is seen from above, then goes to Kiko as he does a moonwalk. It switches to a shot of Alfea, then goes to Ranma's feet hopping along some posts, then to Musa's feet as she walks. Camera pans up from the City of Magix as the Ranma Club title appears.

Ranma and the girls were surprised to hear that bit of news from Musa.
"What? Asking you to perform?" asked Ranma.
"From royalty, no less! This is a huge honor!" said Stella.
"Congratulations, Musa! Royalty from your homeworld recognizes your talent!" said Bloom as she hugged her friend.
"Wow… I… I just don't know what to do… this is… oh I feel faint…" said Musa.
"Breathe, Musa!" said Tecna.
"Sorry, it's just so overwhelming. So much pressure!" said Musa. "Oh! I'll need to prepare! What kind of song will I do? Will it be good enough? I hope the King and Queen of Melody will like it!"
"I'm sure you'll do fine." Said Flora as she held her hand to calm Musa down. "After all, you are the Faerie of Music."
"Flora's right, you know." Added Ranma. "Anything you make will be a great hit!"
"Besides, you've got two weeks. That's plenty of time to compose something." Said Layla.
"You're right… and there's no time like the present!" said Musa as she immediately went to the room she shared with Tecna and ran out holding various papers and instruments. "If you need me, I'll be in the school auditorium!"
Before anyone could say a word, Musa was out of the room.
"Musicians are really dedicated to their craft, I suppose." Said Zing. She was suddenly dressed like Ludwig Van Beethoven and played the first few notes of his 5th Symphony on a piano. "Dun dun dun duuuuuuuun! Dun dun dun duuuuuuuuun!"
"We should probably leave her to her work." Said Stella. "Still, in two weeks, it'll be time to pah-tay!"
Throughout the weeks, while everyone was attending classes, Musa spent her free time trying to compose a good song to perform for Galatea's party. Sometimes she walked around Alfea and Magix to look for inspiration. It was why she had been walking around carrying sheet music to jot down some good beats. As Musa was slowly composing her music, something else occurred.
Cloud Tower outskirts…
Ranma had left Cloud Tower, having finished an errand for Faragonda, at the same time dropping off a letter from Mousse to Shilly. As he made his way to Alfea, the pigtailed boy's danger sense went off.
"RANMA! PREPARE TO DIE!"
Ranma jumped out of the way of a sharp stalagmite that pierced out of the ground he was on. He turned to see Ryoga standing before him.
"Oh, you." Said Ranma.
"DON'T 'OH, YOU' ME! So you've finally showed up for your demise!" said Ryoga.
"Oh right. It's been a week already, hasn't it?" said Ranma. "I supposed this would be the right time for you to pop up."
"SHUT UP! TAKE THIS!" Ryoga charged forward with a punch.
Ranma easily parries the punch, to which Ryoga began throwing out more wild punches his way. The pigtailed boy continues to dodge and parry all of Ryoga's attempts to hit him.
"Ryoga, we've been through this a million times already. Aren't you sick of this by now?" asked Ranma while he was weaving in and out.
"WHAT I'M SICK OF IS SEEING YOUR FACE! NOW HOLD STILL!" shouted Ryoga, continuing his angry assault.
"Then don't look for me for a fight, you moron!" Ranma fired back. He then lashed out with a roundhouse kick, nailing Ryoga in the head and sent him flying back, crashing into a nearby rock that cracked on impact.
"DAMN YOU, RANMA!" Ryoga slams his palms on the ground, causing several fist-sized rocks to pop upward. He threw his arms forward, causing the rocks to fly straight at Ranma.
"KATCHU TENSHIN AMAGURIKEN!" Ranma unleashed his high-speed rapid punch technique to shatter the rocks.
Ryoga wasn't done yet and threw a large boulder he formed at Ranma. He quickly jumped the huge rock before it could hit him and struck Ryoga in the chest with a flying kick. Ranma was getting tired of Ryoga's attacks and decided to finish it. Besides, the Alfea cafeteria was serving orange chicken today and he didn't want to miss that.
"YOU'RE DEAD!" shouted Ryoga as he punched at Ranma while his fist was encased with rock that had a few spikes on it.
Ranma ducked the punch, getting within Ryoga's defense, and…
"MOKO TAKABISHA!"
Ranma threw his arms forward, his palms facing Ryoga's chest at an angle, before firing his ki blast at point blank. Ryoga took the full force of Ranma's confidence-fueled ki projectile and was sent flying out of the forest a good distance, him screaming along the way.
With the threat neutralized, Ranma continues on his way back to Alfea. It will be some time before he sees Ryoga again. He's Valtor's problem now.
Planet Melody a few days later…
Two weeks after Musa got the invitation from Galatea, she and her friends have touched down at a dimensional port on her homeworld.
"It's good to be back home again!" said Musa as she took in the surroundings.
"No kidding. Kinda feels like home." Said Ukyou.
Ranma, Shampoo, and Mousse had to agree. The appearance and layout of the planet was very Japanese and Chinese influenced due to the numerous pagodas, arched bridges, styles of dress on some citizens, and others.
"This place is awesome! Thanks for bringing me along!" said Xander.
"I'd also like to thank you for allowing Mousse to invite me, too." Said Shilly.
"It's no problem at all, you two." Said Musa.
Stella playfully nudged Mousse. "Way to go, stud!"
"Er… Stella… it's not like that!" Mousse said flustered.
"So now what?" asked Tecna.
"Princess Galatea said she had arranged a ride for us." Replied Musa as she looked around.
"Excuse me, are you Musa and her entourage?"
Musa and the others turned towards the voice to see a middle-aged man with shoulder-length black hair and clad in a black kimono-style outfit with red trim.
"Yes, that's right." Replied Musa.
"Excellent! Princess Galatea has arranged an escort for you all." The man moved aside as he presented a huge chauffer limo that are usually used by big-time celebrities.
"Whoa! Check out those wheels!" said Zing.
"Oh my, this is our ride?" asked Flora.
"For the esteemed guests of our princess." Said the man as he opened the door. "Please come on board."
On route…
Ranma and the others took in the sights of Melody as they rode in the chauffer, which was roomy enough to hold their whole group. They took the scenic route as the vehicle went through the city with the most excitement as well as touring the overlooking seaside roads.
"It really is a beautiful place, Musa!" said Xander.
"Thanks! Melody has that effect on people." Said Musa.
"Not to mention beautiful music is made here!" said Tune.
"So this is what it's like outside that Dance Party Fest some time ago." Said Ukyou. (1)
"Oh there's more where that came from!" said Musa.
"Look! There's the palace!" said Stella as she stuck her head out from the limo's sunroof opening.
Shampoo and Shilly also popped up out of the sunroof behind Stella along with Zing and Amore to see what she was looking at. Up ahead was a large red and gold palace built in an oriental style, having several pagoda towers about with the surrounding area lined by a tall wall with dragon pillars.
Later…
The Winx, the Nerima martial artists, and their guests entered the courtyard of the royal palace. It consisted of several elaborate koi ponds, zen sand lots, bamboo displays, and gardens with walkways and bridges passing through them. After crossing the courtyard, they go up the small steps towards the doors leading into the palace's great hall. The floors were polished with red carpeting while a few dragon pillars lined the hall. Numerous aides were going about their royal duties as another group aside were playing on shamisens, giving off a calming music.
"This is a pretty nice place." Said Ukyou.
"Yeah. Definitely has that oriental feel to it." Said Bloom as she looked about.
"This is my first time being in the palace…" said Musa in awe.
"Musa!"
Musa and the others turned towards the voice to see a girl their age waving at them. She has long blonde hair reaching her knees with sideswept bangs, blue eyes, and a pale skin tone. Her outfit consisted of a soft blue top and tight pants while wearing a soft lavender open jacket dress ensemble with a short ruffled skirt. On her head is a white tiara with a yellow gemstone signifying the title of Princess of Melody and a gold pendant around her neck.
"Princess Galatea!" said Musa as she bowed before her, the others following suit. "It's an honor to be here!"
"Please, no need to be so formal." Said Galatea as she urged Musa and the others to rise. "If anything, I should feel honored to have you all here. After all, you've saved the Magix Dimension several times, not to mention my life as well. You're all basically heroes."
Musa nodded as she recalled when she first acquired her Enchantix. Galatea had been visiting Alfea at the time when the Trix attacked and took her hostage. Icy showed how cruel she could be by freezing Galatea's wings and shattering them. Once the Winx arrive and fought them off, the Trix set the Alfea library on fire to make their escape. Galatea risked her own safety to try and save the spellbooks from getting burned, and Musa rushed in to save her, which helped her evolve into an Enchantix Faerie. Not only did Musa put out the fires with her new abilities, she also restored Galatea's wings as good as new.
"Weeeeelllll… that IS true… heheh…" said Stella.
"In any case, Dad wanted to make this the best celebration yet, and your father was the one who suggested to him to call for you. Honestly, I wondered how I didn't think of that before."
"Huh? Dad? Is he here?" asked Musa in surprise.
"He's with my dad right now. Follow me, everyone!" Galatea turned to lead the Alfea group to the throne room.
Throne room…
Musa and company followed Galatea to the throne room, which was quite spacious. The floor was polished in a light purple sheen where a large circular emblem outlined in gold was marked in the middle of the floor in front of a higher platform where the thrones were located. Standing at the foot of the platform were two armored guards resembling samurai holding glaives. There were dragon pillars supporting the ceiling, and lined on the side walls were numerous bonsai trees and jade dragon statues. Red tapestries with music notes also hung by the walls.
Sitting before them on the throne platform were the King and Queen of Melody, Galatea's parents. The King is a tall but chubby fair-skinned man with grey eyes, brown hair, and a small mustache. He was dressed in a pale red robe with pale blue and green trim, which resembled a hanfu. On his head is a golden crown shaped like a harp.
The Queen is a beautiful blonde woman with fair skin who is almost identical in appearance to her daughter, but unlike Galatea, the Queen had her hair done up in a bun. She was dressed in a light pink dress with flaring sleeves tied with a tallow sash, purple ankle strap high heel shoes, and purple teardrop-shaped earrings. On her head was a gold crown shaped like a lyre.
"Mom, Dad, Musa and her friends are here!" said Galatea as she went up to greet her parents.
"Splendid, Galatea!" said the King as he and the Queen looked to Musa and the others.
"Your Majesties, it is an honor to be in your presence." Said Musa as she bowed to them. Ranma and the others followed suit.
"Rise, everyone. It is nice to have my daughter's friends here. I'm sure her 18th birthday will be grand now that the Faerie of Music has arrived." Said the King.
"Truth is, he's been quite giddy about it." Said the Queen as she gave a slight giggle.
"Come on, Dear. I just want what's best for our daughter!" said the King indignantly.
"And who better to help with that?"
Musa's eyes widened when she heard the voice and turned to the source. She saw an older man slightly shorter than her with an extended belly, blue eyes, and balding white-streaked grey hair and small mustache. He was wearing a purple collared shirt with a red suit and pants set and tan shoes.
"Dad!" said Musa as she ran up and hugged her father, Ho-Boe.
"It's good to see you again, Musa." Said Ho-Boe.
"Right back at you!"
"Hello there again." Said Flora as she and the others walked up.
Ho-Boe separates from Musa as he acknowledged them. "Nice to see you again. Oh, I notice some new faces."
"Yeah, Dad. You already know of my friends, the Winx, and our Pixies." Said Musa as she gestured to her Alfea classmates and the Pixies. "This is Ranma, Ukyou, Shampoo, Mousse, Shilly, and Xander."
"Well it's very nice to see more of my daughter's friends." Said Ho-Boe, then looked at Ranma. He then addressed Musa. "Musa, this the boy who…?"
"Yeah, that's right." Said Musa.
Ho-Boe couldn't help but be a bit shocked. Musa had written him a letter in the past explaining what had happened to Riven and the Specialists, that they had been killed by Valtor, but their souls were still intact, in which they were combined to form Ranma. The father of Musa couldn't believe he was in the presence of a combined reincarnation.
"How's it going, sir?" said Ranma. His souls briefly appeared above him before vanishing, surprising Ho-Boe.
"Just fine, my boy." Said Ho-Boe as he shook Ranma's hand. "I leave my daughter in your care."
"Uh… no problem…" said a flustered Ranma.
"In any case, you are all guests in my palace. I'll have the servants escort you to your rooms." Said the King.
He claps his hands in which several male and female servants picked up their baggage and led them to the guest quarters.
Guestrooms…
Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, Layla, Kiko, and their respective Pixies stayed in one large room, while Ranma, Shampoo, Ukyou, Mousse, Shilly, Xander, and Zing stayed in an identical adjacent room separated by a wall with one door connecting the two.
"Haaa! Such comfy bed!" said Shampoo as she plopped herself on one of the plush beds.
"I don't think I've ever been on a bed this soft." Said Xander as he sat on his.
"That's royalty for you." Said Mousse as he looked around the room.
"Even the chairs are plush!" said Ukyou as she sat down on one of the plush chairs.
Ranma also laid on one of the beds. "Man… I feel like I could just doze off any minute…" He closed his eyes, and almost immediately was out like a light.
"Wow… the beds must be really comfy." Said Shilly after she and the others witnessed the pigtailed boy's dozing off.
"Well, I'm with him." Said Zing as she laid herself down on the nightstand closest to Ranma.
In the room the Winx were staying in, Stella also plopped herself on one of the beds.
"Haaa… almost as good as the beds at home…" Stella sighed blissfully.
"Always the princess." Said Layla, though she had to agree as she sat on hers.
Kiko was jumping up and down on a pillow before nuzzling in it to sleep. "Kiko certainly likes it." laughed Bloom.
Musa wasn't listening as she was busy looking through the sheet music she compiled over the past two weeks.
"Musa, it is not ladylike to fret so much." Said Tune as she hovered near Musa's head.
"I'm sorry, but I can't help it! Tomorrow is the day I'll perform for Galatea!" said Musa. "What if I mess up during the performance? What if I forget the words? What if I-"
"Musa!"
Musa was startled upright at the voice as well as everyone else. The musical Faerie looked up in surprise at the one who called out her name.
"Flora?"
Flora sat next to her on the bed and placed her hands on top of Musa's. "Musa, you need to calm down. Otherwise, you'll stress yourself out."
"But… I… uh…"
"Listen, Musa. You are the Faerie of Music. Music isn't just your power, it's your passion. It's what you love doing. Your father and Galatea chose you because they believe in your talent. All you have to do is just do what you normally do when making music. Just enjoy yourself." Said Flora as she pats Musa's hand.
"Flora's right, you know." Said Layla as she walked up to them. "Just do your thing and everything will fall in place. I know once you get your rhythm going, everything else feels natural. Just go with the beat."
"What she said." Said Stella.
A smile slowly formed on Musa's face after finally calming down. "Thanks, girls. I needed that."
"What are friends for?" asked Tecna.
"Well, I suppose one last rehearsal couldn't hurt." Said Musa as she then used a spell to soundproof their room. She also made the musical instruments Shampoo and Ukyou won in the Steel Chef contest appear.
"Sounds like a good idea." Said Bloom as she took up one of the guitars, the others following suit.
Musa stood before the other five Faeries and the Pixies. "Alright girls, from the top!"
Melody Royal courtyard, next day…
Galatea's birthday bash went off without a hitch. Numerous guests ranging from other royalties and nobles have gathered to celebrate the Princess of Melody's coming of age. There were many festivities and events, not to mention food and a rather large multi-layered cake that could definitely feed all of the guests.
Ranma and Xander were stuffing themselves at the buffet, until Ukyou and Shampoo pulled Ranma aside to have him dance with them. Shilly also invited Mousse to dance with her, much to his embarrassment. At another time, Layla and Tecna were drawing a crowd as they faced off on a dancing rhythm game (think DDR), with Tecna triumphing. There was a segment in which there was open karaoke, where Bloom and Flora showed great singing talent. Stella and Musa pulled Xander over to unwind and dance to an upbeat music number.
Some time later into the party, the King and Queen of Melody got everyone's attention.
"May I have your attention, everyone!" said the King, causing all the guests to turn toward him. "First off, thank you all for being here for my daughter, Princess Galatea! My little girl has turned 18! Happy birthday, Galatea!" Everyone cheered as they raised their glasses. "And now, I'd like to present to you, Musa the Faerie of Music and her friends, the Winx!"
The room darkens before a spotlight illuminated on an elevated stage. There stood Musa before a mic stand. Behind her were Bloom and Stella on electric guitar, Flora on bass, Tecna on keyboard, and Layla on drums. They were all in their Enchantix forms.
"Thank you, Your Majesty." Said Musa, bowing. "This is a song for you, Princess Galatea. Happy birthday!"
The music starts as Musa lets off a soothing note. The rest of the Winx play a soft tune to Musa's voice. Then Musa started to sing.

The crowd was in awe at the song and Musa's use of vocal enhancements.

The King and Queen enjoy the song as Galatea smiled, recalling how Musa saved her from the Trix.

The beat started to pick up as magic sparkling lights flew around the Winx for added effect. Ho-Boe looks on proudly at his daughter as he did at the Red Fountain event long ago.

Musa sang her heart out as gold sparkles fell from above. Some of the sparkles flew off and circled around Galatea before rising up and falling in a shower of glitter.

Bloom, Stella, Flora, Tecna, and Layla were having the time of their lives as they played the music. As Ranma dances, the Specialist souls pop out and mimic his actions. Even the King and Queen started bopping to the beat.

Musa finishes by echoing that same soothing note from before. Ho-Boe nods in approval as he thinks of his dearly departed wife. 'Do you hear out daughter, Maitlin?'
Once the song ended, everyone applauded at the performance. Musa and the others took a bow just as Galatea walks up over to her.
"It was a great song, Musa! I could sense the heart and soul you put into it! You truly are the Faerie of Music!" said Galatea as she hugged Musa.
Musa was a bit flustered at the praise given to her by Melody's royalty then returned the hug. "Glad you loved it, Galatea."
The party continued on into the late hours. Ranma and Xander were glad to get slices of the cake, making sure to take some leftovers back. It concluded with a fireworks display into the night sky. At another time, Ho-Boe went to have a little chat with Ranma, much to his nervousness. They just had a trivial conversation, which ended with Ho-Boe telling Ranma to make sure he takes good care of Musa and the other Winx.
The next day, Musa and Ho-Boe left early morning to visit Maitlin's grave, telling her what has transpired and pray she continue looking out for them. Later on, Ranma and his party left for Alfea, with Galatea and Ho-Boe seeing them off. The Melody Princess thanked them all for coming and told Musa and her friends to visit them again. Ho-Boe gave his daughter a hug and told her to take care of herself.
Magix City, next day...
Musa was walking through the city with Xander doing some errands, the boy offering to come along since everyone else was busy. They stopped at an ice cream parlor near a fountain and each ordered a cone.
"I still can't get over that party from before." said Xander as he ate his ice cream.
"It was fun, wasn't it? First time in a palace?" asked Musa.
"Probably... in any case, you really are a great singer, Musa. I bet you could get a crowd if you sang here right now!"
"What? Oh no... I could never..." said Musa.
"I'm serious, though!" Xander insisted. After finishing their ice cream, Xander walks over to the fountain. "Come on! I'd like to hear something now!"
"Wait, now?" said Musa in surprise.
"Yeah! Please?"
The way Xander asked with that pleading look caused Musa to cave in. "Oh, alright."
"Yeah!"
Musa materializes a guitar and strums a few notes before sitting on the edge of the fountain. She thinks about a song she made some time ago and recalls the lyrics. Soon, Musa began playing.

Xander sat listening to Musa's singing. Patrons of the parlor looked to where Musa was singing.

After Musa played the last note, she became startled at the applause coming from the crowd that she just noticed was there.
"See, Musa? People think your singing's amazing, too!" said Xander.
Musa couldn't help but feel a bit flustered, but stood up and took a bow to the people.
Later...
Musa and Xander were on their way to the shuttle heading toward Alfea.
"You know, I was just wondering..." said Xander.
"What is it, Xander?" asked Musa.
"You're obviously a great singer. You should go professional."
"Huh? Me?"
"I'm serious! It's your passion, so becoming a famous musician must have crossed your mind at some point, right?"
Musa thought about it and had to agree. She did harbor some thoughts about going into the music industry, but were put on the back-burner due to school as well as having to fight against the forces of evil alongside the Winx.
"Yeah, I guess I never had the time to..."
"Well you really should consider it!"
"Perhaps I will."
They get on the shuttle bus before it drives off. Out of the corner of a wall, a mysterious person watches the bus drive away.
Next day...
Musa and Stella were walking through the streets of Magix City, the blonde having dragged the twintailed girl to do some accessory shopping.
"C'mon, Stella! Aren't you done yet?" asked Musa.
"Just one more place!" said Stella as she came across another jewelry store. "Ooh! They got sales here!"
"That's what you said the last time!" said Musa. "I'm going to sit this one out."
"Oh fine. I'll be out soon and we'll head back, promise!" said Stella as she ran into the store.
Musa sighed as she sat at one of the outdoor tables. "She really is such a shopaholic..." She wasn't really into it, she just tagged along as a favor to Stella.
"Excuse me, are you Musa?"
Musa's head turned up as she looked to see a man addressing her. He had blue eyes and white hair yet seemed to look in his twenties. He wore light brown slacks, a blue button down shirt with a yellow sweater tied around his neck by the sleeves, and tinted glasses.
"Who wants to know?" asked Musa.
"It is you! You were the one who performed for Princess Galatea a few days ago, didn't you?" asked the man. "I also saw your street performance yesterday, too. Great work!"
Musa was surprised. "Oh, you saw that, huh?"
"Of course! Oh, where are my manners? My name is Mac Stidco of Celestial." He holds out a business card.
"Celestial!? As in Celestial Talent Inc?" asked Musa as she took and inspected the business card.
"The very same!" replied Mac. "We have an eye for recognizing talent, and you, Musa, have that! It would be a waste not to build that potential to its fullest!"
Musa was at a loss. She had never had a situation like this before. Her singing talent was getting recognized. 'Celestial Talent is one of the biggest producers in the entertainment industry. Those who go with them would later get luxurious careers! I know they are based in Melody and it was a dream of mine to get picked by them!' "I... I'm glad you like my singing... it's just a hobby of mine..."
"A modest one, huh? You should feel proud. If you work with me, I can help realize your wildest dreams!" said Mac.
"Still, I can't believe Celestial would scout me..." said Musa. "I always thought they were based in Melody."
"We are. We've recently started expanding and have an office in Magix. I don't want to rush you, so just think about it. You can contact us on the number on the card and come to the address listed. Look forward to hearing your answer!"
Mac takes a bow and leaves. Musa was left with her thoughts as she looked at the business card. 'This is so sudden... what do I do?'
"Wow! I got some great deals!" said Stella as she exited the store with a few bags. "Hey Musa?"
Musa was snapped back to reality after hearing the blonde's voice. "Oh, Stella. Looks like you spent a fortune in there."
"Oh this? This is nothing!" said Stella proudly. She noticed the card in Musa's hand. "What's that?"
"I guess... an opportunity?"
Stella was left confused.
Winx dorm, some time later...
"Wow, Musa! Looks like your talent is getting recognized!" said Layla. "You actually got a producer to notice you!"
"It must have been from when you sang at Princess Galatea's party. It was televised if I'm not mistaken." said Tecna.
"See, Musa? I told you your singing's good!" said Xander.
"You have a gift." said Ranma as he patted Musa's shoulder.
"Seems like a great opportunity! You should take it!" said Stella.
"I agree. Who knows when the next one will come?" added Flora.
"Well, since you put it that way..." said Musa as she took out her cell phone and dialed the number on the card. After a few seconds, the other line picks up. The others looked at her on held breath. "Yes, hello Mr. Stidco, it's me, Musa." She holds the phone to address her friends. "He remembers me!" Musa goes back on call. "Yes, I thought about it and would like to know more. Uh huh... an audition? Tomorrow? That would be great! Around 3 PM? Sounds like a plan! Yes, thank you for the chance and I'll see you tomorrow! Bye!" Musa hangs up the phone. "I got an audition!"
The other Winx squeel in delight and hug Musa in congratulations.
"Well done, Musa!" said Flora.
"You're gonna be a star!" said Stella. "Can't believe you got to before I could!"
"Oh come on, Stella!" said Bloom as the others laughed.
Ranma smiled. 'Must be nice to have a dream. I'm not sure what it is I want. To be the best martial artist? I thought it was, but after meeting Bloom and the others, that doesn't seem as important now.'
Next day...
Once classes were over, Musa prepared to head out to the Magix Branch of Celestial Talent. Ranma and Flora offered to accompany her to the office as they had some business to attend in the same area.
"Thanks for walking me over, you two." said Musa.
"It's really no problem for us." said Flora.
The three came across a blue 3-story building with wide reflective windows. On the front was the sign reading 'Celestial Talent'.
"This must be the place." said Ranma. "Not bad."
Flora holds Musa's hands. "Well, good luck, Musa. I know you can do this!"
"Yeah! Break a leg in there!" added Ranma.
"Thanks so much, you two." said Musa as she turned to enter the building after giving them a wave.
Flora then turned to Ranma. "Well then, Ranma, shall we be off?"
"Sure thing, Flora." said Ranma as he followed the tan-skinned girl. "Still don't understand why you need to get soil."
"Well, it's a special kind of soil containing certain combinations of nutrients that help enable fast and healthy plant growth. I need it to do some botany experiments."
"Dunno, it all looks the same to me..."
Winx dorm a few minutes later...
Bloom, Stella, Tecna, and Layla were sitting in the commons room along with Xander.
"Musa as a famous singer. Can't say I'm surprised." said Layla. "Music is her life."
"I'm sure she'll be awesome!" said Xander.
Suddenly, Stella's phone started to ring.
"Oh! That's mine!" said Stella as she answered her phone. "Hello?"
"Princess Stella? It's me, Princess Galatea."
"Oh! Hi there! Also, just call me Stella."
"Sure, and just call me Galatea. Are you with your friends? Could you put me on speaker?"
Stella does what was asked and puts her cellphone on speaker so Bloom, Layla, Tecna, and Xander can listen in.
"Sure. You're on now."
"Hi Galatea! Nice to hear from you again!" greeted Bloom.
"Same to you." greeted Galatea back. "Have you spoken with Musa lately? I couldn't get her on her phone."
"Oh that. She can't answer since she's currently in an audition with Celestial Talent." said Stella.
Galatea was surprised. "Wow, really? I didn't think she was back here so soon."
"Huh? What are you talking about?" asked Layla.
"I know of Celestial Talent. They're a reputable company here on Melody. I sometimes work with them as a guest interviewer." said Galatea. "Would've thought Musa would at least drop a line she was here."
"Actually, Musa's at their Magix City branch." said Tecna.
"Magix City branch?"
"Yeah, they expanded to here apparently." said Layla.
"She met with some guy name Mac Stidco yesterday who offered her the job." added Stella.
"Wait, that can't be right..." said Galatea. "You said yesterday?"
"Yeah?"
"I know Mr. Stidco personally, and I was with him all day yesterday at the Golden Auditorium as guest speakers." Said Galatea, which alarmed everyone else. "Also, I know for a fact we don't have a Magix City branch."
"Wait, what...?" said Bloom.
Somewhere in Magix...
Ranma was with Flora at a specialty flower shop as the tanned brunette was questioning the owner on the special soil they had and what the price would be.
"Yes, I believe this is what I'm looking for." said Flora. Suddenly, her phone began ringing. "I'm sorry, hold on." Flora takes out her phone and answers. "Hello? Oh Stella, what's going on? Yeah, Ranma and I are still in the city, why? ... what...? Are you certain? Oh no! I'll tell him right away! Thanks, Stella!"
Ranma noticed Flora was a bit agitated after she hung up. "Flora? What's wrong?"
"Sorry, something just came up, I'll come back later." said Flora to the cashier. She quickly grabs Ranma by the arm and exited the store. "Ranma, Musa may be in danger!"
"What!?"
"Stella and the others had talked with Galatea earlier and she confirmed that Celestial Talent doesn't have an office here! She also said the talent scout Musa met was with Galatea back on Melody!"
Ranma's blood ran cold. It also sounded like... "Flora, call the authorities. I'll head back over there!"
"Good idea! The others are on their way and we'll meet up with you later! Someone has to lead them to the building!"
With that, Ranma and Flora went off in different directions.
Celestial Talent building (?) some time later...
Ranma manages to get to the building and flung open the doors before rushing inside.
"What the hell...?"
Upon entering, he noticed the place was oddly deserted. Ranma had no time to think about that now and headed for the stairs trying to find where Musa was at.
'Where is she!? Please don't let me be too late!' Ranma thought as he searched the floor. Once he got to the third floor, he was able to hear some sounds.
'It's coming from over there' Ranma rushes to a door and pressed his ear against it.
"No! Let go of me!"
"Shut up! This is all a part of your interview!"
"Got to say, that witch was right. She lead us to a real beauty!"
Ranma has heard enough. "MUSA!"
The door was violently kicked open, catching everyone's attention. Ranma found himself in a large room with no windows and was bare, save for a mattress on the floorand a camera on a tripod. There were also eight unsavory looking men along with the impostor Mac Stidco. Musa was currently being held down by the false Mac on the mattress. On her neck was some kind of metal collar with a glowing gem. They all turned to see a very pissed off pigtailed martial artist emitting a red aura.
"Huh!? Who the hell are you barging in like this!?" shouted one of the men.
Musa looked up to see the pigtailed boy. "Ranma!"
"What the hell are you doing to Musa...?" Ranma asked in a low and dangerous tone.
"Hey, would you not get in our way? We're just trying to educate the girl so she won't misbehave during the job." said the fake Mac.
"If you want to stick around, you'll have to settle for sloppy seconds, or slippery thirds! Hehe!" said one of the men.
WHAM!
Before the guy knew it, Ranma was right in his face and punched him across the room, where he slammed into and cracked the wall before slumping into la-la land.
"I'll only say this once. Get away from her." Ranma said in a frigid voice.
False Mac and the rest of the men got taken by surprise at the action, but held firm.
"Seems we got a guy who thinks he's a hero! Wreck him!" said False Mac as he and the other men pulled out weapons like clubs, knives, and brass knuckles.
They all charged with weapons held high at the pigtailed boy, which proved to be a mistake. Ranma parried a club strike from one thug and counter-punches him in the face, knocking him away. He lashes out with a kick at a second thug who tried to stab a knife at him, sending him hurtling and smashing into another wall. He then grabs the face of a third thug and slams his head into the floor. Ranma kicks out at the fourth thug right in the chin, sending him slamming into the ceiling before crashing down. He then grabs the fifth and sixth thugs by their hair and slammed their heads together before tossing them like rag dolls. After taking out the thugs, Ranma turned an angry glare at the false Mac, who began trembling with fear.
"Wait wait wait! Please! There's no need for violence! Let's talk this out!" the false Mac pleaded.
His plea fell on deaf ears as Ranma grabbed false Mac by the collar and delivered a hard right cross to his face, knocking him down hard onto the floor, which cracked it a little. Another oddity was that the man's face had broken apart, revealing it was nothing but a mask which covered his real one, which was greasy-looking with a large nose, small eyes, and extended lips.
Ranma turned to see Musa on the mattress, who was teary-eyed.
"Musa, you okay?" asked Ranma as he helped her up to her feet.
Musa said nothing as she embraced him while crying in his chest. "Ranma! Ranma! I was so scared! If you hadn't have come, they... they would have..."
"It's okay, Musa. It's okay." said Ranma as he comforted the distraught girl. He noticed the metal choker on her. "What is that?"
"It's a collar with an anti-magic gem in it." said Musa. "It's sealing off my powers. They clamped it on me before I realized what happened."
"Well then, it's gotta go!" said Ranma as he used his strength to forcefully break the collar's lock and pulled it off of Musa's neck. "How's that?"
"Much better..." said Musa.
Suddenly, the room got a little cold.
"You worthless insect!"
Ranma and Musa turned to the arrogant voice and looked up to see a huge ice ball flying towards them.
"WATCH OUT!"
Ranma and Musa quickly dodged the ice ball.
"WINX ENCHANTIX!" Musa immediately transformed into her Enchantix as she knew who was responsible.
The two look up to see Icy had appeared from the cold mists.
"Icy!?" shouted Musa.
"You ruined a perfectly good show! How dare you interfere!" shouted Icy.
"A good show!? This was YOUR idea!?" shouted Ranma as he recalled what one of the thugs earlier said a witch lead them to Musa.
"Of course it was!" said Icy. "I wanted to crush that stupid Faerie's dreams in the worst possible way, then I had a great idea when I found that group of human traffickers! She'd get famous alright, but not in the way she wanted!"
Musa grits her teeth in anger. "You...!"
Icy fires off another ice shot at Ranma and Musa, who quickly dodge. "But it looked like these fools were more useless than I thought. No matter. I can still do this!"
Using her powers, all the thugs were encased in ice and came back as seven-foot ice golems.
"No fair! I was hoping to get a turn on that cutie!"
Ranma grits his teeth after recognizing the voice, seeing the ancient pervert making himself known. "You old freak!"
Happosai appeared next to Icy. "Hey girl! Don't hurt her too bad! I still want to sample the goods!"
"Once we incapacitate them, knock yourself out, old man!" said Icy as she fired a strong blast of freezing wind, which caused Ranma and Musa to be sent flying back and falling to the floor.
"Take this, punks!" shouted Happosai as he followed up with an explosion spell.
"SOUND BOUNCE!" Musa puts up a sound barrier to block the explosion, but was knocked back into Ranma where they collapse to the ground.
"Musa!" shouted Ranma after catching the twintailed girl.
"Get them!" shouted Icy as she commanded the ice golems to charge at the two.
Ranma quickly scooped up Musa in his arms and jumped around to dodge the ice golems' wild attacks that iced over everything they hit.
"ICEBREAKER!" Icy fires an ice boulder at Ranma and Musa.
"SOUNDBLAST!" Musa counters with a concentrated soundwave, but it wasn't as strong as she would've hoped, causing both her and Ranma to get knocked back.
"Musa! Stay with me now!" said Ranma as he cradled the Faerie.
"I'm sorry... that choker must've left me too weak..." said Musa.
Ranma grits his teeth. 'Damn! Didn't take that into account! She must still feel pretty drained after being forced to wear that collar!' He looks up to see that the ice golems have surrounded them. Happosai jumped on the shoulder of one of them and Icy floated up near the couple.
"What's the matter, little birdy? Feeling weak?" Icy taunted.
"Was this Valtor's orders!?" Ranma demanded.
"No, this is personal!" said Icy as she looked at Musa. "Seeing you talking about following your dreams is simply laughable! There's no such thing and I'm going to wake you up from your delusions! I also haven't forgotten that slap you gave me!" (2)
Musa's eyes widened. "That was three years ago, you psychotic witch!"
"No one gets away with that! And I mean NO ONE!" screeched Icy. She flew toward them with a hand held back. "FRIGID FIST!"
Icy punches forward with a fist wrapped in thick swirling snow and ice. At that moment, Ranma's hair was shading over his eyes as he felt an anger like no other.
WHAM!
Icy was knocked back, slamming into an ice golem. She looked up in shock to see that an angry Onyx Riven was hovering above Ranma with a fist held out, having punched the witch in her face.
"You... YOU DARE!?"
"You really sunk to a new low..." said Ranma. "So she slapped you in the face, and you decide to set her up to be gang-raped!?"
"So what if I did!? She should thank me! I would've helped made her famous as an amateur sex idol! Making money off her videos would've been a nice bonus, and I'd get some amusement!"
Ranma started emitting a red battle aura, which made the antagonists flinch. "You say Musa's dream is worthless... and tried to destroy it in the worst possible way... from this point on, I don't even consider you a human being. You're just a psychotic bratty bitch, so who the hell gives a damn what you think!? Musa's dream is something worth working for and I won't let you piss all over it!"
He lets off an explosion of ki that knocked Icy, Happosai, and the ice golems back a few feet.
"Ranma..." said Musa.
Suddenly, Ranma's hand and Musa's chest began to glow with a deep purple light. Both were surprised, but then nodded to each other. Icy recognized what was about to happen.
"NO! STOP THEM!" screamed Icy as she directed Happosai and the ice golems to converge on Ranma and Musa.
Things went into slow motion as the group of antagonists rushed at the couple. Ranma reached out with his glowing hand and grabbed Musa's breast with a firm squeeze. She gave off a moan of pleasure and relief before they both get obscured in a column of light. The union once again sent Icy, Happosai, and the ice golems flying back.
Once the light died down, Ranma stood tall with Musa missing. He looks down at himself and notice he was wearing a dark purple armored greave on his right leg from the knee to the sole. It had a sort of technological look as the shin guard resembled a small sound amplifier with mini speakers on each side of the shin. Looking under the sole, it also sported what looked like a subwoofer and tweeter.
'Guess I'm a greave like Layla.' said Greave Musa.
"Just as well since I'm ready to kick some ass!" said Ranma.
"Hey! Where'd the cutie go?" asked Happosai.
"Never mind that! Wreck that loser!" Icy commanded.
The ice golems all charged at Ranma. The pigtailed boy reared his right leg back and swung in a horizontal spin kick.
"SOUNDBLAST KICK!"
A thick soundwave slammed into the ice golems, knocking them back, much to Icy and Happosai's shock.
"How'd that punk do that!?" said Happosai. He jumped up and cast another explosion spell, but Ranma counters by jumping up and kicking downward with his leg at the explosion, causing it to smother out.
'You know, I feel a song coming up!' said Greave Musa.
"Huh?" said Ranma as he looked at his right leg.
'My power is amplified with music. Just follow my lead!'
Suddenly, the speakers on the greave activate and started playing an upbeat tune. Ranma found himself dancing to the beat as well as sensing something being ingrained into his mind.
(Music start, 'Giant Step')
"Musa! I can feel your rhythm!" said Ranma as he started dancing in place.
'We're in sync! Now let's bust a move!' said Greave Musa.
An ice golem charged at Ranma, but he simply lashed out with a kick that let off a concentrated sound wave upon impact, sending it flying. Not losing a beat, Ranma spin jump and kicks out at another ice golem, breaking its arm off.
"What are you all doing!? He's just dancing like a fool! Get that freak!" yelled Icy.
Ranma beats off another golem, giving him some breathing room as he suddenly felt words in his mind. Greave Musa then began to sing as Ranma kicked ass.
Greave Musa: Doushite furueteru atarashiku kawareru (What's wrong, why are you trembling so?)
Start wo mae ni shite (Change to something new and push start)
Ranma danced around as he lashed out with kicks from his greave-clad foot, leaving footprints in their surfaces. To his surprise, he began to sing himself.
Ranma: Mienai ashita to iu tightrope wo aruku (Walk the tightrope known as an invisible tomorrow)

He does a fast kick to one ice golem, then quickly kicked to the opposite side on another golem, before back kicking one that tried to get him from behind. He crouches down and somersalt kicks another ice golem charging from the front, knocking it onto its back. Happosai jumps in with a compressed explosion from his palms, but Ranma throws a soundwave kick that blew the explosion back at him. The ancient pervert was busted through the wall and out over the horizon. All while Ranma was singing.
'Hold on? How am I singing? And why do I know the words?' thought Ranma.
Greave Musa: Ochisou dakara (If you're facing down)
Ranma jumps up and kicks at an ice golem leaping at him.
Ranma: Shita wo muitara (Because you're scared to fall)
Ranma drops down and axe kicks an ice golem below him.
Both: Sora wa mienai (You won't see the universe)
Ranma spins on the ground, ending in a crane stance with him giving a 'come hither' gesture with his hand.
Icy gets enraged at the insult of having her forces beaten down by someone who is singing without a break in his performance. "Shut the hell up! Get him, you worthless golems!"
Greave Musa: Mugen possibility (Infinite possibilities)
Both: Kimi no koto wo yondeirun da! (Are calling for you!)
The nine ice golems immediately tried to dogpile Ranma as he dances. Icy smirks maliciously, but her eyes widen in shock when the ice golems suddenly get tossed about like rag dolls. All due to Ranma knocking them away while doing a windmill breakdance.

Ranma jumps up and kicks out at four of the ice golems at the beats, then does a hard downward stamp on a fifth one upon the 'step' lyric. He zips off to charge kick at the other four ice golems.
Ranma: Sekai ni wa (To the new world)
Ranma stomps his foot, causing the shin speakers to blow out another sound wave at the ice golems, stopping them in place.
(Greave Musa: For the new world)
He then quickly kicks at each of the golems' heads at the speed of sound.
Ranma: Mirai ni wa (The future is)
(Greave Musa: For the new days)
The ice golems were broken apart, reverting them back into the thugs from before. They were unable to withstand Ranma's battle dance. An enraged Icy powers up her magic to attack the singing martial artist.
"I'LL PUT AN END TO YOUR STUPID SONG!" shouted Icy. "ICE COFFIN!"
Both: Eikyou wa ookisugiru hodo! (It's just too big an influence!)
Ranma dodges the ice attack and simply sound kick it right back at Icy, nailing her in the face. This only enrages her more.
Both: Kitto GIANT STEP (Surely GIANT step!)
"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT THE HELL UP- URK!"
Icy was on the receiving end of a kick to her gut from Ranma's greave-clad leg. As she fell to the ground, Ranma stomps on her face on the 'step' lyric.
Both: Issenchi datte kamawanai (Even if it's by one centimeter)
Ranma steps off of Icy's face, then uses his other foot to kick Icy up like a soccer ball before hitting her body with a roundhouse kick at the speed of sound, sending her flying.
Greave Musa: Hora nanka (Look, somehow)
(Ranma: Ima kaze ga) (The wind has)
Greave Musa: Kawatta no (Now changed)
(Ranma: Kizuiteta?) (You noticed?)
The greave also increases Ranma's speed as he suddenly ran to where Icy was flying and catches her by the neck. He then unleashed a barrage of high-speed kicks on the witch, giving her more than a few bruises.
Both: Dakara kimi sono mama (That's why you should, just like that)
"I'm... going... to... URK!" said Icy defiantly, but was cut off when Ranma thrust kicks her into the wall, pinning her with his foot. The speakers on his sole activate and released a concentrated soundblast, causing the wall to depress and crack.
Both: One more step!
As the finale, Ranma does a spinning back kick, that breaks Icy through the wall and sending her flying over the horizon, screaming in pain all the way. The music fades away.

'Don't underestimate the power of music!' said Greave Musa.
Suddenly, the ice in the room melted. Not only that, the building's interior started to deteriorate, revealing it had been abandoned for quite some time.
"Huh? The building was an illusion?" asked Ranma.
'Must've been set up by Icy, and since we beat her, it cancelled out.' said Greave Musa. 'Man! Beating that witch to a pulp felt SO satisfying!'
"You got that right." said Ranma. He was still angered that the witch would dare pull something so evil.
"Musa!"
Ranma turns to see Bloom, Stella, Flora, Tecna, and Layla barging in.
"Girls!" said Ranma.
"What happened in here?" asked Flora as she and the others looked around the room as well as the unconscious thugs.
"It's a long story."
Tecna noticed Ranma's right leg. "Ranma? Is that...?"
'Hi, girls. Yeah, it's me.' said Greave Musa.
"Oh wow! Musa became a greave just like Layla did!" said Stella.
Suddenly, the greave began to glow, and in an instant, a naked Musa was sitting near Ranma as she hugged his right leg, causing him to blush and look away. Musa also blushed as she tried to hide herself behind Ranma's leg. Thankfully, Stella materialized her clothes back on.
Ending
Ranma stood with the Winx outside the now derelict building. Several police cars were parked outside as the police escorted the handcuffed traffickers to be incarcerated.
"Oh Musa! I'm so sorry you went through such an ordeal!" said Bloom as she hugged her friend.
"Yeah, well it's behind me, now." said Musa.
"I'd hate to think what would've happened if Ranma got there too late..." said Flora.
"Best not to think about it, Flora." said Layla.
"I blame myself. I should've thought to check the validity of the place first." said Tecna.
"It wasn't your fault, Tecna. None of us thought of it, either." said Musa.
"It was just a good thing Galatea called me at that exact moment. Her call really saved you. She really is a great friend." said Stella.
"Yeah, she is."
Bloom was angered after she and the others learned of Icy's plot. "I always knew Icy was evil, but this is a new low even for her!" The others frowned at that as well.
"That's why I made sure to have wrecked her scrawny ass even worse than usual." said Ranma. He looks to Musa. "You'll be all right, won't you?"
"Don't worry, I'm tougher than I look." Musa assured.
"That's good. Otherwise, your dad would probably kill me." Everyone gets a laugh out of that.
"I hope this won't deter you from following your dream, Musa." said Flora.
"Not by a longshot! There will be other opportunities. I just know it! I'll just have to be careful from now on."
After returning to the Winx dorm, Musa was immediately hugged by a crying Xander, relieved to see her unharmed. She tried to console the boy, saying she's fine now. Shampoo, Ukyou, and Mousse were also glad Musa was safe.
On the late news, it was revealed the thugs were part of an illegal sex ring the authorities have been trying to track down. Now that they've been captured, the police interrogated them on the whereabouts of the other members and their clients. In the coming weeks, all members of the sex ring were tracked down and arrested. Seemed another evil was taken down and all is good with Magix for now.

Yeah, I know this chapter took a dark turn here. Got this idea after playing Judgment. Rape and human trafficking is no joke and is one of the most evil crimes to be committed. I seriously think Icy would be an evil and spiteful enough bitch to set someone up to get raped just for a laugh. That's also another reason I DESPISE season 8 with a passion. They try to set this bitch up as a "sympathetic villain" and try to redeem her. Seriously? Especially in the LAST 4 EPS!? That's what one calls bad, rushed, and forced writing. Icy had already been established as being WAY beyond redemption of any kind. If they're smart, they'll treat 8 as non-canon or simply act as if it didn't exist.
